  1. The name of the book is They would use their usul to reject it, but they cannot do so without looking foolish.
  2. The sad part is they know for a fact the companions did it, including Ibn umar, and they know for a fact that Imam zayn al abideen (as) claimed it was the original adhan but they deny him. The question comes to us dear brother, we have Ibn arabi the aalim and top gun of the "traditional sunni/sufis" like hamza yusuf, ghumari brothers, habib family, gf haddad, deos/bralavis. Then we have the "top gun" shaykh of the salafi type sunnis like Ibn taymiyya himself, including the son of Umar al khattab and a mujtahid mutlaq Imam from Ahlul bayt (as) all saying that haya ala khayr l amol is from the sunnah. When it comes to this point where there is such disagreement on something so clear yet so small, it really shows you their potential for fooling themselves on bigger issues. Regarding your comment on rijal, there is an entire book written on the bias of rijal from a sunni scholar himself, who by the way is recognized as the most illustrious muhaddith of current times, the famous ghumairi brothers. It can also be seen that Ad-dhahabi would reject narrators just because he detected some type of "rafdh", and this "rafdh" was usually merely from criticizing Muawiya slightly....or preferring Imam Ali (as) slightly.... However these two hadith are agreed on to be authentic.
  3. Lion does not concern himself with the opinion of the sheep B)
  4. "Investigators later found out it was a jelly bean gun".
  5. I came across two authentic Hadith from the books of ahlus sunnah that show that the phrase "haya 'ala khayr l 'amol", was actually the original and proper adhan. When looking at the sunni replies from both the English and Arabic forums I saw that they said two things... 1- Ibn umar was reviving a sunnah or he was doing it optionally, and it is not a bidah and the shia are not blamed in this and are actually correct. (For example Imam shafii agreed with the shia on wearing aqeeq and raising the hands in qunut, and as An-nawawi mentions the shia did not innovate in this particular area). 2- Ibn umar and zayn Al abideen (as) both were wrong and made a mistake (give me a break...). 1-Let's look at the hadith and their authenticity. 2- Let's look at their replies from both the Arabic forums and the English section. 3- Let us then comment. So the first hadith is from Malik's al-muwata. Abu Usama said Ubaidallah reported to him from Naafi' that Ibn Umar would add in his Adhan hayya 'ala khayr l 'amol (come to the best work). End of hadith. As we can see the chain is very high (it has few intermediaries) and the men in it are of high status, ahlus sunnah are grade it sahih without question. The second hadith is found in the famous Musannaf of Ibn Abi shayba. Abu bakr reported to us that haatim ibn ismael reported to him from Imam Jafar as saadiq (as) from his father (as) and muslim ibn abi maryam that Ali Ibn hussayin (Imam zayn al abideen) would say the adhan and if he came to the part of haya 'ala falaah he would say haya 'ala khayar l 'amol and he (Imam Ali ibn hussin) ع would say "this was the original adhan". The chain is authentic according to ahlus sunnah, none of them deny it's authenticity, also if you noticed they reported from our Imams as-saadiqayn ع. Now let us look at some of the replies from the English section from "[Edited Out]" may Allah make their children rafidhis.. Mashallah, what would we do without Abdullah Bin Zayd al Ansari? Astaghfurallah how misguided these people are, we pose a question to our Sunni brethren why did Allah send the one of the largest aspects of the religion to a sahabi in a dream and not to the Prophet himself (ع)? Such a hadith is an obvious fraud and hoax, let us laugh some more and look at the same hadith. So the prophet (ع) was so clueless and to the point where he ordered that a bell should be used like Christians, but then, alhamdulilah, Abdullah ibn zayd had a dream by Allah to correct the prophet's method. My dear rafidhi bretheren and sisters, I regress, let us go to their comments regarding these two authentic hadith, the nasaibi then says the following... In fact, he is the liar, he has no room to reject them as unauthentic, and I challenge them to do so, many of their scholars have even confirmed this hadith including shaykh al islam ibn taymiyya, trust me...he is shaykh al islam he is never wrong...never. (except when they feel like it), moving on... Subhanallah,we hear day and night from these people "we follow the companions we follow the companions, we follow ahlul bayt", and when two authentic hadith are presented to them showing how a companion the son of their 2nd caliph did the adhan and how a Mujtahid mutlaq from Ahlul bayt Imam zayn Al abideen did the adhan their proofs become void evidence. I applaud your intellects, not only did you just affirm that Ibn Umar would recite the adhan this way, you affirmed it, and then denied it as evidence. Regarding zayn al abideen let us see what he says. His argument amounts to the following, Imam Zayn al abideen was wrong and believed in fake hadith, and that he didn't see the way his father and brothers recited the adhan and assumed and made a mistake in believing false hadith and also misunderstanding hadith that were attributed to bilal, and Ibn umar was also mistaken.... la ilaha illa Allah.... Thank you Sunnis of the English section, we benefited greatly from you, let us turn to the arabic forums. This is from an arabic forum, where a sunni is asking for an explanation --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- POST I have a question for all the shia, I would very much like the answer. 1- Is this adhan the adhan that the Prophet (3) would call with in his time? Everything that is with the shia is made up and there isn't anything from them that is proven from the prophet nor from the ahlul bayt at tayyiben at tahireen radi Allah anhum. However this is from writers of the majus, you find them(shia) similar to the Jews and the Christians in their issues, they took from every religion.... (1: 400) Ibn Arabi said in his futuhat al makiyya " As for who adds in his Adhan haya ala khayr l amol then this was actually done at the time of rasulallah (saw), this was also called with in the battle of khandaq, when the people were entrenched and the time for salah came, and this is the best of actions as the hadith narrates, so the caller would call to ahlul khandaq "haya ala khayr l amol", so it isn't a mistake whoever places this in the adhan but instead it is authentic information, and a practice that is sunnah hasana". POST 4 We don't accept sufis as a proof upon us. POST 5 My friend you feel embarrased for yourself to take the words of a sufi and you left the words of ibn umar, is ibn umar a sufi too?! POST 6 مجموع فتاوى ابن تيمية - (ج 5 / ص 279) كَمَا يُعْلَمُ : " أَنَّ حَيَّ عَلَى خَيْرِ الْعَمَلِ " لَمْ يَكُنْ مِنْ الْأَذَانِ الرَّاتِبِ وَإِنَّمَا فَعَلَهُ بَعْضُ الصَّحَابَةِ لِعَارِضِ تَحْضِيضًا لِلنَّاسِ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ "majmu ibn taymiyya" "as it is known that haya ala khayr l amol is not from the proper adhan however some of the companions did it to urge people to pray". End of posts. My final comments- Ibn tamiyya himself admits that this was the practice of the companions but makes the lame excuse that it was only a methodology for pushing people to pray, may Allah guide us ameen. I invite the Sunnis to correct their adhan, thanks.
  6. Abul Hassan's links just strengthens the shia heart and Iman, walhamdulilah. Sunni rijal is the rijal of the governments and their court scholars.
  7. Farid said : Habibi even if Abu Al Salt's real name was Abu Ishaaq ibn barmitsva al yahoodi and was a jew and not a twelver it wouldn't change the fact that your salaf did not narrate or consider narrations from the shia who said anything negative against the companions, me and you farid don't have to debate this point since we both know this is true. Farid said: So if Thahabi is saying this, it negates the fact that your salaf acted in the way we are saying? So if Thahabi says all of this, it erases all the entries we posted from your books from the salaf? There is something called anomaly, and there is something called a pattern, if most of your scholar's method was to reject on face value any narrations from staunch shias and then you come to me with one of your khalaf who says that "one opinion is that we should see if the narrate anything good" it doesn't change the fact that most of your scholars from the khalaf, and most if not all among your salaf were not objective and actually rejected rafidhi hadith as it evident from their own words, I don't understand the confusion. Also opinion number two from Thahabi itself is subjective since who determines what is good or bad? Regarding your second paragraph, darul islam is saying that we both do the same thing, both of our science's are bias, so you are just reinforcing what he is saying. Farid Says: The scholars of your madhab will reject what is obviously fake via chain or matn just like a zaydi or a khariji will, same thing with the shia. If we have unknown scholars saying "Abu bakr is to me as Harun is to Musa", not only is the matn going to be rejected since it's obviously a fake, the chain itself supports the conclusion, there is nothing objective here just common sense.
  8. It becomes a sad sign when we get "happy" from this, as if we need their approval. The question mark should be on the sunnis not on the shia.
  9. Farid, it took you months to post that? Literally nothing that you said actually refuted anything from darul Islam. Your entire post was just you citing sunnis giving tawtheeq to bakris, politically inclined proto-sunnis from kufa, and undeniable giants among the shia that even ahmad ibn hanbal was reluctant to accept but was forced to due to status, somehow that makes your science "objective"? Take any average thiqa imami his narrations will be thrown in the sea, your own shaykh bukhari said not to even pray behind us and considers us kuffar, are you saying that he will objectively analyze and consider ahadeeth from rawafidh? Shafi said don't write from Imamis. Malik said the same. Hanbal said the same. One needs to only go back to what ibn hajr said, he himself has said there is indeed a pattern among his madhab that weakens shia and strengthens nawasib, and filters shii narrations by saying they are "shadh", "ghareeb" or "he narrates X and X and hence he is weak". All you did was give us a few example of sunnis giving tawtheeq to bakiris, thanks. I challenge anyone go sit down and go through sahih bukhari and laugh, it's like a twisted story book devoid of any theological or fiqh benefits.
  10. Muslim720 is a sincere person who only made a mistake in reading since he read fast. Muslim720 continue studying on this subject, I recommend writing down lists of subjects debated upon between sunni and shia, such as fadak, nazar Allah, 3dl Allah, mutah, etc and see which side has stronger proofs.
  11. Ighatha Ahfaaz, Ibn qayyim jawzjiyya, page 122, And if you were to see one of them you'd see that they would not pray except on the carpet, and he (Rasulallah S.) would never pray on the carpet, nor a carpet furnished in front of him, however he would pray on the ground, and maybe upon dates, and he used to pray on the reed mat, and what was available to him from these, and if he did not find any of these then he'd pray on the earth.. Minhaj As sunnah, page 151, "And also what Imam malik said, praying on something other than nature is hated, and the muminun (shia, the other says rafidhi) forbid praying on anything other than jins al ard". "Hate is tahreem among the salaf". 5:40 I apologize bro, I do the same thing, excuse my comments to you, I would just like you to take what I say and present to you instead of looking at everything with suspicion.
  12. Why would Imam Malik base his ruling upon the hadith if he thought it was weak? Also he did indeed say it was haram, Meaning "if it was permissible" I.E. it's not, basic reading comprehension skills need on your part before you accuse someone of lying.
  13. Again you don't understand these narrations, the scholars of your school have already explained them in saying that they did this out of necessity if they could not find gravel they cool down in their hands and make prostration upon it as was demonstrated in the above hadith, and as explained by Imam Malik.
ثم قال البيهقي( قال الشيخ رحمه الله ولو جاز السجود على ثوب متصل به لكان ذلك أسهل من تبريد الحصا في الكف ووضعها للسجود عليها وبالله التوفيق ) From Jabir Ibn Abdullah(ra) " I was praying with Rasulallah (ص) salaatu dhur, he then took a handful of gravel in his palm until it cooled down and he would place it on his forehead (place of prostration) if he made prostration from the intensity of the heat". (COMMENTARY from bayhaqi) "The Shaykh said (imam malik)= if it was permissible to pray on a part of his robe then that would of been easier than grabbing a piece of gravel in his palms for it to cool down and placing it down for prostration upon it and with Allah is tawfiq". Do you accept the above? Yes or no?
