  5. @al-Irshad: Subhanallah, this is a very basic topic covered in our narrations from Imam Kadhim and Imam Ridha (Alaihemossalam). Falsafa? Irfan? what's that? this concept of Masheeyat of Allah has nothing to do with that, I am merely talking based on narrations directly from Imams. Even though I have these narrations in Farsi, please give me some time to find the exact source of them and Arabic text so that no one gets accused inshallah. P.S. ادع إلى سبيل ربك بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنه وجادلهم بالتي هي أحسن
  6. Unfortunately we are neglecting/ignoring the other form of existance of our Prophet and Imams in the expense of their physical being. One who has been through intermediary Shia Aqa'eid knows about the concept of Mashee'yat of Allah, and how Allah wishes for something to happen and through what stages it goes before finally taking place including the concept of Bada'. People familiar with the concept of "ilm" of Allah > Masheeyat of Allah > Iradah of Allah > Taghdeer of Allah > Qazaa of Allah > And finally Imzaa of Allah....... know that all these are creatures of Allah and the first and foremost after the Ilm of Allah is Masheeyat of Allah which is attributed to the Light of our Prophet (being the first creature of Allah and then other things being created either using that or by that according to narrations). Unfortunately this is not the place for these kind of heavily detailed and intellectually challenging topic and I advise all brothers and sisters to attend Aqa'eed classes wherever they are. Here in London Alhamdolellah we have many places such as Islamic college (islamic-college.ac.uk) and Hawzah or Hidden Sun Educational Foundation (hsef-uk.org) where weekly jalasahs are held in form of classes. Get in touch with them and attend their classes. Highly recommended. Ya Ali
  7. Well, I don't want to go to the game of bringing narrations as I do not see ourselves qualified to say which narration is mutabar or sahih or not, all I can say at this stage that it is not impossible as we have in our belief that Allah gave the Rizq matter to Prophet Sulaiman (ala nabiyina wa alaihessalam) for all creatures for one day. and not only that, who is it that takes people's lives? Allah surely, but is it not angles that carry this out? Does our rizq and destiny not get presented to our Imam of the time at the night of Qadr? do we not know that Allah has delegated the judgment to Imam Ali (a.s) on the day of judgment? Well i dont personally know how they take care of these matters, or whether they oversee these or actually carry them out themselves, all I know at this stage is that it is something more. We shall dig deeper into narrations if you require us. P.S. A true shia is the one that critically thinks about all aspects of his belief..... Shaykh Saduq is known to have misjudged on the topic of Infallibility of Prophets as he didnt consider them infallibe, and his student (shaykh mufid) corrected him, so please be open to other ideas even though u have heard or read something said by someone else. Ya Ali
  8. Please allow me to simplify the matter for you in couple of sentences dear brother/sister. Historically Mufawwidah was attributed to a group of sunnis who believed Allah has created everything and has left it on its own, meaning he will never interfere, and will not be able/have the power to interfere in the matters. The difference between the true belief of Shia's and Mufawwidah is that Shia's theology scholars believe that Allah has delegated the matters, however those who possess these powers are all DEPENDENT of Allah, and in all times they get these permission to carry out their task from Allah. Allah can take these powers away from them and can interfere himself whenever he wishes. It is Allah's tradition however to carry out things through intermediaries. Hope it helps. Ya Ali
  9. Mashallah you have some good knowledge which is good, All I can say is that brother please do a little bit more research before coming to a firm conclusion please. In many narrations and doas we have that it's Imam of the time that signs and distributes rizq and not only rizq, but your qadhaa and qadar of the year on the night of Ghadr in Ramadhan. Our daily deeds go to him and he takes care of them. On the day of judgment, it will be Imam Ali who will be the judge on behalf of Allah, and again many narrations for this. Thanks to the brother that provided the reference: قَالَ مُصَنِّفُ هَذَا الْكِتَابِ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ مَنْ وَصَفَ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى ذِكْرُهُ بِالْوَجْهِ كَالْوُجُوهِ فَقَدْ كَفَرَ وَ أَشْرَكَ وَ وَجْهُهُ أَنْبِيَاؤُهُ وَ حُجَجُهُ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ هُمُ الَّذِينَ يَتَوَجَّهُ بِهِمُ الْعِبَادُ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ إِلَى مَعْرِفَتِهِ وَ مَعْرِفَةِ دِينِهِ وَ النَّظَرُ إِلَيْهِمْ فِي يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ثَوَابٌ عَظِيمٌ يَفُوقُ عَلَى كُلِّ ثَوَابٍ وَ قَدْ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْها فانٍ وَ يَبْقى‏ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلالِ وَ الْإِكْرامِ وَ قَالَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَأَيْنَما تُوَلُّوا فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي فَثَمَّ التَّوَجُّهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَ لَا يَجِبُ أَنْ تُنْكَرَ مِنَ الْأَخْبَارِ أَلْفَاظُ الْقُرْآن [source: Man La Yahzar al-Faqih Vol.1 Pg.334] This makes your argument invalid, unless you want to go down the line of debating on chain of narrators and how sahih it is, which is known as sahih anyway. Yes you are right, some narrations say that Allah created everything from the Light of our Prophet, however there are also some that say it was the light itself that created everything else. They key to remember is that they are all dependent of Allah and it's him that has given them this power and that he can take it away any second.
  10. No one tries to remove Allah from anything here? The power of Imams are not independent of Allah, they are all dependent on Allah indeed. Allah has delegated all the matters of the universe to the Hujjah of that time. This is Allah's tradition to do things through means and mediums. Regarding taking lives of people, Quran says in one place "Allah takes people's lives", somewhere else "We take people's lives", or "Angles take people's lives".... which are all the same. Gholuw is considering Imam's power independent of Allah and considering them being Azalis. Don't forge we have narrations that claim it was the Light of Prophet Mohammad saww that created the whole universe. This is no big deal if Allah wishes, if he wishes he will order everyone to prostrate to Prophet Adam, and if he wishes, he gives the power to Prophet Isa to create birds from nothing. You can't take this freedom away from Allah And in Quran, when Allah says everyone on the day of judgment falls dead except his Wajh (Face), in Tafaseer that Wajhollah that remains are Ahlul Bait. Ya Ali
