  1. So Abu Bakr went upto Hassan and Imam Husayn (ASWS) and they where children rather they were playing (Abu Bakr was a bit older But still played alongside) then Al Hasnain (ASWS) you are our slave so do as we say (or something like that God forgive me if i'm wrong) so like just how kids play kings and other stuff today too). So then Abu Bakr went home to his father and told him what they (ASWS) said then his father said "This is great news please just get them to write down this statement for they are the kings, leaders of heaven" so he went and got it written down so HIS father was overjoyed
  2. This is the latest documentary on our beloved Imam Hussain (عليه السلام) made by two Christian travelers to Karbala. Pastor John Shuck and cameraman Josh Townsley were invited to make the 3 day Arbaeen trip from Najaf to Karbala in Iraq by Husayniah Islamic Society of Seattle, WA in 2018. Husayniah sponsored the entire trip but did not interfere in the production. The film is therefore an independent review of the amazing Karbala walk by these two Christian pilgrims.
  3. I am a sunni and would like to ask all Shia a question. I have not come with any bad intention and do not want to cause hatred. I just want to know why Shias believe the Imams are infallible and where in the quran does it say that? My second and more important question is why do Shias believe imams have all knowledge? Where does it say that in a quran or hadith? In fact our holy prophet (saw) said that he doesn't even have all knowledge? Finally if they have all knowledge then doesn't that mean imam husain commited suicide?
  4. When we examine the political thought of Islam, we see two words; legitimacy and acceptance. It means an Imam and leader for a society has to have two things for establishing his government. the legitimacy from Allah and acceptance from people. At first he should be appointed by Allah and then people request him to establish the government. For example the Imam ali(as) was appointed by Allah, but he hadn't accepted by the people. So he hadn't any duty to establish Islamic government and when people approached him to accept it, it became obligatory upon him. So in the movement of Imam Husain(as
  5. Bahadur Shah Zafar and Hazrat Mahal- Devotees of Imam Husain in Exile?By Dr.Mazhar Naqvi Bahadur Shah Zafar and Begum Hazrat Mahal, two great devotees of Imam Husain and frontline leaders of India’s First war of Independence remain buried in foreign lands. It is indeed unfortunate and tragic. Both of them had tremendous affection for their homeland and they had challenged the British supremacy to liberate India from their clutches. Bahadur Shah had got a grave dug out for his burial at Mehrauli in New Delhi but he was laid to rest in Burmese capital Yangon (Earlier known as Rangoon) where he
  6. Imam Husain Says: "Some people worship God coveting his rewards. This is worship of merchants. Some people worship God, fearing His punishments. This is worship of slaves. Some people worship God, thanking His blessings. This is worship of the free superior persons". Some people worships God, because they fear of God's punishments. It is the worship of merchants, but it doesn’t mean that this kind of worshiping is meaningless. Actually worshiping like everything has different and prefect levels. The worship of merchants isn’t the prefect one. They are seeking interest like merchants. The secon
  7. What is the role of people in the Imam Husain's uprising? While Imam Husain (s.a) understood that people of Kufa changed their Allegiance, he didn’t change his objection and continued his uprising?
  8. Salams my dear Muslim brothers and sisters and all who stand up for justice regardless of their religious background.... Allah, the Creator of the universe is against oppression. This is what Allah says about justice.... Does even one person on this forum want to be ruled by a nonMuslim dictatorship regime when most of the population are Muslim believers? No one wants to have their lives dictated by a dictatorship including everyone who is against the freedom for Syrians on this forum. O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah , even if it be again
