What is Difference b/w Sunni and Wahabi ? Wahab are those who were invented by English (British) with the help of Mohammed bin Abdul Wahab Najdi who belongs to an area of Najd (now which is part of Riadh, capital of Saudi Arabia). Mission was to destroy Ottoman Empire which was a pure Sunni and to destroy Islam too. They collect people who were against Sunni Govt and were greedy and rascal. Those people were from Khawarij. When English starts to attack on Ottoman Empire, these people starts slaughtering those who were Sunni, and they call those innocent as "Mushrik" (Mushrik are those who worshops gods of Stones).Sunni had lot of Shrines of Sahaba (companion of Mohammed) and Ahle Bayt.Wahabis started to destroy the Shrines of Sahaba and Sufi (Auliyah). They call those are infidel, who go to Shrines and asks them for help. However It is the belief of the Ahl-as-Sunnah that it is permissible to supplicate to Allah with the Tawasul of good deeds. It is permitted to supplicate with the Tawasul of a living pious person and it is also permitted to supplicate with the Tawasul of the deceased pious person. Sunni were those who send "Lanah" on Yazid, they respect Ameer Muawiya but hate Yazid. But Wahabi were those who defend Yazid. Sunni were those who believe that it is impermissible to say Ya Muhammad! or Ya Rasoolullah [May Allah bless him and grant him peace], but Wahabi said that “Ya Rasul Allah is 'shirk' and it is Wajib to kill Sunni people, and it is is wajib to loot their Sisters, Daughters, Wives and Mothers and it is Wajib to loot their Money. So, Sunni gives them a name of Wahabis, because they were follower of Mohammed bin Abdul Wahab Najdi, but not Mohammed. After a period of time they were suceeded to snatch Hijaz (old name of Saudi Arabia), and after the period of Saud, they renamed the Hijaz to Saudi Arabia.

Pakistan is Majority Sunni but you can find Shias in Significant number. Since it is believed that Quaid-e-Azam (Founder of Pakistan) was Ismaili Shia. But I see Wahabis and Deobandis are very much in Power. Barelvi is the only Sunni Branch which you can say is Shia Friendly but even Barelvis have lost their Control. Multan (City of Pakistan where I live) is City of Saints and filled with Shrines but people are are now thinking celebrating death anniversiry of Saints is something wastage of time. So SHOCKING point for me is Founder of Pakistan was Shia but today Wahabis are in power. It feels like in some years Pakistan will just be like Saudi Arabia.

Even today, members of such groups as SSP and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi are enlightened by the call of Allah and love for the Ahl-e-Bait. Maybe it is time for you Munafiqs to follow the footsteps of your forefathers and embrace Islam once and for all.

So, i want to perform a social experiment. I want to gather as much ridiculous Wahabi Fatwas as possible that we see online. And trust me i have seen some really out of this world and totally just crazy, crazy fatwas by these Wahabi Thugs. The only condition is that they have to be in video format and if possible with English translations for all of us to enjoy the monkey show. #5291 - Saudi Cleric Ali Al-Malki: West Tampers with Burgers, Whiskey to Induce Birth of Girls among Muslims (Archival) http://www.memritv.org/clip/en/5291.htm - This idiot read an article in China, never mentions the articles name, no source, who wrote it, who translated it, what exactly was mentioned in article but is willing to testify in front of God on day of judgement that since he read it in an article it must be true. I mean i am lost with words to be able to describe the shallowness of the intellect of this man and these are men who declare us Kafir and pray for us in the mosques to die and rot in hell.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXY7IovAohY This is an emotional appeal to those who have legitimatized shia killing in Pakistan... for what crime did these poor innocent children lose their fathers. and for those who even after watching this still agree with the killers... I ask you one question... how will you answer on the Day of Judgment to Allah (SWT) for this... You are in the same camp as Yazeed (la) who killed the blessed Imam Hussain (as) Apne Khuda Se Daro, Khuda ke Lanat se Daro ... Allahuma Salli Aala Muhammad Wa Aali Muhammad ... Mashallah very nice speech by Sanam Baloch on this issue....

Religious harmony: Dousing the flames of sectarianism GILGIT: The ongoing Tablighi Ijtima in Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) has provided an opportunity to bring Sunni and Shia sects closer in a manner the region has never witnessed before. On Monday, Maulana Tariq Jamil delivered a sermon in the central Shia mosque, preaching peace, tolerance and respect for each other’s beliefs. Jamil is a well-known Deobandi preacher whose religious activities took root in Raiwind, Lahore. He is one of the few hundred scholars who reached Gilgit from various parts of Pakistan to participate in the Ijtima being held in Gilgit from June 9 to 11. Ijtima is a Sunni religious congregation held over a couple of days, where often hundreds of thousands gather to hear sermons. The one in Gilgit was organised under the banner of the Tablighi Jamaat. “Differences in beliefs don’t mean people should kill each other, Islam doesn’t allow this,” said Jamil in a speech delivered at the Central Imamia Mosque in Gilgit. He had been invited there by Shia clerics in a move clearly intended to reflect tolerance at some level. Members of the Masjid Board were also present at the occasion. The board is a representative body of Shias and Sunnis which was formed after violence on the fractious lines of religion led to imposition of curfew in Gilgit during 2012. “We are all Muslims therefore we will have to accept this reality (of religious differences). We are here to preach love and respect, and not hatred.” Jamil’s sermon lasted over 30 minutes and urged adherents of each sect to follow the golden principles laid down in the Quran and ahadith. Top Shia scholar in G-B, Agha Rahat Hussaini reciprocated in a similar fashion, thanking Jamil for accepting his invitation and addressing the congregation at the imambargah. “We are lucky to have you here among us and it’s a great pleasure listening to you,” said Rahat Hussaini. He hoped the Ijtima would promote peace and love among the residents of G-B. In turn, Hussaini accepted Tariq Jamil’s invitation to participate in the Ijtima, saying he would be pleased to attend it. If Hussaini makes it to the Ijtima, it would be the first time in the history of G-B that a Shia intellectual would have participated in a predominantly Sunni congregation. Earlier on Sunday, two Shia lawmakers – Raziuddin Rizvi and Didar Ali – called on Tariq Jamil at the congregation and asked him to play a role in spreading peace in the region. The Tablighi Ijtama kicked off in Gilgit on Sunday. According to rough estimates, more than 300,000 people from all over the country are participating in it. “It’s a rare opportunity for top Sunni and Shia scholars to have demonstrated equally rare respect for each others’ beliefs,” said former advisor to the prime minister Maulana Attaullah Shahab. Shahab is also a senior Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl leader. In an attempt to avert any untoward incidents, law enforcement agencies stepped up security in the city. However, the gesture of peace from both sects eased the otherwise tense atmosphere of the city in matters related to religion. Gilgit straddles religious fault lines; back-to-back incidents of sectarian violence marred the region last year. At least 70 people were killed and many more were injured in different parts of G-B. A'thu billahi al samee' al 'aleem min alsha :shaytan: ytan ala'een al rajeem , bismillah al rahman araheem Salam alykom brothers and sisters. Please take the time to read my post and give me your thoughts on what I will say on this thread. Lately I have discovered online while browsing through multiple Sunni forums and websites that some of their members label them selves with names such as as Barelvi, deobandi, Ashari , mutazali , salafi and some others I can't remember. Some even reject these labels and name themselves to be as "Ahlul al sunnah wal jama'a". Where do all these names come from and how are they different from their four schools of fiqh ; eg: Hanafi, maliki , shafii, hanbali? Are they different schools of aqeedah which cannot be compared to their 4 schools of fiqh? For example, can a sunni be a barelvi and a hanafi at the same time while another sunni be a deobandi and hanafi at the same time as well? This is all confusing :S fi aman illah

(salam) We Shias are recognized for 1400 years for protesting against the oppression on Ahl ul Bayt a.s in Karbala. We Shias believe that arresting the women of the holy household of Prophet (pbuh) and imprisoning them in dark jail by Yazeed was a blasphemous and insulting act done by Yazeed and his army and we protest against it with full zeal and passion. On the other hand our counterpart Sunnis have principle stand on it that these processions and protests are against Islam and innovations (biddahs). Some of the Sunnis like Salafis and Wahabis are too strict in their action against Shias that they consider it halal to kill Shias for doing all these activities. But after the release of blasphemous film by the damned American producer and actors, the Sunnis have literally converted to Shia. We saw huge processions against this blasphemous film. People were found wearing black cloths and black ribbons around their arms. Many people had black ribbons around their arms in protest against the film. Now is it not biddah? No this is not because they now have understood that protesting against oppression is part of Islam and sometime even obligatory. We saw that our Sunnis brothers went to strike in Pakistan on 21st day of September. I saw many Sunni brothers asking others to not to open shops and not do work on that day because a strike was announced and before them it was haram to work in that day. Amazingly, when Shia says that working for gain on the day of Ashura is haram because it is mournful day because the whole family of Prophet (pbuh) was slaughtered in Karbala by the tyrant army of Yazeed our Sunni fellows have objection on it and they call it a biddah. I am happy that at last our Sunni fellows have understood the true spirit of Shia faith and finally have converted to Shia by accepting Shia customs and traditions.

(salam) I congratulate my Shia brothers on this beautiful occassion of recognizing Khawarij of this time. Obviously a person who remained advocate of Kharjiites is a big scholar before Salafi/Wahabi thugs and they proudly follow this person. Now obviously if this person praised Kharjiites in his life time then the todays Salafi/Wahabi clowns are Kharjiites of this time. ibn Taymiyah says in defending Kharijites that: “… Kharijites are from the greatest people in regard to prayer, fasting and recitation of the Holy Quran and they had army and military camp. They are firm in religion inwardly and outwardly.”[1] He says that: “Kharijites are more truthful, religious and virtuous than Shia, we have not heard that Kharijites intentionally tell lies, but they are from the most truthful people.”[2] He also says that: “Kharijites are wiser, more truthful and more serious about following the truth than Shia …, many Shi’ite leaders are polytheists and heathens.”[3] In answer to this matter, we should say that: how does ibn Taymiyah describe Kharijites as faithful and religious ones inwardly and outwardly? while if anyone studies the statements of the Companions in the folds of books, he will realize that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.) has charged them with helping Amir al- Muminin Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s.) in all wars and ordered them to join Ali (a.s.) in fighting against those who break their covenants, deviators and apostates. Some of these statements are as follows: 1- Abu Sa’id Khidri says that: “the Prophet (a.s.) ordered us to fight against those who break their covenants, deviators and apostates. We asked: O Messenger of Allah! You invited us to fight against these people; we should do this by following whom? The Prophet (s.a.w.) said: Ali ibn Abi Talib.”[4] 2- Abu al- Yaqzan Amar ibn Yasir says that: “the Prophet (s.a.w.) ordered me to fight against those who break their covenants, deviators and apostates.”[5] He has also quoted that the Prophet (s.a.w.) said: “O Ali! A cruel group murders you soon, while you are with the right, so if anyone does not help you at that day, he is not from me.”[6] 3- Khalid Asri says that: “I heard from Amir al- Muminin in the day of Nahruwan battle who said that: “the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.) ordered me to fight against those who break their covenants, deviators and apostates.”[7] 4- Abu Ayyub Ansari said in the age of Umar ibn Khattab’s caliphate that: “the Prophet (s.a.w.) has ordered us to fight against those who break their covenants, deviators and apostates.”[8] 5- Abdullah ibn Mas`ud says that: “the Prophet (s.a.w.) ordered Ali (a.s.) to fight against those who break their covenants, deviators and apostates.”[9] 6- Ali ibn Rabi’a Walibi says that: “I heard from Ali (a.s.) who said that: “the Prophet (s.a.w.) made me a pledge to fight against those who break their covenants, deviators and apostates after him.”[10] 7- Abu Sa’id Mawla Rubab says that: “I head from Ali (a.s.) who said that: “I have been ordered to fight against those who break their covenants, deviators and apostates.”[11] 8- Sa’d ibn Ibadah says that: “Ali (a.s.) said to me: “I have been ordered to fight against those who break their covenants, deviators and apostates.”[12] 9- Anas ibn Malik has quoted from his father from Imam Ali (a.s.) that he said: “I have been charged to fight against three groups: those who break their covenants, deviators and apostates.”[13] 10- Abdullah ibn Mas`ud says that: “the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.) left his house and went to the house of Umma Salmah, then Ali (a.s.) came. The Prophet (s.a.w.) said: “O Umma Salmah! I swear to Allah that this person will fight against those who break their covenants, deviators and apostates after me.”[14] 11- ibn Abi al- Hadid says that: “it is quoted from the Prophet (s.a.w.) who said to Ali (a.s.):[15] ÊÞÇÊá ÈÚÏÇáäǘËä æ ÇáÞÇÓØä æ ÇáãÇÑÞ “You will fight against those who break their covenants, deviators and apostates after me”. The meaning of “those who break their covenants” is the people of Jamal [battle], the meaning of “deviators” is cruel ones, that is the people of Saffin [battle] and followers of Muawiyah, and the meaning of “apostates” is that very Kharijites and the people of Nahruwan [battle].[16] References [1] - Minhaj al- Sunnah, vol. 4, p. 37 and 38. What do you think about this:
-
Abdullah Bin Saba existed or not is not relevant but this is harsh fact that Salafis and other Nasibis of like nature have found a character for putting all the blame on him. Let us see what were the crimes of so called companions, this character Abdullah Bin Saba has been used for:- CRIMES OF ABDULLAH BIN SABA WHERE COMPANIONS WERE QUITE INNOCENT: 1. During Usman era Abdullah bin Saba and his followers forced Usman to break the ribs of Abdullah Bin Mas'od (r.a) and force Abu Zar Ghaffari (r.a) to live in "Rabza". Usman was so innocent to call "bread" "Bledd") (Urdu: Rotee ko chochee kehtae thae). It was all fault of Abdullah bin Saba and his companions (Sabaaites) 2. There was no dispute of companions of the prophet with Usman. The rule of Usman was a just rule where every one was happy there was justice, equity and fairplay. Every one was getting his due. The door of the Baitul Mal was open for all needy people and it is wrong to say that Ummayads were made powerful and they looted and robbed Baitul Mal for themselves. These were Sabaiites (Followers of Abdullah Bin Saba) who surrounded the house of Usman and later killed him. The companions of the prophet were so weak that they could not save this great companion of Prophet (pbuh)and he was murdered right in Madina the Islamic capital of that time. All the companions were sad on his demise. There was no saying of Hazrat Aysha that "Kill this Naathal (Jew), he has become Kafir". Sabaiites managed to kill Usman while he was in the tight security of great companions and Marwan bin Hikm (His son in law). Companions were innocent. 2. After killing Usman, the Sabbaiites managed to persuade Hazrat Aysha to fight battle with Jamal. Again this time the companions were so innocent that they were easily used by Sabbaiites for creating battle between Ali a.s and Aysha. There was no fault of companions of prophet (pbuh). They were quite pious people. They just made mistake in Ijtehad not more than this. Hazrat Aysha was also innocent. (She was so innocent to call "bread" "Bledd") (Urdu: Rotee ko chochee kehtee theen). 3. In Jamal Sabbaaittes made fool of Talha and Zubair who had no greed for the governorship of Basra and Kufa but they were so innocent that they easily break "Baiyat of Ali a.s" and joined Aysha for battle against Ali a.s. This is again fault of Abdullah Bin Saba and his companions while these great companions were quite innocent. They were also so innocent to call "bread" "Bledd") (Urdu: Rotee ko chochee kehtae thae). 4. In Sifeen also Muawvia had no greed of power. He was not obliged to leave his governorship on the order of Ali bin Abi Talib a.s. He was very loving person who wanted to take revenge of Hazrat Usman from his murderers. Sabbaaites again conspired and forced him to fight against Ali bin Abi Talib a.s. While he was so innocent. It was only his Khata e Ijtehadi that he executed Hujr bin Udi and many other companions of Prophet (pbuh). He was also so innocent to call "bread" "Bledd") (Urdu: Rotee ko chochee kehtae thae). 5. There was no fault of Yazeed (l.a) in Karbala rather Sabbaiites and his followers killed Imam Hussain a.s. This justified Salafis to call Yazeed (la) as R.a. Yazeed was so innocent to call "bread" "Bledd") (Urdu: Rotee ko chochee kehta tha). So the Shias are founded by Abdullah Bin Saba. lol
