  1. What does Islam say about writing fiction stories such as novels or short stories? I am not talking about adult or horror stories, although i am fascinated by horror and I am currently writing a horror story but I might never share it with anyone if it crosses the line. I find the art of story writing to be an excellent accompaniment to my psychology studies. By exploring different characters and their states of mind it helps me to deal with issues in my own life too, especially childhood. I enjoy creating chemistry between different characters. Writing stories also helps me to relax and express myself which has been a major issue in my life. I also think it has the potential to promote positivity in society between people and address complicated issues. Is there anything that islam does not allow in writing or reading fiction stories?
  2. (salam) 1. This is incident of Khawaja Naseer ud Din Tusi and is famous one. Once he went to a village and as it was late night, he asked one of the villager to give him space to spend night there. The villager asked him to sleep in the room. Khawaja Naseer ud Din told him that it is very hot inside, it is better to sleep outside. The villager said "No, it will rain here tonight". Khawaja Naseer Ud Din was an astrologist therefore, he said I am not seeing any signs of rain therefore, I shall sleep outside. Khawaja Naseer ud Din slept out side but it rained at night. Khawaja Naseer Ud Din was surprised and asked the villager how did not know that it will rain today? The villager said that "My dog remains outside but I have noticed whenever, my dog sleeps inside the room then it rains". So dogs can know the happening of certain events of future. This is the quality given to animals....
  3. salam o likum wa rehmutualah hay wab'rakatu dear brothers and sisters. I was wondering if any of you can kindly help me by recommending a few books on the 14 infallible (peace be upon them) Actually, I'm looking to broaden my knowledge on all 14 infallible (peace be upon them) I'm looking for books that are based on their stories, their teachings, maybe have a few Hadits, and their attributes anything else would be a bonus. I have come across few books online, but In my opinion online books aren't doing it enough, I need a hard copy. Some of you might relate to this. Anyway, any recommendation would be greatly appreciated. I thank you in advance. salam o likum wa rehmutualah hay wab'rakatu
