  1. 1987 Mecca incident From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1987_Mecca_incident Jump to navigationJump to search Coordinates: 21°26′7.18″N 39°49′44.68″E hideThis article has multiple issues. (May 2011) This article may lend undue weight to certain ideas, incidents, or controversies. (June 2011) The 1987 Mecca incident was a clash between Shia pilgrim demonstrators and the Saudi Arabian security forces, during the Hajj pilgrimage; it occurred in Mecca on 31 July 1987 and led to the deaths of over 400 people. The event has been variously described as a "riot" or a "massacre". It arose from escalating tensions between Shia Iran and Wahabbi Saudi Arabia. Since 1981, Iranian pilgrims had held an annual political demonstration against Israel and the United States,[1][2] but in 1987, a cordon of Saudi police and the Saudi Arabian National Guard had sealed part of the planned demonstration route, leading to a confrontation between them and the pilgrims. This escalated into a violent clash, followed by a deadly stampede. There is a controversy regarding the details of the incident, with both Iran and Saudi Arabia laying much of the blame on the other side. Some sources claim the death toll from the incident was 402 people: 275 Iranian pilgrims, 85 Saudi police, and 42 pilgrims from other nationalities.[3] Other sources claim that more than 400 pilgrims had died, and thousands more injured. After the incident, Iranians attacked the Saudi, Kuwaiti and French Embassies, abducting four Saudis from the embassy.[2] Ulrich Wegener (the person that was in charge of attacking to Iranian pilgrims) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to navigationJump to search Ulrich Wegener Born 22 August 1929 Jüterbog, Germany Died 28 December 2017 (aged 88) Windhagen, Germany Allegiance West Germany Service/branch Bundesgrenzschutz Years of service 1952-Retirement Rank Brigadier General Unit GSG 9 Battles/wars World War II Lufthansa Flight 181 Operation Entebbe[1] Awards Commander's Cross of the Federal Cross of Merit Ulrich K. After his retirement from GSG 9 Wegener worked as an advisor for the creation of counter-terrorism units of foreign countries, e.g. in Saudi Arabia.[2] Wegener was a member of the Security Committee.[7] http://sistani1391.blogfa.com/1391/08?p=2 ژنرال اولریخ وگنر، فرمانده نیروهایی امنیتی سعودی در زمان کشتار حجاج ایرانی در سال ۱۳۶۶
  2. This is a nice article about the KSA in the light of history of Islam and current political situation in the region. Saudi Arabia's Great Gamble The detail can be seen at the given link: http://nationalinterest.org/feature/saudi-arabias-great-gamble-23348 wasalam Comments on it are welcome.
  3. If the Saudi was respectful toward Shias, and had an outstanding character, but maybe just a few Wahabi views, this question is directed to both brothers and sisters. One example: Meet Omar Borkan Al Gala Get ready to claw your way through your computer screen, because we've got what you've all been waiting for. Meet Omar Borkan Al Gala. He's a photographer, actor, and poet from Dubai — and he was one of the men kicked out of Saudi Arabia because he's really, really ridiculously good looking.Apr 25, 2013 Meet the Man Deported From Saudi Arabia for Being Too Handsome - [Moderator note: link removed for inappropriate language on linked site.]
  4. (salam) l\Iote: I selected this sub-forum so automatic review by the Mods is in effect. If I made the wrong choice, my apologies and you may move it. As I first heard at 2120EDT BBC News, The Independent and other papers are reporting that a plan is "on" to move the Prophet's (pbuh) grave. A search point I read said, "to al-Baqi". Abu Bakr (ra) and Umar (ra) are also buried their.

  6. You can not mourn for the beloveds of God and Prophet.. It's biddah..!! You can not arrange gatherings to celebrate for birthdays of the Prophets and Imams.. It's biddah..!! But you can dance welcoming of a disbeliever prince.. It's not biddah..!! It is the sunnah..!! Welcome to American 'Islam'..!! to the Saudi 'Royalty'..!! No to fana fillah, fana fil-Muhammad, fana fil-ahlulbayt, fana fil-ikhwan..!! Yes to fana fil-America, fana fil-hegemony..!! 'And whoever among you takes them as guardians and allies- then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.' Quran, 5:51
  7. Just read this disturbing news. Wahabis threatening Shias with murder and rapes at 2013 Hajj. What level has this Saudi "fonicated" money brought the Wahabis/Sunnis down to? La'an on these enemies of Allah and humanity. http://abna.ir/data.asp?lang=3&id=473388
  8. News of the day: Qatar (backed by the west) rewards Hamas for its services against Syria & Iran! Qatar pays Hamas $ 400 million (a terrorist organization on American/European/Israeli list) while the entire west and Zionists are silent and did not react... So what happened to funding and supporting a "terrorist" organization? The answer is clear, they are silent because Hamas/Qatar implemented the Zionist agendas recently, especially in Syria..and these moves are acceptable by the Zionists.. Now they can get the money and receive Emir of Qatar in Gaza with no action or reaction from western or Israeli media... most of them even did not report this trip and Qatar's announced funding. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Qatari emir in historic Gaza visit Sheikh Hamad is the first head of state to visit embattled Palestinian enclave since international blockade imposed. Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the emir of Qatar, has arrived in the Gaza Strip to inaugurate a Qatari investment project worth hundreds of millions of dollars to rebuild the impoverished and overcrowded coastal enclave. "This visit has great political significance," said Hamas government spokesman Taher al-Nunu. Mouin Rabbani, a senior fellow at the Institute of Palestine Studies in Amman, framed the emir's visit as part of a regional power struggle. Hamas had long been headquartered in Syria, but the group has pulled away from Damascus since the start of the uprising against president Bashar al-Assad. "[Qatar] is engaged in a struggle for influence with Syria and Iran in regional terms," he said. "Hamas and Palestine more broadly have significant symbolic value in this context, and Qatar has in fact been instrumental in weaning Hamas away from Damascus." Aljazeera
  9. Syrian Opposition Cleric Al-'Ar'our Appeals to Israel for Help in Treating Wounded Syrians Following are excerpts from an interview with Syrian opposition cleric Sheik Adnan Al-'Ar'our, which aired on Al-Safa TV on February 10, 2012: Interviewer: We've just received the news that Messi, the soccer player, donated money to treat 1,000 wounded [syrians]. This non-Arab player sent a clear message to the Arab League, which has not given money to treat a single wounded person so far. Adnan Al-'Ar'our: Good people, this is shameful, by Allah. Good people, we don't want any weapons from you. All we want is for you to treat the wounded and open up your hospitals. Have your hearts become that cruel? Have you become such cowards? Open up your hospitals. Give us money to buy shrouds. Good people, there is an unwritten law with regard to treating the wounded. I think we should even appeal to Israel. Maybe that would be easier. Perhaps they would give us… If it is possible, we appeal to them to treat the wounded. Interviewer: But would the Syrian army allow the wounded safe passage through the Golan? Adnan Al-'Ar'our: Not, it would not. This Shaytan is the same guy who said that all Allawites should be killed and their bodies should be thrown to the dogs!!!!
