  1. Forgive me if I'm wrong but is it not also one of the pillars of Islam in believing in the Mahdi? Where they differ is between whether or not Dajjal is an actual individual or a system that we are living under which is in constant debate :P. BUT to answer your question absolutely, it's an essential belief!
  2. Salam wa alakum, Is the meat halal? Have you double checked? Kidding haha. First thing is that it's completely normal, my little brother personally didn't eat meat until the age of four or something so he got his protein elsewhere I.E. hard boiled eggs etc. The reasons could be the taste is simply unappealing to the child (Not insulting your food just meat tends to have a bland taste, appreciated later in adulthood) and they reject it, what kind of meats have you tried? Also it could be your child's stomach enzymes are either having problems breaking down the meat or simply rejecting it. And never feel like you shouldn't get an experts opinion, that's what pediatricians are there for! W.S
  3. Salam Wa Alakum, Beautiful post my friend! Eid mubarak to you and may Allah almighty bless you in all your future endeavors ^_^! WaSalam.
  4. @Prince of spacetime Can't seem to quote you so I'll tag you and attack your points one by one ;) read carefully, EDIT: I can now quote, Did you not watch the video you posted? pretty sure I said we did the experiment in my intro level course? The calculated Force attraction between his two balls(experimental)? The force of gravity between masses that was literally highlighted by the professor in his first few sentences..? Everybody does this experiment in intro physics I'm surprised you doubt the authenticity about that statement ;) [Says a lot about the education you've gone through] to answer ya, it proved the value he implemented in his experiment for G was accurate and was 1% off the current U.G. value used today, but when I did the experiment I was quite a bit off actually around 10% I don't recall if it was a math error or perhaps the experiment demanded more time? (more plausible) density and mass of the earth mate! So... the point was to waste everybody's time :-)? Nobody doubted the change that science was constantly going through, it's not circular logic but It would appear to slow people such as yourself perhaps? :o Read the title of this thread that's what was being discussed not quantum mechanics which is completely debatable but not what I'm trying to establish here ;) this is about the proven spherical earth. That's nothing like what you posted up there, you kinda just posted the steps scientist to come to the conclusion of dark matter/dark energy. ...What? Draw the picture I must see! What's there to teach me, that you have theories that the Sun revolves around the earth? No thank you my good sir I'll go ask the real experts If i need help ;)! Awwwh gosh PM me poetry ;) Astaghfirallah bro you should seek repentance! Shaitan has clouded your mind with hubris ;( nothing you said was relevant to the topic discussed it was just big words in an attempt sound like you knew what you were talking about perhaps you should learn to analyze one's post before making an analysis of your own? Sounds like my mockery got to you ;) you should practice self control it will help you hone your physics skills young padawan. I only ever took the necessary physics classes to excel in my desired degree of EE/CE. But from what I've seen it's far above the physics you've been posting and ranting about ;). And finally unfortunately for you I am a Sayyid, Is that againts your wahabbi values? ;) Okay seriously Trolling aside, Seek repentance dude you seem to be suffering from delusional thoughts that you're a prophet I recommend remembering we're all humble servants of Allah. Brother..?! #WasteEverybody'sTime2016 I love you.
  5. Hey Ahmed, Is there news on how they foiled his explosion? Was he an ISIS soldier? I'm curious as to how they're getting their weapons and bombs, in such a tight city because correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Kadhmiyah a district in Baghdad?
  6. *Sigh* This experiment was done in Intro level courses... It's proven nothing other then the fact that was already known, you can calculate the mass of the Earth because the experiment will give you the gravitational constant (G) based on the (F) that is measured. I honestly can't believe that you got from this, the earth is flat. It's almost hilarious. There is nothing hidden in these experiments that the scientists don't want you to know, it can literally be replicated in your home... lol. Honestly it almost sounds like this scientist was a bit insane ;) haven't seen any of those. I honestly have a hard time believing you even know what that is. You're literally just saying scientific experiments and using big words *sigh* You're talking about scientific history of mass and how it's been altered over the decade. I'm pretty sure that's the point of astrophysics no? They're constantly discovering new theories that give answers to small questions. NOT SOMETHING that would literally change the 100% proven theory of spherical earth. No. Nothing would be published if not confirmed by other scientists and research analysts that can confirm theories presented by a thesis given to experts to test. The earth has been proven time and time again NOT to be flat. *Sigh* you're such a troll lol... Kinda chuckled at this. Please go educate yourself on this matter. You're right. You didn't prove anything at all. You more then likely googled everything, and spewed out nonsense that absolutely proved nothing regarding the matter that was discussed and proved. Please go back and read the posts before where peaceseeker just shrugged off all the physical, theoretical and logical proof thrown his way. Also don't use big words in a sense trying to correlate your conspiracy theories it makes you look bad when you don't know what you're talking about. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Alright I'm done. Astagfirallah Ya rabbi zidnee Alim and enlighten the ignorant :/.
  7. Allah puts certain people through certain tribulations. This is different for everybody there is no one test that everybody must endure. It's not as simple as the test being black and white, believer or kafir. Allah has his own way of testing each individual servant. I honestly don't believe there is a such thing as a perfect life, the Imams teach us that happiness can only be attained through content. Look at all these people that have the cars, women, money etc, trust me they go through tests just as much as anybody else. I'll also let you in on a secret, one who has forsaken God from their life I swear by the almighty they will never find success, satisfaction or content in any of the work they pursue. If your ultimate goal is not to help other people through your actions you are wasting your time. "Life consists of two days, one for you and one against you. So when it's for you don't be proud or reckless, and when it's against you be patient, for both days are test for you." - Imam Ali "Earthly life deceives, hurts and passes" - Imam Ali "You must know that you never get what has not been destined for you in this life" -Imam Ali Life is a test my friend, whether you are a sinner or the believer Wa salam
  8. It's hard. Because when a Muslim and a Christian get married, the ideals are destined to crash. Whether it's the ceremony of the marriage itself. Perhaps the mandatory attendance of Friday prayers or even the required Sunday Sermon. Or even the food that's put on the table I.E. no wine/pork or haram meats. Then leads to the gathering of friends, all the Muslim women/men might feel awkward with a Christian women that does not cover up in family gatherings etc (Trust me people love to talk/judge). Then the worst of all which is raising the children, Allah commands we put the word on their tongue so it's not debatable in regards that the kids get to become half christian or half Muslim, it's just not right. Maybe somebody has done it successfully and wants to share, in my opinion only problems can arise from such a union :P.
  9. Yes, I jumped to the same conclusion, It just doesn't look salvageable. Despite assistance from foreign countries for a regime change and etc, the country just seems weak in all aspects. From what I saw with my visit even the schools were close to hopeless so no hope of gaining elites or intellectuals that could invest in industrializing the nation. :P
  10. +1! Good post, Sex is a very powerful biological desire and anybody else telling you different is a liar. Approaching it in a halal method prescribed to us is necessary and I can only agree with my Prince, If it was allowed with our Sunni brothers/sisters then without a doubt all these problems that come with sex/temptation wouldn't be as bad as it is nowadays for our youth.
  11. @madzi If you had read the other posts you would've concluded that I was going against the establishment of "Imams not insulting others" It seems though that you did not. It applied because when facts are never rebuked or acknowledged then you might as well be arguing with a wall. You speak as if I care. Whether or not he's a "Shia brother" his thoughts collided with my own and seeing as it's a forum in which the freedom to express was open I did. Of course only when I concluded that every fact or point had been touched on and still ignored then I decided to not have the intellectuals in this thread waste their time with further discussion by insulting him (Sure I'll apologize if feelings were hurt). Honestly half of your analogies make no sense, comparing a believer to the ka'bah is ridiculous. The only thing I could find was a Muslims blood being holier then the ka'bah nothing about one's thoughts or feelings. Don't call me your "Brother" if you are going to isolate my post and attempt to argue because you feel compelled to defend the thoughts of another. If that is the case then don't waste my time with this philosophical mindset that you wish to teach me because honestly it's making you look bad in my eyes. lol what? This is quote right here discredits anything up there you just said. Last I checked I was in the wrong and corrected by the moderator for a 5th grade level insult which I won't repeat again, you act like it's the end of the world. Stop thinking Muslims are some emotionless, perfect creatures we're not. We act like people do so it's normal to react in the frustrated way that I did. My God, I'm honestly starting to have a hard time believing you read any of the other posts. Here I'll rehash for you. Everybody was attempting to make points and even I wanted to see the reasoning of why he believed the earth was flat. Nothing was rebuked correctly by all the other thoughts that were presented. He merely chose not to want to believe them, which is fine but like I said wasting everybody else's time. Science is always subject to change and be challenged but that's done on theories. Not laws that are proven based off of applied science that concludes 'sense' that the earth is not flat. Theories are challenged by logic and I didn't see any being said by the curious fellow's posts. I read that paragraph maybe 2-3 times didn't make sense of any of it, maybe try rephrasing? My bad. No insults/hate towards anybody involved in this post, merely me providing my two cents. It's impossible to say that I'm being rude or hateful based off of my tone in a forum, so please do keep in mind I'm writing this with no hate :). Please stay on topic by the way, If you have a problem with the way I talk to one of your "brothers" then don't quote me looking to start a fight on an already one week post that was halted by a moderator.
  12. Probably to avoid trolls that could possibly harass and or corrupt the conversation. By providing 25 posts it's showing you are a person with interests and opinions that could contribute to a live chat, not just attack others who have beliefs. It is called Shiachat after all and nobody has more enemies then the shia :P
  13. Ali, Could you please elaborate? How is the government corrupt? Who has infiltrated it and who they oppress? I keep seeing these protests on the news for Abadi to change the regime but i can't figure out why. Isn't it dangerous to have common doctors diagnose and prescribe illness and medication without the proper knowledge or protocol? It just infuriates me that my little niece had to get 6-7 vaccinations over the period of one month for a mere sore throat, like seriously what If they kill their patient? Wa salam
  14. "Curse of Allah and others be on you. You are a weaver and son of a weaver. You are the son of an unbeliever and yourself a hypocrite." - Imam Ali to ash'ath ibn Qays. (In anger) If you can't handle an insult then you're not fit to be debating, I'm insulting your way of thinking not so much you, as I have never met you and nor do I care for you. In Islam I have the liberty, privelage and DUTY to stand up for the truth. You stand againts it, I'm waiting for you to post proof that the world is flat because It seems you have denied all aspects of knowledgeable answers so I want to see your way of thinking first. Awaiting your reply,
  15. This is a thread in which I was hoping to be enlightened in a few topics, My question is, what is the issue In Iraq? On a grand scale what seems to be the problem in Iraq, socially, politically and economically? Here's also a few questions I was hoping could be answered, 1) Is the government corrupt? What is with the demand for regime change, I thought Iraq was democratic now and they chose who they wanted in office? 2) What about the medical and educational system? When I went to Iraq most of the doctors and nurses didn't know what they were doing, presenting my niece with like 7-8 Vaccinations every time she needed medicine for a flu like symptom. 3) Are there kidnappings? I heard that there were gangs and a sort of Mafia in Iraq? This also including organ kidnappings and a huge black market trade that was released in a report given by the CIA. 4) What's with these tribes? I heard there are tribal leaders and they decide the future of the village and people that live in it, by implementing laws of their own and kind of segregating the country. 5) Speaking of segregation, is the country being ripped apart? Shia militias, Sunni, Kurdish, Americans, ISIS, Al-qaeda, Wahabbi etc. Is this all a bigger scheme in the making to destroy Iraq? 6) Is there corruption in the police, law system etc? Didn't the protectors of Mosul fall to this? They were told to stand down by there leaders right? 7) Banking system! When i went there was only cash and markets that took cash, is there no credit cards/debit cards/ loans at the bank? Is dinari a good money system? 8) Do they accept American degrees if one wanted to work there? For example everybody in my family keeps saying they'll treat you with higher respect there with an American education. Thanks, If i think of any more I'll let you guys know! @Dhulfikar seems to be knowledgeable so hopefully I can get some insight, looking for any and all types of answers! Thanks guys
  16. As soon as you start disproving the thoughts of others instead of just claiming "that's not proof" then we will take you seriously. Nah shaitan has nothing to do with what I am saying, liberty is the right of all men. Yet once you start claiming things that could be hurtful to others by straining them from the path of truth then it becomes a problem. You have quoted Imams and claimed that by me telling you that you are wrong (which you are) I am doing the work of the devil. You honestly sound like a Wahabbi or some person who hides behind religion to avoid being pointed out their flaws, which you are overflowing in. I've gone ahead and read your posts and nothing intellectual seems to come out of them. When presented with theories and proof that have been scripted as law based on Physical sense in which we apply to Engineering concepts daily, you totally spaz out and say "Not proof". What I'm seeing here is YOU trying to act smart which is almost hilarious because you must be afraid of accepting the truth which... must mean... The devil's whispering in your ear O_O!! You should repent my friend and seek guidance! I recommend your closest library as a form of it. Pick up a book and come back when you have actual proof that you and your coo coo idea of a flat earth is plausible.
  17. Why is anybody wasting time with this guy? [EDIT] There is a such thing as proving theories wrong but stuff like this is actually unbearable to read. I would never think I'd meet anybody who actually thought the Earth was flat! ALL these intellectual answers and still he somehow keeps on saying "Not proof" *sigh* You were presented with Scientific evidence, Quran evidence, picture evidence etc etc etc. Then whenever somebody gets frustrated and begins to belittle your intelligence (Which is very questionable) you flip the muslim card "Please don't bully me, be kind, it's the muslim way" speaking as a STEM major please stay away from Physics. I was going to give you Kinematic proof that the earth is not flat but seeing as another already did that and still couldn't change your mind It would be a waste of my time. This reminds me of when Neil deGrasse Tyson had to go out of his way to prove to rapper B.O.B that the flat-earth theory was a myth.
  18. It's all about mindset. What your morals are is so important because this "routine" life that most of the westerners have is self destructive. You can choose to adopt it, or you could find your "why" the reason you do what you do, the image you have of yourself in the future is crucial in determining the steps you take in the present. Those people who turn from faith, often find themselves seduced by none other then Humanity's greatest enemy. Once you figure out the agenda of the devil, It's so EASY to see why others turn from Allah. It's appealing; alcohol, sex, money, power all these things that lead good men astray. While most of these Muslims come from environments that support a healthy life style, the west has this freedom code and uses social media, society standards, economic positions to tempt people into following it. Anybody who stands against is considered the enemy of liberty and the west labels them as extremists or crazy people etc. It's a complicated issue but If I had to give you an answer it would be it's Easy. It's so much easier to just integrate into society, change your name, lie about your origin, be an atheist. The west makes it hard for Muslims to strive. I admire anybody who makes it out of the west successful in education, religion and health... What do you think should be done so one shouldn't get affected negatively? Understand their life style how it's repetitive, unhealthy yet still promoted and that in the grand scheme of things, Allah most high always knows what's better for us in regards to what He prescribes us. Wasalam
  19. Superman, Batman, Caeser and Darth Vader debating on Shiachat. I think I've seen it all. @notme, @The Batman, @Darth Vader @Gaius I. Caesar
  20. The beard part made me lol just because It's actually very accurate.
  21. Yup! Precincts are reporting in 76.05% Bernie ll 23.70% Hillary. In Washington 79.2% Bernie ll 20.8% Hillary in Alaska definitely an overkill :P
  22. I just got done voting in the caucus at my university, hopefully this is the democratic nominee. I don't think i could stand Hilary taking that position.
  23. Nice post, I have to agree. You ever hear the quote "People are stupid, individuals are smart." It should be plain logic 1.6 Billion Muslims, 80,000 give or take ISIS soldiers that makes 0.00005% of all Muslims, terrorists. Yet were all painted with the same brush . Watch Mehdi Hasan's debate in Oxford where he completely demolishes the opposing team, winning the debate and proving that Islam is a religion of peace.

Please stop trolling and wasting everybody's time. If you won't see reason then you're just an imbecile, If you deny even your own hadiths as a Sunni you're a fool. The fault is mine for giving you more attention then you deserved. You haven't given one reason as to why the SUNNI Hadith are weak, Mahdi doesn't exist or evidence of ANY kind. Goodbye troll.
  25. What's your proof that Al-Mahdi doesn't exist, or better yet what makes you think he's some kind of political scheme created for.... what purpose exactly? Historically he did exist, I've never met somebody who has denied that. The Prophet (S) said: "al-Mahdi is one of us, the members of the household (Ahlul-Bayt)." Sunni reference: Sunan Ibn Majah, v2, Tradition #4085 It is evident from the above traditions that Imam al-Mahdi (as) is from the Ahlul-Bayt of Prophet Muhammad, so he can not be Jesus (the Messiah; al-Maseeh). Thus, al-Mahdi and Messiah are two different personalities but they come at the same time, al-Mahdi as Imam and Jesus as his follower. The following tradition clearly mentions that Imam al-Mahdi is one of descendants of the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (S): The Prophet (S) said: The Mahdi will be of my family, of the descendants of Fatimah (the Prophet’s daughter) • al-Sawa’iq al-Muhriqah, by Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Ch. 11, section 1, p249 The Prophet (S) said: "We the children of Abd al-Muttalib are the Masters of the inhabitants of the heaven: Myself, Hamza (ra), ‘Ali (as), Ja’far Ibn Abi Talib (ra), al-Hasan (as), al-Husayn (as), and al-Mahdi (as)." These are sunni hadith. So in regards to denying his existence I kind want to see what led you to that conclusion.
