  1. Salam I have a fel questions my dear brothers and sisters. 1. I feel like Sunni Islam (abu bakr, uthman,Omar’s) have been spreading our great religion in a really bad way (by the sword) like terrorist groups. Because they attacked other contries and forced others to be muslim. They killed innocent people and I think if u spread anything with violence others won’t want to follow that religion. I’m not saying that Sunnis are bad I mean that this shows that our Imams are the rightly guided ones. Because they didn’t do stuff like this! Does anyone agree with how I’m thinking and if not how? Plz tell me. 2. The prophet Muhammad never attacked any other country and the Imams didn’t but the caliphs did so.Does this mean that Shia Islam is peaceful? (In my opinion yes) 3. Has the prophet or Imams ever attacked any contries (Not what I know, but if so why?) 4. I know that Imam Ali got the power to take over some caliphate after the 3 caliphs died. But why did he accept it? Is it because he made a nicer, kinder regime. Thank u dear brothers and sister I have been thinking of this for 1 year now.
  2. First, the people of Iraq fought the Akkadians, then the Assyrians, the Persians, the Greek, then the Roman Empire, then suffered the Sunni invasion, then the Islamic Civil War happened, then the Battle of Karbala, the Second Islamic Civil War, the Baghdad Revolt, the Mongol Invasion, the Turco-Mongols, the Ottoman Empire, the Persians again, the Ottomans again, the Mamluks, the Ottomans, the British, the British again, the 14th of July Revolution - British Monarchy falls, the Ba'ath Socialist Party invades - they lose power, they invade again, Saddam Hussein brings death and misery for decades, then the Americans invade for 9 years - they give up and leave, then the Iraqis fight off Al-Qaeda, then they fought off ISIS flawlessly, the Kurds then attempt to start a war as soon as the Iraqis finish off ISIS in order to take advantage of their shaky legs and tired bodies - the Kurds then surrender the North of Iraq to the Iraqis.... This is who you are dealing with... And now, for the first time in many ages, Iraq is (relatively) peaceful. No war. The people still stand strong, happy, laughing, smiling, dancing, having a good time with faith in God even after all the adversity that overcame their land. If a plague were to take the entire world, or flames consume it, Iraq would be the last to fall. The Lions of Babylon.
  3. What is your opinion on this. I see it coming very close and it is getting more tense day by day. Trump drops the deals, Iran attacks Israeli Bases, Israel attack back with 60 rockets... Day of Judgement is near. Its not too far away. What do you think ? Will it start ? Who is getting involved ? Are we going to die ? Do you fear it ? Do you think Saheb Al Zaman will come upon us and help us ? Will he come after hundreds of years ? Will they drop Nukes ? Me and my "class mate" where having discussion about this. My personality is very Positive and Energetic while he was stressed as hell. He was so worried about death and dying at a young age ( he is an aethiest) and I was honestly not giving one crap about death (except my family). So what do you say... Btw why are there not any nuclear bunkers ? Honestly anything can happen any second. Also I cant find a lot on the Internet. Will Russia and China back up Iran in case of everything. Ya Allah I cant wait for Faraj Saheb Al Zaman. I want it to be infront of my eyes Inshallah. Btw my mate was like theres something wrong with me (in a friendly way obviously) for being just so positive about life and death. My message was clear if it is Allahs plan for us to Die then we Die and I said that Positively and That guy was Stressed. This is too jokes arguing with an Aethiest, He was like "what you happy you going to heaven" I was there crying in tears of laughter about Aethiest people comments. IDK im just an Extremely Happy person Alhamdulilah. I only fear Three things in this world. Allah, My mums griefs if I die before her and Cockroches. Yes Im serious im more worried about having Cockroches in My house then getting nuked.

  9. It seems Jews, Christians and Muslims are finally at peace with one another. Congratulations to SC management and members for achieving this extraordinary goal. But Jews and Muslims need not worry anyway. It appears the next war will be between two Christian countries - North Korea and what's the other one. Ah yes! I think they call themselves "God's own country.".

    Women in war

Is a woman allowed to fight in a war for the sake of Allah? Have there been any female warriors in Islamic history?
  11. (Bismillah) Salam I don't wanna sound like an atheist but I'm trying to be as critical as I can cuz these questions are holding me back from being a Shia Muslim and I would be so happy if u could answer these questions so that people don't always win me in argues with these questions thank u. 1. Is it true that if u revert or convert away from Islam u will be killed: Quran Quran (4:89) - "They wish that you should reject faith as they reject faith, and then you would be equal; therefore take not to yourselves friends of them, until they emigrate in the way of God; then, if they turn their backs, take them, and slay them wherever you find them; take not to yourselves any one of them as friend or helper." Verse 4:65 says that those who have faith are in "full submission" to Muhammad's teachings. This verse explains what should happen to Muslims who do not have faith. Quran (9:11-12) - "But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then are they your brethren in religion. We detail Our revelations for a people who have knowledge. And if they break their pledges after their treaty (hath been made with you) and assail your religion, then fight the heads of disbelief - Lo! they have no binding oaths - in order that they may desist." Other verses that seem to support the many Hadith that establish the death sentence for apostates are Quran verses 2:217, 9:73-74, 88:21, 5:54, 9:66. Hadith and Sira The most reliable Hadith collection contain numerous accounts of Muhammad and his companions putting people to death for leaving Islam. According to verse4:80 of the Quran: "Those who obey the Messenger obey Allah." Sahih Bukhari (52:260) - "...The Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' " Sahih Bukhari (83:37) - "Allah's Apostle never killed anyone except in one of the following three situations: (1) A person who killed somebody unjustly, was killed (in Qisas,) (2) a married person who committed illegal sexual intercourse and (3) a man who fought against Allah and His Apostle and deserted Islam and became an apostate." Sahih Bukhari (84:57) - [In the words of] "Allah's Apostle, 'Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.'" Sahih Bukhari (89:271) - A man who embraces Islam, then reverts to Judaism is to be killed according to "the verdict of Allah and his apostle." Sahih Bukhari (84:58) - "There was a fettered man beside Abu Muisa. Mu'adh asked, 'Who is this (man)?' Abu Muisa said, 'He was a Jew and became a Muslim and then reverted back to Judaism.' Then Abu Muisa requested Mu'adh to sit down but Mu'adh said, 'I will not sit down till he has been killed. This is the judgment of Allah and His Apostle (for such cases) and repeated it thrice.' Then Abu Musa ordered that the man be killed, and he was killed. Abu Musa added, 'Then we discussed the night prayers'" 2. Why is Shiism the right sect when we hit our selfs for Imam Hussein wen hurting yourself is haram and hitting yourself on the chest makes health issues worse. And did the imams or prophet tell us to hit each other or slice each other up and tawasul is haram right u can only pray to Allah or else it's haram in the beginning of the Quran it says worship Allah alone only him and there is no verse supporting to say ya ali or ya Hussein why can't we say ya Allah or ya Muhammad rasolallah why do we put more focus on the imams and not as much to the prophet. If you answer to these questions and it make sense and with sources I will convert to Shia Islam 3. Is the Darwin theory true? Or Adam and Eve can any of it be true and how. 4. It's haram to take over other countries and take their land like tha caliphs did right and if the prophet allowed it is their any proof and why was it to have power is this the pure Islam? 5. We shouldn't be visiting Imams shrines no I mean like puttinggg gold around it it's haram right and also people talk with the imams why isn't this haram and some imams say that the Quran is not the right version. And they focus so much on Imam Hussein and hit them selves why is it ok if u don't do that? Extra questions why are the Middle East contries back is it cuz of o freedom like the sharia law why do people that don't Belive in Islam have to follow our rules and don't u think thoose rules were good for 1400 years ago, why do we have marjas? thank u so much brothers and sisters Allah hafiz

  14. Muharib (attacker) is a person who commits a crime outrageously and openly in such a way that the public is offended or disturbed extremely. Muharib frightens people, creates inconvenience in a city or desert, whether he is weak or strong, a man or a woman. In all cases such a person is a muharib (attacker) and when the attack is directed against Muslims according to Qur’an it is equivalent to waging war against Allah, the Exalted, and Prophet (S) and Qur’an says regarding it, The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement (Surah al-Maidah 5:33)
  15. Iraq censures 'irresponsible' remarks by Turkey's Erdogan Erdogan said the Turkish army would not take orders from Iraq to leave the country. "Who's that? The Iraqi prime minister. First you know your place!" Erdogan said in comments addressed to Abadi. "He is insulting me personally. You are not my interlocutor, you are not at my level," the Turkish president told a meeting in Istanbul, adding, "It's not important at all how you shout from Iraq. You should know that we will do what we want to do." http://presstv.com/Detail/2016/10/11/488634/Iraq-Haider-alAbadi-Saad-alHusseini-Turkey-Erdogan-Mosul unbelievable! I don't understand why the Iraqi army is not attacking them!!

  19. I hope you are all in the best of health and in the best of Imaan. Also, Ramadhan Mubarak to you all. So, I'm interested in understanding the extent of the political authority of a marja. We all know that according to usooli belief it is incumbent upon an individual to do the taqleed of a marja and waajib upon him to abide by the laws of fiqh as set down by the marja. We also have a famous saying that taqleed is in fiqh, not aqaid (beliefs). So, those limits are pretty clear but what is often not clear is the political authority a marja commands. Now, part of answering this question goes back to the raging debates we've had over the years on Wilayatul Faqih and Iran and, if possible, I'd like to avoid those. Instead, I'd like you to answer three simple questions:1. Can a marja ask me to kill someone? Is it incumbent upon me to obey him - even if I don't necessarily agree with him on the reasoning or if he actually doesn't even give one? We have the opinion by many scholars that the hudud cannot be implemented or an offensive war cannot be initiated except in the presence of a ma'soom. Will the murder of a single individual, then, follow in the same vein (as a war is basically killing people in the plural and in this case you're killing just one person?) Also, I know that someone do hold the belief that this is not necessary so I'm only interested in the opinion of those scholars who do deem the presence of ma'soom necessary in the above two situations. 2. If a marja endorses someone in an election, for example, is it wajib for me to vote for them?3. How much political authority do they command in general? In particular, I'm interested in the famous tobacco fatwa of Iran, where a marja banned tobacco for what seemed to be purely political reasons. Was he allowed to do that? Is there a difference of opinion on this? Also, let's assume that the above hypotheticals involve a marja who is not the head of a Islamic government under which you live (so, someone like Ayatollah Seestani and not Ayatollah Khamenaei as the existence of an Islamic government and the stature of the individual ruling as the haakim would muddle the discussion. Now, I also know that some believe that the authority of an Islamic government, like the one established in Iran, is not restricted to those living within the physical borders of the country - and thus any command from Ayatollah Khamenaei, for example, is incumbent upon all Shi'as, and not just those who do his taqlid or those living in Iran and, again, this is a whole topic on its own so I'd like to assume, for the purpose of this discussion, that that is not the case. PS: Once again, I'd like to remind you that while it's obvious that discussion of the theory of wilayatul faqih will inevitably be required in answering my question, I would prefer it if we didn't make this thread just about the theory, or about Iran and its implementation of the idea. Also, while I have singled out Ayatollah Seestani as I am his muqallid and wants to know what he believes is obligatory for me, I do want to know the variety of opinions that are out there, including those of Ayatollah Khomeini and Ayatollah Khamenaei (just with the assumptions I have put forth - so, in a hypothetical world where they were not the heads of states of an Islamic government in Iran).

  23. Salaam, Today I would like to speak about the Elephant Camel in the Room. As we know for approximately the past two decades (especially) Islam's media image has been filled with malaise. In today's world it is ever so easy to connect to the internet and digest information, in consequence it easy to presume that you have superior knowledge in certain subjects or area, Islam I believe is one of the least spared when it comes to pseudo intellectual trolls posting oh so very much one this religion. You know what I speak of, the Rapist,Raider,Pedo etc...Moon worshipper? Before losing track on the vast creativity, ignorance and hate filled garbage, I want to focus on a new emerging class some may have already seen it rear its ugly head, do you know what I speak of? I am speaking about the "Bourgeoisie, look at these Muslim apologists will they never learn ?" class. I hope everyone can debate together to deconstruct these arguments. It is vital given the situation and its rapid growth. thanks in advance! I will play Iblis's Advocate please join the conversation "haters" included Here are two sites I suggest before starting https://sites.google.com/site/islamicthreatsimplified/islamic-muslim-apologists--who-are-they http://www.***.org/Authors/Arlandson/ten_reasons.htm the below will be the first point this one nicks at me the most at the moment (it is pulled from the second site) I hope all can provide a clear defense. 4. Muhammad aggressively attacks Meccan caravans. A year or so after Muhammad’s Hijrah from Mecca to Medina in 622, he attacks Meccan caravans six times, and sent out a punitive expedition three-days away against an Arab tribe that stole some Medinan grazing camels (or cattle), totaling seven raids. W. Montgomery Watt, a highly reputable Western Islamologist who writes in favor of Muhammad and whose two-volume history of early Islam (Muhammad at Mecca (1953) and Muhammad at Medina(1956)) has won wide acceptance, tells us why geography matters: The chief point to notice is that the Muslims took the offensive. With one exception the seven expeditions were directed against Meccan caravans. The geographical situation lent itself to this. Caravans from Mecca to Syria had to pass between Medina and the coast. Even if they kept as close to the Red Sea as possible, they had to pass within about eighty miles of Medina, and, while at this distance from the enemy base, would be twice as far from their own base. (Muhammad at Medina, emphasis added, p. 2) It must be emphatically stated that the Meccans never sent a force up to the doorstep of Medina at this time—they did later on when they were fed up with Muhammad’s aggressions. It is true that the Meccans gathered forces to protect their caravans, but when Muhammad confronted them, they were many days’ journeys away from Medina, often more than eighty miles. (Medina and Mecca are around 200-250 miles from each other, taking seven to eleven days of travel by foot, horse, or camel.) Hence, two Muslim scholar-apologists are misleading when they assert that the caravans "passed through" Medina, adding that the Muslims haphazardly sought for whatever spoils they could get, whereas the Meccans mobilized for war (Isma’il R. al-Faruqi and Lois Lamya’al Faruqi, The Cultural Atlas of Islam, New York: Macmillan, 1986, 134). Rather, it is more accurate to say that the Muslims were aggressively harassing the Meccans. To complete the picture of expeditions, raids and wars in Muhammad’s life from 622 to 632, Watt totals up the number that Muhammad either sent out or went out on: seventy-four (Muhammad at Medina, pp. 2; 339-43). They range from negotiations (only a few compared to the violent expeditions), to small assassination hit squads, to the conquest of Mecca with 10,000 jihadists, and to the confrontation of Byzantine Christians (who never showed up), with 30,000 holy warriors to Tabuk (see below). For a fuller account of these six early aggressive attacks against Meccan caravans, go to this article, which explains more thoroughly why these attacks are not defensive. Thus, aggressive military violence sits at the heart of early Islam—in Muhammad’s life and in the Quran. Islam is therefore not the religion of peace Salaam,
  24. I just read the title and it confused me a little. What "Post-war conflicts" has Iraq left war behind it? It is constantly bleeding.
  25. Salam everyone. I found this channel on youtube. Please watch all the videos closely, give it time. And then please tell me what you think? Some of the videos are very old even before what happened in the Middle East. Some might say that this person is conspiracy theorist, but it doesn't seem like one. I pray for the safety and hasty return of Imam of the time so that he can lead the world movement against tyranny and falsehood and restore the humanity to its honor and dignity. Ameen.
