https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/aug/18/saudi-arabia-talks-alliance-rebuild-iraq-return-arab-fold It seems a serious hole in the Shia world is in the making. Iraq is drifting towards its Arab neighbour Saudi Arabia, leaving Iran further isolated. The article says that Muqtada Sadr has long been a critic of Iran's influence. And Saudi Arabia is opening a consulate in Najaf. All this is very ominous of a greater Wahabi influence in the Muslim world and beyond. I personally think Iraq should move closer to KSA ONLY under the condition that they restore Jannat u

My only problem is that I don't know how the education system for Iraq's high school work and how many subjects they have and what kind of subjects. Also, is the education good there? Every answer is much appreciated.

I am Syed Abbas Ali and belongs to the family of Imam Jafar Sadiq. Basically My grand father had lost a major portion of our shajrah while migrating to Pakistan, and only a part containing 10 generations before me is left with him. None of his children (my uncles and my father) tried to complete it and he died when I was 2. My Far related grandfather (3rd Cousin to my grandfather) told me that My grandfather did tried to get the whole Shajrah back but was failed in this attempt as those of our relative in India and Lahore refused to provide us with that in fear of some sort of Property.

What would you suggest me in the pre-chelum and post-chehlum days? Any suggestions, recommendatio

Iraq censures 'irresponsible' remarks by Turkey's Erdogan Erdogan said the Turkish army would not take orders from Iraq to leave the country. "Who's that? The Iraqi prime minister. First you know your place!" Erdogan said in comments addressed to Abadi. "He is insulting me personally. You are not my interlocutor, you are not at my level," the Turkish president told a meeting in Istanbul, adding, "It's not important at all how you shout from Iraq. You should know that we will do what we want to do." http://presstv.com/Detail/2016/10/11/488634/Iraq-Haider-alAbadi-Saad-alHusse

This recent two-part research essay/article written by a Western journalist under a pen name caught my attention. Thought I'd share:- First part - Washington's Sunni Myth and the Civil Wars in Syria and Iraq Part two - Washington's Sunni Myth and the Middle East Undone To those who know more than me about post-war Iraq and wartime Syria, how accurate is this author? Is it really true that Sunnis were "oppressed" by Shia death squads after the invasion (if they were, I hope the "victims" were just the ones who enjoyed mutilating and torturing the Shias in Iraq for 20+ years under

Salam to all, I have a question in mind. When we had a foreign intervention in Lebanon, Nasrallah emerged and now is consider a leader of Shias and as a source of protection, welfare and rights of Shia in lebanon. When we had a foreign intervention of Iraq in Iran, Ayatollah Khomenei emerged from Iran, totally altered the Iran. But my question is, when there was a foreign intervention of USA in Iraq, we had a chance to alter the Iraq but on the contrary Ayatollah Sistani avoided it for some reasons. Iraq is still suffering. What do you think? I want some fruitful discussion. Wha

SaIam bothers and sisters I have a question from you I wonder how fast and easily Iraq and Syria was taken over by ISIS. Why is that? They have no airplane, warship, heavy armor like big tanks and so on, but they had most of these countries under the control. They are no formally trained soldiers, just some ignorants gathered in one place holding a gun. How is that possible that two big countries with a bunch of soldiers, troops, Intelligent services, armed forces, police, tanks, airplanes, war experience, militants, etc easily failed protecting themselves? Murtaza HussainApr. 13 2016, 11:35 a.m. MORE THAN 90 PERCENT of young people in Iraq consider the United States to be an enemy of their country, according to a new poll. After years spent justifying the war as a “liberation” of the Iraqi people, the survey casts further doubt on the success of that endeavor. The poll was conducted by Penn Schoen Berland, a public relations and market research firm co-founded by controversial strategist Mark Penn, and was sponsored by a Dubai-based affiliate of Burson Marsteller, once described as “the PR firm for evil.” Still, the undertaking, a
