  1. (bismillah) (wasalam) Fajr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkwpIt_147Y Dhuhr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlnFqXEI4Nc Asr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLXCxC3nScg Maghrib http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovQ8R8kEFJQ Isha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7B7T4EnQyT4 Note - There are some things he does in the prayers which aren't wajib, if you'd like I can look through and tell you which things I notice which aren't wajib.
  2. Says an "e-scholar" who has probably never watched any serious lectures, or lessons (e.g. bahth al-kharij), or studied, the issue of khums (even someone who has done so would most likely be in a position where he should only relay what he has learnt, and not give his own opinion). I won't speak for others, but I'd take the ruling of my marja' over the words of a teenager on the forum who has probably just read a hadith here and there and thinks because of that he knows better than some*/all maraja' [* I put the clause of some because I don't know the rulings of all maraja'] (wasalam)
  3. (bismillah) I don't mean to come across as judgemental etc but it is wajib to do the prayers, even if there isn't a prayer room. If there is somewhere permissible to pray you should pray there, even if there are non mahrams there (as long as it is permissible to pray when there are non mahrams, I dont know the ruling) because you feeling uncomfortable does not mean you can miss the salah. If it is not permissible to pray if there are non mahrams there then I don't know what can be done. I would advise you to speak to a knowledgeable scholar if you can, and see what they tell you to do.
  4. This advice may be wrong, i'm not a scholar, nor have i studied islam, but i too have had ocd, i too have had random thoughts popping up, i too have doubted the existence of Allah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì. Make firm your faith in what you believe in through gaining knowledge on the topics, and proving through rational, that which can be proven through rational (Some things can be proven rationally such as the existence of God, some things cant be proven rationally such as why fajr is 2 rakats, but once you rationally come to the conclusion that Islam is right, then you would naturally accept fajr bein
  5. (bismillah) (salam) This is my own opinion, and I don't know if its the correct thing or not, but its what I would do if I was in your situation. In no particular order 1. Make sure you do all of the wajibats and refrain from all haraam acts 2. If your questioning of Allah (swt) and Islam is just whispers and not based on anything then ignore them, but if they are based on something (e.g. you don't know the reason for certain theological beliefs) then seek knowledge on the topics, through books, lectures, speaking to the scholars etc 3. I would highly recommend watching the lecture serie
  6. إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ In my opinion, it is very likely that it is someone trying to cause discord between the shias and sunnis.
  7. I don't know. The best thing would be to ask an alim. By the way, with regards to not being able to go toilet, you could try eating things which will help such as prunes. I think increasing your fibre intake in general will help, though I could be wrong. Do bear in mind though that if you increase your fibre intake, you should do it gradually, a sudden increase can not only leave you feeling bloated but also cause more flatulence (gas/wind) to come.
  8. (bismillah) (salam) With regards to general help on how to stop this from happening, I would advise you to try and go toilet before prayer, it can help alot. With regards to the fiqh, assuming that you fall under the category of a person suffering from incontinence, then here are the rulings from sayyid sistani's website that I found.
  9. Just a off topic comment - Prayer times are not the same all over UK.
  10. wa alaykum as-salaam. There is a centre not too far from you, it is called Mehfil Ali Here is their address: SICM, North Harrow Assembly Hall, Station Road, North Harrow, Middlesex HA2 6A Here is their website: http://www.sicm.org.uk/ Note: It says Tuesday 9th July being the first night of Shahr Ramadan. I don't know if that is the first night or not.
  11. I didn't really read much on this thread, was skimming and saw this part of your comment, just thought I would quickly mention something (it's totally unrelated to the thread discussion, I don't say this to argue pro or anti anyone, just pointing something out) I am not sure if in our fiqh it is allowed to dispose of the Qur'an by burning it or not. Regardless, sayyid sistani condemned what that pastor wanted to do The related part of the quote: http://www.abna.ir/data.asp?lang=3&Id=203403
  12. Mohamed Al-Nimr recently visited the Sheikh, the Sheikh is recovering health wise, however as usual the trial is delayed
  13. (bismillah) (wasalam) Whether the story is true or not, I don't know, but what I do know is that, that picture is not from what is being claimed, he was in hospital some years ago (4th Muharram 1432), in Riyadh, and the picture is from there.
  14. (bismillah) (wasalam) Something you can do to prevent it from happening is by going to the toilet before salah. Based on what you said, I personally think the reason why it happens is because you eat food, but it's not enough to go to the toilet, yet it's enough to make you keep producing gas. To add, it's possible that you are producing a lot of gas, but at the same time some of it may just be shakk and so what could happen is sometimes you re-do your wudhu when there was no need to, and this just adds to the problem. It can even make it harder later on to differentiate. shakk - This term has
