  1. Thank you brother for all these great suggestions. Is Shakir and Yusuf Ali also accepted by the Sunnis? Since I will be writing articles including Quranic translated verses and read by Sunnis as well, I would prefer a translator somewhere in the middle. Therefore not sure which translation is accepted by both Shia and Sunni? Hope to hear from you, so I can start writing. insha'Allah. Thank you very much again.

  3. Or can I also use Shakir? Yusuf Ali?
  4. Thank you brother for the quick reply. So Sahih International is not preferred? Where can I find phrase translation?
  5. Salaam aleekum, I have the following question. Which English translation of the Holy Quran is the most accurate to use? I see many different English translators but unsure which one is the best. Hope to receive answers as soon as possible. insha’Allah. Thank you very much. May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) reward you. Wa’salam
  6. Thank you so much! May Allah subhana wa ta'ala reward you.

  9. That is not so good to hear. I really would like to receive a PM too as I have/had serious plans to study at the institute! @ icewizard, yes I've checked the website, but I would like to get in contact as I would like to hear experiences from the students.
  10. Wa as salam aleekum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, Are there any students here studying at the Al-Mahdi Institute Birmingham? I really would like to get in contact with some of the respected sisters as I'm planning to study the Hawza programme myself. Thanks in advance!! Eltemase dua,
  11. Thank you very much for the soon reply! May Allah subhana wa ta'aala reward you. Unfortunately the age restriction is 16-25 only, but I've contacted them and I hope it will not be a problem. Any other information would also be more than welcome!!
  12. Wa as salam aleekum dear sisters and brothers, my dear sister Zahra adviced me to open this topic as I sincerely hope that some of you can help me. I have a very urgent question. Can someone inform me about religious organizations from Engeland that organize group tours to the holy shrine of Imam al Redha (as)? Thanks for your help. Wa as salam aleekum,
  13. Thank you for the suggestion! Anyone else?
  14. Salam aleekum, I have to write an essay which is related to Islamic Sources and Law (foundation course). I really found it interesting to do some research on disbelievers/believers and Quranic themes but I just can't specify the topic. The limit is like 3000 words, so the research cant be that voluminous. Does any of you have suggestions or experience in writing an (academic) essay? Or maybe other topics? Please, hope to hear from you asap. Thanks in advance! Wa as salamu aleekum!
  15. Thank you for your post, and I know alhamdullelah that we Shia do NOT ascribe partners to Allah subhana wa ta'ala. I was just trying to get clear why this person I was debating with used such a explanation for this Quranic vers and the verse that according to him and the tasfeer of 'his scholar' refers to alBarzakh. Those were actually my main questions. That's a good advice you have given, but there were also people who were still seeking for the right path of Islam involved, so I tried as much as I can in a proper way to explain that tawassul is allowed. alhamdullelah.
