313_Waiter reacted to Abu Nur in Allah swt’s question to Iblis
    Salaam Aleikum,
This is one of the tafsir of the verse:
"O Allah's Messenger, Allah says: 'Eblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you one of those who are exalted?' (38:75) Who are those exalted ones whose ranks are higher than the angels'?"
The Prophet (s) answered: Those are Ali, Fatima, al-Hasan, al-Hussein, and I. We were in the pavilion of the Divine Throne praising Allah. The angels were imitating us. That was two thousand years before the creation of Adam. When He created Adam, Allah, Powerful and Exalted is He, ordered the angels to prostrate themselves before him. Allah did not include us in this order. All of the angels therefore prostrated except Eblis who rejected to prostrate. Referring to the five individuals whose names are recorded on the pavilion of the Divine Throne, Allah said to Eblis, 'Was it because of your pride or are you one of those who are exalted?'

The word بِيَدَيَّ is the plural form of 'hand'. In English hands. When this term 'hands' is used in reference to Allah(s.w.a), it is a metaphor that is referring to the Power of Allah(s.w.a) to create. He(s.w.a) uses the term 'with my hands' for human beings to understand because that is how human beings create things, with their hands. Also when you say 'with my hands' or 'with my own hands' in English, it is also pointing to the fact that you did this by yourself with no help or assistance, otherwise you would say 'we created this' instead of 'I' created this with my own hands.
If you want to look at an alternative translation of  خَلَقْتُ بِيَدَيَّ it might be 'I created as a result of my Power'.
So by using this phrase, Allah(s.w.a) could be drawing the attention of Iblis(la) to the fact that 'just as you were created as a result of my Power, Adam(a.s) is also created as a result of my Power, so you two are equal in this, so why do you feel you are above him ? '. And of course Allah(s.w.a) knows exactly why Iblis(la) feels the way he does so it is a rhetorical question.

As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu   Allah swt says in the Qur’an, قَالَ يَا إِبْلِيسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقْتُ بِيَدَيَّ ۖ أَسْتَكْبَرْتَ أَمْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الْعَالِينَ {75} [Shakir 38:75] He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones?
We, the school of Ahlulbayt a.s know that his hands refer to his power, according to Imam Reza a.s.
So my question is, why did Allah swt point this out to Shaitan? Did Allah not create him with his power as well?
Also, why does Allah specifically use the plural hands and not hand to refer to his power as in other verses?
    JazakAllah Khayr
    Wassalam
