Why Allah uses different names for the fire ? Like sometimes naar, sometimes hutamat ( surah hamza ayat 4) and some times havia(surah alqaria ayat 9)? What is the differnce between these names ?

Allah, is an Arabic word, is the unique name of God.( knowingTujweed( Muslims prefer to use Allah rather than God. Allah is the only God, all-powerful and all-knowing creator, sustainer, ordainer and judge of the universe. He is unique (wahid) and inherently one (ahad), all-merciful and omnipotent. Allah says in Al Quran about him: (O Esteemed Messenger!) Proclaim: ‘He is Allah, Who is the One. Allah is the Transcendent of all, the Protector and Far-Superior to all. He has not begotten any, nor is He begotten. Nor is there anyone equal to Him.’ (Al Quran 112: 1-4) I

COMPANIONS OF PROPHET ﷺ) In Islam, the Sahāba were the companions of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). This form is plural, the singular is Sahābi, which is Arabic for "friend, companion." Definitions of Companion Anyone who saw Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) in his lifetime, believed in his teachings, and died as a Muslim to be a Companion or Ṣahābi. Lists of prominent Companions usually run to fifty or sixty names, being the people most closely associated with Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). It was important to identify the Comp

The topic doesn't imply 'Putting yourself before others'. Altruism is a beautiful virtue; not many possess, but the great ones did. What's as important or perhaps even more important than putting others before yourself, is to improve your own-self before doing so. It should be kept in mind that the one who's drowning can't save the others, who're drowning. The one who's sick, cannot properly heal other sick ones. Someone gave a good example of how they ask you to "Put your own oxygen mask before assisting others" on an airplane during the safety walk-through. It's for the same reason

It is clear that having sufficient knowledge is necessary to have an Ideal life. On the other hand, when a man is born, he/she does not know anything and needs to be educated. Hence, one of the most important persons in a society is the teacher. A teacher teaches required things to the student and guides him/her to the right way. Teacher is able to instruct the customs of life to his/her student and ensure his/her future. And also teacher can prevent his/her student from slip and mistake. Due to this high position of a teacher, the sacred religion of Islam gives directives about the plac

Salamun Alaykum! If I were to potentially create a Whatsapp group for people like me, who: -love Arabic Latimiya -do not always manage to understand them fully, how many of you would be willing to join? It would involve two kinds of people: 1. people like me, and 2. people who are fluent in Arabic and can help us! The first type of people would ask questions regarding meanings of words/phrases in Latimiyaat (not necessarily, but let's start there) and the second category would help with that. The group would aim not to waste anyone's time and so we

My name is Carol, and I belong to a Christian family. I've always disliked the way the Christians taught about God, and became an Atheist about a year and a half ago. But I've always been drawn to Islam, and my lover has given me the little push I needed to start learning about it. He can't answer all my questions, as we live half a world apart right now, so I'm looking for others who can teach me what I need to know before officially becoming Muslim. I can learn most things by myself, but I need some suggestions on what to research and learn about before making my decision. Thanks in advance.

Asalaam Alaikum brothers and sisters. I was wondering if anyone could share what they believed was the best way to learn Arabic (formal classes, certain websites, software, etc.). Help from those who had to learn Arabic as another language would be much appreciated! I am thinking of buying Rosetta Stone arabic (since it teaches you more formal), though it is rather expensive. All advice would be great, thank you!

Salaam all, So I am a student. I feel like I have this block. I feel as if I don't have the capability to be successful in my project and general reading. When I want to read, I feel like I need to know everything. It is just overwhelming me. So much so that I can't open my work and just want to run away from it. I have a major exam in exactly one month, and a deadline for my research project mid month. I don't feel that I know my subject well and just really want to know and understand it. pleeasee someone give me some tips or something

Salaam alaikum brothers and sisters! First, let me thank the kind and knowledgeable people here on ShiaChat. Alhamdulillah, I have made the leap and reverted to the Shi'a school, but I have miles to go still. Inshallah, I want to take it to the next level; I feel like I need to learn to read Qur'an in Arabic and I want to be able to read and understand scholarly writings in their original tongue. I guess what I'm saying is that I want to learn as much about the best Deen as I can. A kind member mentioned that there are several teachers and Hawza students here, but I am a bit shy about mes

Assalamu Alaykum everyone- I would love to attend howza. I live in the United States and there is one Howza in the state I live but not close enough to attend and still work full-time. I am looking for an online howza where you can work towards a degree and where it's either free or maybe no more than $1000 a year. There are online Sunni schools like this (free/low cost for example IOU) but I am having a hard time finding Shia online schools that are free or low cost. Any information that can be shared would be greatly appreciated! Shukran.

Salam everyone I need help with something that gets me frustrated and takes up a lot of my time, when learning about Islam I tend to research for hours about different topics and I end up looking up to much information that it gets me stressful and I don't feel like I learnt anything. So instead, can people tell me what good topics to research and learn about that will help me learn more efficiently rather than going from this to that and getting no where. I don't really know what I should be learning about so any suggestions that people think are good to start with will be good. If it helps,

Hello all, I need some guidance and information with the questions or points i'm going to list. I am part of a Muslim family and always was a Muslim but I was the kind of Muslim that just said he was. I pretended to fast, didn't pray, did forbidden acts (not intercourse), etc. I really don't know what hit me because all of a sudden I just started learning about Islam and praying. It was kind of weird and I still don't know how or why that happened. Anyway I have been learning and "fixing up" since the start of this month but there are issues that I need help with. Prayers - I am trying to reme
