  1. Salaam Alaikum, I had a question please about fasting. Since I started fasting 13 days ago every single day I get gagging (feel to vomit but nothing coming out) throughout the fast 3-4 times a day at least. On Saturday I threw up after my fast and didn’t fast on Monday. I started fasting again yesterday and the same problem is happening. Please can you advise me on what I shall do? Thank you so much.
  2. I reverted to Islam in December 2006. I have been doing ghusl wrong all these years by ignorance, not from laziness. I would make niyyat and wash my body, but never knew I had to wet my hair. So, because of my ignorance, do I have to do over, to make up and redo all my prayers of the past and all my fasts of the months of Ramadhan for the past 6 years? Jazakallah khairan for your answer! (wasalam)
  3. Salam alaykom my brothers and sisters, I have a made an android ramadhan application a couple of years ago and have continually updated it and updated it couple of days ago. The app has the Quran in it and also daily supplications and things to do the nights of alkadr. The app is in Arabic. Please feel to download the application. Name of the app is: ادعية رمضان واعمال ليالي القدر And this is the link to download it on Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.laylatalkader If you do find it helpful, please do share it with your friends and family.
  4. Salaams, This year , Ramadhan has fallen on a very important study and exam period of mine as these exams will determine whether I get into University. Due to this, I haven't been fasting as having water improves my concentration whilst learning. I tried fasting and struggled to concentrate, got very tired and struggled to understand concepts. It was my niyyah to fast this month, and every morning I make an intention to fast, but then break my fast saying it is hard for me to study. I do taqleed of Ayotallah Sistani, who says break the fast when it is unbearable, and I find i
  5. Can a person with type 2 diabetes perform fasting, is it safe to do so? thank you!
  6. Assalamualaikum I want to ask something since I'm still new here in shia Islam. I found soo many good dua in the website that would be good if we recite it on the night of Ramadhan. But I found myself overwhelmed if I have to recite all those dua in one night. Would you recommend what good dua for me?
  7. As-salaamu alaykum, Today I slept past fajr time accidentally in a state of junub, approximately an hour past. It wasn't my intention to sleep at all, however I had simply fallen asleep without intention. My intention was always to do ghusl before fajr time, yet I wasn't able to do this as shown above. Do I now have to pay kaffarah, or simply one qadha fast? Also, is there any chance my fast is still valid considering I did ghusl as soon as I woke up?

  12. Salam. My friend and I are debating whether Kaffarah fasting counts in Ramadan. Basically, if a person breaks an oath, and is not able to: free a slave / feed sixty poor / etc. just as Ramadan is arriving, then do his 3 consecutive fasts count? Regardless of Ramadan fasts being wajib/compulsory?
  13. Salam. What's the best thing to do in your opinion regarding breaking iftar before or after prayers? I thought of doing it after prayers, because otherwise I would lose my concentration (think about the food), and I would also like to read duas etc. which would take like, 15 min extra, and I would delay the sitting with my family. But then we have the talk about "praying on time". Hm.. I don't know what I exactly should do. Maybe pray maghrib first, short duas, and then eat, and then pray again. But, what do you do?

  16. Salaams, I am a follower of Ayatullah Sistani (as). My situation is as follows, I want to attend a protest in the holy month of Ramadan, the venue is 30 miles away and I pray Qasr there. If I leave after Zuhr, and return before Maghrib will my fast be accepted? If it is not accepted, is it Haraam for me to go there? Thanks in advance JazakAllah Khair
  17. (Bismillah) (Salam) I would like to share a Dua daily for the whole month of Ramadhan. If anyone else would like to contribute, please do so. Thank you! The Dua'as I share will need a transliteration, if anyone can, kindly share it So others may benefit. Translation: In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, The Merciful. O Allah, on this day, make my fast the fasts of thos
  18. The Creator has graced us with another month of Ramadan, the greatest month of all. This should remind us of where we were in the last Ramadan and how much progress we have made since then. The sign of an intelligent and wise person is that they analyze their progression every year, every month, and every day of their life. Times like these provide us and facilitate us with an opportunity to re-analyze ourselves. 19. Sunni Brothers, I've a question, please don't get angry or start cursing. This is just a question, I really want to learn. Why Sunnis love the known enemies of the Prophet (pbuh) ? Some examples of Sunnis loving the enemies of Prophet are: 1. Sunnis love Aisha who used to hurt, taunt, hate, waged war on Prophet's Ahlulbayt. 2. Sunnis love Umer who said he will kill the prophet right before he converted. 3. Sunnis love Khalid bin Walid who was the leader of the Kuffar in Battle of Ohud. 4. Sunnis love Muawiah who waged wars on prophet until the conquest of Makkah. 5. Sunnis love Abu Sufyan w
  20. I was reading things online and I am confused about travelling rules and fasting during the month of Ramadhan. Last Monday, I left my house at 10:30am (after fajr) to reach my parents' house around 1:15pm (after zhur), which is about 145 km (90 miles) away from my house. I left my parents' house Tuesday afternoon at 5pm to reach my house at about 7pm. I fasted on both Monday and Tuesday. When I'm at my parents' house, I always offer full prayers. Were my fasts valid or do I have to make them up? What is the limit (km/mi) for it to be considered a travel? Am I supposed to offer shortened prayer
  21. Salam Bros/Sisters, InshaAllah your Ramadhan is blessed. I've been reading various spiritual posts on SC and thought you might have a clue to a few things I wanted to ask about. 1. I try reading Ziarat-e-Ashura daily. Now I want to read Ziarat-e-Ashura for certain days for some special dua to Allah swt. Do you know the procedure? Do I have to say 100 Laan and 100 salams? Does it has to be 40 days? Can it be for say 3 days or 10 days? If one of you have a particular procedure written somewhere, please do share. 2. Those of you who have witnessed one, what ONE specific act which caused you to
  22. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ bi-smi llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm May this Month of Ramadhan [2013] be filled with Allah's blessing's, and full of forgiveness & guidance for you and your family, Insha'Allah. This is one of my favorite English translation's, because of the eloquence in which it was written. THE SERMON GIVEN BY THE PROPHET (S) ON THE LAST FRIDAY OF SHA'BAAN ON THE RECEPTION OF THE MONTH OF RAMADHAN Philosophy and Ahkaam: The following incident has been narrated by al-Saduq on pp. 84-85 of his Al-Amali thus: Muhammad ibn Ibrahim says that Ahmed ibn Muhammad-al
  23. Salamun Alaikum Brothers and Sisters. I had to close my previous youtube channel MAFHHZB for some reasons, but looking at the ongoing onslaught of the Ansars of the Fake Mahdi/Yamani/Imam/Qaim/AllegedSonofHujjatibnHassan(a.s.) on the internet confusing and deviating furthermore people, I regretted having the only stand in video format against their deceits and lies also removed. Hence I have made a new channel and re-uploaded the Series. My research materials or my arguments are not scholars level, I am a laymen, but since no one decided to make anything in media format against their brainwash
