What should the Shia do during the ghaybat (occultation) of the Imam (عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف)? 1. Imam Jafar Sadiq (asws) says, “When this happens then attach yourself to the first Imam until such time as it becomes clear who the next Imam is’.” (Biharul Anwar vol 11 pg no 671) 2. Imam Jafar Sadiq (asws) says, “When such a time comes and you cannot meet your Imam (عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف), then keep acting upon those orders which are already with you.” (Biharul Anwar vol 11 pg no 672) 3. Imam Jafar Sadiq (asws) says, “You should keep living in the same way that you have been until such time as the ‘Saahib Ul Amr’(Final Authority) makes His appearance’. (Biharul Anwar vol 11 pg no 672) 4. Imam Jafar Sadiq (asws) says, “You should remain on what you have until such time as Allah makes the star rise”. (Biharul Anwar vol 11 pg no 673) 5. Imam Jafar Sadiq (asws) says, “Remain steadfast on what you were given from before until such time as Allah sends the ‘Saahib Ul Amr’.” (Biharul Anwar vol 11 pg no 674) If two hadiths contradict each other then what should we do? 1. In His Toqee, Imam e Zamana (عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف) writes in a reply to a question that was asked of Him, “When two momins dispute regarding an issue and each produces a specific hadith, then what should they do? Imam (عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف) replied, “Follow one of them with the intention that you are following the orders of Masoomeen (asws) and not with the intention that you prefer one saying over the other.” (Al Kafi Kitab e Aql chapter 22 hadith 7) 2. Narrator says, “I asked Imam Jafar Sadiq (asws), “‘If we receive a Hadith from the First Imam (asws) and also Imam Zainul Abideen (asws) or any of the Imams (asws) after Him, which one should we follow?’ The Imam (asws) replied, “Act upon the words of the Latest until such time as you receive a different order from the Imam (asws) of that time. When it comes from a living Imam, follow his words.’ The Imam (asws) then said, ‘We by Allah wish for the religion to be an ease for you.’ (Al Kafi Kitab e Aql chapter 22 hadith 9) If we cannot find an order from Masoomeen (asws) regarding a specific act then what shall we do? 1. Imam Jafar Sadiq (Asws) says, “ Restraint in confusing matters is better than indulging in destruction.’” (Al Kafi Kitab e Aql chapter 22 hadith 10) 2. Ameerul Momineen (asws) says, “Allah has made certain things wajib upon you, do not waste them. Allah has set limits for you, do not try to cross them. Allah has ordered you to refrain from certain things, do not disobey Him. Those things He did not issue an order regarding, it is not as if He forgot to do so, so do not try to know about them”. (Najul Balagha pg no 835 saying no 105) 3. Imam e Zamana (عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف) wrote in one of His Toqee: ‘Therefore close the doors to those questions that do not concern you, and try to find out about those things which you need. And keep praying more and more for My reappearance as in this there is betterment for you’. (Bihar Ul Anwar Vol. 12 pg no 778) 4. Imam Muhammad Baqir (asws) says, “ “Holding back in an uncertain condition is better than indulging in a destructive situation. Your not narrating a Hadith is better than narrating one about which you are uncertain.” (Al Kafi Kitab e Aql chapter 17 hadith no 9)

Salam, brothers/ sisters! I was researching a bit and i found this youtube video where the narrator talks about an instance where the Ayatullah met Imam e zamana(a.s) and the imam(ajtf) gave him some council/advices LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NIiYwsKHNQ The video is in urdu so i will briefly translate the major points told my the imam(a.s) in the video for people who donot know the language. 1) Recitation of the Holy Quran 2) Ziarat ( Pilgrimage ) of the Shrines of the Imams(a.s) and their Aal ( i.e imam zadeh ) as well. 3) Respect for the Saadat ( Sayyeds ) 4) Serving/ your parents ( Whether dead or alive ) 5) Putting an aqeeq stone in the mouth of the dead body that has the names of the 14 masoomeens(a.s) engraved on it 6) Performing the 5 prayers in congregation 7) Researching Fiqh, hadees, and their tafseer. 8) Research Of nahjul balagah and Sahifa e sajjadiya and their memorization The narrator gives the reference of a book titled " Qabasaat " authored by Ayatollah Najafi himself in which the ayt has narrated the whole incident. I want to know if there exists an english version of the book. Secondly, i would love to read further incidents where Ayatollahs have met the imam(a.s). In haidth it has been narrated "Person dies without knowing Imam of his time Dies a life of ignorant". What is to know IMAM OF YOUR TIME ?. Does that only mean all we need to know is that IMAM OUR TIME is in GAIB and he is 12th one THE MEHDI ?. It would be great if someone can explain what is exactly meant to KNOW IMAM OF OUR TIME ?

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته It has been said that one of the signs before Imam Medhi(Aj) is the Yemani rising in Yemen to defeat the Sufyani in Syria. There are a few theories I have heard of: 1. Scholars suggest that the only authentic hadiths in regards to the precursors before Imam al Mehdi(Aj) is the callings from the skies. (I have heard that one of these scholars was Sayed Khoi). 2. There is too much evidence to deny it. Yemen that is poor and has nothing compared to Saudi Arabia is winning against them to the extent that they have destroyed some of their bases. Turkey is also gathering terrorists in Syria to try destabilise it(apparently there is a Hadith that shows Turkey involved with destabilising Syria) and others. 3. ^ From this there are 2 theories - 1. The Yemenis are doing this themselves and the Tyrannical Terrorists. 2. The Yemenis are taking orders from the Yemani that has not yet declared himself but he is here, the Sufyani is giving orders and is behind the terrorists and the objective to destabilise Syria in order for himself to rein. 4. Leave it to Allah Swt if it happens it happens if it doesn't it doesn't. 5. As Muslims we shouldn't deny evidence and should be aware if something is going to happen or not. 6. Salam Bros/Sisters, InshaAllah your Ramadhan is blessed. I've been reading various spiritual posts on SC and thought you might have a clue to a few things I wanted to ask about. 1. I try reading Ziarat-e-Ashura daily. Now I want to read Ziarat-e-Ashura for certain days for some special dua to Allah swt. Do you know the procedure? Do I have to say 100 Laan and 100 salams? Does it has to be 40 days? Can it be for say 3 days or 10 days? If one of you have a particular procedure written somewhere, please do share. 2. Those of you who have witnessed one, what ONE specific act which caused you to receive the noor of Allah swt? Was it your Istighfar or Shukr or Salat or any particula Dua that you read every day, or your lowering your gaze, or your some particualr civil service? Thanks for reading and responding.
