  1. What such a story...does not this Muslim girl know that if she marry with a non-Muslim she's considered an 'infidel'?? or maybe her parents did not make it clear to her on this. but yes I've heard more Muslim girls r marrying non-Muslim men in our generation...I really dont know why this is but what I've heard is common in Muslim sisters living in the west cuz there's a shortage of muslim brothers so the only options r non-Muslims. but of course this is no excuse to turn ur back on ur religion like that & die Kaffir. the only other reason I think is probably that girls mind is too much i
  2. yes it is sister but looks like our culture is changing girls r more braver now & they stand up to their parents more often than the past. Ive seen it happen few times & honestly I dont like it at all. it lowers a woman´s reputation. Thanks 4 ur reply
  3. Lol ur right thanks 4 correcting me. I should have said Muslim communities in general & not specific to Arabs.
  4. this is tragic! those poor people who actually paid so much for a ticket, and shame on that fraud woman for lying her way into getting people's hard-earned money...she must have no shame...and that poor sister who flew in from Indonesia.... ...and you're right it did sound suspect from the beginning like them hosting it at Pennsylvania...i never heard many Muslims or even Arabs lived there , who ever planned it was sure did not think right. if it was hosted at Florida, NJ, CA or Dearborn or other places with large middle eastern comminity it would have more beliefe to it. hey OP, u d
  5. this is tragic! those poor people who actually paid so much for a ticket, will they be given their money back?? i hope so and shame on that fraud woman for lying her way into getting people's hard-earned money...she must have no shame...and that poor sister who flew in from Indonesia.... ...and you're right it did sound suspect from the beginning like them hosting it at Pennsylvania...i never heard many Muslims or even Arabs lived there , who ever planned it was sure did not think right. if it was hosted at Florida, NJ, CA or Dearborn or other places with large middle eastern comminity i
  6. i see what u guys are saying...maybe the word "obey" was too strong but i couold not think of a different word then, what i meant was it does not matter what the religion of the passenger is but the cab driver has to be respectful to his passengers cuz they are the ones paying at the end of the day...perhaps if teh Muslim person said "can u turn off music cuz i have headache" that would make more sense. cab drivers in the middle east are so rude but i would not expect it from those in europe or the usa too. but i actually dont find the Muslim person rude or anything he was polite in fact, what
  7. Anybody see this one before: one person commenting this actually said "that's not racism, only an ignorant Muslim"...if this story true the only ignorant person is the cab driver cuz if the customer Muslim or not when someone request the music down or any other request, cab drivers should obey you no matter what
  8. i did not watch the video either cuz as it says on the screen it may be disturbing for some to see such a thing & i don't want to either...there was another video on youtube few years ago with showing of similar stuff children born in Saudi & Pakistan with defects like these cuz of inbreeding and/or cousin marriages...it was the scariest most disturbing video i ever saw in my life...i don't know what people find pleasure in watching these things??
  9. ^^ hahahaha LOOL !! who thinks he looks better ?? ^^ Arab girls Loooool so true
  10. i know what ur talking about & what feminism means but theirs a lot of uneducated ppl in this part of teh world and they see feminism as a bad thing that challenges their authorityy and threatens them (the men i mean). ive stopped talking about feminism with any other guy i know cuz ive learned its a big turnoff & it will make them never consider me if i do talk about it.....no one learns easy though someone said on another thread that men hate foul-mouthed women....well feminism sounds foul-mouthed to them
  11. i actually know a girl who had a similar story but she did not give birth yet...in her case it wasn't about marrying someone her dad not liking (its not all about that) but her dad knew the REAL person of this man & he kept warning her. another side to this story is that they were related as 'double cousins'...i brought this up in anotehr thread...but the main point was her parents refused for health issue & cuz the 2 families did not like each other or get along at all. they hated each other & her father thought he was a low personality & im sure he was right cuz her dad would
  12. yeah good luck with getting explanation from them...they did same to me & i asked for explanation & no one even replied back
  13. i would have assumed big bankers & corporate elites as the same thing...they're both millionaires & ripping us off
  14. some more! i laughed so hard at this one!! : typical Arab lol :

  16. salaam I'm having trouble understand exactly what happened , why did u lose the person u loved for 7 yrs?? & is she getting marry soon or what? but I know how u feel I faced a similar situation like this too & it hurts A LOT to c the ppl u were good friends with now moving on & having their own lives & ur left all alone. it will make u feel even more lonely & feel ur life is not going anywhere. but what I realised is i needed to busy myself with life & create new opportunities 4 me to start new life & forget the past. like finding new exciting job, continue my stu
  17. yes i understand heart disease is common , i just used it as an example cuz i had nothing else on my mind. the issue is not with heart disease im trying to say that sometimes health issues in the family can prevent people from marrying you or seeing u as future suitor. cuz most people nowadays seems that they getting more & more afraid of hereditary disease and their children getting them so our generation is beginning to take stuff like this as important and making it decide who they marry. back then knowledge was limited & it didn't really matter to people that much. why i say this c
  18. i didn't make these , but i thought they're really funny on typically Arab! how Arabs drive: Arab weddings:
  19. no sister I don't mean it like that of course some people don't look at these things but lots of others do I'm talking about when it's in the family like heart disease or something. but why I say this cuz I realized this happens often & I know it happened to someone I know. I wonder what br Abu hadi can tell us as advice on this issue
  20. what about other factors not in ur list but also important like family or health issues? how can u solve a family problem where u want to marry the person but u know u cannot tolerate the persons' family?? like a demanding or bad tempered father-in-law , how about a VERY manipulate mother-in-law where her word comes first? i know many sisters & brothers would not want their son/daughter cuz marrying them seems to be a box of social problems not happy times. how about family health issues (even simple issues)? if u have a health issue in ur family, most likely people will back away fro
  21. this post is from 2002 but doesn't stop being hilarious!! especially the Macdo cashier I guess that proves the Macdo part-time job stereotype that its mostly a bunch of teens working there with no idea what they're doing. I remember once in grammar school we were playing a geography game where u had to guess the country when given the capital. the miss asked the girl next to me for the country with capital Paris she replied "London" so it was wrong. a different girl responded France and got it right, the 1st girl looked at her AMAZED & told her "u are the smartest person i ever met in my
