  1. Hello Everyone, I recently got divorced 2 months ago after having a bad marriage. However though, my sexual urges were strong and i wasn't able to control them and temptations arised. I contacted my Ex-Wife who is still in her iddah period (just completed 2nd menstrual cycle) and we had intercourse. I had no intention of taking her back as my wife or i wasn't sure if i did want to at the moment because my sexual desires clouded my judgement. After intercourse i felt extremely guilty and sad as i am still grieving from the divorce. Did i commit zina?
  2. As a person who lived in the west my whole life i never have dated our even interacted with females. I am overlooking her past engagement because she didn't do anything wrong i just have to ignore my arab tribalistic ego. I am just worried my family wont do the same. My mom does want me to get married to a muslim girl in the west she just prefers a family whom she trusts like a family friend or a cousin.
  3. well first to start off i am 20 years old. I asked a close cousin(girl) of mine if she has any friends that will be a good for marriage. With in a week or two she found a girl for me. Me and this girl talked for couple days and one thing that she told me was that she was previously engaged to a guy but married under islam. in addition to that her brother and his sister were also engaged. However though because her brother and his sister ended there engagement, it lead to family problems where her engagement was affected and the engagement was cancelled. She told me that her and her fiance went out on three dates where the only thing that happened between them is that he kissed her on her cheek. I am confused as to what i should do. I really enjoy this girl's personality and i like her but the fact that she went on three dates where he kissed her sits heavy on my chest even though she was married islamically. I did ask my mom that i want to get engaged and told her that i am interested to this girl and my moms response was along the lines that girls in the west are hard to trust and that i should marry someone my family knows and basically told me that i shouldn't do anything behind her back and i should forget about this girl. I don't know what to do can anybody offer me any advice on how to go about this?
  4. From what i know DMT is a chemical that the brain releases estimated at 5 to 10 minutes before death in which it causes the brain to experience a near death experience where there " soul" transcends the body. According to studies and people's personal experiences is that the chemical DMT can slow time extremely to the individual who is experiencing it so what wold be 5 to 10 minutes on earth can feel like eternity to the person. Furthermore DMT puts a person in a dream like state where anything they desire will be in front of them and can do anything physically that there human body couldn't do. DO you guys think this the missing link between this world and the after?
  5. Did the prophet muhammed kill anyone in battle if so can you provide hadith.
  6. The one regarding that the earth is on a whale i remember reading that somewhere in a forum.
  7. I don't understand Allah knows of the shirk that is involved in these religion and even if they are Christians who don't believe in the trinity they still hold on to to the idea jesus (as) is the son of god. Thats the whole point islam was sent to correct the corruption and deviation of the former religion.
  8. Verily! Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and do righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. S. 2:62 Isn't this verse contradicted by these And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.(3:85) Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allah is the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers. Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allah is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no ilah (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilah (God -Allah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them. S. 5:72-73 And the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouths. They imitate the saying of the disbelievers of old. Allah's Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth! S. 9:30
  9. what is the necessary reason Allah s.w.t starts a chapter with Bismallah alrahmen alrheem it kind of sounds 3rd person like would It not be suitable for Allah to introduce a chapter like in the name of your Lord me the beneficent the merciful wouldn't that sound more first person?

  11. i have a question about what occurred in the 2003 invasion "operation Iraqi freedom", why was the united states able to sweep the streets and take down baghdad and the saddam reign so fast? i was watching a documentary on the military channel and certain individuals were telling there accounts of the battle and i was surprised on what they said. The soilders were saying that the iraqi soilders were trained basically to spray and pray basically shoot randomly and hope it kills some one and how it was so easily to take these targets down and also they said the only challenges were the batthi soilders who the american soilders said they were well trained.it was estimated that about 100,000 loyalist fought the american army how did they get all wiped out with an 30 days or so?
  12. i don't know every time i want to pray i lose the motivation for it on other days i dread it i feel like its such a annoying task to do.
