    Iranians on Shia Chat

Hello all, I was wondering, why aren't there many Iranians on Shia Chat? The majority of individuals on Shia Chat are desis, and there are only a few Iranians on this site. Theoretically, shouldn't there be more Iranians since Iran is the largest Shia country, and most Iranians are proud to be Shia Muslims.

  7. Salamun Alykum Dear Brothers and Sisters. Youtube has got great collection of Iranian Nasheeds and Nauhes recited by very very good reciters MashaAllah but sadly 99% of them don't have captions in English. Can any Iranian brother/sister take up this task to make English subs of 2 videos each week.. It'll be a great benefit for all of us who don't know Persian but want to listen and most importantly understand those Nasheeds & Latmiyaas. Please anyone to volunteer??

    North Korea or Iran

http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/47558.htm North Korea or Iran…Where Will Trump Attack First? By Ron Paul August 01, 2017 "Information Clearing House" - President Trump seems to be impatiently racing toward at least one disastrous war. Maybe two. The big question is who will be first? North Korea or Iran? Over the past several days President Trump has sent two nuclear-capable B-1 bombers over the Korean peninsula to send a clear message that he is ready to attack North Korea. On Saturday he blamed China for North Korea’s refusal to cease its missile tests. He Tweeted: “I am very disappointed in China… they do nothing for us with North Korea, just talk. We will no longer allow this to continue.” One press report from an unnamed Pentagon source claimed that President Trump “is to order a military strike against North Korea within a year,” after this weekend’s North Korean test of a longer-range missile. Iran, which along with North Korea and Russia will face new sanctions imposed by Congress and expected to be signed into law by Trump, is also in President Trump’s crosshairs. He was reportedly furious over his Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s certifying that Iran was in compliance with the nuclear deal – even though Iran was in compliance – and he seems determined to push a confrontation. Twice in the past week the US military has fired at Iranian ships in the Persian Gulf. On Tuesday an Iranian military ship in the Persian Gulf was warned off by machine gun blasts from a US Naval vessel. Then on Friday the US Navy fired warning flares toward another Iranian ship operating in the Persian Gulf. Imagine if the US Navy had encountered Iranian warships in the Gulf of Mexico firing machine guns at them when they approached the Iranians. Facing new sanctions, the Iranian government announced that it will not end ballistic missile testing even under US pressure. The missile program is not a violation of the P5+1 Iran deal unless it is specifically designed to carry nuclear weapons. So whom will Trump attack first? Let’s hope nobody, but with continuing pressure from both Democrats and Republicans over the unproven “Russiagate” allegations, it increasingly looks like he will seek relief by starting a “nice little war.” If he does so, however, his presidency will likely be over and he may end up blundering into a much bigger war in the process. Although Trump’s bombastic rhetoric on Iran and North Korea has been pretty consistent, the American people voted Trump because he was seen as the less likely of the two candidates to get the US into a major war. A recent study by the Boston University and the University of Minnesota concluded that Trump won the most votes in parts of the country with the highest military casualties. Those most directly suffering the costs of war were attracted to the candidate they saw as less likely to take the US into another major war. These are the Americans living in the swing states of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan that surprised the pundits by voting for Trump over Hillary. Will Trump’s legacy be blustering us into one or two wars that will make Iraq and Afghanistan look like cakewalks by comparison? Millions dead? It’s time to make our voices known before it’s too late! Copyright © 2017 by RonPaul Institute.
  12. Salamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah. Recently, a profile which I am sure everyone is aware of, that was defending YH and HA presented me with a set of Hadith against revolution before the Qaim: Al-Kafi vol 8, pg 310, Hadeeth number 483: Omar ibn Handhala says, al-Imam al-Sadiq ‘alaihissalam said, “There are five signs before the rise of the Hujja ‘alaihissalam, the heavenly call, Sufyani, the sinking of the earth, the murder of the pure soul and Yamani. I asked, may I be your ransom, If anyone from your House should make an uprise (khuruj: uprise or revolt to topple the government), should we make an uprise along with him? He said, No. If you are a Shi’a, then remember, it is prohibited until you hear the Saiha and that Yamani has appeared, to make an uprise. That is unless the MI6 and CIA had paid Omar ibn Handhala to narrate this hadeeth. Al-Kafi vol 8, pg 264 Hadeeth number: 382 Our master Syed al-Sajjideen ‘alaihissalam said, “By Allah, no one makes an uprise from us before the Rise of the Awaited One, salamullahi ‘alaih, except that he will be like a nestling (baby bird), who flew off his nest before its wings grew, and kids pick him and play with him. Ibid # 383: Says al-Imam al-Sadiq ‘alaihissalam, “O’ Sadir, stay at your home and be a rug of your house (as motionless and passive as a rug of your house). Don’t move and remain absolutely silent so long the earth and the sky are silent (sinking of the earth has not occurred and the heavenly call/saiha has not been heard). When you hear that Sufyani has risen, come to us, even if you have to walk. Al-Kafi vol 5, pg 22 Hadeeth Number 2: Says the Imam ‘alaihissalam, “Make pilgrimage to this House [the Ka’ba]. Does not each one of you like to be [safe] at his house, have his family prosper through his generosity, and wait for OUR RULE. If he should live to see Our Rule, he will be like the ones who were with the Rasool of Allah salla Allahu ‘alaihi wa Aalihi wassalam at the battle of Badr. If he should die, while waiting for Our Rule, he will be like the close companions of the Awaited One ‘alaihissalam who will be with him at his tent”… Al-ibid pg 23, Hadeeth number 3: Bashir al-Dahhan: I said to al-Imam as-Sadiq ‘alaihissalam, I saw you in my dream and I said to you in my dream, Fighting under the banner of someone other than the Infallible Imam, appointed by Allah, is haram like eating rotten dead animal, drinking blood, and pork. And you said in my dream, “It is indeed so”. Al-Imam al-Sadiq alaihissalam replied [in wakefulness], “It is indeed so, it is indeed so”. I can myself comment that some Hadith before Imam al-Sadiq about the Qaim refer to Imam al-Sadiq themselve as Shaykh Hamza Sodagar pointed out. As for the rest of the Hadith's I contacted the office of Grand Ayatullah Nasr Makarem Shirazi (H) on the issue and received the following answer: Answer: We also believe that any uprising in the name of Imam Mahdi before His reappearance is condemned to failure and belongs to the Tyrant. But if an uprising is for the sake of Allah and in order to pave the ground for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (AS) and to implement the goals of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS), then it is approved and is consistent with jurisprudential certainties and the rulings of Enjoining good and forbidding wrong. According to the certain documents "Islam without government," is a disfigured Islam which is free of content, and in fact is an Islam without Islam. Again, a group resist opposing the issue of Islamic government. The source of this opposition is, in fact, two things including mental aspect, and the aspect of narrations. The mental aspect is that, they have a bitter memory of the governments and they believe that in the current situation no one is able to form a divine government and implement Islamic justice. But in terms of narrative, they follow some narrations in this field which are not restricted to what you mentioned. The concept of narrations is that "every flag, which is set up as a government before the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (AS), is either a flag of delusions or condemned to failure." Pay attention to the interpretations of these traditions and they are as follows: 1. It means the uprisings which are carried out without the permission of infallible Imams (AS) or religious authorities or the general deputies of the Imams at the time of occultation. 2. It means the uprisings which are carried out to invite oneself and not to invite to the goals of the infallible Imams (peace be upon them), as mentioned in many narrations. The uprisings meant here is restricted to the ones that there was no preparation for such uprisings. So, the Imams (AS) talked in this way to prevent these premature or immature uprisings. Wishing you all the success Ayatollah Makarim Shirazi’s Office / Istifta’at section Allahuma Sali Ala Muhammad Wa Alee Muhammad.

  14. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/aug/18/saudi-arabia-talks-alliance-rebuild-iraq-return-arab-fold It seems a serious hole in the Shia world is in the making. Iraq is drifting towards its Arab neighbour Saudi Arabia, leaving Iran further isolated. The article says that Muqtada Sadr has long been a critic of Iran's influence. And Saudi Arabia is opening a consulate in Najaf. All this is very ominous of a greater Wahabi influence in the Muslim world and beyond. I personally think Iraq should move closer to KSA ONLY under the condition that they restore Jannat ul Baqi and agree to joint control of Mecca and Medina by all Muslim nations. What do you guys think?

  16. English Pakistani Sunni scholars pilgrimage Imam Reza holy shrine (AhlulBayt News Agency) - Twenty Sunni scholars from Pakistan living in England went on pilgrimage of Razavi Holy Shrine in Razavi Karamat Ten Days Celebration. According to Astan News, head of this group said, “A 20-person group including prominent and effective religious scholars residing in England visited Mashhad and Razavi Holy Shrine”. Ja’far Najm stated, “After visiting Razavi Holy Shrine, the group met with Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Imami, Educational Assistant of Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, and got familiar with activities, fields of study, establishment method and cultural activities of this university”. He recognized Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Holy Shrine as a center for unity of Muslims and added, “In addition to receive spiritual emanations, pilgrimage of Sunni Muslims in this holy place consolidates Muslims’ unity”. On the sideline of his visitation in Razavi Holy Shrine, Seyyed Amir Hossein Naqvi, another member of the group stated, “Grandeur and vastness of this holy place is exemplary and unexplainable. Devotion and affection toward Imam Reza (A.S.) is like an elixir which close our hearts to each other, despite of our different Islamic sects”. Birmingham’s Friday leader said that western countries try to tarnish Islam’s face by forming and supporting Wahhabism and Isis. He also added, “Unity among Sunni and Shia Muslims has to be followed seriously so that we can resist against evil plots of the enemy”. “Thanks to God, I have had the success of visiting Razavi Shrine for a few times. However, I am very happy today because my current visitation is happening in Karamat Ten Days Celebration”, he stated. Qur’an museum was introduced by Birmingham Friday Leader as one of the most equipped museums in the Islamic world. He also added, “This museums’ Qur’ans can be found nowhere and it has perfectly shown greatness of Islamic culture to the people of the world”. It is worth mentioning that the group visited Astan Quds Razavi’s physical education institute on the first day of its presence in Mashhad. It should also be mentioned that during their presence in Mashhad, members of this group also met with Ayatollah Noori Hamedani. http://en.abna24.com/news/iran/english-pakistani-sunni-scholars-pilgrimage-imam-reza-holy-shrine_845238.html

  18. Assalamu alaikum As many are aware, there are many conspiracy theories that the Revolution in Iran was a Western made up conflict because the shah was becoming more nationalist and getting "out of their hands". So they destroyed the regime and made it appear as it was anti-West (just like they are thought to have done with ISIS). I only want Revolution defenders' response to such accusations... I would appreciate if you don't get out of the topic and please reply through rational thinking.
  19. Young Greek teacher converts to Islam in Razavi Holy Shrine (AhlulBayt News Agency) - Coincident with the birthday of Hazrat Masoumeh (A.S.), the Greek teacher converted to Islam in the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.). The young Greek teacher influenced by his Muslim students converted to Islam. "I grew up in a Christian religious family and I always had questions that I did not find their answers," Gracious, 34, from Philadelphia, said about changing his religion. "Many students in my schools are Muslim immigrants, and relationship with them caused that a window to the facts opened for me", he continued. Stating that the lifestyle and behavior of these children gave me a great lesson, the Muslim convert added, "This friendly relationship with the students brought me a lot of advantages and made me familiar with the religion of Islam and the Shi’ite in particular.” "With respect that most of these immigrants have migrated illegally to Greece, they live in difficult conditions yet they keep trying to learn," said Gracious. The Greek young man emphasized, “This effort is rooted in their deep inner religious beliefs and their faith in God, the One for whom they perform prayer every day to talk with, and fast in the hot and long days of the summer.” Noting that Christians have a specific day and place to speak with God and pray, he added, "But Muslims do not have special time or place to worship, unlike Christians who worship only in the church, and they can supplicate with God at any moment and this is the greatest advantage of Islam.” "I believe Islam is a peaceful religion and tries to have a good relationship with all", the Greek teacher stated. He expressed satisfaction that the Greek government has promised to construct a mosque in Greece, and added, “Despite the opposition of the Greek Orthodox Church, I hope that the doors of the mosque will be opened to the Greek Muslims in the future.” "I'm glad that on such a day and place I converted to Shi’ite Islam. I ask Reza (A.S.) for a beautiful and peaceful life. Noting that today the extensive domination of media over the world does not allow for keeping relationship with other countries, Muhammad Jawad Hasheminejad said, “The imperialism-running media do not allow people to have good relations with each other; yet, the same media have enabled the people of countries to communicate with each other and learn about one another’s culture.” He stressed that in this turbulent space, the media can be an effective means of showing the facts to other countries and revealing the reality of Islam to all. It is notable that at the end of the ceremony, a volume of Qur’an and several religious books were donated to this Muslim convert by the Management of the Non-Iranian Pilgrims of Astan Quds Razavi. http://en.abna24.com/news/iran/young-greek-teacher-converts-to-islam-in-razavi-holy-shrine_844474.html
  20. Iranian calligrapher donates rare Quran to Astan of Hazrat Abbas / Pics (AhlulBayt News Agency) - Iranian artist and calligrapher Seyed Ali Asghar Mousavian donated a rare copy of the Quran that he has calligraphed to the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine in Karbala, Iraq. The copy includes calligraphy of the Quran in three scripts of Thulth, Naskh and Reyhan. According to al-Kafeel website, he said a special natural ink has been used for writing the Quran copy, which weighs 3 kilograms. Mousavian added that he spent ten hours a day for two years to complete the artwork. Earlier this year, on the occasion of Imam Ali (AS) birthday, the Iranian artist donated another Quran copy written in gold to the Astan of Imam Ali (AS) in Najaf. 21. Salamu Alaykum. There has been a hadith commonly used by Sunnis (and shias who hate Iran) that I am sure all of you know: حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ، بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَمِّهِ، أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ يَتْبَعُ الدَّجَّالَ مِنْ يَهُودِ أَصْبَهَانَ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا عَلَيْهِمُ الطَّيَالِسَةُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ Reference : Sahih Muslim 2944, In-book reference : Book 54, Hadith 155 it talks about Jews from Isfahan joining the Dajjal. Just a few points: 1. Nowhere is the hadith is "Al-Faras" mentioned. 2. The arabic says "asbahan" however there are 3 ancient names for Isfahan none of them are "asbahan" So back to the point could you guys/women share Hadiths about characteristics of Dajjal and Imam al-Mehdi? And who will follow them etc? Thanks
