  2. Assuming that we accept that Hadrat Fatimah [AS] was mad at Abu-Bakr and Umar for a while, but it’s been proved that they went to Hadrat “Fatimah” [AS] in the last days of her life and got her consent; as “Al-Bayhaqi” and others have said: “عن الشعبي قال لما مرضت فاطمة أتاها أبو بكر الصديق فأستئذن عليها فقال علي يا فاطمة هذا أبو بكر يستئذن عليك فقالت أتحب أن أأذن؟ قال نعم فأذنت له فدخل عليها يترضاها وقال والله ما تركت الدار والمال والأهل والعشيرة إلا لإبتغاء مرضاة الله ومرضاة رسوله ومرضاتكم أهل البيت ثم ترضاها حتي رضيت” When Fatimah [AS] got ill, “Abu-Bakr” went to her asking forgiveness and wanted to visit her, “Ali” [AS] said to “Fatimah” [AS]: “Abu-Bakr” wants to visit you, Fatimah [AS] said: do you like him to enter? Ali [AS] said: yes I do, so “Fatimah” [AS] let him to enter, “Abu-Bakr” entered and said: swear by god, I didn’t leave my home, relatives and wealth; unless to gain the satisfaction of god and his messenger and you the prophet [(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)]’s “Ahl al-Bayt” {people of the house}, then”Fatimah” [AS] forgave him. Al-Bayhaqi, “reasons of prophecy”- v7, p281 Reviewing: Hadrat “Fatimah” [AS]’s dissatisfaction of “Abu-Bakr” and “Umar” questions the foundation of the legitimacy of their caliphate because it proves that prophet [(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)]’s daughter the best lady of two worlds disagreed with the caliphate of “Abu-Bakr” and “Umar” and was mad at them and according to valid narratives which are written in Sunni most valid books either, “Fatimah” [AS]’s consent is prophet [(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)]’s consent and her anger is Prophet [(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)]’s anger. That’s why Sunni scholars didn’t sit idly by and faked a narrative to prove that after making prophet [(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)]’s daughter upset, “Abu-Bakr” and “”Umar” visited her in the last days of her life and asked her forgiveness and “Fatimah” [AS] forgave them! Note: “Mursal” Hadith: Narration that some of its narrators’ names {one or more} have been deleted in its document. In response we say: Firstly: the document of this narration is “Mursal”; because “Sha’bi” is one of “TABI'IN” {someone who has met companions of prophet [(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)] not prophet} and didn’t witness this event and this narrative has the same fault that Sunnis find with the narration of “Al-Baladhuri” and “Tabari”. Secondly: assuming that “Mursal” narratives quoted by “TABI'IN” are accepted but we can’t accept “Sha’bi’s narrative because he was amongst commander of faithful [(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)]’s enemy and “Nasibi” {the one who insults “ahl al-Bayt”} as “Al-Baladhuri” and “Ghazali” has quoted from “Sha’bi”: “عن مجالد عن الشعبي قال: قدمنا علي الحجاج البصرة، وقدم عليه قراء من المدينة من أبناء المهاجرين والأنصار، فيهم أبو سلمة بن عبد الرحمن بن عوف رضي الله عنه... وجعل الحجاج يذاكرهم ويسألهم إذ ذكر علي بن أبي طالب فنال منه ونلنا مقاربة له وفرقاً منه ومن شره....” Me and some other guys went to “Hajjaj” in “Basra” province, a group of “Medina” Quran reciters from migrants and companions was there and “Abu Salamah bin Abd al-Rahman bin ‘Awf” was amongst them either. “Hajjaj” was talking to them, he talked about “Ali bin Abu-Talib” and insulted him and to make “Hajajj” happy and saving our life we insulted “Ali” [AS] as well…. “Al-Baladhuri”-Ansab al-Ashraf-v 4, p 315 Can be a narrative quoted by a “Nasibi” valid? Hadrat “Fatimah” [AS]’s dissatisfaction of “Abu-Bakr” in Sunni’s most valid Books “Fatimah” [AS]’s anger toward “Abu-Bakr” is quite clear and inevitable, “Bukhari” has said about “Fatimah” [AS]’s continuous anger toward “Abu-Bakr”: “فَغَضِبَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ رسول اللَّهِ صلي الله عليه وسلم فَهَجَرَتْ أَبَا بَكْرٍ فلم تَزَلْ مُهَاجِرَتَهُ حتي تُوُفِّيَتْ” “Fatimah” the daughter of prophet was mad at “Abu-Bakr” and this anger continued till she died. “Al-Bukhari”- Sahih Bukhari- v 3, p 1126 “فَوَجَدَتْ فَاطِمَةُ علي أبي بَكْرٍ في ذلك فَهَجَرَتْهُ فلم تُكَلِّمْهُ حتي تُوُفِّيَتْ” “Fatimah” was mad at “Abu-bakr” and didn’t talk to him till she passed away. “Al-Bukhari Ju’fi”- Sahih bukhari- v4, p1549 “فَهَجَرَتْهُ فَاطِمَةُ فلم تُكَلِّمْهُ حتي مَاتَتْ” “Fatimah” didn’t talk to “Abu-Bakr” and didn’t face him till she died. “Al-Bukhari Ju’fi”- Sahih Bukhari- v 6, p 2474 And it’s written in another narrative that when “Abu-Bakr” and “Umar” went to visit Hadrat “Fatimah” [AS], she didn’t let them to enter and they had to ask commander of faithful [AS] and he mediated, in response Hadrat “Fatimah” [AS] said: “البيت بيتك” It means: dear Ali, here is your home and you can let anyone that you want to enter , “Ali” [AS] let them in till they don’t make excuse saying that we want to ask her to forgive us but “Ali” didn’t let us. When they apologized, Hadrat “Fatimah”[AS] didn’t accept and said: “نشدتكما الله ألم تسمعا رسول الله يقول «رضا فاطمة من رضاي وسخط فاطمة من سخطي فمن أحب فاطمة ابنتي فقد أحبني ومن أ رضي فاطمة فقد أرضاني ومن أسخط فاطمة فقد أسخطني” I swear you to god, didn’t you two hear of Prophet [(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)] who said: “Fatimah” [AS]’s satisfaction is my consent and her anger is my anger. Anyone who likes and respects my daughter “Fatimah” it’s as if he’s respected me and anyone who makes her happy or upset it’s as if he’s made me happy or upset. Both of them confessed and said: yes we did: “نعم سمعناه من رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم” Then Hadrat “Fatimah” [AS] said: “فإني أشهد الله وملائكته أنكما أسخطتماني وما أرضيتماني ولئن لقيت النبي لأشكونكما إليه” God almighty and angels are witness that you two bothered me and made me upset and I’ll complain of you to god. “والله لأدعون الله عليك في كل صلاة أصليها” Swear to god, I curse you in my prayers. “Muslim ibn Qutayba” – Imamate and policy- v1, p17 Thus, how can we believe that Hadrat “Fatimah” [AS] forgave them? Is the narrative that “Al-Bayhaqi” has quoted is in priority or the narrative that “Bukhari” has quoted? On the other hand “Al-Bayhaqi” was commander of faithful [AS]’s enemy and he didn’t witness that event. Furthermore, if Hadrat “Fatimah” [AS] she had forgiven them why she willed to be buried nightly and neither of those who had bothered her aren’t notified attending her funeral and saying prayer for her? “Muhammad Ismael Bukhari” writes: “وَعَاشَتْ بَعْدَ النبي صلي الله عليه وسلم سِتَّةَ أَشْهُرٍ فلما تُوُفِّيَتْ دَفَنَهَا زَوْجُهَا عَلِيٌّ لَيْلًا ولم يُؤْذِنْ بها أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَصَلَّي عليها” “Fatimah” lived six months after prophet and when she died her husband “Ali” buried her nightly without notifying “Abu-Bakr” and he himself said prayer for her {requiescat}. “Al-Bukhari Ju’fi”- Sahih Bukhari, v4, p 1549 “ibn Qutayba al-Dīnawarī” says: “وقد طالبت فاطمة رضي الله عنها أبا بكر رضي الله عنه بميراث أبيها رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم فلما لم يعطها إياه حلفت لا تكلمه أبدا وأوصت أن تدفن ليلا لئلا يحضرها فدفنت ليلا” “Fatimah” asked “Abu-Bakr” to give her father’s inheritance and when “Abu-Bakr” refused to do so, she vowed not to talk to him and willed to be buried at night till “Abu-Bakr” wouldn’t attend her funeral. “ibn Qutayba al-Dīnawarī”- Ta’vil mukhtalaf al-Hadith- v 1, p 300 And “Abd al-Razzaq al-San‘ani” writes: “عن بن جريج وعمرو بن دينار أن حسن بن محمد أخبره أن فاطمة بنت النبي صلي الله عليه وسلم دفنت بالليل قال فر بها علي من أبي بكر أن يصلي عليها كان بينهما شيء” It’s been quoted from “Hassan bin Muhammad” that Fatimah” the daughter of prophet [(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)] was buried at night till “Abu-Bakr” wouldn’t say requiescat for her; because she was mad at him. And he says in continue: “عن بن عيينة عن عمرو بن دينار عن حسن بن محمد مثله الا أنه قال اوصته بذلك” “Fatimah” willed to be buried at night. “al-San‘ani”- al-Musanef- v 3, p 521 Of course, it is possible that someone may say: Abu Bakr later regretted and repented. In response, it should be said: Repentance is useful and valuable when it is accompanied by remorse for the deep desire of a person. And on the other hand, to compensate for the past, meaning that the person who repents for the violated rights; Whether it is divine or human, he will make up for it all. Now our question is, did Abu Bakr bring Fadak back to Hazrat Fatima (عليه السلام), so that his repentance would be the repentance of advice and be accepted by God? Conclusion: “Fatima” [AS]’s anger towards “Abu-Bakr” and “Umar” continued till end of her life and her dissatisfaction of them are amongst matters that are written in Sunni most authentic books after “Quran” and the narrative quoted by “Al-Bayhaqi” that shows that “Fatimah” [AS] forgave them is invalid because of the presence of a “Nasibi {the enemy of Ahl al-Bayt} in the document of narrative. wa salaam
  3. Name: Fatima Title: Al Zahra Born: Friday 20th of Jamadi-ul-Akhar in Mecca Father's Name: Holy Prophet Muhammad Ibn-e-Abdulla صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم Mother's Name: Khadija bint-e-Khuwailid Died: 13th Jamadi-ul-Awwal at Medina at the age of 18 years (due to injury inflicted upon her through force of a falling door). Buried: The cemetery of Jannatul Baqi at Medina
  4. Her Name is Fatima An orphan is the name of a child who lost his mother, But what is the name of a mother who loses a child? Crushed between the door and the wall along with the souls of Hassanain, Robbed of her child, her right, her husband's, she fights through the pain. Her name is Fatima. The one whose essence mankind will never reach, For God Himself has shielded her with a protection that none can breach, Mistress of my soul and the women of the worlds, With her name and her hand the secret of this life unfurls, The strength of my heart and the strength of Haidar, The strength of the lion who conquered Khaybar, For who else can converse with such beauty and power, Fight the usurpers after the loss of Mohsen, the wilted flower? Her name is az-Zahra, the radiant light, illuminating a path, For those who want to see and be away from God's wrath, For he who angers az-Zahra has evoked the Messenger's displeasure, And no doubt, God's own wrath which follows is that beyond any measure, For who is so aligned with the will of her Creator, Which woman did He create, that other than her there is no greater? Her name is al-Batool, unsurpassed in every way, Be it the chastity, the virtue, or the worship she did display, No man equalled her strength the day she fought her right, Look around you now- see the destruction of Fatima's might. For which woman could have such eloquence and knowledge of the Book? Fadak was hers then and now, no matter what they took. Quoting the verses to them that were revealed to her very door, Every lie, every plot of theirs and tactic, into shreds she tore. For she is as-Siddiqa, the truthful, no matter who calls himself this too, A name is just a name but the truth lies in what we do, Ali is with the truth, truly this is no lie, And the truth is with Ali, but she will shortly die, Leaving behind a house that is both so full and bare, Full of Ali's grief, but of a mother's warmth, left bare, A homely nest no more, for its mother is no longer, A house that used to buzz with life, now remains mourning and sombre. Hassan holds her feet and Hussain cries on her chest, An imagine after which the heart of Ali will never find rest, Zainab and Kulthum sob as they await the darkness of night, One final farewell they crave before facing a new plight. And Ali...? A broken man, half a human, dealt his biggest blow, He sits with his head in his hands, and tears of anguish now freely flow. The lion, the warrior, the hero that roared with such might, Now quietly sobs for her pain and her loss, a flame of grief now alight. Two souls intertwined...now world's apart, A long journey of loneliness Ali has to start, Her orphans, her prayer mat, the memories of her days, With these he will survive, and he now says... 'A flower, nipped in the bud. From paradise it came, and to paradise it went, but has left its fragrance in my mind'.

  7. This is one of the most controversial topic in Islamic History. I took the time to research and bring together a thread over the complete story. We are not trying to dive in on how Abu Bakr usurped the Caliphate or how the Saqīfa went down. Just the attack on the house. It starts with Ali Ibn Abi Talib (عليه السلام) not wanting to give allegiance, he wasn’t the only one who opposed Abu Bakr, (The people who opposed the pledge to Abu Bakr) “Ali, Abbas, Zubayr, and Sa’d Ibn Ubada...” Al Aqd al Farid, Ibn Abd al Bar al Andlusi, Vol.5, P.13 "...He (Ali) didn't pledge for 6 months? He replied 'No, (meaning he agrees) nor did anyone from Bani Hashim." So it is clear that Ali (عليه السلام) And many other people opposed this pledge. So what did Abu Bakr do? He sent Umar to get the Bay’ah “...So Abu Bakr sent Umar to take them out of the house Of Fatima (عليها السلام) and he (Abu Bakr) said ‘If they deny, Fight them.’ So Umar went to the house with fire to burn the house, so Fatima (عليها السلام) met him at the door. She said to him, ‘Have you come to burn our house?’ He said ‘Yes, you will enter what the Ummah has entered.’ “ Al Mukhtasar, Imad al Deen Ismael, Vol.1, P.156 So now we will go to the threat, “...(Umar says) O’ Daughter of Rasul Allah! No one was more beloved to me then your father, and no one after your father is more beloved to us then you. But By Allah, If these people stay in your house then this (love of mine) will not stop me from burning the House over them.” Al Musanaf, Ibn Abi Shayba "The Chain is Sahih" "...'If they gather in your house, I will certainly do and I will certainly do!.' " Al Isti'ab, Al Qurtubi, P.975 MashAllah, What did you understand? Why do they hide the fact that Ahlulbayt were oppressed? Now, what happens with the threat, Umar involves fire and burning the house. "...(Fatima to Umar) 'Do I see you burning my door?' He replies, 'Yes.' " Ansab al Ashraf, Baludhiri. (Very sry, I couldn't get a bigger picture) "So he (Abu Bakr) Sent Umar. So the People yelled (for them to come out) while they were in the house of Ali (عليه السلام). They denied leaving the house so he (Umar) called for firewood. Umar then said, 'By the one who has the self of Umar in his Hand! You will come out or I will burn it on who is in it!.' It was said to Umar, 'O' Abu Hafsa, in the house is Fatima?' He replied 'So What?' " Al Imama wa al Siyasa, Ibn Qutayba, P.30 So not only did he want to burn a holy house (that is in the Masjid), He also didn't care that Fatima (عليها السلام) was in the house. So was the house attacked? Not threatened, Attacked. Yes. "...They were separated because of the Fitna that ended with the Attack of the house of Fatima (عليها السلام), and for this Attack, it is confirmed through Sahih Chains." The footnote says, "I thought the Attack was a lie and it isn't sahih, but I found many strong chains..." Qira'at Fe Kitub al Aqa'id, Hasan Ibn Farhan al Maliki, P.46 Now, let's go to Ibn Tammiya who said this, "They Attacked the house to see if there was any money they could give to the people who deserve it." Minhaj al Sunnat Bani Ummaya, Shaykh Islam Banu Ummyah Ibn Tammiya. May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) curse the liars! If Ahlulbayt (عليهم السلام) had any money, why did Fatima (عليها السلام) need Fadak? Or did they forget that Ahlulbayt (عليهم السلام) didn't eat for 3 days? Abu Bakr even admits that he attacked the house, "...'I wish I didn't Attack the house of Fatima (عليها السلام) even if they closed it for War...' " Kanz al Ummal, Al Mutaqi al Hindi. Now, did Umar hit Fatima and kill the fetus in her belly? "Umar hit the Belly of Fatima (عليها السلام) and killed the Fetus in her belly, and Umar would scream, 'Burn the house on who was in it!' And in the house was Ali, Fatima, Hasan, Husayn (عليهم السلام)!" This concludes it. و صل الله على محمد خاتم الانبياء و المرسلين و اله الاطهار
  8. Assalaam Malaikum brothers and sisters, On the evening of 16 Shaban 1441 (April 9, 2020 I believe) I had the following dream: I dreamt I saw Imam Ali bin Abu Talib (عليه السلام) at my place of work. I saw him and felt strongly it was him although he stood between 1 and a half foot - to 2 foot tall. I was walking towards him and saw him looking at me - but I couldn't make out any distinguishing features or even colors of his garb - it was as if he was suspended off the ground about a foot high. He wore a robe with a belt and sash along with a sword. Next to him I saw a small girl (like she was between 4-6 years old) come out in front of him peering out at me. She had a curious look and had a smile on her face. I then noticed beside Imam Ali (عليه السلام) was a large cup of what looked like toxic poison chemical of some sort. I felt thirsty and knew that if I drank from this large cup that it wouldn't hurt me. The dream then changes - I saw a cousin of mine who introduced to me a woman I never seen before who wore red and drove a red car. Before she drove off we were discussing a possible time to meet for a date. She left and I realized I was in park of sorts where I had to walk along hills of grass and noticing that on my left foot I wore sandal/shower slipper and on the right I wore a sneaker/shoe. I was aghast at this. I continued to walk towards a pool of water with two spring fountains coming out of it and seeing a Christian Priest walk around it. For some reason I knew the name of the Spring Fountains: the one I saw on my left was Fatima (عليه السلام), and the one on the right was Zainab (عليه السلام) I woke up soon after. Would anyone know how I could interpret this dream or know what it may mean? Thank you.
  9. Salam alaykum to all, I was hoping someone can find or write me the lyrics (kalam) for the nawha 'Ya Kareema' by Shahid Baltistani. The nawha is from his 2008 album. I'd do it myself, however i cant understand some of the words. Thanks in advance
  10. Praise and Eulogy for the Lord and Witness of the Unity of Allah and the Prophethood of Muhammad She started her speech by saying: “Praise be to Allah for His bounties (upon us) and thanks be to Him for all that He inspired; and commended is His name for all the bounties He created before our own creation, for all the common bounties that He bestowed (upon us) from His Ownself without even (our) asking for it, and abundant and complete bounties, such plenteous and unlimited bounties whose numbers cannot be computed, and thanks cannot be offered for the duration and commencement (of the bounties), and whose perpetuity is beyond comprehension. He invited (His servants) to offer praise, thus resulting in an increase and perpetuity (in their blessings), and in lieu of this abundance (of bounties), Allah desired that His creatures praise Him. Again, He invited you (to perform good deeds) resulting in bounties of this world as well as for the hereafter. I bear witness that there is no other deity (worthy of worship) except Allah - He is Unique and Unparalleled. Certainly interpretation (and result) of this witness (of monotheism) is sincerity, and it’s comprehension has been placed in the hearts, and the mind is illuminated by its (profound) understanding. He (Allah) cannot be seen with the eyes, nor can He be described with the tongues, and His state cannot be perceived. He is the One Who created all things without any past prototype, and originated them without having any past image and equals. Rather He created them with His Might and dispersed them according to His Will, He did not create them for a need, nor did He shape them for a benefit (for Himself), but rather (He did all of this) to establish His Wisdom and to bring their (the creature’s) attention to His obedience, and manifest His Might and (so that) His creatures may venerate Him, and (He created to) strengthen His invitation by dispatching His Prophets and friends. Thus He provided recompense for His obedience and granted punishment for His disobedience, (He informed) His slaves from performing such acts that invite His wrath, and thus would gather them in His Paradise. And I bear witness that my father Muhammad, is His slave and His Messenger, while Allah the Almighty chose him and selected him before bestowing prophethood upon him, and named him before selecting him, and chose him before sending him (for the mission of Islam), when the whole of creation was concealed in the hidden world, and they were in awe, and were in the extinction of nothingness. Almighty Allah was certainly aware of the consequences of all the tasks, and was acquainted with the occurrences of the ages, and conscious of the position of the destined. Allah sent His Prophet so as to complete His commands, to execute His rulings, and to deliver His decisive ordinances. He saw the nation divided into various religions, addicted to their places of worship, worshipping their idols, denying Allah despite their knowledge of Him. Then Allah illuminated their darkness (misguidance) through the medium of my father Muhammad and lifted the veils of obscurity from their hearts, and removed ignorance from their eyes. He (the Prophet) stood up among them for their guidance; delivered them from misguidance, enlightened their eyes from blindness, guided them towards the ‘Straight Path’ and invited them towards ‘the Right Path’. Then, Allah took away his soul with affection and by his choice, willingness and submission. Thus, Muhammad was relieved of the toils of this world and entered (the world of) comfort. There, he lives in ease among the righteous angels, and in the Paradise of the forgiving Lord, and in the neighborhood of the Mighty King. May Allah’s mercy be upon my father, His messenger and the trustworthy one with regards to His revelation, His friend, the best among His creations, His favorite one; and peace upon him and Allah’s Mercy and Blessings. Focus upon Memorizing the Qurʾan, an Exalted Trust of Allah You are the slaves of Allah and you are the establishers of His commands and prohibitions. You are the possessors of His religion and His revelation, the trustworthy ones with regards to yourselves and you should propagate it (Islam) to other nations, while you deem yourselves worthy of all this? A pledge had been taken from you in advance by Allah and there is among you His remembrance and that is the book of Allah (Qurʾan), the speaking one. It is a book of complete truthfulness and a bright light, the brilliant light. Its imminence is evident, its secrets are revealed, its apparent aspects are clear, its adherents become reasons for others to envy, it leads its adherents to the status of paradise (or the pleasure of Allah), its listeners are guided towards salvation and through it are gained the illuminated evidences of Allah. It determines the ordinances and prohibitions (of Allah), its evidences are illuminated and its proofs are sufficient, it contains the virtues of the recommendable acts (mustahabbat) , freedom with regards to performing the lawful things (mubah) and (informs about the) discouraged (makrūh) acts, and in it are written down other legal laws (of Islam). Concentration upon the Philosophy and Aim of Divine Ordinances Faith has been set so as to cleanse you of polytheism; ṣalat (prayers) are prescribed to keep you away from pride, zakat (charity) has been prescribed to purify ones’ self and results in the increase of sustenance; ṣawm (fasting) has been prescribed so that genuineness may be reinforced; Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca) has been prescribed to establish the religion; justice is prescribed to establish proper harmony in the hearts; the obligation to obey us (the Ahlul Bayt) has been prescribed to set up order in the community, and our authority (imamah) has been prescribed to save the people from differences. Jihad (struggle) is the honour of Islam and a humiliation for the people of polytheism and hypocrisy; patience has been made a medium for recompense to be bestowed; enjoining good has been prescribed for the general welfare (of the society); righteousness with one’s parents is a safeguard against His (Allah’s) wrath; kindness with one’s relatives is a medium of increasing one’s age and results in an increase of friends and relations; retribution has been prescribed so that people’s lives may be safe-guarded; fulfillment of vows leads to forgiveness; consideration of accuracy in measurement in weighing commodities saves one from loss. Prohibition of intoxicants has been prescribed so that humanity may remain away from filth; the prohibition of defaming (of adultery) has been prescribed so as to keep oneself away from the curse of Allah; robbery has been prohibited so that the hands may be pure; and polytheism has been prohibited so that sincerity may be established in Allah’s Divinity. Thus fear Allah as you should, and (see that) you die not but as Muslims. Obey Allah with regards to His orders and prohibitions for surely only those of His servants are conscious of Allah who are endowed with knowledge. The Decisiveness of the Prophet in Strengthening the Path of Guidance O people! Know that I am Fatima and my father was Muhammad. I say and I will repeat this again and again and I do not utter any falsehood, and whatever I do shall not be wrong. Indeed an Apostle from among yourselves has come to you, grievous to him is your falling into distress, (he is) solicitous regarding your welfare, towards the faithful (he is) compassionate, (and) merciful. If you look and understand, you will find that this Apostle is my father and not the father of any one of your women; he is the brother of my cousin (Imam ʿAli) and not the brother of any one of your men and how fortunate is the one related to him (the Prophet). The Prophet proclaimed the message and prevented the people from ignorance and polytheism and worked at opposing the customs of the polytheists. He broke their backs while their breath was entrapped in their chests. He called to the way of his Lord with wisdom and kind exhortation. He broke the idols and crushed the heads (of rebellion) of the polytheists until they were eradicated and took to flight. Then, the darkness of the night passed and it dawned and the truth became manifest in its true form. When the leader of the religion (the Prophet) spoke, foam gushed forth from the mouths of the polytheists and they became silent; the degraded group of the hypocrites was annihilated and pledges between disbelief and animosity broke. You all started uttering words of sincerity (Monotheism) and you were among a group consisting of illuminated countenances and fasting ones - those whom Allah intended to keep off from them uncleanliness and purify them with a thorough purification. Indeed, you were on the brink of the pit of the hell-fire. You were a community that was (considered just) - a medium who would quench the thirst of others and were a tool in the hands of the avaricious. You were similar to the place were hasty men come to take the fire (for their own benefit) and were being trampled under the feet while at that time, your state was such that you would drink water from the wayside gutter and your food was the unclean hides (of animals) or leaves. You were the humiliated and degraded ones from among the masses, fearing that people may carry you away by force! Thus Allah, the Blessed, the Sublime, delivered you through the medium of my father Muhammad, while you attained this deliverance after he (the Prophet) had to face numerous difficulties and fight with the stubborn polytheists, the beasts among the ʿArabs and after that with the People of the Book (the Christians and the Jews). Role of Imam ʿAli in the Defense of Islam Whenever the polytheists kindled the fire of wars, Allah would put it out; and when the adherents of Satan would manifest themselves or the beastly ones among the polytheists opened their mouths of envy, he (the Prophet) would dispatch his brother (Imam ʿAli) towards them. He (Imam ʿAli) would crush them and extinguish the blaze of their fire with his sword and he (Imam ʿAli) bore extreme brutality in the way of Allah and strove to obey the commands of Allah. He was the nearest to the Prophet of Allah and the master of the friends of Allah. He was always ready to serve the creations (of Allah), looking over the welfare of the people, endeavoring and toiling (in this way) and he was not affected with the censure of any censurer; while you were living a life of pleasure and peace, and were far away from the severity of battle, (you were in) enjoyment and security. Then you waited that we, the Ahlul Bayt, may be engulfed in severity of trails and waited to hear this news and in the heat of the battle, you retreated and fled from the battlefield! Criticism Against the Treachery of Men Thus when Allah the Almighty exalted his Prophet from this perishable world towards the abode of His Prophets and His chosen ones, the thorns of hypocrisy became manifest in you and the mantle of your religion gave, and the astray ones, who were silent until yesterday, suddenly started shrieking; the degraded and mean ones came out of their burrows into the open ground, and the valiant ones of the polytheists of falsehood started roaring. Now, these very people have taken the reins of authority into their hands and Satan has raised his head from the place of his concealment, inviting you towards evil - thus he found you to be among those accepting his invitation and you held him (in esteem) with the intention of securing position or being deceived. Satan invited you to rebel and found you to be (among the) base and meanest of people and he incited your rage and thus you became enraged. Then you started to snatch the rights of others and entered the spring that did not belong to you and you did all of this when not much time had passed since the passing of the Prophet and the wound (of his death) was deep and our hearts had not yet healed, and the corpse of the Prophet was not even laid to rest in the grave! You acted very swiftly dreading the outbreak of an agitation - beware that they themselves have fallen into the pit of agitation. Surely into trial have they already fallen, and verily hell encompasses the infidels. Far be it away from you! What has happened to you? Where are you wandering while the book of Allah (The Qurʾan) is amongst you; whose orders are apparent and judgements are illuminated; its emblems dazzling and whose enjoinments and prohibitions are straightforward. Did you not leave it behind your backs and then turned your faces away from it in disgust and turned to something else for judgement? Evil for the unjust will be the exchange; and whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him, and in the next world he will be among the losers. You did not even wait that the tempest may calm down! Rather, you hastened to take the reins (of the caliphate) into your hands. After having acquired it (the caliphate), you started to ignite the fire of mutiny and you became engrossed in inciting the fire. You responded to the call of Satan, the seducer, and you intended to put out the light of the glorious religion. You started to destroy the practices of the chosen Prophet, then you delighted in suckling the delicacies of the caliphate and opposed the Ahlul Bayt in secret and in the open. We have no choice but to bear the cuts of your daggers and the piercing of your spears into the body. Reasoning of Fatima for Fadak Now you presume that we do not have any inheritance from the Prophet - do you follow the customs of the (age of) ignorance? Is it the judgement of (the days of) ignorance (the Pagan era) that they desire? Who (else) can be better than Allah to judge for the people of assured faith. Indeed, it is as bright as the sun that I am the daughter of the Prophet of Allah. O Muslims! Is it befitting that I am deprived of my inheritance? O son of Abū Quhafah (Abu Bakr)! Is it contained in the Glorious Qurʾan that one should inherit from their father; while in your opinion, I should not inherit from my father? Indeed you have come with an unusual thing (attributed) upon Allah and His Prophet. Did you then intentionally forsake the Book of Allah and leave it behind your backs? Allah says: And Sulayman inherited Dawūd; in regards to the life of Zakariyyah, He says: So grant me from Yourself an heir who shall inherit from me and inherit from the family of Yaʿqūb; ‘Allah also says: And the blood relations are nearer to each other in the Book of Allah; Allah says: Allah enjoins upon you about your children - the male shall have the equal of the shares of two females; and He also says, If he (the believer) leaves behind any goods that he makes a bequest for parents and (the nearest) kinsmen in goodness (this is) a duty upon the pious ones. You assume that I do not have a share and allowance (in the inheritance) and that I should not inherit from my father and that there is no relation between us? Has Allah in His verses (of the Qurʾan) not taken into consideration everyone in general and are not all (of the) classes of men included in these verses? Is my father discharged from the applicability of this verse or do you say that two people of the same community do not inherit from one another? Are my father and I not a part and parcel of one community? Then, are you more cognizant of understanding the general and particular verses of the Qurʾan than my father and my cousin (Imam ʿAli)? Then take it (Fadak) until we meet you on the Day of Judgement - where Allah will be the Best Judge, and Muhammad will be the claimant on that day, and our destined time of meeting will be the Resurrection and on that promised day, the fallacious ones will be engulfed in deep loss and their regret (on that day) will be of no use to them! For every prophesy, there is a (prefixed) time and you will soon realize upon whom a torment (of tribulations) will descend which will disgrace him, and on who falls this lasting punishment.” Intense Criticism of the Ansar Then Sayyidah Fatima turned towards the Anṣar and said, “O group of valorous men! The aides of the nation! The helpers of Islam! What is this slackness (that you display) in regards to me while you are witnessing the oppression being meted upon me, but you still lie in a deep sleep! Did my father not say that the rights of a father for his children must be considered? How soon have you changed tracks, even though you possess the strength to stand up for my rights and are capable of supporting me regarding my claim! Do you then say that Muhammad has passed away and there remains no responsibility upon us? His loss is great and the crack that has appeared (in Islam) is severe and the division is immense. Unity has been shattered, the Earth is engulfed in darkness due to his concealment, the sun and the moon are eclipsed, and the stars have scattered away! Hopes have broken, mountains have crumbled, the family of the Prophet has been lost and their sanctity has been dishonored after his death! This is, by Allah, a great calamity and a grand adversity, while this calamity is incomparable and there is no other greater calamity than the death of the Prophet! This (the death of the Prophet) had already been conveyed to you in the Book of Allah, may He be glorified. You were reading the Qurʾan day and night in a loud voice, lamentingly, in a normal tone and in a pleasant voice. As for what happened in the past to Allah’s Prophets and apostles - the command is decisive and destiny enjoined: And Muhammad is not but an apostle, (other) apostles have already passed away prior to him, therefore if he dies or is killed, will you turn upon your heels? And he who turns upon his heels will by no means do harm to Allah in the least, and soon shall We reward the grateful ones. Be aware! I have said what I wanted to say, even though I know that you will not assist me as this slackness of yours to assist us has become a part of your heart (your practice). But all of this complaint is the result of the grief of the heart and the internal rage (that I feel) and (I know that) it is of no use, but I have said this to manifest my internal sorrow and to complete my proof upon you. Thus usurp it (Fadak) and fasten it firmly, for it is weak and feeble, while its shame and disgrace will always remain over you. The sign of the rage of the Supreme Allah has been cast upon it, and it will be an everlasting disgrace upon you and it will lead you to the fire of Allah which will engulf the heart. Thus Allah sees whatever you do, ‘And soon shall those who deal unjustly know what an (evil) turning they will be turned into.’ I am the daughter of that Prophet who was sent to warn you against the severe wrath of Allah, Act (you) whatever you can, and verily we (too) act, and wait, indeed we too are waiting.” https://www.al-Islam.org/fatimiyyah-ashura-lutfullah-safi-al-gulpaygani/historic-Fadak-sermon-Fatima
  11. Why Muslims Love Fatima (S) | Br. Khalil Jafar | Must Watch Amazing ! especially the conclusion.
  12. The first part of a multiple part series looking into the incident of the door, made over the past few weeks by a Shi'i brother in Morocco. In this first video, he explores the narration of Umar's threat in the musannaf of Ibn Abi Shayba. He refutes Uthman Al-Khamees' attempt to weaken the narration, and demonstrates how others who have reported the same narration have omitted Umar's words in different ways such as cutting it short and saying there is "a story", or reporting that Umar said "so and so" etc.
  13. Salam! Did Imam Ali (as) love Um al baneen like he loved Fatima al zahra? Or did he marry her just so that she could take care of Imam Hussein and imam Hassan?
  14. Salam, I am expecting and I read somewhere that Insiya is a laqab of Bibi Fatima (SA). I cannot find that website now, it had full detail of how to spell it in arabic and what it means etc. Can anyone of you please let me know the above details and give me reference if it is possible. Thanks!

  18. As-Salaam Alaykum, I have recently read an article on the website of Ayatollah Khamenei (khamenei.it) wherein he has stated that 'It's not allowed to insult the Sunni.' I have always been an advocate for taqleed and Marja's, but it's this type of opinion that disenchants & turns our very own youth against the principles of Taqlid. On the face, it seems very broad however after studying the article it's clear that it's aimed at preventing the lanat as it's deemed as 'insulting' to the Sunni Muslims. Furthermore, after having read the mentioned article it's very unclear whether the Muqallideen of Khamenei in the west are now even permitted to recite many duas & Ziyaraats such as Waritha, Ashura, Arbaeen etc as they all contain curses that will most certainly 'upset' Sunni brethren. It doesn't help the cause when our own scholars are repelling the same people that they should be attracting. It's clear from authentic historical sources that Lady Fatima s.a. cursed the first two usurpers after every Salat. Three Imams a.s. were present & none of them a.s. admonished Her s.a., therefore it's considered sunna. In addition, She s.a. prohibited the two from attending Her s.a. funeral & stated very clearly to them that She s.a. would complain to Rasoolullah saww regarding her treatment at their hands. So should we disregard all this just for the fear that our fellow brethren may be insulted? Please would someone kindly please explain this. Jazakallah Khair.
  19. When did the Quran have the punctuation marks added too it? As Muslims we all believe that the Quran is infallible and intact however is anyone familiar with the Quranic verses which Mention Ali, Fatima, Hassan and Hussian when you remove the punctuation? I forget the Ayat in which this miracle takes place can someone please help me.
  20. Salam guys and thank in advance for helping with this, It is my understanding that the Shia' believe the Prophet SAW had only one daughter (Fatima Az Zuhra)? I'd like to be able to reconcile this point to see what their rationale is. 1. If the Prophet SAW wasn't the father of Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthum, and Zaynab, then who was? 2. If Umm Kulthum, Ruqayyah, Zeinab, were called as Umm Kulthum bint Muhammad and Ruqayyah as bint Muhammad etc., why did not their names/references change like in the case of Zaid ibn Harith, who was formerly known as Zaid ibn Muhammad? As you know, upon revelation the Prophet SAW was instructed that children should retain the names of their biological parents, this would extend to the ladies. 3. What are the dates of marriage between Khadijah RA and our Prophet SAW (were they married 25 years before her death?), dates of birth for the potential daughters of the Prophet SAW, according to Shia' rendition of history? According to Sunni Sources, the marriage of Khadijah RA and the Prophet SAW was in 595 AD. The following are also Sunni Sources: Ruqayyah was born approx. 601 AD, died 624, after/during battle of Badr Umm Kulthum was born approx. 603 AD, did 630 AD Zeinab was born 599 AD, and presumed to also die in 630AD It seems Lady Fatima AZ may or may not have been born in 605, or 615, and died 632 AD. Also, Qasim bin Muhammad, if the shia' believe that he was a son of the Prophet SAW, his birth was 598 AD, and died in 600 or 601 AD. Take note his birth precedes all of his sisters (or half sisters) births and was the first child. Following this narration of history, it would stand to reason that the Prophet SAW did indeed have four daughters under Khadijah RA. Unless the Shia narration of history of these birthdates and deaths are substantially different from the Sunni sources, I'd very much like to learn these. 4. Is the rationale that Zeinab, Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthum aren't Ahlul Bait or daughters of Prophet Muhammad SAW because they were not included in the cloak in Hadith - Ahl al-Kisa? From what I understand, in both Sunni/Shia sources, the cloak includes the Prophet SAW, Imam 'Ali AS, Fatima AZ, Imam Hassan RA & Imam Hussein RA. However, when did that take place?, I think according to Shia' and Sunni sources, it took place in 9th to 10th year of Hirjah which equates to 631 AD... We know Imam Hussein RA was born 626 AD, therefore his birth took place after Ruqayyah already died (per Sunni sources), and therefore could not be included in the cloak by default if she was in fact the daughter of the Prophet SAW. In any event, if the event of the cloak took place in 631AD, Ruqayyah, Zeinab, and Umm Kulthum have already died in 630 AD (per Sunni sources) and therefore could not have been included in the cloak by default. This implies that one cannot argue if whether these 3 individuals were or were not the Prophet's daughters based on the Hadith of the Cloak alone (incident of Mubahala). I'm looking for references, and concise answers, please. @wmehar2
  21. What actually happened after the 'incident of the door?' - How did Imam Ali approach this situation, and was any sort of revenge for this sought?
  22. Salam brothers and sisters, As Ayyam e Fatimiyya go by, I thought that I share some information about tasbeeh Fatima Zahra. Origins Imam Ali ibn Talib (as), Fatimah Zahra's husband, once told Ibn Wahid a story about Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) most beloved daughter. Imam Ali ibn Talib (as) said, Fatimah Zahra's (pbuh) hands were blistered from constant grinding; her neck had become sore from carrying water; her clothes would become dirty from sweeping the floor. When Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had received an influx of servants from some place, Imam Ali ibn Talib (as) suggested to his wife that she approach her father and ask for a servant. Fatimah Zahra (pbuh) went, but could not speak to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) because of the people who were surrounding him. Next day, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) came to their house, and asked Fatimah Zahra (pbuh) as to why she wanted to see him. Imam Ali ibn Talib (as) told the whole story to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), and said that Fatimah Zahra (pbuh) went to him on his advice. "Fear Allah (SWT), Fatimah," Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, "Fulfill your obligations to the Lord, and continue with your housework."Then, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said he would give her something that would be better than a helper or anything else she wished in this world, this is when Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) gives Fatimah Zahra (pbuh) the gift of this Tasbih/Tasbeeh and its is known as Tasbih/Tasbeeh of Fatimah Zahra (pbuh). And said when you go to bed at night, read the following: 34 times - Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest) 33 times - Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah) 33 times - Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) Most of us are well aware of the spiritual benefits of this tasbeeh. We know that reciting this after our wajib prayers is highly recommended, and that it secures our place in the heaven. But, someyhing new I learned in this year's ashra were the medically proven benefits. Well, there's two ways you would recite this tasbeeh, either roll the beads or recite it keeping count on your fingers. When you recite it on your fingers, you're gently pressing the pads of your fingers. This gentle press stimulates the pressure points on your fingers. The pressure points regulate the flow of blood to specific parts of body and keep them well and healthy. This study of pressure points is called "acupuncture". Then, this part of your gums between the front teeth as shown in the picture, is linked to your heart When you recite this tasbeeh, you sah Allah 100 times. SubhanAllah, alhamdullilah, Allahuakbar The emphasis on the "L" you put, between your front teeth, regulates flow to heart. So, along with spiritual benefits, tasbeeh Fatima (a.s) also has physical benefits. Subhanallah. Thankyou for reading. Khudahafiz!
