Dawud Miqdad al-Amriki got a reaction from AmirioTheMuzzy in Why Does Allah (swt) Not Talk 2 Us Directly?
    (wasalam)
Because akhi, Allah SWT has given us free will.
If Allah SWT spoke to all of us directly, the everyone would be a believer, and it would completely change how we behave.
Think of life as a classroom.
When the strict teacher is present in the classroom, all of the children behave or get punished... they know.
But, when the teacher leaves, and the children are alone, then they show their true colours. Some of them behave, even without certainty as to whether they're being monitored or not, and others just act wild with their new found freedom.
Life is just like this, bro, it's a test, and a lot of us are failing it. That's the importance of taqwah-- living your life as if you see Allah every moment, so that you never do any wrong and act like the children who think they're left alone... We're not alone, we're just ignorant.

We Shi'a obey the Qur'an first, and then any hadith which are not against Qur'an. The Prophet (pbuh) never told us to do anything which went against the Qur'an, and Allah SWT doesn't tell us something in the Qur'an just to leave us astray.
This is something the Qur'an-only guys understand well. However they think it's only 3 prayers and not 5. We learn from hadith that it is 5 prayers, but at 3 intervals.
Fajr = first glimpse of sunlight until sunrise
Dhuhr = when the sun has reached its zenith (highest point) and is now descending until before Maghrib
Asr = anytime after Dhuhr but before Maghrib
Maghrib = when the rays of the sun have begin disappearing so that it is clear that twilight will begin soon, until midnight
Ishaa' = anytime after Maghrib, but before midnight
Even in the hadith of other schools of thought they have the Prophet (pbuh) praying Dhuhr and Asr together, and also Maghrib and Ishaa together...

To me, these two ayat are very amazing because they inform us of something about the Universe which we have only recently discovered, and by informing us of this, Allah is encouraging us to continue our investigations and scientific pursuits, and then to reflect on our findings, so that we can understand our reality and the true greatness of Allah which is infinitely greater than we can never imagine.
Subhanallah, this information, from the Qur'an, hadith, and our current understanding of the Universe, really sheds light on the following narration:
Subhanallah... All of the things we know about the Universe, how small we are, how small the atoms are, how large the stars are, how large the galaxies are, how large the visible universe is, and steadily expands... the speed of a turtle, the speed of light... the weight of a feather, the weight of a mountain, the weight of an asteroid.... the darkness of a closet, the darkness of the depths of space.... All of these are but drops in an ocean of wisdom held by our Prophets and Imaams (sa).
Consider the following hadith, which is included as part of the Foreword of Al-Kafi:

I'm saying what the Imaams (as) have said to say, you're saying something else.
‘There is no god but Allah, the One and no one is similar to Him.’
"Allah is distinct from His creatures and His creatures are different from Him and whateverthat is called a thing is a creature except Allah."
If you say anything different from the above, something the Imaams (as) haven't given you authority or knowledge of, then that is severe misguidance and deviation, especially when it comes to your Tawheed, your core Aqeedah.

That video is a disgrace. He talks as if the Shi'a are mainly from Iran, and it's about some Persian-Arab war. That's ridiculous. They quote Fadhlallah at the beginning, that guy has been exposed as more Bakri than most Bakris.
The attack on Fatima Zahra (as) is in both Bakri and Shi'a sources, this guy acts like Shi'a invented it out of nothing.
Learn from Grand Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Shirazi and Sheikh Yasser al-Habib inshallah, if you disagree with them then alhamdulilah find what you like best, but at least look at what they say first.

So far some highly doubtful individuals are criticising fundamentals of Shi'i belief and love, they're mocking us and patronizing us as if we were fools.
Nice signature, you really shot yourself in the foot with it:
The life of this world is made to seem fair to those who disbelieve, and they mock those who believe, and those who guard (against evil) shall be above them on the day of resurrection; and Allah gives means of subsistence to whom he pleases without measure. [Qur'an 2:212, Shakir translation]
And when it is said to them: Believe as the people believe, they say: Shall we believe as the fools believe? Now surely they themselves are the fools, but they do not know. [Qur'an 2:13, Shakir translation]

    Wilayat al-Takweeni
I voted for this on the above premise only.
Ya Allah help and guide whoever votes for these two... na'udhubilah
They're just people, they don't even have the status of Abu Dhar (ra) who you don't say a.s. after.
I voted this, I believe it is not shirk.
Allah loves Imaam 'Ali (as) as one of His greatest creations, and surely Allah will love those who love 'Ali (as).
Seeking nearness to 'Ali (as) and desiring his intercession and desiring to shake his hand on Yawm e Qiyamat, is an act of submission to Allah SWT.
Anyone who misunderstands this has not appreciated the creation which Allah SWT sent to us and chose for us to follow and emulate and get close to Him through.
Just saying it is pointless, you have to know what you're saying and your intention has to be firm.
Saying "La ilaha ilallah" with intention of worshiping Satan is no good to you.

I use Facebook only to stay in touch with my family and to discuss religion and keep updated on current world affairs.
I don't see anything wrong with it, it's a social networking. People can use it for good or bad, the individual should control themselves and not use it for bad.
Girls shouldn't be putting photos up, that defeats the whole purpose of Hijab, and guys as well shouldn't be putting photos up, because it's makrooh to begin with, but if we do then inshallah we keep it proper and not feeding our Nafs.
People need to stop blaming everything and start recognizing they are at fault themselves.
"Oh, Coca-Cola made me overweight", last I checked, Coca-Cola doesn't force anyone to drink it.
"Oh Cigarettes are hurting my deen", Nobody forced you to smoke, stop blaming cigarettes and just don't smoke them?
"Facebook makes me do haraam" Okay, plenty of people use it without doing haraam, so you need to fix yourself.
Seriously, self purification, it involves knowing Qur'an and Ahl al-Bayt (as). THAQALAYN. Once you know them, you're protected insha'Allah. Knowing them is the difficult part. Start learning and cling to wisdom.

Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Jumhur from ‘Abdallah ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman from al-Haytham ibn Waqid from Muqrin who has said the following. "I heard abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) saying, ‘Ibn al-Kawwa came to Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.) and asked, "O Amir al-Mu’minin,(what do you say about; "There will be people on the Heights who know everyone by their faces . . ." (7:46). The Imam said, "we will be on the Heights. We will recognize our supporters from their faces. We are the Heights without whose knowing there is no other way to know Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High. We are the Heights that Allah on the Day of Judgment will make known to everyone on the bridge. No one will enter paradise without knowing us and our knowing them. No one will enter hell except those would not know us and we will ignore them.
If Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, would want to let people know Him He may do so but He has made us the door to knowing Him, the bridge, the path and the aspect to Him. Whoever would deviate from our authority and guardianship or would consider others more excellent than us such people will down off the bridge. People are the same in following guidance. They are not equal with those who have found the sparkling fountains with those who have gathered around polluted waters that fall over other such waters. Such are not equal with those who have found the sparkling fountains that flow by the order of the Lord without ceasing and reduction."
    - Allah SWT has ordained that the Imaams (as) are the only true way to know Allah, and made them the door, the bridge, the path, and the aspect to Him... subhanallah.
    Al-Kafi H 488, Ch. 11, h 3
Ali ibn Musa has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id and Muhammad ibn Khalid al-Barqi from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd in a marfu‘ manner from Sudayr who has said that he asked Imam abu Ja'far (a.s.) the following. "may Allah take my soul in service for your cause, what are you?" The Imam (a.s.) said, "We are the treasurers of the knowledge of Allah. We are the translators of the revelations of Allah. We possess complete Divine authority over all that is under the heavens and those above the earth."
    - Allah SWT has given them complete divine authority over all that is under the heavens and above the Earth, subhanallah.
    Al-Kafi H 356, Ch. 23, h 4
Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad al-Ash‘ari and Muhammad ibn Yahya altogether have narrated from Ahmad ibn Ishaq from Su‘dan ibn Muslim from Mu‘awiya ibn ‘Ammar from abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) who has said the following about the words of Allah. "God has the most blessed Names. You should address Him in your worship by these Names . . ." (7:180) The Imam said, "We, I swear by Allah, are the most blessed names of Allah without which Allah does not accept any of the good deeds of His servants until they know us properly."
    - Allah SWT has told us that He has the most blessed names, and we know to call upon His names, and the Imaams have sworn to us that they are those most blessed names.
    Al-Kafi H 495, Ch. 13, h 1
Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn Mirdas who has said that Saffron ibn Yahya and al-Hassan ibn Mahbub have narrated from abu Ayyub from abu Khalid al-Kabuli who has said that he asked Imam abu Ja‘far (a.s.) about the meaning of the words of Allah e following. "Those who believe in him, honor and help him, and follow the light which is sent down to him, will have everlasting happiness." (7:157) The Imams (a.s.) said, "O abu Khalid, I swear by Allah that it is the Imams from the family of the Holy Prophet (s.a.) up to the Day of judgment who are called light in the above verse. They, I swear by Allah, are the light of Allah whom He sent down. It is they, I swear by Allah, who are the light of Allah in the heavens and in the earth. O abu Khalid, I swear by Allah, that the light of the Imams (a.s.) in the hearts of the true believers is more bright than the light of the sun in the midday. They, I swear by Allah, give light to the hearts of the true believers and Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, may block such light from reaching the hearts of whoever He may will, thus their hearts remain dark. O abu Khalid, no one would believe in our Divine authority except that Allah will cleanse his heart. Allah will not cleanse the heart of a person until he or she will acknowledge our Divine authority and live in peace with us. When one lives in peace with us Allah will safe guard him against the severity of the day of recockning and grant him security against the great terror on the Day of Judgment"

A kafir is a kafir, by the same definitions as any Muslim really. You set up partner with Allah knowingly, you're a Kafir. You believe in Wahdat al Wujud which implies that Allah is manifested in poop, you are a kafir.
You believe that Abu Bakr isn't such a bad guy, you are a Batri.
However, we do have a hadith which says "Anyone who doubts the Kufr of Umar is a kafir" which I've read before.

    She is Shi'a.
I'm not radical akhi, I just follow the books and wait anxiously and patiently for Imaam az-Zaman (ajtf).
I speak the truth inshallah and I enjoin good and forbid evil, I expose misguidance wherever I see it, and I try my best to combat the forces of evil however I can.

Inshallah you're not saying you believe in Wahdat al-Wajood wa al-Mawjood, but these ayats have nothing to do with that concept.
These ayats and the hadith are referring to Allah's creation and glory, and Allah's will, Qadr, and Allah's mercy on a mu'min.
It is not literal, just as when the Imaams (as) say they are the face of Allah, it is not literally Allah's face, they are Allah's creation and know it, but they are the representatives of Allah and are as close to Allah as is humanly possible in the spiritual nearness.
They are not "part" of Allah because Allah does not have parts. Allah does not beget, Allah is not born and doesn't die, humans do, creation does, Allah is not part of His Creation.
The Imaams (as) warned against such beliefs from these deviants:
    Al-Kafi H 239, Ch. 7, h 2
Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa and Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from ibn Mahbub from Hammad ibn 'Amr al-Nusaybi who has said the following.
"I asked Imam abu 'Abdallah (a.s.) about the words of Allah, ‘Say, ‘He is Allah, One . . .’" The Imam replied, "These verses define Allah's relation to His creation. He is the One, Unique, Eternal, and Absolute. He does not have shadow so one can hold Him but it is He who holds things by their shadows. He knows the unknown and is known to every ignorant person. He is only One. He is not in His creatures and His creatures are not in Him. He does not feel nor others can feel Him (physically). Eyes cannot see Him. He is so High that is near and is so near that He is far. Although disobeyed, yet He forgives. When obeyed, He is appreciative. His earth does not contain Him, nor do His heavens bear Him. He holds all things through His power and He is Everlasting and Eternal. He does not forget or amuse Himself. He does not make any mistakes or play. There is no lapse in His will. His judgment is rewarding and His commands are effective. He does not have a child to become His heir nor is He begotten so His power would be shared. And there is no one like Him."
Naudhubilah, the position of Islam and the Imaams (as) is clear, there is absolutely no room to misinterpret this.
