  1. In the name of God, the most gracious & most merciful-- My best friend has decided to start his own window & door installation business. He has bought the LLC and is working on getting the liability insurance so that he can be a subcontractor & has asked me to be his "right hand man". The two of us will be working together to install windows and doors on new construction and will branch out eventually to perform retrofits on already occupied houses. We are planning on success and will be reinvesting most of our profits into building this business from the ground up. He has been a window and door installer for five years, but the company he is working for is going to close their install dept & that's what got him thinking about starting his own firm. Me? I need a reliable, steady job with people who can tolerate me (we've been "attached at the hip" for almost twenty years. He met his wife because I introduced them & has said "without you, my daughter wouldn't exist"). The pay is not going to be great as we begin, but that is ok for me because I live in my mother's house without any real monthly bills anyway as I learn the glazing trade from him. I have dedicated myself to this for the foreseeable future, so please, keep us in your supplications that we might have success in business and in our mission to help build homes & protect those homes from the elements. None of this would have even been possible had Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) not been looking out for me, making a plan and giving me a means to perform dignified, honest work for someone who is pretty much family anyway. I have chosen to use this opportunity to model good Islamic behavior to him, the communities we work in, and the other workers that we encounter during the day to day.
  2. please provide authentic narrations with proving the event of Umar allegedly pushing the door and why after Fatima (asws) had left the material world IMAM Ali (ASWS) Still gave baya/oath to Abubakr please tell me.
  3. Can somebody please type in a couple of authentic narrations of the story of the Omar bin Khattab burning the home of Imam Ali (a.s) and all the details from shia sources in like an order of events. JazakAllah khairan inshAllah
  4. The first part of a multiple part series looking into the incident of the door, made over the past few weeks by a Shi'i brother in Morocco. In this first video, he explores the narration of Umar's threat in the musannaf of Ibn Abi Shayba. He refutes Uthman Al-Khamees' attempt to weaken the narration, and demonstrates how others who have reported the same narration have omitted Umar's words in different ways such as cutting it short and saying there is "a story", or reporting that Umar said "so and so" etc.
  5. 1. The Prophet saww closed all the doors opening in the mosques except that of Imam Ali AS. The following hadith describe this closing of doors: Zaid b. Arqam narrates – Some companions had a path through the mosques one day the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said – Close all the doors except that of Ali. Zaid says that people [the companions whom we are told would accept any order of the Prophet (s.a.w.a.)] started speaking (against the order). Thus, the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) stood up and praised Allah and said – I have ordered to close all the doors except the door of Ali, by Allah! I have not closed anything nor opened but I have been ordered to do so and I obeyed. i. Musnad-o-Ahmad vol. 4, p. 329, tradition 19,502 – Imam Ahmed b. Hanbal is one of the four Sunni Imams of jurisprudence ii. Sunan-e-Kubra of Nesaai one of the authors of Sihah-e-Sittah (vol. 7, p. 422, tradition 8,369 & later edition vol. 5, p. 118, tradition 8,423) iii. Al Bedaya wa al-Nehaya of Ibn Kathir, vol. 5 p. 456 – he was a student of Ibn Taymiyyah who has rejected this tradition as a Shiite fabrication iv. Haakim in Mustadrak alaa al-Sahihain (vol. 3, p. 125, tradition 4,688) records that this report is with correct chain of narrators (Sahih al-sanad). v. Zahabi in his Talkhees al-Mustadrak records that the report is Sahih vi. Fadhail al-Sahaabah vol. 2 p. 618-620/985 vii. Majma al-Zawaaid vol. 9 p. 114 tradition 14,671 viii. Riyaaz al-Nazarah vol. 4 p.136 2- The hadith in sunni books mention Imam Ali as ordinary person, The detailed analysis on the subject in the light of verses of Quran and hadiths of the prophet saww reveal that such hadith are fabricated by Ummayad and their followers just to degrade the image and status of Imam Ali AS and Ahl al bayat AS. The detail can be seen at the given link: 4. The verses of quran and hadith indicate that Imam Ali is Sideeq Akbar. The confirmation of the fact comes by the sayings of the prophet Muhammad saw by the following hadith: In: "Sun'an Ibn Maj'ah (سنن ابن ماجة)", By: Muhammad bin Yaz'eed Al-Qazwini Abu abdullah Bin Maj'ah (محمد بن يزيد القزويني أبو عبد الله ابن ماجة), Investigated by: Muhammad Fo'a'ad Ab'd Al-Baqi (محمد فؤاد عبد الباقي): Association: Da'ar I'h'ya Al-Kutub Al-I,miyah (دار إحياء الكتب العربية), volume #1, Page# 44, Narration# 120: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَلِيٌّ: «أَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَأَخُو رَسُولِهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَنَا الصِّدِّيقُ الْأَكْبَرُ، لَا يَقُولُهَا بَعْدِي إِلَّا كَذَّابٌ، صَلَّيْتُ قَبْلَ النَّاسِ لِسَبْعِ سِنِينَ Told us Muhammad bin Isma'ail Al-Razi, said: told us Ubaidullah bin Musa said: informed us Al-Ala'a bin Sal'eh, from Al-Munhil, from Ab'ad bin Abdullah said: Said Ali (a.s): "I am the servant of Allah and the brother of his Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, and I am the greatest truthful (righteous) (Sideeq Al-Akbar), and no one says it after me, except a liar. I preformed Salat before the people for seven years." في الزوائد هذا الإسناد صحيح. رجاله ثقات. رواه الحاكم في المستدرك عن المنهال وقال صحيح على شرط الشيخين. In Al-Zawa'id, this is an Authentic (Sahih) Isn'aad/chain, and its men are trustworthy (thiqa'at). Narrated it Al-Hakim in his Mustadrak from Al-Mun'haal, and said: Authentic on the guidelines of Bukhari And Muslim. Thus confirming no one is Sideeq Akbar except Imam Ali AS. The following link describes the details based on the verses of Quran and hadith. 5.The reasons for the door of Imam Ali kept open in the mosque and other doors were closed are enforced by the hadith of the prophet saww as given below: a) The Prophet said, "The verse of purification was revealed concerning five people: myself, ALI, Hassan, Hussein, and Fatima." (Is'af Al-Raghibeen, p. 116; Sahih Muslim, Kitab Fada'il Al-Sahaba) b) The Prophet said, “The carrier of my flag in this life and the Hereafter is ALI.” (Kanz Al-Umal, 6/122; Al-Tabari, 2/201; Al-Khawarizmi, 250; Al-Fada’il of Ahmad, 253; Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 42/200) c) The Prophet said, “Every prophet has an executor and inheritor, and my executor and inheritor is ALI.” (Kanz Al-Umal, 6/158; Tarikh Baghdad of Al-Khateeb Al-Baghdadi, 11/173; Shawahid Al-Tanzil, 2/223; Yanabi' Al-Mawda, 94) a) The Prophet said, “We were created from the same tree, I and ALI .” (Al-Tirmidhi, 13/178; Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 122; Asad Al-Ghaba, 4/26; Al-Riyadh Al-Nudhra, 2/216) b) The Prophet said, “The most knowledgeable person in my nation after me is ALI .” (Manaqib Al-Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib of Ibn Al-Maghazeli Al-Shafi'i.) c) The Prophet said, “The first of you to reach the Pond is the first of you who accepted Islam: ALI.” (Kenz Al-Omal, 6/154; Al-Tabarani, 5/32; Al-Riyadh Al-Nudhra, 1/165; Dhaka’ir Al-'Aqil, 65; Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 230) d) The Prophet said, “No one is permitted on the Bridge except by the sainthood of ALI .” (Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 15; Al-Isti'ab, 2/457) e) The Prophet said, “There is a tree in Paradise called Tuba. Its roots are in the house of ALI, and its branches are ALI .” (Mustadrak Al-Sahihain of Al-Hakim Al-Nisabori, 3/109; Musnad Ahmad, 4/370; Al-Khasa’is of Al-Nisa’i, 25; Al-Tirmidhi; Al-Tabarani.) f) The Prophet said, “ALI is the distinguisher between truth and falsehood.” (Mustadrak Al-Sahihain of Al-Hakim Al-Nisabori, 3/132; Musnad Ahmad, 1/331; Yanabi' Al-Mawda, 92) g) The Prophet said, “The most righteous one is ALI .” (Al-Bayhaqi, 4/35; Kenz Al-Omal, 7/176; Al-Jami' of Al-Suyuti, 2/276; Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 93) h) The Prophet said, “The hand of ALI and my hand are equal in justice.” (Mustadrak Al-Sahihain of Al-Hakim Al-Nisabori, 3/14; Al-Tabari, 2/272; Al-Tirmidhi, 2/299; Ibn Al-Maghazali) i) The Prophet said, “ALI is my brother in this life and the Hereafter.” (Al-Khasa’is of Al-Nisa’i, 5; Al- Tirmidhi; Yanabi^ Al-Mawda, 61; Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 37; Yanabi' Al-Mawda, 57) j) The Prophet said, “ALI is to me what Harun was to Musa.” (Mustadrak Al-Sahihain of Al-Hakim Al- Nisabori, 3/137; Ibn Al-Maghazali, 65, 104; Al-Tabarani; HAliyat Al-Awliya’, 1/63; Akhtab Khawarizm, 229) k) The Prophet said, “ALI holds a right over this nation like the right of a father over his son.” (Muslim, 2/361; Al-Tirmidhi, 2/299; Al-Hakim, 3/130; Musnad Ahmad, 3/198; Al-Nisa’i, 7; Asad Al-Ghaba, 3/40) l) The Prophet said, “ALI is with the Qur’an, and the Qur’an is with Ali.” (Al-Bukhari, 5/19; Muslim, 2/360; Al-Tirmidhi, 5/304; Mustadrak Al-Sahihain of Al-Hakim Al-Nisabori, 3/109; Ibn Majah, 1/28; Musnad Ahmad, 3/328) m) The Prophet said, “Love for ALI is faith, and hatred for Ali is hypocrisy.” (Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 67; Al-Khawarizmi, 236; Fara’id Al-Samateen; Yanabi' Al-Mawda) n) The Prophet said, “The position of ALI amongst the people is like Surat Ikhlas in the Qur’an.” (Muslim, 1/48; Al-Tirmidhi, 2/299; Al-Nisa’i, 27; Musnad Ahmad, 6/299; Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 191) o) The Prophet said, “ALI is the beloved between two friends, myself and Ibrahim.” (Yanabi' Al-Mawda, 88; Fara’id Al-Samatin; Al-Abrar; Moniq Ibn Ahmad Al-Khawarizmi) p) The Prophet said, “Whoever splits with ALI has split with me, and whoever splits with me has split with God.” (Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 45; Yanabi' Al-Mawda, 181) q) The Prophet said, “ALI is from me and I am from him, and he is the protector of every true believer after me.” (Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 69; Yanabi' Al-Mawda, 125) r) The Prophet said, “ALI is the most beloved of God and His Prophet in all of creation.” (Kanz Al-Umal, 5/33; Al-Riyadh Al-Nudhra, 2/211; Ibn Al-Maghazali, 219) s) The Prophet said, “Mentioning ALI is a form of worship, and looking upon him is a form of worship.” (Mustadrak Al-Sahihain of Al-Hakim Al-Nisapuri, 3/123; Kenz Al-Omal, 6/156; Al-Tabarani; Ibn Al-Maghazeli, 240, 278; Al-Khawarizmi, 62) t) The Prophet said, “ALI stands in relation to me as my head to my body.” (Mustadrak Al-Sahihain of Al-Hakim Al-Nisabori, 3/141; Al-Jami^ of Al-Suyuti, 1/583; Tarikh Baghdad of Al-Khateeb Al-Baghdadi, 1/51; Hiliyat Al-Awliya’, 1/182; Al-Riyadh Al-Nudhra, 2/219) 6- The Prophet said, “ALI is the door of servitude, and whoever passes through that door is a true believer.” (Mustadrak Al-Sahihain of Al-Hakim Al-Nisabori; Kanz Al-Umal, 6/156; Al-Dilmi) 7- The Prophet said, “ALI is the door of my knowledge, and the one who will clarifies for my nation that which I was sent with.” (Tafsir Al-Tabari, 3/171; Shawahid Al-Tanzil, 2/356; Al-Darr Al-Manthour, 6/379; Yanabi' Al-Mawda, 61) Thus it is well proven that the Prophet saww never closed the Door leading to him. It also confirms that all the doors were closed except the Door of Imam Ali AS to the mosque.

Abu ‘l-Husayn Muhammad b. Harun at-Talla`ukbari said: My father narrated to me. He said: Abu `Ali b. Muhammad b. Hamam b. Suhayl ÑÖí Çááå Úäå narrated to me. He said: Ahmad b. Muhammad b. al-Barqi narrated from Ahmad b. Muhammad al-Ash`ari al-Qummi from `Abd ar-Rahman b. Bahr [*Ibn Ibi Najran] from `Abdullah b. Sinan from Ibn Muskan from Abu Basir from Abu `Abdillah Ja`far b. Muhammad Úáíå ÇáÓáÇã. He said: Fatima ÚáíåÇ ÇáÓáÇã was born on the twentieth of Jumada ‘l-Akhira in the forty fifth year from the birth of the Prophet Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÂáå æÓáã. And she resided in Mecca for eight years and in Medina for ten years. And seventy five days after the death of her father she passed away on the Tuesday of the third of Jumada ‘l-Akhira in the eleventh year from the Hijra. And the cause of her death was that Qunfudh, the client of the man, pounded her with the na`l (the silver or iron thing at the lower end of a scabbard) of the sword by his command. So she miscarried Muhsin and became sick from that with a severe illness. And she did not let anyone from those who had hurt her to enter upon her. And two men from the companions of the Prophet asked Amir al-Mu’mineen to intercede for them. So she responded, and when they entered upon her they said to her: How are you, O daughter of the Messenger of Allah. So she said: Good, praise be to Allah. Then she said to them: Have you not heard the Prophet saying: Fatima is a piece of my flesh, so whoever has hurt her has hurt me and whoever has hurt me has hurt Allah. They said: Yea. She said: By Allah, you have hurt me. So they went out from her while she was displeased with them. Original Arabic Source: Dalaa’il al-Imamah by al-Tabarai pg. 131; http://www.aqaed.com...1-08.html#tb033 Translation: http://www.tashayyu....1/her-martyrdom *There is dispute in naskh on the narrator being Ibn Bahr or Ibn Abi Najran. al-Majalisi in Bihar, and in another work called al-`Awalim, it narrates it as Ibn Abi Najran and we can see this as most likely as al-Ash`ari [ra] narrates from him repeatedly and Ibn Abi Najran [ra] narrates from Ibn Sinan [ra] like that as well. Wallahu-a`lam. There is one person in this chain who is technically majhul and without tawtheeq, the primary narrator to al-Tabarai [ra] : Abu’l-Husayn Muhamamd b. Harun b. Musa al-Tall`ukbari. Thus, this isnad is only considered qawwi (Þæøí) – all others are thiqat and our core narrators [ra]. However, there some information about this particular narration that can help us have some more confidence in his riwayah: 1 – He is the primary narrator from the author of the book, who is thiqa jaleel and from the companions of al-Najashi [ra]; the authors other Mashayikh include the famous Ibn al-Ghada’iri [ra] – who is one of the a`alaam in jarh and ta`deel. 2 – He is the son of the famous thiqa narrator al-Tall`ukbari [ra] 3 – al-Najashi narrates quotes him in the tarjimah of Ahmad b. Muhammad b. al-Rabi` and give him tarahhum So the isnad is something like qawwi kal-hasan (Þæøí ßÇáÍÓä) – “strong as if good” There are further external evidences (al-qaraa’in al-khaaraijiyya) that point to the authenticity (sihha) of this narration’s contents: Narrates Thiqat al-Islam al-Kulayni [ra] in al-Kafi (Vol. 1, Kitab al-Hujja, Chapter on the Birth of al-Zahra Fatima Ú, Hadith #2) ãÍãÏ Èä íÍíì¡ Úä ÇáÚãÑßí Èä Úáí¡ Úä Úáí Èä ÌÚÝÑ ÃÎíå¡ ÃÈí ÇáÍÓä Úáíå ÇáÓáÇã ÞÇá: Åä ÝÇØãÉ ÚáíåÇ ÇáÓáÇã ÕÏíÞÉ ÔåíÏÉ æÅä ÈäÇÊ ÇáÇäÈíÇÁ áÇ íØãËä. Muhammad b. Yahya from al-`Amraki b. `Ali from `Ali b. Ja`far [ra] from his brother Abi’l-Hasan [al-Kazim] Úáíå ÇáÓáÇãwho said: Verily Fatima [as] is [emphatically] truthful [and] a martyr (shaheeda) and the daughters of prophets do not menstruate. The sanad is saheeh, al-Majalisi records it as saheeh in Mir’aat al-`Uqool. The great Shaykh al-Ta’ifa al-Tusi [ra] in Talkhees al-Shaafi [Vol 5, Pg 156] states that there is an ijma` of the Shi`a upon this incident: "æÞÏ Ñæí Ãäåã ÖÑÈæåÇ ÈÇáÓíÇØ . æÇáãÔåæÑ ÇáÐí áÇ ÎáÇÝ Ýíå Èíä ÇáÔíÚÉ : Ãä ÚãÑ ÖÑÈ Úáì ÈØäåÇ ÍÊì ÃÓÞØÊ ¡ ÝÓãí ÇáÓÞØ " ãÍÓäÇ " ¡ æÇáÑæÇíÉ ÈÐáß ãÔåæÑÉ ÚäÏåã . æãÇ ÃÑÇ쾂 ãä ÅÍÑÇÞ ÇáÈíÊ ÚáíåÇ ¡ Ííä ÇáÊÌà ÅáíåÇ Þæã ¡ æÇãÊäÚæÇ ãä ÈíÚÊå . æáíÓ áÃÍÏ Ãä íäßÑ ÇáÑæÇíÉ ÈÐáß ¡ áÃäÇ ÞÏ ÈíäÇ ÇáÑæÇíÉ ÇáæÇÑÏÉ ãä ÌåÉ ÇáÚÇãÉ ¡ ãä ØÑíÞ ÇáÈáÇÐÑí ¡ æÛíÑå . æÑæÇíÉ ÇáÔíÚÉ ãÓÊÝíÖÉ Èå ¡ áÇ íÎÊáÝæä Ýí Ðáß " “And it is narrated that they struck her [Fatima (s)] with whips. It is the very well-known (mashhoor) [incident] in which there is no disagreement (laa khilaaf) amongst the Shi`a – that `Umar struck her stomach until she miscarried, so she named the married [baby] “Muhsin” [ra]. The narrations about that are well-known amongst them. They wanted [threatened?] the burning of the house upon her - where the people took refuge – seeking the pledge of allegiance (bay`a). There [surely] can be no one who denies this narrative for I have explained the narrative from the side of the common people [non-Shi`a] from the path of al-Baladthuri and other than him, and the narrative of the Shi`a [which are] are extensive in this [incident]. There is no disagreement in it.” The agreement of the Qudama [ra] is hujja. The above is sufficient for the Imami as proof of the Musibat al-Zahra’ – there are other well known facts that further support and give weight to this incident, here’s a small list: 1 – The historians (non-Shi`a) narrate this incident in various places & this is a public event, difficult to fabricate about in comparison to closed-door conversations 2 – Her [as] grave is unknown and it is undeniable that she died angry with the Shaykhayn 3 – No reason is posited for her death aside from this and she died at a very young age 4 – The non-Shi`a have accused the Shi`a of this belief and idea from long time coming 5 - `Umar’s personality & lack of restraint is well known …list goes on I’d like to point out that I am not here to prove or explain details to the incident – neither is this topic. Whether it was Qunfudh or `Umar himself or what Imam `Ali [as] was or wasn’t doing in the mean time and why – irrelevant to this discussion. What is established is the basic narrative of her [as] miscarriage and injuries and subsequent martyrdom. Inshaa’Allah, if new information comes forward I will add it to this post. æÇááå ÃÚáã Ýí ÇãÇä Çááå
  8. Salam , Probably it is not recommended to share dreams but I really want help since It is very much needed to understand a very strange Dream that I had last night. OK....It was Laylatul Juma...I had prayed the Prayer of Imam Ali as ......and before this I had done extreme amounts of sins both major and minor. NOW THE DREAM... I walked into a door.....a place I guess ...(note: It was feeling as If I was observing the whole dream and was a part of the dream as well). I was told that Imam Ali as is on a room. I was very much shy and scared and shameful as well to show him my face.To be honest this feeling was there in my body as well.Ok....So I went to this room and say him sleeping.....I remember exactly I even saw his yawn and another personality was right beside him as well probably one of his very dear companion as it felt at that time.I came back again thought whether it is appropriate to meet him or not. I wanted to meet him because I had a persons head in my hand , the same person who beheaded me once but due to the Imam as healing my head came back upon my neck. Finally I went and he greeted ( gets a bit vague here) then I gave him the head...I can recall that he laughed a very pleasant and modest smile....He thn perhaps told me something which I can recall.....BUT I DO REMEMBER THIS THAT HE TOOK A PAPER( DEERS SKIN) AND WROTE A VERSE FROM THE QURAN on it..and told me to go...(dont know which verse it was ) howvever do know that that it was about 5 or 6 words. I took it with me and kissed it while crying and I do believe that he gave the verse as part of a an advice......THEN I LEFT........ ANYONE WILLING TO INTERPRET OR GIVING THEIR THOUGHTS PLEASE DO SO,,,,,,,,,,,,
  9. When Lady Fatima was opening the door for guy he slammed the door in between Fatima Azharat breaking her rib. Now if there are a couple of questions I been asked regarding this story. For example, Where was Imam Ali her husband? If he was there why didnt he take revenge?? Why was she the one that opened the door? How authentic is this hadith? Hamza
