  1. This question is for everyone but specifically @DigitalUmmah @Lover of Ahlulbait (ams) @Spiritual : We have seen several threads that have been started by people who are vehemently against the practice of bloodletting. It is a very divisive issue in our community when it does not have to be. A lot of other members have also commented on those threads and gone anywhere from ridiculing them to rejecting them outrightly (Nasibi, etc.). And of course no discussion would be complete without us seeing the pictures of little boys being 'qama-ed' and backs full of blood, etc. So I got to thinking, if we are going to share bloodletting pictures, then let's share true bloodletting pictures so that we can all share our collective disgust over them. Heck we could even have a competition over who can find the most offensive picture of blooldletting. For example: Anti-Blooding: pic of a boy with qama crying Me: pic of a boy killed in a blast Anti-Blooding: pic of a man with qama Me: shia man shot in the head Anti-Blooding: pic of a shia with zanjeer w/blades on back Me: shia men shot in the back Anti-Matam: pic of one-handed matam vs two-handed matan Me: pic of shia with one or both hands chopped off Anti-Blooding: pic of shias running over hot coals Me: pics of shias with their legs chopped off Anti-Blooding: pic of multitude of shias doing bloodletting Me: shia mosques/imambargahs suicide bombed. I find it a little bit perplexing that we worry about a few scratches on our heads and backs while we are being slaughtered across the Muslim World. I am not sure why more shias on ShiaChat are not vocal over the true bloodletting aka shia genocide taking place across the world. What do you think of this pic competition?

  3. (bismillah) (salam) I am planning on developing an application that would generate visualisation/graphs depicting how much Shi'as have been killed in Pakistan, and are being killed daily. My hope is that developing such applications would make the problems Shi'as face in Pakistan more pronounced to the 'outsiders'. However, to ensure that we achieve the aforesaid objective, we would need to: 1. Ensure that the app developed presents the data effectively (using appropriate visualisation) and convey our problems concisely. 2. Ensure that the data we have that is fed to the app is regularly maintained. I am currently working on step 1: I have a skeleton of the app, and I am still refining it. I hope to start materialising the idea soon. For step 2: I collected an Excel sheet which was compiled by Let Us Rebuild Pakistan. However, after I tried cleaning this data, I did not find it to be fit for purpose, since the total number of Shi'as killed in previous years as per the website did not match the data. Therefore, my request is: would user(s) from this site like to volunteer so that we create a similar CSV file containing relevant data, store it online, and keep it maintained (updating it once or twice a week)? Many thanks. (wasalam)
  4. (bismillah) (salam) First of all my condolences to Imam zaman (as) ,all you momineen o mominaat and Rahbar Syed Ali khamenei on this occasion. In this thread i will post the problems faced by pakistani shias in this holy month of muharram.so we all can be aware of what is going on in pakistan and may be inshallah we get a bigger picture of what the great devil and its allies are trying to achieve. i pray to God that may Allah guard every muslim in every aspect and give us the love of Imam Hussain (as) and give us taufeeq to follow him (as) Iltemas e Dua Pre-Muharram shia killings in Karachi 2 days before the start of muharram,6 shias got killed in the biggest city of pakistan i.e karachi. Federal Government and its policies Almost a week before the start of this holy month,a provincial minister of ruling party(in federation as well as in punjab which is biggest and most resourceful province of pakistan) appeared on tv in a press conference and announced that there will be no majalis and juloos(processions) but those who are registered with government so we can manage their security effectively(you all know about effective security of shias in pakistan-sarcasm) section 144 was applied which prohibit an assembly of more than ten people in an area.
  5. Aslam u Aliekum; Few months ago, I was talking about Shiite killings in the Pakistan and I had to show them a snaps too. But when I try to find out then I faced a lot of problems. Some times, Users mistaged the Snaps. For example, I looked at one snap which was related to the bomb attack in the Bralvi mosque (Peshawer) & User used it as a bomb blast on Shiite Mosque.in the Peshawer. He was unable to verify that snap and hence, mistakenly uploaded wrong snap. Although, there are few other good sites are available on the Face book especially Shia killings who posted snaps of the Martyred Shiites but still I decided to make a one more page on the topic of the Shiite genocide in the Pakistan. I have collected the snaps from different online web sites & write a text on each snap in the English about the detail of that incident. So, it can be helpfull to any one who want to search for snaps related to the Shiite genocides in the Pakistan. You are invited to look at this page too. It can be helpfull for those who want to write about Shiite Genocide/killings in the Pakistan. At the moment, I have uploaded over 400 snaps and God willing, with the Passage of the time, I shall keep on adding it (About Past incidents). https://www.facebook.com/ShiiteGenocideinPakistan Allah Hafiz, Saleem

Agar Shia Kafir maan bhee liya jayae toe kya kissee bhee Naam Nehad Musalmaan ko yae ikhtayar hassil ho jata hai kae Kafir ko jahan chaho mar doe? Islam toe Insaniyat ka mazhab hai. Kya Dunya kee kisi tehzeeb ya mazhab main iss tarha kee barbariyat jayaiz hai? Kya yae log Islam, Pakistan or Musalmanon ko badnaam nahin kar rahae? Ham kiss mu sae dunya main Musalmano kae Qatl e Aam kae khilaaf baat kartae hain jabkae hamarae haan koee Musalmaan bhee dosrae Musalmaan sae mehfooz nahin hai? Kya Dunya kae kissee Kafir mulk main bhee Masjidon kae baahir aisee law and order kee situation hotee hai jaisee Hamarae mulk yanee "Islamic Republic of Pakistan" main hai? Sochain herr baat ko America or India or Israel per dalnae sae kuch nahin hota. Yae insaan numa darindae aap nae khud palae hain. Ham kiss mu sae Qayamat kae din Allah ka samna karain gae? 8. Shia Killing And Salafi Fundamentalist From time to time, I read about condemnations of Islam coming from non-Islamic groups, especially concerning the all-too-common violence perpetrated in the name of religion. Indeed there is plenty to condemn. Salafi fundamentalist despite verbally professing a desire for peace and justice in the world, are actually pro-war, pro-homicide and pro-violence in practice (or they may be silent on the subject, which is, according to moral theology, the same as being pro-violence). I use the term fundamentalist in the sense that the religious person, who ascribes to a fundamentalist point of view, believes, among other dogmatic belief, that their scriptures are inerrant and thus they can find passages in their holy books that justify homicidal violence against their perceived or fingered enemies, while simultaneously ignoring the numerous contradictory passages that forbid violence and homicide and instead prescribe love, hospitality, mercy, forgiveness and reconciliation. Behind the scenes, of course, there are hidden elites — amoral, politically and financially motivated operatives who are embedded in their religious organizations — who, through the strength of their political power, can easily manipulate the followers into clamoring for sectarian war. Though history has long since been forgotten or ignored, the true followers of the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), rejected violence, tried to return good for evil, fed the hungry, did acts of mercy and unconditional love and tried to make friends out of their enemies (by caring for them, feeding them, praying for them and certainly refusing to kill them or pay for somebody else to kill them). Soon after the death of Prophet, Islam became a religion of justified violence, contrary to the teachings and modeling of Prophet, and it remains that way until this very hour. The followers of that very Salafi Muslims should be courageously “going to the streets” and saying “NO” wherever and whenever fear and hatred raise their ugly heads and try to provoke violence — no matter if it is coming from anywhere – or from within the local Sheikh. Thank You, Raza Mehkeri Houston, Texas
