(salam) I haven't posted in this section for a long time due to the same old topics being re-cycled over and over, it got useless; a discussion of ego's. I want to ask all those that believe the first 3 to be superior to Imam Ali (as) a few simple questions. Where are the scholarly works of the 3? if there aren't any why not? Surely if they are so elevated then they must have some books of there own. If not where are their many beautiful sermons/sayings? We all know that Imam Ali's (as) sermons and sayings are compiled; Nahjul Balagha. Please keep it on topic and useful. I just want to hear opinions/theories, without bias if possible. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I just saw this thread - http://www.shiachat....-it-understood/ My bad, it is in essence the same question.

Why 99% Of Terrorist Belong To Sunni Sect?
ShaanHussayn posted a topic in General Islamic Discussion
What is the main reason that the majority of the Muslim terrorist belong to Sunni sect? I'm very curious. One of my friend told me that some of the companions left a legacy(Such as Umar attacked Persia and committed a Persian genocide when he converted them into Islam) and their teachings are extremist teachings. Is it true? If so, please go in-depth for detailed knowledge on their legacy. Thanks a lot brothers. -
Why is that for past decade or so, Israeli and Saudi interests in ME and in the global politics almost always align with each other? Does it mean Saudis and Israelis are natural allies? Why don't they start a formal diplomatic relationships between Saudis and Israelis and consider each other the Most Favored Nation? They have exactly the same stance on Palestine, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. Both complement each other in investing money in US media to buy American goodwill, both have powerful lobbies supporting each other and their own causes in Washington, both countries intelligence agencies act like twin sisters when it comes to ME and the outside world. A recent example is they both are equally mad and concerned about the beginning of US and Iran establishment of relations. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/09/29/world/middleeast/israel-and-others-in-mideast-view-overtures-of-us-and-iran-with-suspicion.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0

Sunni Brothers, I've a question, please don't get angry or start cursing. This is just a question, I really want to learn. Why Sunnis love the known enemies of the Prophet (pbuh) ? Some examples of Sunnis loving the enemies of Prophet are: 1. Sunnis love Aisha who used to hurt, taunt, hate, waged war on Prophet's Ahlulbayt. 2. Sunnis love Umer who said he will kill the prophet right before he converted. 3. Sunnis love Khalid bin Walid who was the leader of the Kuffar in Battle of Ohud. 4. Sunnis love Muawiah who waged wars on prophet until the conquest of Makkah. 5. Sunnis love Abu Sufyan who was the leader of Kuffar of Makkah until the conquest of Makkah. Yes Prophet (pbuh) forgave them after the conquest of Makkah, but the question is, "Did they Forgive the Prophet for bringing Islam to the people"?

Sunni brothers, give me one example which shows that Aisha loved Sayeda Fatima Zahra (as) or any of the Ahlulbayt who Prophet (s) used to love, namely Ali, Hasan, Hussain (Salam on all of them and Lanat with their enemies). Here are a few which shows Aisha was jealous of Fatima Zahra (as). 1. Sayeda Fatima Zahra (as) passed away in 4 months after the demise of the Prophet (pbuh). Aisha did not let Fatima Zahra bury next to Prophet. 2. Prophet assigned his dearest wife Umm-e-Salma (ra) to take care of Fatima and her children in his absence. Prophet ignored Aisha and Hafsa knowing their jealousy of Fatima Zahra. 3. Aisha waged a vicious war on Fatima Zahra's husband Imam Ali, as soon as Imam Ali became the Khalifa. 4. Aisha made her servants and supporters to shoot arrow on the janaza of Imam Hassan, the first son of Fatima Zahra (as) when they were carrying the Janaza to bury Imam Hassan right next to the prophet. 5. Aisha used to show her open jealousy and used to ridicule the most favorite wife of Prophet, namely UmmulMomineen Khadijah who was the mother of Fatima Zahra (as). Bottom Line - Aisha used to hate everything about Fatima Zahra (as), she used to hate her, hate her husband Ali, hate her father Muhammad, hate her mother Khadijah, and hate her sons Hassan and Hussain. Aisha was a known hater. So my question is would she qualify for Jannah of which Sayeda Fatima is the leader of? Thoughts, concerns, comments welcome! Please don't make it a cursing thread. It is haram in Shia Islam to curse Aisha. It is highly mustahib to hate and curse the enemies of Allah, Prophet, and Ahlulbayt.

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2013/07/09/secret-document-appears-to-show-qatar-payoffs-to-key-morsi-cronies/ A secret document that appears to show six-figure payments from Qatar to top Muslim Brotherhood officials is fueling charges of corruption and hypocrisy at ousted Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and his Islamist cronies. The document, allegedly recovered in the ransacking of Muslim Brotherhood offices in Cairo after the Egyptian military removed Morsi from office, lists payments ranging from $250,000 to $850,000 to top Morsi associates from the former Prime Minister of Qatar. The payments, which some observers believe may be linked to funding Qatar provided the Morsi government on steep and unpopular terms, undermine the religious regime’s moral authority, say experts. “The notion was that because they were Islamists, because they are more religious, they had higher morals when it came to issues like corruption,” Jonathan Schanzer, vice president of the Washington-based Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, told FoxNews.com. “It seems that when in power, Islamists can often succumb to the same temptations.” The document, written in both English and Arabic, was brought to light by independent Egyptian journalist Abdallah Hamouda in a recent appearance on the BBC. Hamouda said he “challenged the people whose names were listed to defend themselves, but no one rang [back].” The document, dated March 28, 2013, details the transfer of sums from “HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabber Al Thani (May God Protect Him), Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs” of Qatar, to a long list of significant Muslim Brotherhood members. Sheikh Hamad stepped down from his position late last month along with the Emir of Qatar who -- in a move that shocked the whole region -- suddenly abdicated in favor of his 33-year-old son, Sheikh Tamim. Qatar’s public support for the Morsi regime had already caused anger in Egypt at the Gulf Kingdom, which many believe tried to take advantage of the changes in Egypt to further its own political agenda. Schanzer said the apparent financial corruption would be a natural extension of the political corruption he believes led to Morsi’s ouster. Despite holding office for less than a year, Morsi forced out hundreds of judges and government officials, replacing them with Muslim Brotherhood figures. “That was seen as a manipulation beyond the pale,” said Schanzer. The brazen abuses of the democratic mandate Morsi received just over a year earlier prompted tens of millions of people to take to the streets in protest, and, ultimately, Egypt’s powerful armed forces to step in, he said. But the secret payments flowing in from Qatar as Egypt’s economy crumbled may be related to huge loans the country made to Egypt that were criticized by economists as not being in Egypt’s best interests. Instead of using the funds to restructure debt, the Morsi government simply added to Egypt’s debt burden at interest rates that benefited Qatar, critics said at the time. But if secret payments helped smooth the way for the massive loans from Qatar, it may have backfired. “Qatar has spent billions of dollars in Egypt and at least right now it looks as though this was a bad investment on their part,” Schanzer said.

Has anybody read the book "Memoirs Of Mr. Hempher, The British Spy To The Middle East". It's the story of a British spy of how he managed to have Abdul Wahab, the founder of Wahabi Salafi cult to destroy Islam and corrupt Muslims of Middle East and the rest of the world. The najis seed that Hempher planted, is now grown into this thorney stinky wild bush, maiming and destroying Muslims with thousands of wounds, emotional, physical, and cultural. Among their many crimes, they have destroyed almost all of the relics that belonged to the prophet of Islam, destroyed the houses where prophet, his family, and his friends used to reside. It's an interesting story of deceit, espionage, Sunni gullibility, how Sunnis could be misled into the kufr of wahabism in the absence of a system of marjaiat, how Shias were never deceived thanks to their system of leadership of ulema, and so on. Some eye opening observations and eiman shaking book for Sunnis. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memoirs_Of_Mr._Hempher,_The_British_Spy_To_The_Middle_East
