First off Salam to all of you, I was just asking as a teen male that (well maybe I'm thinking to deep about this) but is there an actual meaning in life that I'm not aware of. I mean society endured us and brainwashed us since children that we have to go to school to get a job to get married to have kids and finally grow old. But to me it seems Like an unbreakable endless cycle. Imagine if someone told you you would live 1 million life times only to relive that cycle over and over again. I probably wouldn't give it another thought but it's not like either of us had a choice in the first place but I just have to know what do we do here in this life. We came here now what go to school practice your religion all for what reason who is This for. You could argue that it's for Allah but Allah doesn't need us and we do it for ourselves for Hannah In a sense ( just saying I have 100% no doubt in religion I can be sure of that) but if we do this for ourselves then ask yourself is this what you really want and speaking of desires what would you want in the first place to live the American dream because to me it's a sugar coated infinite cycle of boredom. If I live I want to live for a reason and if I die I want to die to say proudly that I have no regrets and that I did what I want. So if you understand what's going on in my head then tell me if I'm overthinking things or if I'm right and there is something I should do thanks in advance.

ASALAAM ALAIKUM EVERYONE. RECENTLY, I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A SCHOOL OF THOUGHT TO FOLLOW. I HAVE BEEN RAISED SUNNI BUT I NOW WANT TO STUDY THE SHIA APPROACH TO AL-ISLAM. MY REASONS BEING BECAUSE THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENCES, SOME SLIGHT, SOME MAJOR IN THE WAY DIFFERENT GROUPS APPROACH THIS RELIGION SO I HAVE DECIDED THAT I WANT TO DO RESEARCH (WITH THE HELP OF Allah) AND FOLLOW THE ONE THAT IS CLOSEST TO THE QURAN AND THE CHARACTER OF RASULULLAH (pbuh). THEREFORE I WAS WONDERING IF YOU ALL COULD POINT ME TO SOME GOOD AND WELL KNOWN SCHOLARS WHO CAN EXPLAIN SOME OF YOUR DIFFERING BELIEFS AND BACK UP THEIR VALIDITY USING STRONG SOURCES. THIS ONE GUY TOLD ME TO LOOK UP STUFF FROM A SHEIKH NAMED YASSIR HABIB AND THE GUY SEEMED LIKE A HATE MONGER- SO PLEASE DO NOT POINT ME TOWARDS ANYONE WHO CURSES AND DISRESPECTS SUNNI AND SAHABAH. ALTHOUGH LIKE ALL SUNNI'S, I HAVE GREAT RESPECT FOR THE AHLUL BAYT (EVEN THOUGH I DO ADMIT THAT OUR SCHOLARS OFTEN NEGLECT TO TEACH US THEIR KNOWLEDGE, WITH AN EXCEPTION TO FATIMAH(RA) AND ALI(RA) OF COURSE, AND MENTION HOW MANY OF THEM WERE KILLED AND MISTREATED OVER TTHE YEARS), I WANT TO SEE THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE CLAIMS THAT THE PROPHET APPOINTED THEM TO BE LEADERS OF THE UMMAH. SO PLEASE HELP ME IN MY QUEST FOR A BALANCED UNDERSTANDING GUYS! JAZAKALLAH KHAIR!
