    Peace both,
I understand that already as i've stated above and thank you. My question referred to not liking a law of God such as the forbiddence of drinking or requirement of both even though one would observe both these laws cause he has to.

I see so in this case the transgressing is covering the otherside of the coin in that when it says you shouldn't make halal as haram that we also shouldn't engage in haram either.
Alright, so this isn't saying that we have to limit ourselves on enjoying the lawful things in life like knowledge and television :)

Aryan Warrior got a reaction from Waiting for HIM in Pride
Pride is an outwardly action in that one goes around and belittling people with his pride, which known as going up to people with insolence and being rude to them as a result of pride. As well it may involve things like refusing to give charity cause you are too proud to give to the poor out of thinking you are better than them in regards to riches. Pride also is inwardly a rejection of belief out of thinking you are too good for it.
I never like the word pride. Arrogance is a better translation word used for what is described.

but by saying that you saying saying that sin=kufr which clearly isn't the case. He simply sinned and not damn himself completely by doing kufr with smoking unless he believed that smoking is halal.
Sounds like someone who out of hate to God leaves Islam and wants to intentionally turn people against him. Good definition so far. Though I wonder if what Shaytan did is rather the most extreme version of Kufr, cause there are kaffirs who don't believe yet won't try to cover either.
but then but that definition an muslims who knowingly commits a sins is a kaffir, which isn't the case. There are many muslims who might do Zina, or other sins and yet those have not been called kufr according to the Quran and rather have been called a sin.
Ah wonderful definition good sir :) So by believing he is better than Adam, he thought he was better than Allah as he rejected what Allah stated in that Adam was his best cretion, thus it was disbelief. So then it all makes sense as to how he disbelieved.

Aryan Warrior got a reaction from 000 in So How Was Iblis A Kaffir?
This has been a question that has been bugging me.
The quran states he is one.
I was always under the impression that Kaffir meanings "disbelief", yet Iblis believed in Allah and his powers and commands. I would think that would make him more a heavy sinner considering what he does.
So what is it that made him a kaffir? was it that he somehow started to disbelieve in some of Allahs commands? Was it that even though God had told him that Adam is better than he is that he disbelieved it? or that he disbelieved that God is correct by beleving that Adam is not as good as he is and thus believed he was MORE correct than God?
This is what I think is the reason of why he is classified as a disbeliever rather than a heavy sinner, but can I get a confirmation?

This was a surprise I must say to me to have it. First and foremost, considering i'm still rather new at learning about the shia faith I hadn't even realized Ashura had hit until the day after. So I doubt it was me just thinking of it too much to cause of the dream.
The dream was a calm dream where a discussion with I think 3 of the ahl al-bayt went on.
What do you guys make out of such a dream? why might I have had it?

That's what I was thinking. From what I got out of it was that everything is okay which was nice to understand as I have been really wondering if i'm doing things right.
And yeah I saw 3 of them but I don't remember which ones specifically.

Aryan Warrior got a reaction from Reshad in Is My Music Halal Or Haram
well the only thing Muhammad said about musical instruments comes from a sunni hadith which is:
"“Narrated Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari that he heard the Prophet saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful…"
Of course depending how you take hadiths in, this is what most people base the musical instrument one on.
Um... you did read the article right!?
"Although music is halal, promoting and teaching it is not compatible with the highest values of the sacred regime of the Islamic Republic," he said."
Khamenei just said Music is Halal. HALAL! he just prefers people to work on other values like science which is fine as I personally believe science is definitely more important too.

Alright thanks :D but in the end that seems to indicate it is about sincerity as one who is running on a trendmill while saying astaghfirullah clearly isn't sincere, while the sincere person will raise his hands and ask for it. Regardless thank you
