I wanted to start a discussion regarding the mother of the believers Aisha. Is she still the mother of the believers after reading this?? According to the Shiaa the prophet (saww) left the authority to divorce his wives to Imaam Alee (as) and Imaam Alee (as) did divorce Aisha (la) The narrations that I will be posting are Saheeh (Authentic) and here is what Allama Majlisi (RA) says about them: Bihar al-Anwar, by Allama Majlisi, vol. 22, p. 495 "This was the end of what we have taken out from the book Al-Turaf, which it has taken out from the book Al-Wasiya, by 'Isa bin al-Mustafadh, and the book Khasa'es al-A'imma, by Sayed al-Razi (ra), and most of it is narrated in the book Al-Sirat al-Mustaqeem, by Sheikh Zaynul-Deen al-Bayyadhi. And 'Isa and his book are mentioned in the books of Rijal, and I have distinguished chains of narrators from them. And after the esteem of Al-Kulayni (ra) and the two Sayed's reliance on it, there is no meaning in declaring any of them as weak, in addition to that the pronounciation of the narrations and their meanings bear witness to their authenticity." So now lets begin: First narration: The prophet (saww) giving Imaam Alee (as) the authority to divorce his wives: Al-Ghayba, by Al-Tusi, p. 150 "O Ali, you are my successor upon my family, the living ones as well as the dead ones, and upon my women. So the one of them whom you bind (bind to the Prophet's marriage to them) shall meet me tomorrow (on the Day of Judgment); and the one of them whom you divorce (divorce from the Prophet's marriage to them), I am innocent from her. She will not see me, neither will I see her on the Day of Resurrection. And you are my successor upon my nation after me." Second narration: Imaam Alee's (as) promise to divorce Aisha: Sharh' al-Akhbar, by Abu-Hanifa al-Nu'man al-Maghribi, vol. 1, p. 211. Ali sent (someone of his servants) to Aisha, after the end of the cause of Jamal, when she was in Basra, to say: "Return to your house", and she denied. Then he sent to her a second time, and she denied. Then he sent to her a third time: "You shall return, otherwise I shall say a word in which Allah and His Messenger shall dissociate themselves from you!" Then she said: "Get me away! Get me away!" Then a woman, who was with her, said to her: "O mother of the believers, what did scare you with Ali's commitment over you?" She said: "The Prophet made him his successor upon his family and left the divorcement of his women in his hand." Third Narration: Imaam Alee divorcing Aisha: Al-Ihjtijaj, by Al-Tabarsi, vol. 1, p. 24 "Imam al-Baqir (as) said: When the Day of Jamal took place and Aisha's howdah had been hit by arrows, the Commander of the Faithful (as) said: "By Allah, I do not see anything else than divorcing her! So I call, to Allah, after a man who heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: 'O Ali, the issue of my women is in your hand after me' when he stood and bore witness over this!" He (Al-Baqir) said: Then 13 men stood up, among them were two Badri's, and they bore witness to that they heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say to Ali bin Abi-Talib (as): "O Ali, the issue of my women is in your hand after me!" He (Al-Baqir) said: Then Aisha cried until they heard hear cry. Then Ali (as) said: "The Messenger of Allah (saw) said to me: 'Allah shall support you, O Ali, on the Day of Jamal with 5000 angels."

lnappropriate authentic "sunni" hadiths from "the mother of the believers" from "sunni" books and a "sunni" website: It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "I often scraped it (semen) from the garment of the Messenger of Allah with my hand." Sunan Ibn Majah 537 Chapter 82: Scraping semen from clothing, Book 1: The Book of Purification and its Sunnah Grade: Sahih (Darussalam) https://sunnah.com/ibnmajah:537 Narrated `Aisha: Do you make us (women) equal to dogs and donkeys? While I used to lie in my bed, the Prophet (ﷺ) would come and pray facing the middle of the bed. I used to consider it not good to stand in front of him in his prayers. So I used to slip away slowly and quietly from the foot of the bed till I got out of my guilt. Sahih al-Bukhari 508 Chapter 99: To offer As-Salat (the prayer) facing a bed, Book 8: Prayers (Salat) https://sunnah.com/bukhari:508 It was narrated that 'Aishah said: “The Verse of stoning and of breastfeeding an adult ten times was revealed (1), and the paper was with me under my pillow. When the Messenger of Allah died, we were preoccupied with his death, and a tame sheep came in and ate it.” 1: These verses were abrogated in recitation but not ruling. Other ahadith establish the number for fosterage to be 5. Sunan Ibn Majah 1944 Chapter 36: Breastfeeding an adult, Book 9: The Chapters on Marriage Grade: Hasan (Darussalam) https://sunnah.com/ibnmajah:1944 It was narrated that 'Aishah said: “Sahlah bint Suhail came to the Prophet and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I see signs of displeasure on the face of Abu Hudhaifah when Salim enters upon me.” The Prophet said: “Breastfeed him.” She said: “How can I breastfeed him when he is a grown man? The Messenger of Allah smiled and said: “I know that he is a grown man.” So she did that, then she came to the Prophet and said: “I have never seen any signs of displeasure on the face of Abu Hudhayfah after that.” And he was present at (the battle of) Badr. Sunan Ibn Majah 1943 Chapter 36: Breastfeeding an adult, Book 9: The Chapters on Marriage Grade: Sahih (Darussalam) https://sunnah.com/ibnmajah:1943 Please, PLEASE turn to Shia Islam. We don't have these hadiths. May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) guide the Ummah.

I came across this Hadith in Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal (Hadith no 25914) and it’s graded Sahih according to the conditions of both Bukhari and Muslim: Rough English translation- Aisha said: “the prophet was sick and came out with one arm on Fadhl Ibn Abbas and the other on another man. Ubaidullah said that Ibn Abbas told them: “Do you know the other man that Aisha didn’t name? It was Ali but Aisha doesn’t like mentioning him” This proves Aisha’s hatred towards Imam Ali as she can’t even stand mentioning his name Can a Sunni please explain?

1) There is literally no evidence that she poisoned him. 2) There is literally no way (save a time machine) to find out whether or not she poisoned him. 3) There are plenty of respectable sources that both Shia and Sunni agree on that show that the prophet loved her and showed her a lot of affection. 4) What purpose does it serve to propagate or start rumors about her without evidence that doesn't exist and is unobtainable? 5) How will this information affect how you practice Islam? If you are Shia you like likely already reject hadiths reported by her, and if you are Sunni you likely accept hadiths reported by her. And if you're trying to decide whether to be shia or sunni based solely off a matter that is unprovable at this point in time, then I think you need to reevaluate. Sorry for not answering your question. My guess would be that I highly doubt it.

Read the Reddit comments to understand what the thread was about, since the post has since been deleted. ....................................................................................... I'm so tired of the utterly nonsensical and VERY COMMON Sunni notion of 'I am happy to seek unity with Shias as long as they don't curse/insult/abuse any Sahaba, and especially NOT Aisha, Abu Bakr, Omar, Uthman. Firstly, any Shia claim regarding the sahabi that happens to go against the Sunni narrative is considered insulting. Secondly, and more importantly, is that the same notion is true for Shias... You are insulting the Ahlul Bayt by not accepting them as divinely appointed leaders of Allah, and infallible individuals, and perfect preservers of the religion of Islam, and a high means of seeking closeness to Allah (intercession). Not only are you insulting revered Shia figures by not following them, you are commiting MAJOR shirk by giving a false attribute to Allah, by saying that Allah has not always appointed an infallible leader on this Earth, and that there currently isn't an infallible leader. Furthermore, the real kicker is that plenty of revered Shia figures, such as Abu Talib (رضي الله عنه), are considered kuffar by Sunnis. Is this not insulting? So, how can we Shias unite with Sunnis based on their own fallacious logic? Shias are the minority, and Sunnis are the majority. It makes Sunnis think that they are Orthodox and that they have to unite with Heterodox for political and humanitarian reasons, and that Shias must make [ridiculous] compromises. Shias are far more receptive to the unity message, because we actually understand Sunni Islam, and can see the commonalities. We understand that we can't make Sunnis compromise on their beliefs. Simply by being the minority within Islam, by nature we Shias already understand Sunni beliefs, whereas Sunnis have a basic strawman understanding of Shia beliefs... which is natural, considering that they are the majority. Anyways, the point of my post is the following: Let's compile a list of revered Shia figures that are not given their proper status by Sunnis, according to Shia Islam... with an explanation given. ...This is to show that we Shias and Sunnis can unite, but we cannot unite upon revered figures and imamah. ...This will also serve as a way of showing Sunnis that this argument of theirs makes no sense. Another important question we may ask is "What about commonly revered figures like Imam Ali (عليه السلام) who is given different status in both sects? Can we unite upon Imam Ali (عليه السلام)?" ...a common Sunni criticism of political unity is that "Ali ibn Abi Talib (رضي الله عنه) is given an improper status in Shia religion because they call upon him... tawassul (intercession) of the 'dead' is Shirk! So there is absolutely no room for unity since we can't even agree on the status of the sahabi" [yes, I am aware that the Imams (عليه السلام) are still alive, but Sunnis don't believe this...] I would love to hear your thoughts. Wassalam. JazakAllah Khair. Fi sabilillah.

Some people argue that the mother of believers aisha was responsible for the tragedy of karbala. Do any shias agree with this?

(bismillah) (salam) I hope you are all in the best of health and Imaan (faith). So, I have recently seen people being very concerned about the allegation some non-Muslims make against the Holy Prophet (pbuh) , in regards to the age of his wife Aisha at the time of their marriage. Many a Muslims are shocked when they hear of the narrations regarding her age (there are, of course, differing accounts but I am talking about the accounts which age her fairly her young, at around 6 when the marriage took place and 9 at the time of consummation). Many non-Muslims try to raise this as an issue to malign the Prophet (pbuh) as immoral and a man who is controlled by carnal desires - I am not even going to mention the names they call him because of how lowly they are. This is why I decided to give a few points which helped me out on this matter, mainly the age of Lady Fatima (peace be upon her), when she was married. Although I, myself, am not really sure and do not have a concrete view on what really was Aisha's age at the time of the marriage because I have seen conflicting theories and I can't seem to decide which one is right, at least, not at the moment. I did, however, come up with something that makes me very comfortable, even if she was 9 at the time of consummation, as those who like to malign the Prophet (pbuh) would like and I would like to share this with you. Before I delve into the point which occurred to me, I want to give an example. I remember a member of Shiachat creating a thread recently, explaining how his/her (I don't want to give too many clues about the identity of that person because the member may not like it) father had this addiction for pornography and how he overcame it. One of the major reasons this person gave for his/her father leaving this nasty habit was that he could not accept his daughter doing "something silly with stupid men" and, so, the women in those magazines/videos were also the daughters of someone and if he disliked his daughters doing such acts, he should also take into account that these women were also the daughters of someone. Now, the only reason I brought up this whole thing was to show one thing: in these cases of immorality, no matter how vile and immoral the person is, he/she would still be very uncomfortable with his own daughters performing the acts of indecency that he was so used to. The point, in a nutshell, is that a person may do all sorts of morally corrupt actions but when it comes to their own children, they don't like the idea of their own children doing those acts, no matter how much of it they, themselves, do it. Coming to the Prophet (pbuh) , the thing I want to point out is that, according to the Shi'i narrations, the age of Lady Fatima (peace be upon her) at the time of marriage was 9 (according to the Sunni narrations, she was a bit more older, at around 11, but would still be considered a child by the standards of those who try to malign the Prophet (pbuh) and, so, the age we take does not matter - she was a "child" at that time). It is said that she had her first-born when she was 10 and, so, it is reasonable to assume that the marriage was consummated when she was still 9, or at most, 10. Now, if the Prophet (pbuh) was an indecent man who married Aisha at such a young age because of whatever reasons the opponents give, trying to make it look like immoral, I want to ask, keeping in mind the example I gave above, even if he was so immoral, why would he let his daughter also marry at approximately the same age as his marriage was consummated with Aisha? Even the most vile person would not allow his daughter to undergo oppression, which is what they say the Prophet (pbuh) marriage to Aisha was, to Aisha. The Prophet (pbuh) 's decision to let his own daughter marry at this "young" age clearly shows that he did not find it immoral for a woman to marry at this age and, therefore, he cannot be criticised regarding his marriage to Aisha. The concept of morality he had did not make it immoral to marry a 9 year old and, so, we cannot use our standards on him! I wonder why those modernists who even support homosexuality simply on the premise of multiculturalism, tolerance and accepting the differences within cultures are so eager to attack the Prophet (pbuh) when the same reasons apply to his case? Some do try and purport that the concept of morality in his time was different but his actions, being those of a Prophet, should be moral for all ages and times. This is, perhaps, the most ludicrous arguement one could make in this regard. There are two very basic flaws in such an arguement: 1. He is the Prophet of Allah (pbuh) , the Messenger of God who teaches us what God deems right and wrong and, so, morality should be predicated upon his commands and actions. We should appraise the morality of our actions using him as the model and not the other way round, evaluating his actions on our conceptions of morality. Such a thing is extremely outrageous and ridiculous because according to social dynamics, the what is perceived as moral or immoral with society is always changing and, so, we cannot judge his actions on a scale that is not even constant. He is the yardstick and, so, we can't judge the yardstick based on the specimen because that is totally opposite logic! 2. Like I have said above, conceptions of morality are always changing within societies and, so, we can't expect someone's actions to fulfill the requirements of all these differing concepts. Sometimes, we may find the conception of what is moral regarding a certain issue being contradictory to what is conceived as moral in another society. How can we expect - or, indeed, ask - a person to be moral using both definitions when, obviously, they are antithetical? Insha'Allah, I have been helpful, clear and objective in my reasoning and have not hurt anyone! :D May Allah (SWT) bless us all, our families and loved ones, guide us all to The Straight Path with His Perfect Guidance, increase our knowledge and Imaan and may He, The Forgiver of Sins and the Oft-Forgiving, forgive all our sins for, verily, there is neither any refuge nor any respite for the sinners, except in Allah (SWT) .

Can someone tell me how old Aisha was when she married Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). My professor says she was 6 when the Prophet (pbuh) married her and consummated the marriage at age 9! This is hard for me to believe, even though it is in Sahih Bukhari, I refuse to believe it. Does anyone have any factual evidence to prove the age of Aisha when she was married?

Sheik Hassan Allahyari. Salam. Last week Sheikh Asrar Rashid issued at challenge to the Shia Ulema based in the West to debate him. I hereby accept the challenge. Having previously debated and destroyed a plethora of Bakri titans via TV debates, I'll happily do the same with you. I'm based in the USA so therefore fulfill your requirement that the scholar be from the West. As the debate will need to be via satellite I'm happy for it to be aired live for all to see. We can show it concurrently on my Ahlelbayt TV channel and whatever Bakri channel (using your facebook live or any other means of live streaming) you want to show it on. So Shaykh Asrar, I am here, ready, willing and able. Now all that's left is for us to agree the conditions of the debate on the uprightness of the Sheikhayn (Abu Bakr, Umar, A'isha ) and all other companions who deviated from the path of Allah (swt). I'll look forward to hearing from you in due course. Ahlbaittv@gmail.com https://eng.abtv.org

Salam warahma. My brothers, we need to speak truth about Aisha R. As a sunni, i have always respected and loved her. I recently learnt about the battle of jamal and just about all authentic narrations pertaining to it. To my knowledge, Aisha R went out with forces purely with the intention of reconciliation and reformation due to her status as Ummul Momineen. She did not question Ali Rs caliphate nor have the slightest intent of rebelling against him. She only went out thinking she could bring reform amongst people for Uthman Rs martyrdom. An agreement was reached between the army of Ali R and of Aisha, Talha and Zubayr R where both parties slept comfortably(based on the consensus of many historians, scholars and analysts). It was the people of fitna who deliberately consulted one another and ignited the fighting once more, causing both parties to think they betrayed each other. When Ali R recieved news of Zubayr Rs death, he cried as he saw his sword, saying 'how many times has this sword protected Rasoolallah?' Aisha R was not even on the battlefield the way people like Ammar Nakshawani(who i find very dishonest) make it out to be. She didnt even know that there was fighting going on until Ka'ab ibn sur told her to come out on her camel with the hope of stopping the fighting due to her status. As soon as Ka'ab R comes out, instructed by Aisha to judge by the Quran, the people of fitna realized that they will be exposed, and as a result shot arrows at Ka'ab R and went for the camel. Both Aisha and Ali R are yelling to stop the fighting and it is at this point that Aisha R realizes who the murderers of Uthman and the real evil people were. She prayed out loud saying Ya Allah curse the murderers of Uthman, the armies heard this and said it, and Ali R did the same upon hearing it When the battle ended, Ali R entered upon her and said Salam, asking how she is. She said Wsalam and said she is fine. Ali R said may Allah have mercy upon you and she said the same. Ali R found two men insulting Aisha ( much like extreme shias today). He ordered Qa'Qa R to lash them 100 times. When Aisha left Basra, Ali R walked out with her for miles, accompanying her bidding her farewell. Aisha spoke to the people of Basra saying 'oh children, some of us have transgressed against each other because of delaying and hastening(delaying to give bay'ah to Ali R, and rushing to avenge Uthman Rs death), so do not transgress one another. We are neither enemies to Ali nor is Ali an enemy to us. Wallahi there is nothing between me and Ali except what small quarrels ensues between a woman and her in laws. With me, he is the best of people' this is spoken publicly to the people of Basra Ali R responds by saying 'oh people wallahi she has spoken the truth, nothing was between us except the small quarrels between family members' he then followed with, and this my brothers is very important, 'she is the wife of your prophet in this life and the next' When Aisha was on her death bed, Abdullah ibn abbas entered and praised her, saying 'you are the wife of rasoolallah in this life and the next, and you are the one Allah proclaimed innocence of from the heavens'. Surely if Aisha was set to go to Hell fire (nauzubillah) as some shias say, wouldn't abdullah ibn abbas encourage her to repent? No, rather he praised her and said she is the wife of muhammad saw in this life and the next, as Ali R said. I urge you not to speak negatively of a woman Allah proclaimed innocence of in the Quran, a woman who played games and ate with the prophet pbuh, who would shower with him and who held his head in her lap when he passed away. My dear brothers, it is not as simple as some critiques make it out to be, i.e, aisha waging war vs Ali r. This is not true and we must be sincere. Please please please learn authentic narrations regarding this event, along with all of Aisha and Muhammad Saws beautiful marriage life.

Salaam brother @Fahad Sani @Abu_Rumaysah @submitter71, I hope you are well. Once again, thank you for participating in ShiaChat. I am learned a great deal from you and in the interest of furthering our collective knowledge, I would like to ask you about the actions of Umm Aisha. It was narrated that 'Urwah said: "The rest of the wives of the Prophet refused for anyone to enter upon them on the basis of that type of breast-feeding, meaning breast-feeding of an adult. They said to 'Aishah: 'By Allah, we think that what the Messenger of Allah told Sahlah bint Suhail to do was a concession which was granted by the Messenger of Allah only with regard to breast-feeding Salim. By Allah, no one will enter upon us, nor see us on the basis of this type of breast-feeding.'" Grade : Sahih (Darussalam) Sunan an-Nasa'i Book 26, Hadith 129 Zainab bint Abu Salamah narrated that her mother Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet, used to say: "The rest of the wives of the Prophet refused for anyone to enter upon them on the basis of that type of breast-feeding, meaning breast-feeding of an adult. They said to 'Aishah: 'By Allah, we think that this is a concession which the Messenger of Allah granted only to Salim. No one will enter upon us, nor see us on the basis of this type of breast-feeding.'" Grade : Sahih (Darussalam) Sunan an-Nasa'i Book 26, Hadith 130 How many people did Umm Aisha allow to vist her by breast-feeding? Is this still common practice amongst Sunnis? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Narrated Abu Salama: `Aisha's brother and I went to `Aisha and he asked her about the bath of the Prophet. She brought a pot containing about a Sa` of water and took a bath and poured it over her head and at that time there was a screen between her and us. Sahih al-Bukhari Book 5, Hadith 4 It was narrated from Abu Bakr bin Hafs: "I heard Abu Salamah say: 'I entered upon 'Aishah and her foster-brother was with her. He asked her about the Ghusl of the Prophet (ﷺ). She called for a vessel in which was a Sa' of water, then she concealed herself and performed Ghusl and poured water over her head three times.'" Grade : Sahih (Darussalam) Sunan an-Nasa'i Vol. 1, Book 1, Hadith 228 Abu Salamab. 'Abd al-Rahman reported: I along with the foster brother of 'A'isha went to her and he asked about the bath of the Apostle (ﷺ) because of sexual intercourse. She called for a vessel equal to a Sa' and she took a bath. and there was a curtain between us and her. She poured water on her head thrice and he (Abu Salama) said: The wives of the Apostle (ﷺ) collectedhair on their heads and these lopped up to ears (and did rot go beyond that). Sahih Muslim Book 3, Hadith 50 Is it common for Sunni women to take a bath in front of their brothers and their friends with a screen between them? Of course, this is all in the interest of gaining greater understanding of each others' faith so I hope you do not mind these questions. And I have a few more that I will ask next week. Was salaam.

Salaam Alaykum Imam Ali sent Aisha under military escort: Muhammad bin Abu Bakr and 40 women. Does this mean the 40 women were trained to defend the way Imam Ali's army was trained? I'm asking this to see if there are examples of women in the military back in those days. Also, does anyone know what animals these women were riding? Horses, camels?

No disrespect to my Sunni Brothers as I know you hold Aisha high as the literal mother of all Muslims. I have always pondered over the situation of Aisha bint Abu Bakr, I understand that the wives of the Prophet should hold the respect they deserve without any doubt. So my question is the following. What is it about Aisha bint Abu Bakr that makes her stand out from the rest of the wives? what hadith from the Prophet do you have that shows her at a higher elevation then the Prophets first wife for example and indeed the rest of the wives? As I said , no disrespect because I love all humanity except those who hated the Prophet pbuh and his Ahlul Bayt a.s

Salam Aleikum to you all! In this post i want to know why "a part" of the shiites hate the sahaba's of the prophet (saws). I know that the shiites think that a big part of the sahabs were disbelief or deviants, which offcause is not the truth.. Why does you talk bad about the wife of the prophet, Aisha (ra) ?? Do you really think, that the prophet (saws) would be happy about your behavour? Do you think Allah (SWT) is pleased with your cursing over the sahaba's? Do you think your a better muslim than the people closes to the prophet (saws)? How would you stand in front of Allah (SWT) at the judgments day and say that your not acknowledges the people that he has protected and blessed? Wa Salam

Salam. The month of November witnessed a phenomenal out pouring of hatred and venom spewed against Junaid Jumshaid a Pakistani pop singer turned T.V Deobandi pseudo-scholar. The anger related to a lecture delivered by him in a private gathering wherein he highlighted a characteristic of A'isha, quoted a tradition on it and thereafter offered an analysis of the said tradition. Now, the issue that we wish to ask is as follows: Did Jumshaid say anything that might have contradict Sunni texts? Was A'isha an attention seeker? Is it correct to say that benefitting from the company of Prophet (asws) in no way guarantees a change in behaviour? Read here: http://www.revisitingthesalaf.org/2014/12/the-disco-mullah-and-ayesha-controversy.html

It is proven logically that this Sorah is about Aisha RA, not Maria RA. 1. Aisha RA was Rasoolullah SAW's wife. Maria RA was a slave girl. A slave girl can be purchased from her master while a wife remains wife unless death or divorce occurs. In the case of divorce, still Allah allows to reconciliate. 24: 6 And those who accuse their wives [of adultery]....... 2. Abu Bakr RA stopped helping his poor relative who took part in slander on Aisha RA. It is natural, a father may feel in the same way. But because he was a virteous person and Allah loves him to continue his virtues, He told him with kind, loving and respectful words to continue to support his poor relative. It can't be Muqawqis, who sent Maria Qibtia as a gift to Rasoolullah SAW when Rasoolullah SAW sent him a letter to accept Islam. He did not accept Islam and sent the messenger back to Madina with some gifts including Maria Qibtia. Muqawqis did not support Muslims financially, especially after the incident of Ifk. Because he did not have any blood relation with Maria RA. 24:22 And let not those of virtue (Ulul Fadhl) among you and wealth swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of Allah , and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful (Indeed this is due to slander, the next verse explains). 24:23 Indeed, those who [falsely] accuse chaste, unaware and believing women are cursed in this world and the Hereafter; and they will have a great punishment. 24:24 On a Day when their tongues, their hands and their feet will bear witness against them as to what they used to do. Ali RA reply and view of ifk Ali RA said, “O Messenger of God! Once, you were leading the prayer. You took off your shoes. We took off our shoes following you. When you finished the prayer, you asked us why we had taken off our shoes. We said we had taken them off to follow you. Thereupon, you said, ‘Gabriel ordered me to take them off because they were not clean.’ Is it possible that you were informed about the dirt that polluted your shoes and you were ordered to take them off but you would not be ordered to remove something that blemished your honor?” Halabi, Insanu’l-Uyun, Vol. 2, p. 624-625. Quranic verse, 24:26 Evil women are for evil men, and evil men are [subjected] to evil women. And good women are for good men, and good men are [an object] of good women. Those [good people] are declared innocent of what the slanderers say. For them is forgiveness and noble provision.

Ali didnt know/understand that he was appointed by the Prophet s.a.w at Ghadeer khum as the successor, but the Shias do. May be the Shias are smarter than Ali :P Sahih Bukhari Vol. 8, Book 74, Hadith 282: Narrated by Ibn Abbas: `Ali bin Abi Talib came out of the house of the Prophet () during his fatal ailment. The people asked (`Ali), "O Abu Hasan! How is the health of Allah's Messenger () this morning?" `Ali said, "This morning he is better, with the grace of Allah." Al-`Abbas held `Ali by the hand and said, "Don't you see him (about to die)? By Allah, within three days you will be the slave of the stick (i.e., under the command of another ruler). By Allah, I think that Allah's Messenger () will die from his present ailment, for I know the signs of death on the faces of the offspring of `Abdul Muttalib. So let us go to Allah's Messenger () to ask him who will take over the Caliphate. If the authority is given to us, we will know it, and if it is given to somebody else we will request him to recommend us to him. " `Ali said, "By Allah! If we ask Allah's Messenger () for the rulership and he refuses, then the people will never give it to us. Besides, I will never ask Allah's Messenger for it." With regards to the hadith prophesying the coming of the 12 Caliphs from the Quraish, it is a PROOF that the 12 Imams of the shias are not what the Prophet meant in his Prophecy because only 2 of the 12 imams became Caliphs, and one of them Al Hassan r.a. gave the Caliphate to Muawiyah r.a. So I think that the Shias here are not reading history properly.

We have bulk of Sunni reports of traditions in Hadith books from Aisha. What is the reason of it? Even there were other pious and rigtheous wives of the prophet saww like Umme Salma and Umme Ayman, but they have not the traditions more than 5% of those reported by Aisha alone? Is it the reason Aisha was the daughter of Abubakr? or She was the only one who fought a war against Imam Ali A.s. resulting in killinkgs of thouands of muslims?

Aisha & Abu Bakr Behavior Quran 49:2 O you who have believed, do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet or be loud to him in speech like the loudness of some of you to others, lest your deeds become worthless while you perceive not. Narrated Ibn Abi Mulaika: The two righteous persons were about to be ruined. They were Abu Bakr and `Umar who raised their voices in the presence of the Prophet () when a mission from Bani Tamim came to him. One of the two recommended Al-Aqra' bin Habeas, the brother of Bani Mujashi (to be their governor) while the other recommended somebody else. (Nafi`, the sub-narrator said, I do not remember his name). Abu Bakr said to `Umar, "You wanted nothing but to oppose me!" `Umar said, "I did not intend to oppose you." Their voices grew loud in that argument, so Allah revealed: 'O you who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet.' (49.2) Ibn Az-Zubair said, "Since the revelation of this Verse, `Umar used to speak in such a low tone that the Prophet () had to ask him to repeat his statements." But Ibn Az-Zubair did not mention the same about his (maternal) grandfather (i.e. Abu Bakr). So when he entered, he caught hold of her in order to slap her, and said: Do I see you raising your voice to the Messenger of Allah? The Prophet () began to prevent him and AbuBakr went out angry. Why do Sunnis claim that prophets (saw) favorite wife was Aisha when the Quran clearly requires a man to treat all his wives equally. By doing this aren't they implying the prophet himself didn't follow the Quran fully.

Sunni brothers, give me one example which shows that Aisha loved Sayeda Fatima Zahra (as) or any of the Ahlulbayt who Prophet (s) used to love, namely Ali, Hasan, Hussain (Salam on all of them and Lanat with their enemies). Here are a few which shows Aisha was jealous of Fatima Zahra (as). 1. Sayeda Fatima Zahra (as) passed away in 4 months after the demise of the Prophet (pbuh). Aisha did not let Fatima Zahra bury next to Prophet. 2. Prophet assigned his dearest wife Umm-e-Salma (ra) to take care of Fatima and her children in his absence. Prophet ignored Aisha and Hafsa knowing their jealousy of Fatima Zahra. 3. Aisha waged a vicious war on Fatima Zahra's husband Imam Ali, as soon as Imam Ali became the Khalifa. 4. Aisha made her servants and supporters to shoot arrow on the janaza of Imam Hassan, the first son of Fatima Zahra (as) when they were carrying the Janaza to bury Imam Hassan right next to the prophet. 5. Aisha used to show her open jealousy and used to ridicule the most favorite wife of Prophet, namely UmmulMomineen Khadijah who was the mother of Fatima Zahra (as). Bottom Line - Aisha used to hate everything about Fatima Zahra (as), she used to hate her, hate her husband Ali, hate her father Muhammad, hate her mother Khadijah, and hate her sons Hassan and Hussain. Aisha was a known hater. So my question is would she qualify for Jannah of which Sayeda Fatima is the leader of? Thoughts, concerns, comments welcome! Please don't make it a cursing thread. It is haram in Shia Islam to curse Aisha. It is highly mustahib to hate and curse the enemies of Allah, Prophet, and Ahlulbayt.

In this report aired on Fadak TV certain Shias in the UK are celebrating the day of Aisha's death: http://www.memri.org.../0/0/0/6625.htm My questions are: 1 - Are all persons who went to war against Imam Ali in Hell? 2 - Does that include Aisha as well?

Dear reader..please note this article may contain some mistakes..please help me to change them before its being published.. many thanks When ‘Ayesha went to Al-Jamal (The Camel) War, was she a reformer? a corrupter? or aggressor? By Sheikh Hasan Alsheimari Alhaeri Al-Jamal was a war which torn the Muslims unity a part, and separated them into groups. Also, It made a big damage in the Islamic society. If you are wondering about the reasons behind the war, you will only find, grudges and prejudices which were spread as a disease between people. They turned on a fire which burned everything, and opened the doors to seditions which is still remaining open until now. Until this moment of writing these words there is no reasons can be found but those who believe that ‘Ayesha went to the war for reformation! But what is the reformation? And where is it? You will never get an answer. Then you should ask why Alzubair b. Al’awam, and Talha b. Ubaidullah went to war against the commander of the faithful AS in spite they pledged allegiance to him earlier? Whilst Messenger of Allah SAWA said,” he who is out of obedience- obeying his commander- , and was discriminated from the group (the nation), then if he died he will die as ignorance (Jaheli)- infidels before Islam-.” (Review: Almajmo’, by Mohi Aldein: V19, Page 190/ Rawdat Altalbien by Mohi Aldein Alnawawi: V7, Page 271/ Mogni-Almotaj by Mohamed b. Ahmed Asharbeni: V4, Page 124) and you won’t find an answer… Therefore those who giving reasons to the raising of ‘Ayesha should put the following notes in their heads: 1. They putted people above the law, which is an insult to the law, and blatant violation. It is a general concept in the upscale communities that no one is above the law, and has autarchy. Also, if we founded people who are above the law then this is a insubstantial law. Then no one will fear the law, it will have no authority, and it will be like a game controlled by the beneficiaries, as Umayyad, and the Abbasids. 2. if they Talk about reforming, then what did ‘Ayesha, al-Zubair, and Talha gain from the war of Jamal to allow us to say “ they raised for reforming”? and what type of reforming was it while the Islamic society was divided into groups, lost its unity, and they allowed a disease to be spread in the Islamic nation which we still suffering from, although the persistent attempts of commander of the faithful AS to fix it. The Almighty said, “Surely they who divided their religion into parts and became sects, you have no concern with them; their affair is only with Allah, then He will inform them of what they did. (6:159)” 3. the bloods which were shaded, they were precious. And they were supposed to be shaded for the sake of religion, and righteousness, and not being shaded for narrow interests and despotic desires. It was Haram (forbidden) and the law cannot allow it. 4. a military action is the last solution as known in the political regimes and international law. Before the military action there supposed to be dialogues, and visits, aiming to find a suitable atmosphere to resolve the crisis. If they failed then they work on a military solution. It is known that dialogues and negotiations always lead to results e.g. Convergence of views, while the military action makes a gap between the parties and make a barrier between them, and they may never meet again. That is what happened in al-Jammal. 5. One important question: who gave the fatwa (advisory opinion) of the raising of wives of the prophet SAWA? Thus there is no fatwa or a tradition which allows the raising of women, especially the women of the prophet SAWA. Allah the almighty SWT ordered them to stay home in a clear verse. The Almighty said, “And stay in your houses and do not display your finery like the displaying of the ignorance of yore; (33:33)” the verse is clear when it stated (stay), which means not to go out, especially that the wives of the prophet SAWA are in the place of role models of Muslim women. Naming the wives of the prophet with (Umahat almomenen) the mothers of the faithful was for their high statues, and any raising and disobedience from them will be recognized as major sin and dangerous. ‘Ayesha was the one behind the instigation to kill Osman, then why she raised to avenge him? If you want to avenge for assault Osman , then ‘Ayesha was the one who rouse against Osman b. Affan. She was going around markets and raises the shirt of Messenger of Allah and says, ”here is the shirt of Messenger of Allah did not get old yet, but Osman recognizes his-the messenger- laws as the old laws” (Review: Sharh Nahjul-balagha by ibn Abulhaded Almu’tazeli: V20, Page 22/ Aljamal by Almofeed: Page 228/ Alnasaeh Alkafeia by Mohamed b. Aqeel: Page 173) Altabari also stated that ‘Ayesha said, "Kill this old fool (Na'thal), for he is unbeliever." (Review: Tareekh Altabari by Altabari: V3, Page 477/ Alkamel fe Altarekh by ibn Alatheer: V3, Page 207/ Ketab Alfotoh by Ahmed b. A’3tham: V2, Page 421) Also Tareekh Altabari stated the following: “ When she arrived to (Serf) on her return, Abdullah b. Um Kelab met her- He is Abd b. Abu Slamah, his lineage goes back to his mother-, she said to him, “ What’s the news? “ he said, “ They have killed Osman, and they remained eight!.” Then she said,” Then what did they do after?”. He said,” The people of Medina assembled together ,and they did well, they voted unanimously to Ali b. Abu Taleb.” she said,” By Allah I wish this sky collapse on earth, if this was real to you friend-Ali-. Take me back!, Take me back!, “ Then she left to Medina saying, “ By Allah, Osman was killed oppressed, By Allah I will avenge him” he said to her,” Why?! By Allah you are the first deviant, and you used to say ” Kill Na’thal! He is a blaspheme” she said,” They repented him then killed him. And I said and they said, and my last saying is better than the first one!” then he said (recited a poem),” The start was from you , and from you the clouds, From you the winds, from you the rain, You ordered us to kill the imam, And you said to us he is a blaspheme, Here we followed your orders to kill him, And his killer who gave the order between us, The roof did not collapse on us , nor the son eclipse, nor the moon, people pledged allegiance to Tha-tadar (Ali) he is the great fighter, and the man of wars, and the one who is faithful is not like the treacherous” Messenger of Allah warning ‘Ayesha from going out, and his prediction became real Messenger of Allah warned her from sedition, and from going out after he explained to her what will happen in details. He SAWA said, "I wonder which one of you will be the instigator of the Camel Affair, at whom the dogs of Hawab will bark, and she will be the one who has deviated from the straight path. As to you Humayra (i.e., ‘Ayesha), I have warned you in that regard." (Review: Fateh Albari by ibn Hajar: V13, Page 711/ Mosnad ibn Rahweih by Izhaq b. Rahweih: V2, Page 32/ Aleste’ab by ibn Abdulbar: V4, Page 1885/ Sharh Nahjul-balagha by ibn Abulhaded Almu’tazeli:V9, Page 311/ Seiar A’lam ALnobala by ibn Aldahabi: V2, Page 198) Ibn Abbas narrates that Messenger of Allah said to his wives: Who amongst shall be the rider of the camel who when marching, shall have the dogs of Hawab bark at her? Thereafter many people shall be killed on her left and right sides, she would subsequently survive after which she will be made to feel guilty’. In Tareikh Altabari the following event was recorded, Alzohari said, “Then ‘Ayesha heard dogs barking . She said,” What is the name of this water area?” They replied, “Hawab” she said, “We belong to Allah, and to him we return” she exclaimed. “I am she. I heard Messenger of God say in the presence of his wives ‘ I wish I knew at which of you the dogs of al-Hawab will bark!’” Sunni scholars blaming ‘Ayesha, Talha, and Zubair for blood shading of Muslims on the war They did a disastrous damage in Islam existence since the early days until present day. They did a big wound and left it bleeding, and they knew this wound will be the reason behind other wounds. Therefore many scholars from the Sunni doctrine bargained to blame ‘Ayesha, Talha, Zubair and Marwan b. Alhakam for what happened in Aljamal. Abdu-qaher Aljurjani said in (Ketab Alimamah),” the jurists of Hejaz (Arabian Peninsula) and Iraq among those who follow the school of hadith and Alrai-opinion-e.g. Malik, Alshafe’e, Abu Hanifa, Alawza’e, and the majority of Muslims. All of them agreed on that Ali AS was rightful when he fought against people of Seffein, as he was rightful with people of Jammal. And those who fought him were aggressors and oppressors” (Review: Faiz Alqader, sharh aljame’ Alsageer by Almenawi: V6, Page 474) An odd shocking notice! It is surprising to see a group of people who still standing up for to ‘Ayesha, Talha, and Zubair and finding reasons for shading the blood of thousands of Muslims. They assume that the reasons behind this corruption were goodness and reformation. Other people likes to give them the statues of jurisprudents, whom being rewarded for shading the blood of Muslims. While they turn severely against us, and fight us crawly, when it comes to Imam Hussain’s AS revolution and his raising against the tyranny of Yazeid b. Moaweiah. We could see them announcing on public that Imam Hussain raising against Yazeid was a mistake. They claim that corruptions happened because Imam Hussain AS raised and fought against the hard headed tyrant Yazeid. What kind of standards that makes ‘Ayesha and killing thousands of Muslims a reforming, and a conscientiousness, while Imam Hussain AS raising is being a corruption and depravity! (Certainly you have made an abominable assertion, The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces,). All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and peace be up on Mohammed and his progeny, the kind, and the pure.
