Salaam Alykum to all brothers and sisters! This topic 'Divine Guidance' is very important and i think if we consider educational discussion over this topic, we can have some peaceful grounds for Unity of Muslim Ummah. I welcome all my brothers and sisters in Islam to write little bit according to their faith, what is divine guidance. ​ps: Please do not criticize or find weakness in other's faith or belief. Let every Muslim present what they know about Divine guidance. Little more help from my side. I want everyone to write about this topic as per their religion in the following manner: a) Definition of Divine guidance. B) Who has the authority for giving or sending this guidance. c) Is it given directly by Divine authority or there is some chain from authority to us? d) What characteristics this chain (if present as per faith) should have if it is working by the orders of Divine authority? e) Can non divinely appointed is same as divinely appointed for this guidance? f) Is there any example of how the Divine authority uses means to send divine guidance to people from divine book? g) What are the advantages or disadvantages of Divine Guide for guidance? h) What are the advantages or disadvantages of non divine guide for guidance? Brothers, i remind again. Please just first answer these things. Person from every Islamic sect is welcome to share his faith regarding the above questions. No cross questions and no Takfirs. Once we have answer from all brothers and sisters, then another thread by the name of Discussion about Divine Guidance will be opened. jazakAllah ps: To keep it very neutral and for the purpose of Muslim unity please follow this one tip. Salaam You were given very nice and simple answer 'Under Kisa were these five' is not the only hadith for Infallibility . As brother said the key word is Itrah especially whose duty is to carry the divine message of Muhammad s.a.w. Infallibility of our Imams is not only restricted to one verse but the whole concept of divine Imamat and the Imam as an infallible is present in Quran, So thinking about this concept over this limited thought that only 5 were present then other 8 came under infallibility from where is wrong. There are so many flaws in such approach, One cay say ' those 9s son of Imam Hussain a.s were not born at that time so that's why they were not present. Allah never explain His divine laws including Imamat in this fashion. You need to read more than hadith e kisa. JazakAllah .

no not mini threading it. It is open for you i said that clearly , only among shia Muslims it is agreed and completed. This is something really out of context. Lets only look at the matan. Pictures , there is big difference between shrines and pictures over graves. Brother Sometimes you do good things. You made me read some more rules and this is a good this. It says 'any respected Islamic figure' . Then rules regarding 1st three caliphs are regarding open debates over particular topic. This thread does not speak nor deal with you. You should refrain from joining it, over and over. Please guide me shunnis if i am wrong in looking for this love in following areas: 1- Pre Islamic era and love for Bani Hashim by Sunni elders (Umayyans and Tamimis). 2- Incident of shaib abi Talib and sunni elders love. 3- Saqifa bin saida and shunni love for ahle bait. 4- Fatima s.a and shunni love for her rights. 5- Imam Ali a.s as a Caliph and shunni love at battle of Jamal and Saffin. 6- Shunni love for Imam Hassan a,s. 7- Shunni love at Karbala for Imam Hussain a.s. 8- Shunni love towards Imam Ali bin Zainul Abedeen a.s 9- Shunni love of abbasi khalifa Mansur towards progeny of Imam Hassan a.s. 10- Shunni love of ahle bait's shrine in Mutawakkal Abbasi's time I gave you 10 places where you can see the myth of this love by shunni towards Ahle Bait. May Allah curse all those who played even a tiny part equal to sand atom in their killings and zulm, whether by accepting tyrants as khalifa or by poising them. Since 1400 years, muslims were debating our marriage of your second Caliph and from now own there will be a new topic to add, his highness the Ottomon's engagement with A shia sister. What a joke. This is related to fiqah not to Shia Sunni debate. First of all his highness as you are the true muslim, can you name that relationship which you had since last 2 years with this sister of yours!!? It does not sound good from very pious personality who cares so much about Islam and is worried about his engagement, and is going place to place, forum to forum , announcing the very first post over this issue and speak also of " I have been seeing" wow. Ask for fatwa to repent if you think that you were committing any sin by your respected shunni alim. Please beware! some might order you stone to death :) ... Answer if not you but any other person ever comes to this situation, for a sunni man there are few proper ways to tackle this situation; 1- Become shia , believe me you will never end up as companion of Hell by following Allah through Muhammad s.a.w and his progeny p.b.u.t. 2- If you really love the shia female, then respect her family values , repent for the sin, which you had been in and get married to some Indonesian muslim shunni sister of yours. Indonesia is most populated muslim country, if you are having problems here and there, try there. 3- If girl become sunnis then there is big disadvantage in that relationship. You will become very harsh on her, always doubt her. The fact if she can sell her faith for a man then she can be sell her so many things just like this will never left you live in peace and psychologically you will suffer from Major Depressive disorder for the rest of your life. So avoid this one. I say option first is good. Just try it. And May Allah curse those who make fun of religion.
