  1. You know most converts to shia all started with this very question. Why do shia beat their chest? What they didn't realise is this very question would lead them to a string of very important questions which will leave them from defending sunni sect to questoning them. Questions like... What was karbala? Why did the so called muslims go against the prophets grandson? Who was fighting for power & who was defending for truth? Who put yazeed (la) in power? Why was there such a difference in numbers of the armys? Imam Hussain (as) was known as phrophet grandson, by thousands by did no one come to his aid for help? What was yazeeds father mawiya character? Who put mawiya in power? What was the conditions of Imam Hassan (as) between mawiya at hudiybiya? What was the incident at imam Hassan ( as) janaza? Why did mawiya go to battle with Imam Ali (as) at siffin? Was abu sufyan a enemy of islam after convert or a true follower? Why did yazeed say karbala was in revengance? Who put marwan in governance? Who put ziad in governance? You begin answering these questions & await the many more questions to come..... This is how effective our matham chest beating, azadari is... Be sincere with your self & the clear proofs will unfold.
  2. Brother beating the chest for a shia is a sign of ones emotions, it's an expression of our love for ahlebaith (as) & at the same time it's a protest against the tyrants of this world. (Of all time from yazid (la) untill the tyrant s of today's age) Its an uprinsing to overcome oppression. its todays response to imam Hussain (as) call la bayak... Its the response to bibi paak Batul (fatima zara as) when she says who will cry for my son Hussain when he will be left all alone on the earth of karbala... It is our gratitude towards all shaheed e karbala, its in our nature as within our humanity our emotions will only naturally come to surface after hearing the recitation of hazrat Ali asghar (as) thirst. We often oppose a limitation to our knowledge due to our ignorance. Where as we should limit our ignorance to increase our knowledge.
  3. Beating and mourning by Ayesha and the other wives of the Prophet (S)As narrated by al Tabari in History Volume 9 page 183 (English translation by Ismail Poonawalla)Abbas narrates: "I heard Aisha saying "The Messenger of God died on my bosom during my turn, I did not wrong anyone in regard to him. It was because of my ignorance and youthfulness that the Messenger of God died while he was in my lap. Then I laid his head on a pillow and got up beating my chest and slapping my face along with the women". Beating and mourning by Bilal Sheikh Abdul Haq Mohaddis Hanafi Dehlavi who is regarded as one of the greatest Scholars of the Sunni Sect, describing the events at the fatal illnes of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) in his book 'Modaarejun Nubuwwat' vol II page 544 records:-"Bilal emerged beating his head and loudly wailing (from the room of Aisha)." Fatima Zahra (a.s) hearing the rumour of the martyrdom of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) at Uhud came out of her house running and beating her head Sheikh Abdul Haq Mohaddis Hanafi Dehlavi According to Musnad of Imam Ahmad Hanbal Vol. 6, page 274; Aisha mourned the demise of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) with other women by beating her head. Imam Baqir (A.S.) said:He who remembers us, or in whose presence, we are remembered, and (as a result) tears flow from his eyes, even though they may be in the measure of a wing of a mosquito, Allah shall construct for him a house in paradise and make the tears a barrier between him and the fire (of hell).Al Ghadeer vol. 2, pg. 202. Allamah Shibli Numani al Hanafi is a renowned Sunni scholar from the Indian subcontinent, in his Sirat-un Nabi (Eng translation Volume 2 pg 74) quoting Sirat Ibn Hisham we read following Hadhrath Humza martyrdom:Beating and mourning by the wives of the Sahaba. Beating and mourning for Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal deathFrom the book of 'Hayatul Aaiwan' it is recorded that : "Caliph Mutawwakil ordered breast-beatings to be held at the spot where funeral prayers were offered over the dead body of Imam Ahmad bin Hambal (a founder of one of the Sunni schools of thought). Accordingly, some 25,00,000 persons including Muslims, Jews, Christians and Majusi gathered there and mourned Ahmad bin Hambal with breast-beatings."
  4. I am aware just wanted to divert where ur discussion was going ? time of allegiance When zubair was told today you befriend Imam Ali (as) & will come a time when you are aginst him.. It was zubair & tahla's sons who were present at the time of the barking dogs & they lied about their location so the battle would commence..
  5. Panzerwaffe.... You forget even Tahla abandoned Ahisa in the battle of Jamel when they recalled the account of when you hear the dogs barking you will be at wrong..... Or was that zubair ?? Her uncle...
  6. You people are way off topic... I suggest you keep your opinions to your selfs in this regard.. You are seriously in breach of toheen towards Rasool paak (pbuh & holy household).. This advice comes from a shia brother... I request both Sunni & shia to please refrain from such a subject... Allah KNOWS BEST.... Lets leave it at that... No more said......
  7. Brother you realise you not questioning others on this forum but in fact you are questioning our beloved prophet ((pbuh & holy household). Sunni ,shia agreed hadith.... Iblis asks why should I bow towards Adam (as).. He infact does not realise what is the greater. The command??? Or who the command is coming from ?????
  8. Salat is a combination of worship & preyer.... My opinion your real Namaz begins after you come off the preyer matt.... After you have asked the All Beneficial, The Merciful for your forgiviness of sins, then is the time to turn your vows into your deeds. In other words your actions. The aim is to not recommit the sins you have just asked repentance for. Begin Stead- fast is your namaz (kaim or Qaim) is key to paradise correct ??? Then let's turn to who we receive this Namaz from.... To REMAIN stead-fast with the holy Prophet (saws) ((pbuh & holy household) is essential for the promise of paradise.. If you turn your face from your Qibla then Namaz becomes invalid... Recognise the Qibla brothers..... What it was.... What it is today.... What the coming will bring... The end is the beginning & the first is the last.... The idolisers know not their wrong , due to their following of their father's... Dont let your father's be the destruction of your final destiny which was written by our creator before our existence... YA ALI MADAT (as) Who guides us to our prophet's teachings & Which is the reason of our sinsere love towards Allah'S worship...
  9. The biggest battle (jihad) is to fight whisper in your head & to search the truth... The truth is something many can not understand..... As the clouds uncover ,the sun shines its brightest.... Similarly haaq can not be recognised without bahtal... Evil is uncovered to reveal the good... Iblis has been freed to fullfill his will until THE KNOWN TIME...
  10. I have had this experience.... It all starts with seeking something but you dont know what... Then later your thinking goes into a deeper motion, you see matters in a different light.. Loss of sleep due to over analysing your thought's... Then seeing faces changing into things you can not describe.... Hearing words from the winds as if it is talking to you... Then come time of unsettlement, a sence of distraction, a weird feeling of fear but your not sure why.. Your dreams are as if your in search of treasure of knowledge, but the gards of this knowledge come to you in indescribable images, faces & force's. These are the obstacles you mentioned... For me these experience give me sincerity through my own deeper emotions, I often was weeping after such a journey & then came a time when I was unable to sleep, infact did not want to sleep, it got to apoint were I kept family member's up all night for weeks just to avoid these journeys, it became beyond my control.. Then I build up the courage to see it through to the end .... & the end after much traumatic sensation for me was a clear light... I saw literally nothing but a bright shining light (noor), there was no image no sound no voice no fear no anxiety, not even emtions just a bright light....
  11. If we are not brothers of blood..... If we are not brother's of faith.... We can atleast be brothers in humanity..... Our opinions are driven by analysing literature within historical events.... Our mentality is driven by the influence's of the righteous personalities.. Our core purpose of being is to distinguish good from evil... Our aim is to do just with the oppressed.... Our identity is known when we unvail the truth... We can't turn our faces from ahlebaith (as) knowing what traumatic sufferings they have endured at the hands of the tyrants of their time. We also want unity but not at the price of betrayal towards the holy progeny... Bro If we are not brothers of blood..... If we are not brother's of faith.... 12. The prophets are guidance. Their big scale objectives the creator knows best... My opinion our life's are to distinguish truth from false, righteous from the oppressor's.. There is only one great creator no matter what our different faiths may call upon the beneficent.. Jesus (as) & Imam Mahdi (as) are to unite the good against evil.. There will be no difference in their teachings & all misconceptions shall be resolved. Jesus (as) will call upon is ummah (followers) & Imam Mahdi (as) likewise people of his ummah. Then there will be a period of evil dajal or anti-crist what ever you wish to call him. But the good will prevail over evil in the final battle in which the followers of the righteous shall overcome the tyrants. This will be a joint effort of both ummahs. Then comes a time of JUST rule for a period then the shahadat of our pure leaders & soon after the trumpet of judgment blows.. Now it's the time to be held accountable for our deeds.
  13. "Your quote... In it are so many Ahadeeth commanding the following of Ahlul Bayt . I do not reject the Sunnah of Rasulullah (saws), neither the reports of the Sahabah , but now after reading this precious book; I really believe we must follow the Ahlul bayt , there is a Hadith in Muslim which proves all of the Ahadeeth concerning the following and loving Ahlul Bayt to be valid, and only a hypocrite who claims to follow Rasulullah (saws) will reject them, because he doesn't really follow the Sunnah, he follows his foolish whims and desires." Question brother do you consider Imam Ali (as) to be ahlebaith? Do you consider mauwiya to be sahabah? Then why did mauwiya rebel against Imam Ali (as) (ahlebaith). Carefully Read your post above before answering these questions especially the last sentence.... "and only a hypocrite who claims to follow Rasulullah (saws) will reject them, because he doesn't really follow the Sunnah, he follows his foolish whims and desires." The Quran has many verses in reqards to munafiq (no name's mentioned before you ecuse me),these are people who claimed to be followers but were in fact back biters... However even these people were at one point regarded as sahaba... Are they sunnah of prophet ((pbuh & holy house hold)) Due to logic the best form of sunnah can be achieved from ahlebaith (as) The fact that there was many companions is what results in different teaching's of sunnah today... These teaching's contain contradiction & much confusion in regards to the true sunnah of our beloved prophet ((pbuh & holy house hold)), you will notice this through the many different mosque's today. Labbayk was also called by Imam Hussain (as).... How many responded to Imam's call ?. Thousands of sahaba... How many of their offspring responded to Imam Hussain (as) call ... ??? LABBAYK YA HUSSAIN (A.S)
  14. My conclusion of the method used in my earlier post... "Human's are pray of their own inner emotions...." "as the needle on the clock indicates the present time. , your good deeds indicate pardon for your past sin's...." " your soul is a protected layer for your heart, so keep your intentions pure...." " the greatest deception is the lies you tell yourself, in order to create an false image of yourself..."
  15. There are some very good comments & opinions on these posts & the topic is really of great importance in all our life's. I particle agee with the post about "nahjul balagh" the true answers can be found within this great book. However patience is required to understand true meanings of Imam Ali (as) saying's, it is best reading it more then once to benefit. I have an audio version, & it truly give's much comfort listening to the words of wisdom of Imam Ali (as). Grief comes with essahas ( realisation, wake up call, sympathetic) not really sure what true translation of essahas is in English , but it develops a feeling within which is sincere. I believe this feeling of essahas plays a great role in helping us to avoid sin's. This is why we carry this essahas 1400 years into the future in the days of muharram & all year round at times of our personal happiness also grief. This essahas will be the repent of our sin's.
