I've been following these fires for some time and it's becoming more and more worrying across NSW and Victoria. There's news that thousands of Koalas have died! Apparently 30% of the population in NSW. I'd appreciate it if our dear members down under can provide updates because most news sources are painting a grim picture. https://www.9news.com.au/national/thirsty-koala-approaches-cyclist-for-drink-as-temperatures-reach-40-degrees-sa-heatwave-video/331865bb-65f6-4a92-ba92-a5ed655cc4b8 https://www.theguardian.com/world/video/2019/dec/27/were-helpless-thousands-of-koalas-probably-dead-after-wildfires-video 'Up to 30% of koalas on New South Wales's mid-north coast may have been killed and many more may be endangered in South Australia in the country’s ongoing bushfire crisis after experts warned fires are the biggest threat Australian wildlife faces Nationally, more than 5m hectares have been burned in an unprecedented bushfire season that has also killed nine people'

The first part of a multiple part series looking into the incident of the door, made over the past few weeks by a Shi'i brother in Morocco. In this first video, he explores the narration of Umar's threat in the musannaf of Ibn Abi Shayba. He refutes Uthman Al-Khamees' attempt to weaken the narration, and demonstrates how others who have reported the same narration have omitted Umar's words in different ways such as cutting it short and saying there is "a story", or reporting that Umar said "so and so" etc.

Salam, While discussing with some brothers about jinns and angels, a question came up that bugged a bit: It is known in the Quran and hadith that jinns are created of fire (or smoke) and Angels of light and that both are invisible to the eye. If they are creations they ought to be observable (eyes or not) with the technologies that we have or will have in the future. Or maybe the use of the words fire and light are metaphors and they are consisted of some energy (or matter) that we cannot observe (yet)? Or is it possible that they live in another dimension that we don't know of? Please feel free to give your thoughts or share with us some verses, hadiths about this topic. Thanks for your attention

I'm trying to gather some information on hell-fire, I'd like to know of any non-literalist views on what the fire may be/ representing. Any info, personal view or from a particular source would be great Thanks
