I am 20 yrs old and I have got a late diagnosis as an adult of autism. I struggle with verbal and non-verbal communication, keeping conversations going (small talk) , making friends and I'm usually very silent and isolated. When meeting guests and people I usually just give greetings then go very silent or very occasionally say something. Especially since I have trouble keeping up with conversations, processing everything and even understanding the banter/humor. I can come off as aloof, odd or even rude. How much am I held accountable for my akhlaq, not having friendships, not giving the best social impression etc. I always read hadith like this.... "Unfortunate is he who cannot gain a few sincere friends during his life and more unfortunate is the one who has gained them and then lost them (through his deeds)." ALI IBN ABI TALIB ((عليه السلام)) Would it be wrong for me to not want to ever meet guests and stay in my room instead?

So here we are at that point of time where we boast our belief and take pride in our leaders - Eid-e-Ghadeer. Let's see things from a Sunni's perspective. String s1= Ghadeer_Event; String replaceString=s1.replace('Master','Friend'); //replaces all occurrences of 'Master' to 'Friends' in Ghadeer Event. 1. Jibraeel (عليه السلام) came to Holy Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) when he was in Al-Mina and said:... Raise him (Ali) as a guiding flag for people, remind and renew people’s covenant and pledge about adhering to the authorized representative of Mine and the Friend of every believing man and woman, Ali Ibn Abi Talib ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم))... 2. Three times did Gabriel command me on behalf of the Peace, my Lord, Who is the source of all peace, to thus make a stand in order to inform everyone, black and white, that: Ali ibn Abu Talib is my Brother, Wasi, and successor over my nation and the Imam after me, the one whose status to me is like that of Aaron to Moses except there will be no prophet after me, and he is your Friend next only to Allah and to His Messenger. (From Holy Prophet's (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sermon at Ghadeer) 3. “O people! Comprehend (the implications of) what I have just said, and again do comprehend it, and be (further) informed that Allah has installed him (Ali) as your Friend and Imam, obligating the Muhajirun and the Ansar and those who follow them in goodness to obey him...(From Holy Prophet's (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sermon at Ghadeer) 4. listen and obey, and submit to the Command of Allah, your Lord, for Allah, the Exalted and the Sublime One, is your Friend and Lord, then next to Him is His Messenger and Prophet who is now addressing you, then after me 'Ali is your Friend and Imam according to the Command of Allah... (From Holy Prophet's (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sermon at Ghadeer) 5. Whoever among you takes me as his Friend, this, Ali is his Friend, and he is Ali ibn Abu Talib, my Brother and wasi, and his appointment as your wali is from Allah...(From Holy Prophet's (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sermon at Ghadeer) 6. Their Prophet on the Ghadeer Day calls on them all At Khumm, how great the Prophet is when he does call! He said, “Who is your Friend and Wali?” They said, showing on that day no hostility, “Our Friend is our God while our Wali is you, You shall find today none to disobey you.” He said to him, “Stand up, O Ali, for I did find “You to be and Imam after me and a guide.” (Poetry of Hassan bin Thabit after Prophet's declared Ali as Friend) 7. Then, he ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)&HF) said: “Behold! Whosoever I am his Friend, this Ali is his Friend. O Allah! Stay firm in supporting those who stay firm in following him, be hostile to those who are hostile to him, help those who help him, and forsake those who forsake him... (From Holy Prophet's (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sermon at Ghadeer) 8. Bakhin, O son of Abu Talib, this morning you became Friend of every believing man and woman.'' - Omar bin al-Khattab. Became Friend this morning (10 AH)? 9. Conclusion - Jibraeel (عليه السلام) came 3 times to Holy Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) with this message from Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى), Holy Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) stopped 100k+ tired Muslims in the middle of nowhere in extreme heat for 3 days to announce after a long sermon - 'People, Ali is your Friend' and then asked everyone to shake hands and tell him they friends now. 10. All hajis after reaching home - Wife - honey, you're 3 days late. Haji - ya, Muhammad made us stop. We are now friends with Ali.

Asalaam Alaykum, I have a question regarding gambling. One of my friend is using the investment app called Plus500. Basically this app is online marketing. You could pay them money and invest in oil, bitcoin, money, zilver, gold etc. Does anyone have any familiarity with this app? Is this considered gambling? I am very worried about my friend and like to help her out. Thank you, Sara

I want to introduce you all to my man Frigo He drives fast cars with pretty girls in the back Frigo always means business, Evolving like pokemon he got me pokemon for christmas, Frigo was my past, present and future, I told him I can’t see but he told me to stay persistent, He told me me to live for now and not worry about what’s distant, Frigo was my leader not an assistant and was gifted, Gifting me with unquenchable desires that I chase at a pace I can’t control, Frigo only drives fast cars with pretty girls in the back, I’m young but I believe in Frigo, he’s so youthful, I serve this world in no way but Frigo says I’m useful, I mean he’s was always there in my mind, Always giving me his time injecting me with promises which, I really hope aren’t lies He’s been there in times my where I thought I was doing wrong but he told me I was doing fine, Frigo feeds me all the knowledge anyone could ever ask for, I’m on this never landing flight and he’s holding onto my passport, The adrenaline I felt is what he calls my medicine, To keep adding on and never settle in, More is never enough, Frigo tells me that greed is a synonym for tough, Cause it’s a dog eat dog world and you gotta make the loudest woof, Frigo’s bark is loudest of them all, I can feel it within me like a hungry stomach suffering from starvation, Only this is hunger worse, Because even if I’ve eaten enough I’ll start to feel it like extreme thirst, I tell Frigo I must stop but he whispers in my ear, Convinces me to follow him once more, He tells me tomorrow I can stop and I never have to see him again, But then I wake up the next morning looking for my friend, Frigo tells me this is all life has to offer, He tells me giving is synonym for weakness, Give me all your time I’m giving you completeness, But I couldn’t do it anymore, and no whispering shall convince me, He smiled at me, began to rub his golden belly, He said I can make life so much easier if you’d just let me, Staring into his eyes the golden eyeballs with diamonds in his pupils, I look even deeper I can see his disapproval, The optics of the diamond through his pupil flickers a light that never seems to shine bright, This light that blinds my eyes like clouds blocking us from seeing the clear blue sky, I, ask Frigo why his light never fully shines, He says this light isn't mine, The diamond you see in my pupil, is a reflection of what I see in your eyes, The closer I looked into the diamond I could see, That the flickering light in Frigo's eyes, was me, He tells me he's not here to stop me from greed He's not going to stop telling me giving is for the weak, He's not the one who will put me on track, Frigo only drives fast cars, with pretty girls in the back, I locked Frigo up and swallowed the key, Giving is a synonym for tough, And greed is a synonym for weakness, I had to control my Frigo, I had to control my free-ego

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Assalamu alaykum, My friend once told me that he views me as a best friend and he calls 3 other people his best friend. I told him I would never be able to have him as a best friend, not because he's a bad person or there is anything wrong, but because I believe you only have one best friend - that's why it's called best friend(singular) I also told him I don't know if I am being too idealistic in this world, but this is what I see in friends and ranks: 1. Best friend 2. Close friend 3. Good friend 4. Friend 5. Acquaintance He of course is not offended and completely understands however... Am I being too idealistic in this dunya? Is this realistic? Islamic? I would be grateful for all your ideas. JazakAllah.

Now a days, everyone we talk to daily or spend most of our time with, we call them our friends without knowing who a friend actually is. Also, I've seen many people say that there aren't any real friends left in this world. Let's say there aren't; then, couldn't we try to be the real one? What do the ahadith tell us about friends? According to them, are we really a good friend to others? Prophet (pbuh) said, Man follows the same creed as his friend, so consider carefully who it is you befriend. [Amali al Tusa, p. 518, #1135] Imam Ali (as) said, He who lacks a friend, lacks a necessity. [ibid, #8760] Imam Ali (as) said, Souls resemble other souls. Those that resemble each other are in harmony, that is why people are attracted towards those they resemble. [bihar al Anwar, p. 92, #100] Imam Al Sadiq (as) said, Do not call a man your friend with the true stamp of friendship until you have tested him in 3 matters: Anger him so that you may see if his anger takes him away from right to wrong; test him with dinar & dirham; & travel with him. [Amali Al Tusi, p.646, #1339] Imam Ali (as) said, Beware of befriending corrupt people, immoral people & those who openly commit acts of disobedience to Allah. [ibid, #2601] Imam Ali (as) said, The friend of an ignorant man is always wearied & miserable. [ibid, #5829] Imam Ali (as) said to Imam Hassan (as), O my son! Beware of befriending a stupid friend for although he will try to benefit you, he will only bring you trouble. [ibid, #35] Imam Ali (as) said, He who penetrates deeply into his friend's affairs, his love for him comes to an end. [Ghurar al Hikam, #8582] Imam Ali (as) said, Shower all your love on your friend but do not shower all your trust on him. [bihar al Anwar, p.165, #29] Imam Zayn al Abidin (as) said, The right of your companion is that you share his company with bounty & fairness. You should honor him like he honors you & should not let him be the first to extend generosity. & if he is the first to do so, then repay him. Wish for him as he wishes for you & restrain him from every act of disobedience that he might contemplate. Be a mercy for him & not a chastisement. [bihar al Anwar, p.7, #1] Imam Al Sadiq (as) said, Friendship can only succeed when its conditions are fulfilled & he who fulfills all or some of these conditions may be befriended, & if not, then do not attribute any of your friendship to him. The first of these conditions is that he should treat you in public as he treats you in private. Secondly, that you source of pride is the source of pride for him too. Thirdly, that neither his friendship (with others) nor wealth should render him envious of you. Fourthly, that he must not prevent you from obtaining that which you have the capacity for, & fifthly - & this sums up all other qualities - that he must not give up on you in times of misfortune. [ibid,p.249, #90] In case I typed something wrong or gave wrong reference, please correct me.

Salam alakum brothers and sisters :-) Again I will start by saying that i Live in Denmark, so you all will understand the context. Today at school me and my friend which is from palestine, had an argument. We all know that when you drink alcohol, your prayers wont be accepted for 40 days. He told me that it DOESNT count for marijuana/weed/hash. Which i disagree because we had studies that shows, marijuana stays in your blood for 30-40 days. Can you help me win this argument, and please some references/sources would be great :) Salam.

(bismillah) There is a common phenomena in our society where teenagers lend money to their friends in small amounts for buying a piece of candy, or some other object. At a later time, the lendee says that they want to pay back, however, the lender says that the amount of money is little and is not significant or either the lendee himself considers it insignificant. In this scenario, I raise many questions; 1) When the lender declares that the money they lent is little to be significant. a) How should the other person act? Should they force them to accept the money? b ) Are they blamed for not giving the money? c) Is this kind of loan in Islam acceptable? and is it even considered a loan? 2) When the lendee perhaps considers that the money is too little to be paid back . a) Can the other person ask for his money back even if it is little? Is this considered stinginess? b ) Should a person give a time limit as to when it should be paid back even if it is little? Forgive my ignorance to these questions, but this subject is a blank in my mind. If you can also direct me to a book that is considered with such topics or lectures, it would be very helpful. Thank you for your answers Wassalam
