  1. (salam) I do ihtiyat between scholars, and the eid has been announced for 2 seperate days(today and tomorrow). Initially I thought it was tomorrow, so I didn't attend eid at the mosque which was holiding it today. But I eventually decided today was eid day, so I missed salat eid. Am I allowed to pray it tomorrow, with the mosque who is having eid tomorrow?
  2. This happens to me sometimes, and well I must say letting out the anger does feel good. BUT what I recommend is joining a gym, lifting some heavy weights or doing BOXING.
  3. im not debating whether it is haram to lie, but whether the money becomes haram. Also secondly in the case of backbiting, i know if you are talking about someone/something that happened to teach a lesson about it, the backbiting becomes ok? So i was think if the same logic may apply here i.e. for a beneficial cause obtanining an income
  4. I wish it was that easy. Reason this question comes to mind is I was just notified of a friend who has same educational qualifications and experience as me, though he just scored a manager position with a $109k salary, whilst I am here unemployed lol. Yes, the exaggeration won't harm anyone involved, nor would it compromise my ability to perform the job whatsoever.
  5. What if you were sincere when you told someone not to commit a sin, but then later you ended up falling prey to the same sin?
  6. Sad question lol. Lying is haram in all instances but if you lie in your job application(i.e. pretend you have worked other jobs) does this make all the money you make from that job in the future haram? a white lie?
  7. What makes a sinner a hypcrite, and what is the difference between a hypocrite and one who sins often?
  8. Well if this is surely the case, i think those #2 have to make themselves know to the poor fellas out there who have yet been able to save half their faith, and are keen on doing so.
  9. (salam) All the local centres are holding nights of qadr with all the amal, is there any basis for this? or is it better to stay at home if you feel more concentration and a better spiritual environment at home?
  10. So you want someone to prove Islam without using the Quran?
  11. Fact is, every single one of you has raised points which are really of zero relevance. Just because you can come up with unanswered questions(as we all can) does not mean the guidance we have been given is not perfect. On the topic of why did God create, the only answer is this “I have created the jinn and humankind only for My worship.” (Quran 51:56). Essentially for our purpose on earth, we don't need to answer all these other ambiguous questions that come to mind, although we may prefer for them to be answered.
  12. Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives ALL sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

    How I Feel.

i dont see that as 'normalising' unislamic behaviour
