  2. 65 of Maliki’s MPs rebel against him Nouri al-Maliki, outgoing Prime Minister, will claim that his party betrayed him. His party will claim that they are working for the national interest, and obeying Ayatullah Ali al-Sistani. 65 out of 92 MPs of the Maliki-led State of Law Coalition (SoL) left the SoL and backed Haider al-Abadi as PM. The 65 were joined by 34 MPs from the Ahrar bloc (party of Muqtada al-Sadr) and 29 of Citizen bloc (party of Ammar al-Hakim) to take the total to 128 MPs. The President, Fuad Masum, defined them as the largest bloc and asked them to form a Government. They ha
  3. If this was truly the case, then Wow! Thank you America! Great move! Stop these extremist scums! I do not want the US to turn into the likes of UK and Australia where these extremist hate mongers who despise the shias and want to kill them, roam free. Can you believe it?! She was 19 and a "convert" wooow... How did the US Army Explorers allow her in the course if she shared such a senseless belief? "A 19-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly trying to provide support to Islamic State of Syria and the Levant (Isis), it has emerged." "According to a criminal complaint filed wit
  4. ****He does not mean Ahlul Sunnah is the enemy as a whole, but those who hide behind it (ISIS and like), extremists, killing and slaughtering all, women and children, destroying shrines and mosques, taking over cities.
  5. Isis & Al Nusra Merge & Announce Islamic Caliphate - Obama to Send them $500 Million Apparently the Obama administration wanted to send Al Qaeda a house warming gift. Sound like an exaggeration? It's not. ISIS and Al Nusra have decided to join forces, and have announced the formation of an Islamic Caliphate covering much of Iraq and Syria. As if to congratulate them (or as a housewarming gift), the Obama administration is planning to send them an additional $500 million dollars. Sound like an exaggeration? It's not. ISIS began as a branch of Al Qaeda. In February of 2014 the offic
  6. Salams, I frequently listen to the below embedded Latmiyat, however I do not know what it means, it would be great if someone could translate. Thanks!
  7. Is Iraq spiralling out of control or what ? Nothing but car bombs and sectarian violence , how many civilians have been killed this year alone by Sunni ,Wahhabi, Shia violence ? I just met a security officer from Iraq who served 3 years and even he can't believe what's going on these days . Is there any fix to this mess ? It's sheer madness is it not ?
  8. So the terror export deal is sealed. Pakis sold it cheap this time. Paki government recently received the 1st installment of the $3 billon deal with Saudi government to ship battle hardened Takfiri Talibans to Syria. The terror man power will be shipped along with the paki made anti-tank and anti-air launch pads. Although a very bad news for Syrians and resistance there but also a sure shot doom and gloom for Pakistan too as the blow back would reach Pakistan this time which is already sandwiched between three of the BRIIC nations. Would Syria be able to counter this new waves of trained fi
  9. So the House of Saud is stockpiling weapons. Check. Saudi Arabia's Prince Bandar bin Sultan, financing/weaponizing his growing army of mercenaries in the Levant. Check. And the House of Saud is up to something with its ally Pakistan. Check. The House of Saud is trying to amass as many Pakistani "advisers" as possible to train its paid goons in Syria. The official Pakistani non-denial denial is that they won't be sending their army to Syria. But in a remix of Afghanistan during the 1980s jihad, a bunch of seasoned "advisers" will more than suffice. Former paki spy chief was recently given a k
  10. Some street/school names in Saudi Arabia (occupied Hijaz). A school named after Yazid (the murderer of Imam Hussain) A school named after Abu Lahab (one of the greatest enemies of Prophet. Sura Lahab in Qur'an admonishing him) Abraha Al Habshi Street (the Abraha who conspired to destroy KAA'BA. Sura Feel in Qur'an adminishing him and his army) Mosaylma Street (Mosaylma Kadhab, the first Arab declared his false prophet hood)
  11. I am someone who was hopeful of Sunni shia unity or at least co-operation would come at some point after all theres no point in keep fighting at some point there will have to be a truce especially meaning a truce between salafis and shias, its not funny but possible, problem was nobody proposed negotiations this concerns two elements despised oppositely by sunnis and shias, jihadi salafis & hezbollah shias or iran supporting shias I write this in the context of the overwhelming trend (I know nothing is 100%) which is what actually matters hezbollah with iran has lost credibility i
  12. http://imhussain.com/e_index.php?ac=news&id=33%C2'> In the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the Aid and Charity Fund in the Shiite Endowment began distributing subsidies to the needy and orphan families registered in it, in compliance with the directive of the head of Shiite Endowment his Eminence Sayyid Saleh al-Haidary. A source in the Media Department of the Endowment reported that the manager of the Aid and Charity Fund, Sayyid Abdul Redha Hadi Saleh, confirmed in a press release that 6213 families including those who have orphans, widows and divorced spouses are registered in the Fund.
  13. The Mosque of Imam Ali (a) or (the large mosque of Basra ) is the second mosque built in Islam after the Prophet's Mosque, and the first mosque built in Iraq about 14 AH after opening Al-Madina by the leader Utbaa bin Ghazwan, and it remained a historical monument to impact and known as Imam Ali (AS) step mosque of Imam Ali (a) .The reason for this is due to the visit of Imam Ali (AS) and pray in it during his caliphate in 36. And the mosque is gaining a religious importance for Muslims where they means in some religious occasions.
  14. Anybody else is losing hope in so called clerics.... and great-great-grand-grand Ayatollahs and religious circles in Najaf-Qom? Does anyone else miss the kind of Imam Khomeini (r.) and only if we had someone like him in today's world in Iraq or Iran or elsewhere? Now, they are entering in Shias houses, massacring the entire families... killing their women and children, bombing their houses..... AND GET AWAY WITH IT? In South of Baghdad? This news just ruined my day...and I just can't handle reading such brutal incidents taking place around the world. ----------------------------------------
  15. Salaam alaikum May Moula(a.s) help everybody who is a believer. Here I post a few stepsthatthe government as well as the public can take towards solving conflicts or any problemsthat arethere. 1). If tax is the problem, migrate to a nation where the law of the nation demands you to pay less tax.Not lesser than you wan't to pay. 2) if hijab and Islamic law is theproblem, migrate accordingly. If you wan't to do morehijab and the government does not allow you, migrate to a place where morehijab is allowed. If youdo not wan't to do hijab, migrate to any country where the government or culturedoe
  16. Since, fall of Saddam Hussien in 2003, Iraqi government failed to create a national identity. Today when you go to Iraq your either Shi'a, Sunni, Kurd, ect. There is no national sprite, bribery is very common, security is nonexistent, and each group is trying to obtain as much power as possible. Political posts have turned into securing foreign allies, based on sectarian lines, and security posts have turned into a tool to make a fortune, not to serve the county. The military's loyalty not lies with the country anymore. Under secularist Ba'ath government (60s-2003) Iraqi people had strong
  17. (bismillah) (salam) Dear brothers and sisters, I want the books which can provide me detailed reports about atrocities upon Shia Muslims and Shia Scholars by Saddam in Iraq. I also want books which can provide me detailed reports about atrocities upon Shia Muslims, Holy Jannatul Baqi and other places by Ibn Saud. Can I get links to the websites that offer good books and the names of books. I sincerely wish for books that give me in depth reports about both the issues. Regards, Aun Ali
  18. Greetings! All of a sudden I got to know a riwayat reguarding today's syrian crisis by Imam Haider A.S. This riwayat expells the future events from syrian crisis to appearence of Sufyani step by step. We should be proud of being a Shia that are Imams prepare us for the upcoming circumstances. 19. 1. Pan-Kurdish congress planned to unify ranks amid regional turmoil2. A Kurdish-Turkish alliance As Kurds were segregated into four countries in the 1920s, a part of Kurdistan went under the control of the Iranian government up until now and Kurds in this part have suffered a lot because of being a minority and whenever they have demanded their basic rights they have faced repression and human rights violations. Kurds always tried to achieve their absolute basic rights as human-beings and demanded their rights through dialogue and negotiations, but they’ve got only bullets, repression, imp
  20. This has to be the only article that i,ve read about Iraq that describes the situation accurately and how it truly is. Not an Iraqi civil war Iraq is, quite simply, on the receiving end of a major al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) offensive. AQI remains one of the most capable of the al Qaeda affiliates or regional franchises. As a percentage of the population, Iraq has lost more of its citizens to al Qaeda explosives in each of the past three months than the United States did on September 11, 2001, according to AFP statistics, which show there were more than 400 casualties in each month of April
  21. Ok it's been my observation, some of you may concur, others won't: Until the fall of Saddam, Iraqis used to be a big "mirage unity" guys. Pakistanis used to tell them of Wahabis and you would get ridiculing looks. 10 years down and suddenly you see Iraqis yelling and cursing Wahabis. Iranians till late were, "no brother, don't use the word Wahabi, don't say it's Salafi, we all are Muslims". Starting with Jandullah in Balushistan and now in Syria, same repeat of cursing and yelling at Wahabis. So what do you think, Pakistani Shias are more aware of Wahabi politics and tricks? Are Iraqis and Ira
  22. Salaamu 'Alaikum, I made a video in regards to this previous Arba'een mashi (walk) from Najaf al-Ashraf to Karbala al-Muqadissah. It is unedited just a collection of videos during my walk, also I didn't have an expensive camera, so the quality may not be that great. Nonetheless, this is a video of my experiences which I would like to share with you all. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xwvcrv_arbaeen-2013-mashi_travel#.USwiW9SdY-h -Agha Shabbir Abbas
  23. The Syrian government to destroy the terrorists and their ZioSalafi backers in Aleppo in the next few weeks and give an end to their activities in the city as promised by President Assad last week. Go Syria & its Allies! Liberate Aleppo! _______________________________ Syrians clash around 12th century mosque in Aleppo BEIRUT (AP) -- Syrian rebels clashed with regime troops in the narrow stone alleyways around a historic 12th century mosque in the Old City of Aleppo on Thursday, while a government airstrike north of the city killed at least seven people, activists said. The rebels, who ha
  24. Salam Brothers and Sisters, I was wondering if any of you have been on this short vacation course offered by the Imam Al - Asr organization. I've already registered and have completed all the necessary requirements for this program. I was wondering if someone would let me know how their process went and if you went from Canada that would be beneficial as well. Also if you could explain what else do you do there after the shrine visits? and weather or not if it is hard for Canadian or UK or American citizens to come into this program? and overall how much would you recommend other people to go
  25. It is no secret that across the world shias are being massacred. This past weekend many shias have been killed in TARGET KILLINGS throughout Pakistan, and not just in Quetta. This past friday Peshawari Shia's held a protest over the TARGET KILLINGS of several professionals yet the pakistani media didn't even bother to cover it. The same pattern is being shown through out the world, Iraq too had seen numerous attacks this past weekend. That being said I'm advocating for shia's in volatile countries, bereft of law and order to move and migrate to more developed countries. There are many ways to
