  1. Abu Abdullah (as) said: Our Shia – by Allah – do not get involved in sins and errors. They are the elite of Allah azwj whom He has chosen for His religion. And these are the Words of Allah: ... there is no way (to blame) against the doers of good (9:91)
  2. ... has Shiism, as a religion, rendered from red (a religion of matyrdom) to black (a religion of mourning)? Just food for thought.
  3. You left me feeling nostalgic, used to read his books when I was a teenager ...
  4. Bro Ali_Hussain, tq for the link. I have been there before thanks. The theme to the refutations are recycled items, sadly.
  5. That's what I suspect too. If this is a modern day / current rehash of Minhaj As-Sunnah, then in the academic sense, there is not much to it. As I walk with an academic mind, I was just wondering if Al-Haddaadee came with some other clever twist ... anyway, I'll wait for a while for the pdf to surface ...
  6. Salam, Just wondering if anyone has read and can provide a content-preview to this book. It is pretty recent and I can't find it over the internet, for now. Appreciate if anyone can contact TOYIB OLAWUYI or pm him here (I read he is in ShiaChat too) to give some comments. === A GIFT TO THE SUNNI IN DEMOLISHING THE CREED OF THE SHIAH [Paperback] Sheikh Alee Al-Haddaadee (Author) 2012 Description from Amazon: Within the hands of the reader is the english translation of the book: Takreeb La Taqreeb (Ruin Not Raprochement). The title has been appropriately changed to: A Gift to The Sunni
  7. I came across this hadeeth which please comment. If it is not authentic / doubtful do comment too. I am just curious to find out more because it is quite weighty. I simplify it in point forms: RasulAllah SAW said the Muslim Ummah will be under five (5) banners in the Day of Judgement:- 1. The first banner, the Pharaoh of this community, and he is Muawiya. 2. The second, the Samiri of this community, and he is Umar Bin Al-A’as. 3. The third, the Catholic of this community, and he is Abu Musa Al-Ashary. 4. And the fourth would be with Abu Al-Awr Al-Salmy. 5. And the fifth would be with
  8. When to recite and what is the benefit of Ziarat Jamia Sagheera (I just learnt that there's long & short ver to it) ... tq
  9. Ali-F, lets say you are lost in the woods and you hv no compass, the ulema says you hv to pray 4 times in 4 different directions (each 90 degrees apart from one another "just like the separation of the N-E-S-W directions"). If no water, can do tayammum.
  10. I know that there are many merits to fasting in the early days of ZHJ, but what about the first 9 days of MUH? OK am asking this to motivate myself :)
  11. haha mebe you hv a point. reminds me of how happy zakir naik was when he 'saluted' yazeed with 'radiallahuanhu' ...
  12. I wonder why there exist seemingly "strong" evidence (with virtues) on fasting on Ashoora (10th MUH) in the Sunni hadeeths. I wonder is it because: 1) they are fabrications, or 2) there was a clear command to keep fast but later "abrogated" / "rescinded"
