  1. "The group" is vague. Do you mean Sheikh Yasser al-Habib himself? If so, what evidence do you have? If you mean "The group", be more specific, just because someone attends his gatherings doesn't mean they represent him. "The group" may represent him just as "The Ummah" represents the `Aimmah (as), which we know is not representation at all.
  2. Qur'an curses openly: Surah Al-Masad May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood. Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber. So you're saying we're disobeying Allah and Imaams (as) by cursing openly when it's established in the Qur'an, Sunnah, and `Aimmah's (as) prayers? This is Tawalla and Tabaraa, it is enjoined on us to speak out against evil and to disassociate from it, or else we're part of the problem. The Qur'an tells us "And the Jews will not be pleased with you, nor the Christians until you follow their religion. Say: Surely Allah's guidance, that is the (true) guidance. And if you follow their desires after the knowledge that has come to you, you shall have no guardian from Allah, nor any helper." (2:120) This is true for the Bakris as well, they will not be happy with us until we become Bakri. Bakris curse each other. Shaf'i and Malik cursed Ahmad ibn Hanbal. Ibn Taymiyyah cursed the majority of the ummah! And today Salafi curse Sufi and non-Salafi as well as curse other salafi who aren't Salafi enough! While they're busy cursing and condemning billions of people to hell, we're cursing and condemning only a few! And we're only cursing and condemning in accordance with Allah's command and the Sunnah. Look at these anti-Shi'a websites for example, you can see how they're fully aware of what our books say, and what we and our early scholars believed. The Batri taqiyyah is not fooling them, it's just making them say "You Shi'a lie we don't trust anything you say" and weaken our academic arguments due to this emotional barrier against potential falsehood. http://www.allaahuakbar.net/shiites/what_the_shia_believe_about_the_sahabahs.htm
  3. Like what? Where have I been violent or rude? I have several threads showing love of Ahlul-Bayt (as) and hatred of Nawaseb (la) through sources and academia. If you'd please be able to reference what sort of violence or hatred you're referring to then inshallah I can repent of it.
  4. You're more than welcome to come at any time, and the discussions are never arguments, I am certain you'll be thoroughly surprised (in a good way, happy) when you attend. Add me on facebook, I will help you inshallah even sort out a ride, etc... I am not a student, just a supporter who helps out and enjoys his presence. I met him through a friend who introduced me to him in person. We have gatherings where Sheikh Yasser al-Habib does Q&A sessions for hours after his live lecture on Fadak TV. It's quite amazing to sit with someone so knowledgeable who can talk on various topics so eloquently. I have several Bakri friends who I bring with me sometimes and they ask questions and talk to the sheikh as well, there's never any controversy/disputes or anything like that. Everyone at our place is very humble and polite, we're not violent evil people, we just love Ahlul-Bayt (as) and hate Nawaseb (la) alhamdulilah.
  5. I sit with Sheikh Yasser al-Habib every weekend and discuss matters with a friend who interprets for me, I am aware of his stance and knowledge already, whereas the other brother does not sit with him or know his stance. I'm assuming you haven't listened either? Although you live in London so I invite you to come and discuss any concerns you have with the Sheikh, you will be my honoured guest.
  6. I was at this event. So are the majority of scholars, but they hold these events in private. They are doing taqiyyah but they know the truth of the event. It's sad you people are being lied to and kept in the dark while your scholars are believing something entirely different behind closed doors. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hadith_of_the_assassination_of_Umar Some of you say we're uneducated, what a typical self-defense mechanism, when all of the evidence is against you, you resort to emotional slander. Watch Sheikh Yasser al Habib's many lectures if you understand Arabic, feel free to call in on his show and refute him, or email him. If you really think he is so stupid and fake then why is everyone making a big deal out of him yet cannot refute anything he says? Again with the emotional attacks. A lot of people don't wear red that day, including the great reciter you posted above me. It's not wajib.
  7. They're mistranslating it. Here is the definition according to almaany.com He said "Zindeeq wa Nasibi ibn Qahba" القحبة He literally said "Disbeliever, Nasibi (enemy of Ahl al-Bayt a.s.), son of one who coughs" "ibn Qahba" implies son of an adulterer... There are many words meaning the b-word... A word for "*****" (as they're interpreting it) would be الكلبة or العاهرة... But "Qahba" actually means "to cough" but is used for a reference to [Edited Out]s because the [Edited Out]s used to cough to get the attention of potential customers. He isn't using foul language. The `Aimmah (as) also have described some people as "sons of adulteresses". Here is a fatwa from Ayatollah Jafar Subhani's website where he uses the term "Qahba" قحبة You can't pray behind the son of an adulterer in Shi'a Fiqh, for another example. It's just like a scholar who says "Kafir" with evidence and from the riwayah, versus a street thug who says it meaning to emotionally insult someone. Here are even a Bakri references: The word is used in its context, it's not some vulgar street speak like you're seeming to imply. All of the above are references for "accusing the chaste woman" of "being unchaste" القحبة It's not vulgarity like the Bakris are trying to make it on youtube, they're Jahil. (wasalam)
  8. Once again, all of your writings are irrelevant. I'm assuming you haven't listened to the lectures yet. That's the end of me reading your immature rants, get back to me when you have.
  9. I gave you the series of lectures, watch or don't watch, but I don't see how you can comment without knowing anything about Sheikh Yasser al-Habib's knowledge. The rest of your post is irrelevant.
  10. Christianlady, peace, I think you've reached the point of understanding that America should remove its troops from foreign countries and step back and say "Yeah we messed up, big time, may God have mercy on us for our sins against humanity." And not worry about other countries, which is what got America in this position to begin with. Stop thinking hypothetically (what if they use atom bombs on other countries like America did), it's like the alcoholic wife beater who is still pointing fingers at everyone else around him and not focusing on the real problem--himself. I noticed you quoting some various snippets from the history of Muhammad (pbuh). You've probably taken your understanding of Islamic history from non-Shi'a perspectives. I advise you to read this book to better understand our perspective: http://www.al-islam.org/restatement/ So you really cannot even begin to compare the Mercy and justice of Muhammad (pbuh) to anyone else in history, especially not the brutal savages that have come out of the West in the past 300 years, murdering, raping, pillaging everyone who wasn't "white/anglo-saxon" (I'm White/anglo-saxon myself so I can say this confidently supported by facts of history without being racist.)
  11. You people don't even know Sheikh Yasser al-Habib and you're talking so much rubbish against him. He is most likely the most knowledgeable person on hadith in the entire Shi'a world who is alive today. If you haven't listened to this series of lectures, or you haven't personally discussed/debated the matter with Sheikh Yasser al-Habib, then your opinion on the matter remains biased & unjustified.
  12. (bismillah) (salam) If you understand Arabic then listen to this series of lectures on the Shi'a science ÇáÑæÇíÉ æÇáÏÑÇíÉ æÇáÑÌÇá - ÊÚÑíÝ ÇáÚáæã ÇáËáÇËÉ http://www.fadak.tv/index.php?id=9 Please don't respond to this thread unless you understand Arabic and have listened to the entire series of lectures. Thank you.
  13. Sons of what? It edited out your words so I don't know. Mujtaba Shirazi isn't using vulgarity, he uses terms that Allah or Masoomeen (as) used, or he quotes the history books and well known knowledge of accepted facts. Not sure what your point is.
  14. Peace Christianlady, I have a problem with what you said, let me explain, God willing... Technology is not the problem, rather how you use it. I think we agree on this. But to say, "America built inter-continental missiles capable of destroying key objects in XYZ... if XYZ builds inter-continental missiles then they're evil like 'The West' and should stop copying 'The West'..." What you're saying sounds like the following scenario... This bully in school keeps beating up all of the children during play-time None of the teachers stop him (maybe they fail to notice, or turn a blind eye) When the bully raises his fists, we acknowledge he is doing wrong But we won't protest against the bully, we'll focus on the kids being beaten up [*]If the kids being beaten up raise their fists to defend themselves Then we must attack the intentions of those children We must protest and point our fingers at those children [*]The children should lower their fists, lay down, and let the bully kick them on the ground If the children do not comply with the beatings from the bully, then they are evil This is some messed up, misinterpreted, twisted Roman-spun concept of "turn the other cheek" they used to subjugate the masses under an otherwise ungodly and obviously oppressive regime. They paint the regime up in godliness and say "being poor is good, it means you're a good Christian", and "carry your cross and get crucified like Jesus did", and "Turn the other cheek, Jesus was never angry or abusive, EVEN TO HIS ENEMIES". But this concept is against all logic, all nature, and even against God Himself who doesn't forgive anyone in the Bible who wrongs Him, rather He drowns them and causes pestilence on their entire village and murders their children with bloodthirsty hordes. Something is clearly wrong with this mentality, and even more wrong with the history and theology behind it!
  15. These are elementary arguments my 8 year old sister can refute. Part 1 Part 2 Watch those, they'll entertain you and educate you on some important topics, while answering your question about Adam (as)
  16. in any case Sheikh Yasser is not allied with zionists you're either a munafiq or deranged if you think so. the riwayat are clear it is haraam for us to fight offensively in the absence of a Masoomeen
  17. Lol some guy named Ibn Arabi posts defending Kufr big surprise. I've read Ibn Arabi where he says you didn't experience pleasure having sex with ur wife but it was Allah u pleasured from sex Kufr
  18. it doesn't contradict at all you're saying if i have knowledge it contradicts Qur'an? of course not! so when Imams have more knowledge than us then the same logic applies. this is in keeping with Qur'an and ahadith
  19. Let's have an intellectual debate about whether Jesus is God. You will enter with the presumption that Jesus is not God. That doesn't make you unintellectual. Let's debate whether God can manifest in Poop = Wahdat al Wujud = kufr.
  20. Because Ma'soomeen (as) only know what they are given permission by Allah. If Ma'soomeen (as) knew 100% all knowledge, they would be partners with Allah. But they aren't. So maybe they know 1% or 99% or 0.00000000000000000000000001% Allah knows, we don't. But whatever they know, it includes all that will happen in past, present, and future up to the day of judgement. My Sheikh knows of some hadith I will bring inshallah
  21. Ayat al-Kursi doesn't agree with your interpretation, Haydar "they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills." 2:255 Haydar you're either Bakri in disguise, or severely twisted Batri, no Shi'a has your views on this subject, I'm shocked you quote these ayats with such little knowledge of Shi'a hadith and tafseer and the other ayats. Read this http://wilayat.net/i...ject&Itemid=101 It is common knowledge that (as) is reserved for Ma'soomeen only. The only reason people say it after Khomeini is because the jahils believe he was Ma'soom.
  22. Your arguments are invalid, your feeble attempts to expose him were refuted by me, and you never acknowledged the treaty of Hudaybiya which the Prophet (Sawa) made between the Muslims and the Kuffar. There is nothing wrong with political truce between Muslims and Kuffar if it is benefiting the Ummah, just as the treaty of Hudaybiyyah. He isn't trying to be friends with them and share their pillows and marry them. Takfir means to refer to someone in a way that they are a Kafir. I never called you a Kafir or referred to you as a Kafir. You called Sheikh Yasser al-Habib a Kafir when you said
