  1. The moving and inspiring story of Hagar and her journey to Mecca is one of the repeatedly told accounts in Islamic sources, especially the Holy Qur'an. The following comics illustrate the efforts of the faithful wife of Prophet Abraham ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) and her firm hope and faith in the mercy of Allah. On this first part, the incidents that led to Prophet Abraham's ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) marriage and the birth of Ishmael are retold. https://salamislam.com/gallery/comic/life-giving-walk-Prophet-abraham-(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)-and-hagars-marriage After the birth o

  3. Salaam brothers and sisters, With the advent of Muharram, no doubt we are all busy commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (as) - each of us in our own way. At the same time, the enemies of Allah, The Prophet (saw), the Imams (as) and the Ahlul-Bayt (as) are also preparing to attack us – each of them in their own way. We have all witnessed their attacks on azadari and its various rituals and on the concept of Imamate. While we may have our differences on how to mourn Hussain and serve Hussain, no non-Shia has a right to tell us how we should commemorate the martyrdom of Huss
  4. @Sindbad05, @haidermpr Hey guys, if you're interested in continuing the discussion I created a new thread. I'll start with reiterating points: I'm not 100% certain, (not assert what is and what isn't) that the Prophet SAW knew of his Prophethood prior to him receiving revelation, which in a sense extends to he having all knowledge of Qu'ran and Allah SWT prior to. I used 18:110 and 2:285 to support this idea. Upon which Sindbad05 responds with 2:253. Haidermpr brings up a point why certain prophets received imamate, and name mentioning over others. He also ask
  5. Question. What is the difference between Nabuwah and Imamah (Prophets and Imams) in terms of characteristics and Qualities? As there are many narrations in primary shia hadith books which are creating serious doubts. For e.g the following narration says like Messengers and Prophets, Aimah also receive revelations through angel Jibrail, with the only difference being Aimah only hear from Jibrail without seeing him. Here is one more confusing statement from Allama Majlisi.
  6. Assalamoalaykum Wa Rahmahtollah, Just a short question.. How did Imamates wouldn't abolish the concept of Prophethood? Note: Im not looking for debates, but i'm just curious w/ the Imamate issue. Thank you
  7. Latest publication from the Boss: التدابير النبوية لحفظ الرسالة الإلهية (The Prophetic measures to save/protect the Divine Message & Khilafah) It is widely accepted by people with foresight and at least 3 brain cells, that prevention is more sensible than trying to find a cure. It is also accepted by all Muslims that the Holy Prophet (s), is the wisest being to have ever existed/will ever exist, in all universes, pre-history, post-history, across all dimensions, and all worlds. Therefore, one might assume, that he would adopt preventive measures to save the prophetic message in the f
  8. Salam. I have been getting questions from many lately. I will just summarize and list the questions here. Any answer, article, podcast, speech links will be appreciated. So, I can refer the people here in the future. Thanks. What is Salawat? And what does it mean? And why Quran 33:56 orders us to send blessings upon the Prophet? Isn't it to take men of God before God, some kind of idol-worshipping? Why does God order in Quran to remember Him always, yet Prophets and Saints with Him? Why should we always send blessings on the Prophet and his progeny? What is the philosophy behind it? Isn't it
