  1. God is all knowing. He knows what came, what comes and what would have come. Man knows the human lifespan is short but still decides to take their desire as God and trade eternal life for an illusion. The Quran speaks about oath breakers many times such as here: 43:50 - But when We removed from them the affliction, at once they broke their word. The logic behind eternal punishment can be explained by verses such as this one: 32:12 - If you could but see when the criminals are hanging their heads before their Lord, [saying], "Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so return us
  2. That 'totalitarian corrup police state' was the most diverse and one of the safest countries in the Middle East pre 2011. The only thing that 'killed' Syria was "Assad must go". It's not even a civil war when most of the fighting is done by imported foreign terrorists, supplies and weapons. And it certainly is Good versus Evil when you know the history of the 'bad guys' that ruined Libya just recently.
  3. So Hamas = all Palestinians now? What about the Jerusalem brigade that is fighting the terrorists in Syria right now?
  4. I know you asked for ahadith but I wanted to add this verse 58:7 - Have you not considered that Allah knows what is in the heavens and what is on the earth? There is in no private conversation three but that He is the fourth of them, nor are there five but that He is the sixth of them - and no less than that and no more except that He is with them [in knowledge] wherever they are. Then He will inform them of what they did, on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed Allah is, of all things, Knowing.
  5. This verse is close [24:4]And those who accuse chaste women and then do not produce four witnesses - lash them with eighty lashes and do not accept from them testimony ever after. And those are the defiantly disobedient, [49:11]O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then
  6. What Assad and Hezbollah are doing in Syria is much bigger than protecting shrines. They are fighting world oppressors led by America and its zionists. Syria happens to be a strategical point that its fall may signify a great victory for the world opressor and a tipping of balance nearly as colossal as the fall of the Soviet Union. Tragedies in Syria unquestionably happen but to blame Assad when most Syrians are flocking to his territories of control makes zero sense. Assad gains nothing from bombing his own people, it's a waste of money and resources. If you have no alternate news ne
  7. Who spilled blood on the day of Husayn's martyrdom? The allies/army of Yazid. So whose taqleed are the tatbiris following? One could call it the Shia of Yazid. Husayn ibn Ali died for something big, the spilling of his blood saved Islam. The blood letting on muharram is spilled on nothing for nothing, what it does is create more division and pulling people away from Islam.
  8. May the blessings of Allah be upon this strong and wise leader. The timing of Nasrallah seems to be on point aswell. People increase the amount of rituals every year with pagan-like qualities that have nothing to do with mourning or honoring Husayn. A bit off topic but have you guys seen the RT news version of Ashura? It is age restricted. Edit: Can a mod put it in a spoiler or turn it into an url? I just copied the Youtube link but it transformed into a video here.
  9. She was prophet Lut's wife, chosen by Allah, Lut loved her, by that juncture she is deserving of...yea, no. We know what happened to her as she was to be remained behind. Relatives and wives are not guaranteed belief as per Al-Quran. Furthermore, the title 'mother of believers' does not guarantee the belief of the mother. To add, verse 66:5 hints at better women. So your argument is rather weak if I had to say it bluntly. Starting a war is a pretty serious matter, especially when it costed so many muslim lives.
  10. a) I've seen many muslims cling to this type of verse to justify their laziness. I've heard someone quote it even for the daily prayers! You should try reading the Quran in this month, it will clear the misconception you have. For Allah will surely test you with hardship in many, many ways. You have to remember this is only 1 month out of the 12. Thank Allah that He blessed you with the ability to eat whenever you want because there are plenty of people who starve to death on a daily basis. b) The Quran was not sent to Medina or Mecca or Arabia. It was sent to the whole world. Good n
  11. You don't fast for 20 hours unless you never sleep. I have the "20 hours" aswell but the actual hours depend on when you wake up. It's 15 for me. Waking at 7 am, iftar at 10 pm. I eat once a day, no hunger whatsoever. If you have a healthy body, you fast. You just have to schedule your daily activities. S[Edited Out]ping hobbies such as bodybuilding can do wonders. It's just 1 month after all. And besides, the longer the fast the better the reward. [2:183]O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become ri
  12. Seems like the dirt wasn't enough to stop him from saying: "I believe that there is no deity except that in whom the children of Israel believe, and I am of the Muslims." The verses: [10:90]And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them in tyranny and enmity until, when drowning overtook him, he said, "I believe that there is no deity except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of the Muslims." [10:91]Now? And you had disobeyed [Him] before and were of the corrupters?
  13. May his death trigger the demise of the British empire's creation, Al Saud. These ruling stooges have become bolder and will most likely never notice unless their blood is spilled. It already sparked outrage in neighbouring countries. All diplomatic relations should be cancelled and foreign Saudi embassies closed for starters. No doubt they are seeking a military confrontation with Iran, I hope the latter acts prudent. Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un.
  14. I just skimmed through the replies and found this one to be pretty short and accurate. There are ridiculous failed suicide news stories, from people surviving a gunshot in the head to landing unscathed from a building jump. An individual decides to commit murder or suicide on a certain day, hour, minute, second of a timeline. A succesful attempt means it was permitted, decreed and ultimately validated by Allah before that individual was even born that the time and means of death happened the way they had to. Now the average atheist will point out that it is a case of predetermination so how
  15. Falcon, you are trying way too hard to make people on this forum hate Palestinians. Your trolling is a tad bit overdone. Kerry needs to invest in less obvious ones. The only functioning muslim country free of slavery and strongly feared by the world opressors is non other than the Ummah's minority(Shia), Iran. The governments that formulate the rest of the "Ummah" are shackled by the neck and staunch petro dollar worshippers, hardly Islamic. I'm not Iranian nor Shia but I'm very proud of their progress. Who's 'we'? You are alone. Try lifting the IDF boot for starters. Let's play your g
