Assalamu Alaikum Dear Brothers and Sisters, I hope this message finds you in the best of health and iman. I am writing here with a heavy heart, seeking clarity, understanding, and perhaps your guidance. I am a 3D artist by profession, and like many of you, my life was profoundly transformed by the spiritual treasures of Islam—particularly the duas of Imam Hassan (عليه السلام), Imam Hussain (عليه السلام), Imam Zainul Abideen (عليه السلام), and others from the purified Household of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). Their words awakened a deep connection to Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) in my heart, inspiring me to use my skills to share these gems with the world. When I decided to create a 3D animation of Imam Hassan’s (عليه السلام) dua in Urdu, I first turned to our Sunni books and collections, hoping to find his supplications. To my dismay, I found none. It was only through Shia sources... I discovered 14 beautiful duas attributed to him. These supplications, filled with wisdom and humility, moved me deeply. I wanted to share them in a creative way to inspire others. I shared my project on a Sunni forum, politely asking for help to verify or find Imam Hassan’s (عليه السلام) duas in Sunni texts. Instead of support, I faced hostility. The moderator accused me of promoting “Shia content,” claimed I was “portraying Sahaba” in my animation (though it was a generic 3D figure), and banned me without discussion. [Screenshots of the exchange are attached.] I am not here to stir division. My goal is simple: to use my art to spread the light of the Ahl al-Bayt (عليه السلام). The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said: “I am leaving among you two weighty things: the Book of Allah and my Ahl al-Bayt. If you hold fast to them, you will never go astray” (Muslim). If loving and sharing the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (عليه السلام) makes me “Shia” in the eyes of some, then I ask Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) to unite us all under the banner of their love. May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) guide us to the truth and protect this Ummah from division. Jazakum Allah Khair,

(bismillah) (salam) I hope all of you are in the best of health and Imaan. So, I think we all know of the aHadith that say that the love of Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them all) is a prerequisite for entering Heaven. But, I have also heard of aHadith in many Urdu lectures that list those who will not love Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them all) and one of these is an illegitimate child. I get why that they can't be judges, etcetera as a precautionary measure but what about loving Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them all). I mean, it's not the child's fault whatever sins his parents. Plus, not being able to love Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them all) would mean that, according to the other Hadith, they can't also go to Heaven. So, is there any explanation to this or are these Hadith which make this claim dha'eef?

For those interested in learning about the honorable creed of the Ahl al-Bayt (which is embodied by the Zaydiyya), feel free to ask any questions you may have and I will seek to answer with clarity, detail, and reference to primary sources from the very works of the progeny! This thread is not intended to be polemical, as the aim of it is to first clarify. As one may agree, it is unwise to attack a view without first understanding said view. Nonetheless, critical, and rigorous questions are highly encouraged.

Ghadir: Key Teachings from the Last Sermon of the Prophet - Maulana Syed Muhammad Rizvi | Friday Juma Khutba June 30th, 2023 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQRGB_joUUU - 'Idul Ghadir is celebrated after 'Idul Adhaa and is significant in the faith and history as it links the institution of nubuwwat and imamat. - Ghadir was the Prophet's last formal sermon and the largest gathering he addressed. - The sermon discussed various teachings and values of Islam, including the sanctity of a Muslim's life, prohibition of interest, ending tribal strife, changing sacred months for political agendas, Shayṭān's influence, women's rights, brotherhood of the ummah, equality among believers, and the importance of inheritance laws were also emphasized. - The main message of Ghadir was the issue of succession, appointing 'Ali as the mawla, the master, the guide, and the Imam. - The Prophet highlighted the sanctity of a Muslim's life and honor and criticized the lack of respect for life among Muslims. - Trustworthiness and the sanctity of others' property were emphasized, reflecting the character of the Prophet and 'Ali. - Women's rights were addressed, emphasizing mutual rights and the responsibility to fear displeasing Allah. - The message of equality among believers, similar to the message of Hajj, was highlighted. - Holding on to the thaqalayn (the Book of Allah and the Prophet's family) was emphasized as a means to avoid going astray. - The statement "Allah's Book and my family" is found in three of the six major sources of Sunni hadith and is considered mutawātir, narrated by 120 companions. - The statement "Allah's Book and my sunnat" is not found in the ṣiḥāḥ sittah and is considered unauthentic.

Salaam, Posting a topic after a long time So a dear brother ( @sunni muslim ) asked why is the "Quran and Sunnah" not enough. This is a fair question and deserves some thought so here are somethings to think about. It's important to note that whoever believes the quran is enough (Hasbona kitaballah) is wrong because authentic Sunni narrations confirm the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) specifically mentioned "Quran and Sunnah". Denying a clear edict from the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) makes such a person munafiq? Why did some prominent sahaba reject this authentic edict from the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and only accept Quran? Are they from the hypocrites then? Authentic sunni narrations also tell us that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) confirmed "Quran and AhlulBayt" as well. If the Prophet said "quran and sunnah" and "quran and ahlulbayt", then why do sunnis insist on "quran and sunnah" only? Are sunnis openly rejecting another edict of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)? Surely if the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said both, then the shia and sunni stance should be "Quran + AhlulBayt + Sunnah". Anything less would be rejecting the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), would it not? The shia stance on this is very clear. We take the Quran and the sunnah of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) as confirmed/explained by the AhlulBayt. Did the Prophet say "Quran AND (Sunnah OR AhlulBayt)", "QURAN OR (Sunnah OR AhlulBayt)"; "QURAN AND Sunnah AND AhlulBayt"; Let's ignore the AhlulBayt for the moment and focus on the sunnah. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said "I am leaving behind Quran and Sunnah so you don't go astray." Immediately after the demise of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), Caliph Abu Bakr and subsequently Caliph Umar prohibit the narrations of sunnah, burn down written sunnah (500+ narrations at least). Did Abu Bakr and Umar purposely defy the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and in effect lead the Ummah astray. The argument put forth is that the Caliphs did not want sahaba to narrate wrong traditions. But these sahaba would have heard the narrations and seen the sunnah first hand. Surely adl-e-sahaba would mean no erroneous traditions within the first 5 yrs of the demise of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Caliph Abu Bakr burned 500+ narrations for fear of being wrong. Could it be that he remembered the narration "Prophets down leave inheritance" incorrectly. This is a conundrum. If the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said "Quran and Sunnah" and Abu Bakr + Umar clearly denied the transmission of sunnah, what does it make them? How could the 2 closest sahaba reject a clear edict of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)? I would love to hear some other thoughts on this topic. P.S. @sunni muslim - I did not want to derail the other thread but our conversation was going to go in circles: Sunni Muslim: why is "quran and sunnah" not enough ShiaMan: because the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said "Quran and AhlulBayt" Sunni Muslim: he said both but tell me why "quran and sunnah" is not enough ShiaMan: errrr, because he said both???

al-Biṣāṭ fī Uṣūl al-Dīn By: al-Imām al-Nāṣir lī al-Ḥaqq al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. ʿUmar b. ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn b. ʿAlī b. Abī Ṭālib Between your hands, dear reader, is one of the many works of guidance that the Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt (upon them be peace) have authored for the sake of your intellectual, spiritual, and religious salvation. The Prophet (upon him and his Ahl al-Bayt be peace) informed us in the mass-transmitted tradition that he left behind the Book of Allāh, and his progeny, and in adhering to both of them - the Book which is the guidance of Allāh, and the progeny who are the guardians of God’s guidance we may confidently cling to the unadulterated message of our Lord delivered by His trustworthy Messenger (upon him and his Ahl al-Bayt be peace). For, the dialects are many, the whims are vast, and the circumstances are dire. Therefore, it became necessary to hold onto this blessed household, the community of the Noble progeny which does not err when arriving at a matter collectively. As, it is not that the Sacred Scripture is unclear, nor the traditions of the Honorable Messenger convoluted. Rather, it is by the expansion of the religion, the corruption of the rulers, and the urgency to distinguish what has become unclear due to the boisterous Islamic atmosphere that our Noble Prophet (upon him and his Ahl al-Bayt be peace) willed for us to adhere to those who would guide to the essence of the message, as it was during the Prophet’s presence. The Glorious Qurʾān was revealed in the language of the Arabs, and therefore miraculously spoke in the context of their tongue, however, when the religion of Islam spread, and the Muslims became more diverse, its divine writ was interpreted, and understood in lieu of the variant understanding of language that the Muslims had. As such, we found beliefs in determinism, corporealism, and political quietism rising by reason of being distanced in understanding the language of the Arabs, and the Qurʾān; mistakenly mixing the decisive, and allegorical verses. In addition to the weak resolve of some who promoted such fallacious beliefs due to the fragility of their foresight, selling the content of their Lord for a cheap sum, and a transient standing; forsaking the service of Allāh for the service of their lowly inclinations, and despotic rulers. The message of the Holy Prophet (upon him and his Ahl al-Bayt be peace) which has not been misconstrued by the transgressions of some, the deviance of others, and the misconceptions of many is to be found alongside those who he (upon him and his Ahl al-Bayt be peace) informed would veer us away from Ḍhalāl (misguidance). For, the school of the Ahl al-Bayt (which is actively embodied under the Zaidīyyah) is a school that shows you the fruits of its firm tree. Taqlīd (emulation) within this school is not permitted in its Uṣūl (fundamental beliefs), for it is a school which calls for firm conviction, and precision. Now, one may ponder, if their Uṣūl cannot be emulated, then, how can we be certain of their conclusions, or ours? You see, the magnificence of this school is that it follows a deductive rhythm, it places for you, the seeker of truth, the solution, and presents you with the formula that will necessarily lead to it. For instance, if one were to be, as will soon be demonstrated by our Imam bound by the Qurʾān, and its language. Then, they would have already accepted a necessary premise that would lead to the deductive conclusion provided by the Ahl al-Bayt (upon them be peace). What can be more liberating, and refreshing? You are not only presented with an ark of salvation, but you are also obligated to test the durability, and reliability of this ark before embarking on it in journeying towards the Beloved! May this work serve as an illumination for the heart, a clarification for the mind, and a means of rejuvenation for the spirit, and may it be a catalyst for you, dear reader, to act immediately in support of this Noble Household. Peace be with you. I've never really understood the business and economy behind investing. Could someone with (advanced) knowledge or rather experience about this, explain it to me? What does the sharia' say about investing in companies and having shares etc. What do the maraji' say? Is this something that is halal or haram? Jazakallah khair. (I have heard incoherent answers that's why i'm hoping someone would clarify this)
