  1. All (salam) I really want to start wearing an abaya! Thing is, I am entering my last year of college, and after that I will be applying for jobs. I live in a area where finding muslim covered women is extremely rare. ( Im the only "Hijabi" at my university). So, should I wait until I graduate and find a job to wear it, or should I wear it now? This question goes out to the Ladies who are in the same situation as me. What exactly would you do?
  2. Salam Guys- So this girl recently said she was bisexual. I was disgusted and freaked out. Is she allowed to see me without my hijab still or not? Do I treat her as if she is a man?
  3. Biomedical Engineer ( which makes me a dr and an engineer at the same time) Im that cool . Lol
  4. Salam all- I currently am I biomedical engineering student- I created a page and would LOVE it if you guys can join this group about biomedical research- it will contain a lot of interesting things and would love your support! https://www.facebook.com/Mourad.BMERESEARCH?ref=hl Thank you, WS

  6. Ah yes, I actually experience the same thing. Music does pull one away from Allah, you think about the worldly desire- that's ones main focus when musics flows in ones ears.
  7. That was beautiful advice that I hope every girl, including myself will take. Most men, yes will flirt with girls who are not covered properly, but when it comes to marriage, they always choose to marry the one who is fully covered. Am I right, or am I right ? :)
  8. Hmmm see I got some true responses. I also made a research on the net, music can negatively effect your nervous system. Something isnt haram for no reason :D
  9. So, since I swore on the quran I can't listen to music, does that mean I cant listen to music at ALL? Because there is one lebanese singer names fayrouz, I dont find her music haram at all- very old music. Ummm, HELP! lol
  10. Salam! So how many of you DONT listen to music? I recently stopped for good- I swore on the Quran that I will never listen to music ever again, so I can actually stop. I always use to say I will stop, but then one day later I will listen to a song again- so putting my hand on the Quran and actually saying that Im going to stop for good will help. But Can I please have Proof of why its haram??
  11. Hmmm, you're right. Alright- Ill create an account on some online dating and accept the first guy who sends me a request, good idea, no? Awh, very sweet of you- Thank you!
  12. Salam all Soooo, almost all my friends are either married or engaged and they are in their early 20s, and in college. I am not- I am in a really tough major in college, almost there and there are a lot of guys that propose to me- but I just go on with my lovely excuse saying I want to finish. HOWEVER- I'm just waiting for Mr. Perfect to come- I am picky- I will admit when it comes to my future husband. For some reason I want to get engaged this summer- but something is holding me back saying no wait until you finish college because you would not be able to focus. Soo, Im not sure- any advice? What would you guys do, especially those of you who are college students.
  13. Salam- I have a question. What is the actual meaning of this quote by Imam Ali (as): Do not close a door you are not unable to open.
