So What Gives With The Word "mawla".
Najib replied to StrugglingForTheLight's topic in Shia/Sunni Dialogue
(bismillah) It is too bad that even the lovers of Ahlalbait do not know the full sermon and are content with what the greater part of the Ummah portrays as the Ghadir sermon. Do you really think that the Prophet (PBUH) would leave us in doubt like that? The full sermon can be found here: http://duas.org/NEW/ghadirkhutba.htm O Messenger! Convey what has (just) been revealed to you (with regard to 'Ali), and if you do not do so, you will not have conveyed His Message at all, and Allah shall Protect you from (evil) people; surely Allah will not guide the unbelieving people. Imam Ali A.s Didn't Want To Pray Salah
Najib replied to Logical Islamic's topic in Shia/Sunni Dialogue
Based on the fact that Imam Ali (as) was the walking Qur'an and knew the Book of Allah and its secrets, it is doubtful to accept a hadith that debases the position of the first Imam (as). Moreover, the Ahlalbait told us to hold each hadith in the light of the Qur'an and if it's in accordance with it then we can accept it. -
Zaynab, Rukayya and Umm Kulthum Before Khadija married Muhammed Mustafa, there were three girls living in her house in Makka. Their names were Zaynab, Rukayya and Umm Kulthum. They were the daughters of her deceased sister. Their father had died earlier, and when their mother also died, Khadija brought them into her own house. After Khadija's marriage, all three girls stayed with her as her wards. They probably called Khadija their mother and they probably called Muhammed Mustafa their father. And according to Arab usage, they were known as his daughters because they lived in his house, and he

Ayatollah Bahjat when he was asked whether we could pray for the unbelievers and if this would be okay, he (may he rest in peace) replied: Prayer (Du'a = دعا) for the unbelievers will save them from remaining in the eternal fire of Hell forever. http://jamnews.ir/detail/news/227780

(wasalam) Part of the discussion in Peshawar Nights: Well-Wisher (Shi'i Alim): You have not yet asked on what grounds I have made this statement, and therefore yousay it is without reason. The best proof for my statement is the Holy Qur'an, which, narrating the life ofthe Prophet Abraham, says that, after giving him three tests (of life, wealth, and sons), Allah intended tomake his rank more exalted. Since prophethood and the title of Khalil (Friend) did not apparentlywarrant a higher rank, the office of Imamate was the only office of a higher order to which even aProphet of Allah could be

Guess Bashar-Al-Assad has nothing better to do than being active on this site? And bashar isn't a hero anyway, people idolize him too much. -
Lol..Benjamin Button haha, not the right analogy but still funny. Tiramisu? That's not healthy..cheesecake isn't healthy..raw meat isn't healthy or maybe you mean ''meat'' that is made from sojabeans?

Ask your marja. But if you need advice: if you can find a good Shi'a, then marry the Shi'a..we've already proven that we cannot live as one Muslim Ummah, so don't try to glue something that cannot be fixed anymore..for now.

Just one comment. I think you will be finding more real Muslims in the West than you think and less real Muslims in Iran than you'd expect

Family That Bother You Because Your Religious
Najib replied to Ethics's topic in Social/Family/Personal
Just ignore their jokes. And I know it's tough when it comes from family, it happens to me as well. Also don't nod yes, but try to change the subject, or be the bigger adult and ask him why he doesn't respect your family's choice when he would kiss his neighbor's hands as a matter of example. Or why he thinks your choices are a joke and that you think it is immature. Kust be the bigger adult and he will feel ashamed -
if your husband is hitting you without ANY reason, even though every reason would be wrong of hitting, then you should divorce him if you can live independently
