I would like to present some good news to you. As you know, I reverted in Ramadan 2011, and since then haven't talked much about it to my relatives. I did speak to my classmates, but TBH they don't care much about Islam, and weren't interested to know about the Ahlulbayt.
However, this time two of my cousins came to my city (they live in a different city). I was apprehensive about telling them about my decision, since they are extremely religious, and come from a religious family, and think of themselves as Wahhabis (ie, they are against graves, etc.)
However, I pioneered a new way of telling them about Shiaism. In short, I first interrogated them abut Imam Ali (as), and his descendants. When they are unable to tell, then I showed them the hadith of Thaqalayn. They had known all their lives, "Quran and Sunnah", but I showed them that it was actually "Quran and Ahlulbayt". I also showed them the 733 sources of Ghadeer Khumm from the al-islam/ghadir website. By this time they were properly spooked out, and then, for the final blow, I showed them the video of Syed Hadi Modarresi refuting the Saudi Grand Mufti, in which the Grand Mufti praises Yazid live on TV. That was what finally kicked them off their own Wahhabi beliefs.
Then I showed them the Quran verses of fasting till night, wiping the feet, and paying Khums. At this point, they were all despairing, and openly admiting that they were one of the 72 wrong sects. Then I dropped the bombshell, that Shia follow the Ahlulbayt, fast till night, wipe their feet and pay Khums. Then, luckily, they openly admitted that Shia were right, and took the decision to become Shia.
I'll show you the video of the Saudi Grand Mufti praising Yazeed. Keep in mind that this bright spark has been responsible for 2 converts upto now in just my own family, and who knows how many worldwide.

So, in short, after myself converting two of my very religious, university student/graduate cousins have reverted to Shiaism too.

The very fact that people don't want to talk about him means that his character is extremely dubious. Because, if he was as great as his supporters claim, nobody would be ashamed to discuss his great achievements for Islam.

After the death of the Prophet(PBUH) everyone lived happily ever after.
Then suddenly a "misunderstanding" happened between Bibi Fatima(AS) and Umar, but everything was cleared up later successfully.
Then everyone went back to living happily ever after.
Then suddenly a band of khawarijis led by Ibn Saba killed the third rightful Caliph, but everything was cleared up in the end.
Then everone went back to living happily ever after
Then suddenly there were battles of Siffin, Jamal, and Karbala happened, but everything went back to normal
Ok, Yazid wasn't great, but then after him everyone went back to living happily ever after, again.

I already made a post on a previous topic discussing this issue, in which I showed sources which say that the average life expectancy back then was about 30 years. In that case, 9 years is 1/3rd of a person's life. Nowadays people marry at 20, while the life expectancy is around 70, which is still around 1/3rd of a person's life. So the relative age of marriage has remained the same throughout the ages.

Both Bashar and the FSA are *****s but Bashar is politically useful to Shia, so although both sides are evil we'd prefer Bashar to win.
However, there is one difference. If the FSA win, then Shia will be mincemeat. Just like Taliban ruled Afghanistan, and Al Qaeda ruled Iraq. Daily bombings and beheadings. If Bashar wins, Shia will be in one piece and thankfully alive.

NOTE TO ADMINS!!! Please, you may find this post disgusting, but Its not my fault because this is a Sahih hadith and I am only trying to understand it. I am not making any nonsense disgusting comments, but keeping it strictly scientific and logical.
    ===========================================================================
Dear Sunnis, I was browsing through Bukhari and came upon a hadith that puzzled me very much. Could you please enlighten me to it?
    My questions are:
    0) SERIOUSLY, WHAT THE HELL?
    1) Did she allow Abu Salama in her house because he had breastfed off her sister Umm Kulthum bint Abi Bakr or the daughters of her brother?
    2) Could she not describe how to take a bath using words, like NORMAL people do, all the time (Including many many times in this very forum)? Why could she not just describe the method? What was her problem?
    3) If Rasulullah(SAAW) was alive, would he approve of her "live performance"? What would his reaction be to her "live performance"?
She was behind the screen. Ok. In that case, what was the meaning of this live demonstration? If they can't see her at all, there's no use in what she did.We assume that there was a lamp or some light source behind her, so that her shadow was projected on the screen. So they would know how to take a bath (like the Prophet(SAAW)) based on her shadow.
Now, please excuse me, and I feel disgusted as I write this, but, people usually remove all their clothes when taking a bath, except for some/most Muslims, who wear a light towel like garment around themselves. So,
4a) Is it halal for a woman to show off her naked body in front of other men, by projecting its outline against a screen?
If we assume she had a light garment on, then be aware that when you pour water on your clothes, they stick to your body. If you dont' believe me go and pour a mug of water over yourself and see the result. So, now we come to the question:
4b) Is it halal for a woman to wear wet clothes, clinging to her, and show off the outline of her body in front of other men, by projecting its outline against a screen?
At this stage we may as well come back to question
    3) What would Rasulullah(SAAW) have thought of this?
When having a bath, you MUST, you HAVE to clean your entire body. Your Ghusl is not valid otherwise. And Naturally the Prophet(SAAW) did ghusl according to the rules. You cannot have the Ghusl of the Prophet(SAAW) just by pouring a pot of water over your head. Mama Aisha was showing the ghusl of the Prophet(SAAW) Now,
    5) Did Ummul Mu'mineen Aisha wash her entire body in front of two men? Entire body meaning entire body?(I do not want to discuss disgusting details specifically, this whole topic is disgusting enough)
5a) IN FRONT OF TWO MEN?????????? While they were IN THE ROOM WITH HER????
    6) In order to teach the men, did she give a running commentary on what to do as she was doing it? Or did they just watch her outline on the screen, as she washed herself, reaching in under her (already wet and clinging) clothes to wash all the parts of her body?
    7) What would the Prophet(SAAW) say if he was present at this moment? Imagine he walks in right now. What would he say?
Now, after having a bath, (and we assume she was wearing some sort of garment because the alternative is too horrible, too scandalous to imagine,) usually what people, sorry, what NORMAL people do, is to change their clothes. So,
    8) Did Ummul Mu'mineen Aisha change her clothes in front of those two men? Is this permitted in Islam? And what about doing it while your shadow projected on a screen for two men to enjoy learn? Is that permissible?
    9) What would Rasulullah(SAAW) have thought of this?
    10) Should we teach our wives and daughters that it is OK to do what Ummul Mu'mineen did?
    11) Would you accept it if your wife did this? (I am assuming of course, that in your zeal to follow the Sunnah of the righteous Sahaba you are not already following this practice.)
    12) Are there some things that Ummul Mu'mineen did that are just unacceptable and wrong?
    13) Do some actions of Ummul Mu'mineen bring shame and dishonour upon the Prophet(SAAW)?
That will be all for now. Please know that I feel absolutely DISGUSTED by this, and would prefer not to bring it up at all, but the problem is that these sorts of ahadith exist, and non Muslims may mock us. And if it offends some, be aware that it is just a fact that this hadith exists in Bukhari.

The gallop is very much like the canter, except that it is faster, more ground-covering, and the three-beat canter changes to a four-beat gait. It is the fastest gait of the horse, averaging about 25 to 30 miles per hour (40 to 48 km/h)
    -Wikipedia
At 25 mph it would come to 106,200,000, which gives a % error of 13.7%. ----------------(1)
Now, this is the speed of an average horse.
But Arabian horses are supposed to be specialized for endurance, rather than burst speeds. I couldn't find a direct speed of an arabian horse cited, but from an "endurance riding" page, the speed for a galloping horse is given at 15-25 mph. So 22 mph is within that range. So an Arabian horse could well gallop at 22 mph.

In practice, if you go to a court of law, you will find that it always provides more weight to direct evidence, rather than circumstantial evidence. If you have direct evidence and circumstantial evidence directly contradicting each other, then always the direct evidence is taken and circumstantial evidence is discarded.
We can hardly discard all the reports of the secret burial of the daughter of the Prophet (saw), the denying of the pen and paper to the Prophet (saw) to write his will, and the threat to attack the house of Sayyida Fatima and Ali (as) , which are recorded in Sunni sources as well, to say nothing of the injuring of Sayyida Fatima (as) , which is recorded in Shia sources. Also remember that the grave of Sayyida Fatima (as) is still unknown to this day. These are all stronger evidences of a bad relation between Umar and the Ahlulbayt. We cannot discard all those evidences.
Considering everything, I would say that the marriage might be a fabrication or a confusion, with another Umm Kulthum being mistaken for Imam Ali (as) 's daughter.
