  1. Strange that Sunnees are avoiding this thread. Well, in any case, this is only my farewell thread on ShiaChat, and THIS is my farewell post. Thanks to all the brothers and sisters. Wa salaam ‘alaikum wa rahmatullaah wa baarakatuh.
  2. @ Merdan, I think the honourable thing for you to do is to, at least, read Sawaaiq al-Muhriqah online. It is available on trusted websites. Just search for it, and read it, rather than write ignorantly. And, of course, I cannot see where the man defends Soofees. He believes that Imaam ‘Alee (as) and his Shee‘ah are the saved sect, based on a mutawaatir Sunnee hadeeth. However, rather than accept the obvious, he twisted facts and claimed that Sunnees are the Shee‘ah of ‘Alee (as)!
  3. No. I have heard this claim from some desperate Sunnees (and they also link an ignorant article on islamqa). But, whoever is familiar with the Sunni hadeeth masters knows the ignorance of those people. In fact, there are several Sunnee scholars that only grade hadeeths through the chains, like those in the OP.
  4. He says he now loves all the Sahaabah. Did you read his words properly? And how exactly does he believe in the Imaamah of the Imaams (as)? How? Could you elaborate?
  5. (salam) This thread is a special call to both Ibrāhīm786 and just the truth of this forum. I have noticed that both Ibrāhīm786 and just the truth are deeply influenced by the notorious Sunnī myths about the superiority, righteousness and holiness of all the Ṣaḥābah without exception. As such, one sees them defending Abū Bakr, ‘Umar and especially Mu’āwiyah. In this thread, I want to break all these myths, but as briefly as humanly possible. So, I seek Allāh’s Help and Support. MYTH ONE: THE ṢAḤĀBAH ARE THE BEST OF THIS UMMAH Is it true that the Ṣaḥābah are the best of this Ummah? We will let t
  6. So, Wasil was only playing on people‘s intelligence after all. I firstly fell for his trick. But, upon a rethink of his past “records“ (which includes racism, pornography, obscenity and dishonest stunts), I neatly caught him. His fake illness and suicide thinking are nothing but fake publicity and sympathy stunts. What a fool! Wasil, I know you do check shiachat, and this thread in particular: so, could you tell us why you love Mu‘aawiyah, a clear Naasibi? Is it because he hated Imaam ‘Alee (as)?
  7. @ Merdan, Actually, you shouldn‘t bet anything. I have a personal copy of Al-Sawaaiq, and that truly is his belief. You are correct than Al-Sawaaiq is an attempted refutation of the Imaamiyyah. However, al-Haytamee has done a very poor job in it. He has affirmed lots of our beliefs, even bring hadeeths from Sunnee books. Unlike Ibn Taymiyyah, he rarely denies authentically transmitted facts about the Ahl al-Bayt (as). His main interest is in defending Aboo Bakr, ‘Umar and ‘Uthmaan, and Mu‘aawiyah, even if by dishonest methods.
  8. @ Dagga, Yes, you are correct. In tashahhud, Sunnees too send blessings upon the Prophet (pbuh) and the Ahl al-Bayt (as). HOWEVER, outside of the tashahhud, they always EXCLUDE the Ahl al-Bayt (as). Why? The Prophet (pbuh) ORDERED the whole Ummah to ALWAYS include the Ahl al-Bayt (as) in the Salawat/Darood. Why have Sunnees limited it to only the times of tashahhud? Moreover, there is a huge controversy among the Sunnees over whether blessings should be sent upon the Ahl al-Bayt (as) in the tashahhud. Imaam al-Shaafi‘ee and ‘Allaamah al-Albaanee and a few others said that sending blessings upo
  9. Read this from Tafseer Ibn Katheer: Ahmad recorded a Hadith with similar meaning from Ibn Muhayriz who said: I said to Abu Jumu`ah, "Narrate a Hadith for us that you heard from the Messenger of Allah.'' He said, "Yes. I will narrate a good Hadith for you. Once we had lunch with the Messenger of Allah . Abu `Ubaydah, who was with us, said, `O Messenger of Allah! Are people better than us We embraced Islam with you and performed Jihad with you.' He said, «نَعَمْ قَوْمٌ مِنْ بَعْدِكُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِي وَلَمْ يَرَوْنِي» (Yes, those who will come after you, who will believe in me although they did
  10. I know more about the Sahaabah more than you will EVER know. I am trying to wake up your dead logic. Mu'aawiyah and co were Nawaasib, and that naturally makes them hypocrites. I accept than hypocrites are far better than you. But, as I said, the dust of my shoe is better than those hypocrites. Of course, it doesn't. Have you forgotten about Azar, Prophet Ibraaheem's (as) father?
  11. Read this http://www.al-islam.org/encyclopedia/chapter1b/11.html
  12. You missed the point because of your complete ignorance about the ghaybah of the Imaam (as). He said all that and more during the minor ghaybah, and he was referring to the period of the major ghaybah. I believe you need to read this book to know better about our Imaam (as). And, it contains only authentic narrations from our books (and a few from the Sunnis).
  13. So, Mu‘aawiyah the Naasibi (according to authentic history and your scholars) is better than the pure progeny of the Prophet (pbuh)???????????? Let me get this straight: YOU ARE SAYING THAT A HYPOCRITE WAS BETTER THAN OUR IMAAMS (as)??????! It is not strange that you have awarded Paradise to the Nawaasib among the Sahaabah. In your religion, a hypocrite will be in Paradise, and the Ahl al-Bayt (as) are worse than hypocrites. Do you see why I call you a Naasibi? In reality, I believe a hypocrite (like Mu‘aawiyah) is TRULY better than you. As for me, I am a believer in wilaayah, and (like in th
