I believe it's going to happen regardless. Like I said before it's a tool, like a hammer. You can use a hammer to build a house for a needy family. You can use the same hammer to kill them. Same tool. 
You don't need to see a women's form or her chest or her backside to work with her and collaborate with her for positive purposes. You need to be able to talk, exchange ideas (like what we are doing now). I don't think this tech would hinder the actual positive work and collaboration. 

You would still need self control. The glasses could be easily removed. The self control would be to keep them on. Men have a strong physiological (not just psychological) reaction to seeing these images. It is somewhere on the spectrum between being distracted and being tortured (varies depending on the man) but the waswas of Shaitan is very, very good at convincing men that this is something good. 
There have been many studies done on this. The less men see these images, the less physiological reaction they have in their day to day lives, i..e not in the 'bedroom' with their wife and the more they have the reaction when they are with their wife. This is called a positive feedback loop. It is positive for the man, as well as society because he is more likely to stay with / love his wife and less likely to 'cheat' or to bother women who are not his wife. What we have currently in society in the name of 'freedom' is a negative feedback loop where the men (whether they realize it or not) are always having these physiological reactions in their normal lives, just walking down the street, at work, at school, etc. Viewing Pornography is also a contributing factor to this, but this is 'by choice'.  When a man sees a women in various stages of 'undress' whether that is the full form (clothed but skin tight) or partial clothing, no clothing, etc,  the physiological reaction kicks off. They have no choice in it 'kicking off', because this is how Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) made them and denying the reality of it doesn't change the reality of it. They have no choice in it 'kicking off' but they do have a choice in how they control it after that point. At the same time, for those men who don't have the strongest will power, even the ability to control the stage after that diminish over time. Only taqwa will help them null this effect. 
Societies of the past understood this 'effect' which is why they all had standards regarding women's dress. Modern societies have disregarded this wisdom of the ages and the only reason is to sell products. They know that the 'freedom' they talk about will put money in certain peoples pockets, and that this the only reason they disregard this wisdom while knowing full well that disregarding this wisdom is greatly harming the family and society in general. 
Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) made this physiological reaction the 'glue' that will keep together the husband / wife relationship. When this 'glue' is something common, it is not viewed as valuable so it has less power to 'stick' the husband and wife together (in terms of their marriage relationship). When it is not common, it is more powerful and more able to do what it is intended to do. This is reality and this is how Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) created it and created us. We are seeing the effects of the diminishing power of this glue i.e. porn addiction, divorce, 'bedroom' problems for guys, etc. The glasses wouldn't replace self control, but they would be a 'tool' for a man who wants to maintain his chastity and purity in a society which is increasingly going the other direction.

Salam however there is Abjad letters and Numerals & book of Al-Jafr which you can decode these things from shia numerology which Abjad letters are available to everyone but  on the other hand Al-Jafr is a secret book & science which only few people in Hawzas knew about it which it needs learning it from a trustworthy teacher in Hawzas not any frausd on Internet because it's a serious konwledge which only a part of it available to trustwortthy shia scholars which completle knowledge of it will be came by imam mahdi (aj) after his reappearance although we can benefit from this small share of it through a trustworthy scholar .

In another section of the book he writes: "Imam 'Ali was the inheritor of the science of letters from God's messenger, subsequently, Imam Hussein, then Imam Zayn al-Abidin, then Imam Baqir, then Imam Sadeq. And Imam Sadeq was the one who dived within the oceans of this science and revealed its secrets and the one who spoke of the science of jafr and letters and discretely write about it and said: Our knowledge is a hidden book on a patulous sheet…that is in the possession of us, Jafr Abyaḍ, Jafr Aḥmar, Jafr Akbar and Jafr Asghar who will all accompany Imam Muḥammad Mahdi at the end of time and the Imam is the only one who knows it (science of letters) complete."[10]

(13 / 45) x 100 = 28,8888%
With this simple equation, we have reached the miracle result that has been present in the Qurʾān for 1431 years, but that has only been recently discovered by scientific data and computer technology.

The percentage of land on our planet is = 28,8888%
Anything that is grounded in reality and doesn't contradict Islamic ethics or ʿaqāʾid is valid, allowed, encouraged etc.

The brother says not to contemplate on meaning of surahs / prayers, only attach your heart to Allah without thinking about anything (see min 17:00). Anyone know the reason behind this?
I thought you should always contemplate meanings of these things during salah.

From a religious framework, if these teachings come from the Ahlulbayt ((عليه السلام)) then they are valid.
If they do not then they are invalid. 
 
But these do seem to be “esoteric” teachings.

I don't have an immediate answer for it because all efforts about promotion of Shia numerology and Imam Khomeini’s Irfan have been too rare or too weak promtion by some individuals likewise Yahya Christian Bonaud which he has translated some books about Irfan from Imam Khomeini in French which only few people in his university maybe read it which about Shia numerology i only know that Mr.Musa in Kanat Eleyoun has talked about it which he mostly talks for few people with arabic language which previously he has had few english talks about it.

Why would she even need my permission for doing that? Religiously, she need my permission for some specific things, for instance when going out of the house etc. 
I have never considered that any of my relatives (you named above) would need my permission, specifically for doing something which is in line with the Islamic laws. 

Depends on what you mean by unity. Peaceful coexistence is definitely possible, in the west so many people of different religions coexist peacefully.

first of all, if you watch porn, you must seek counseling now, because this problem will open the gates to potentially some major problems later - for example in my case using a sex worker for gratification. Even if you occasionally watch it. It’s going to lead to a serious problem later and you need to get help NOW. Counseling, sexaholics anonymous, anything. Just get help NOW. It creeps up on you, trust me.
moving on. So about 25 years ago I first discovered this evil creation at my computer as a 13 year old. Little would I know it would take me down a path of infidelity and destroying my marriage as a 38 year old.
at first it became a habit of about 1-5 times a week as a teenager through my 20s. Then At 26 I got married to amazing woman who turned out to be an amazing mother to our 3 children. 
I told myself that once I get married I am going to stop watching this filth. But I just couldn’t stop. It became a habit almost every night for YEARS. In the beginning my wife and I were childless, so we always had sex on a regular basis. However after the children came, it fell to the side as she got quite occupied with being a mother, plus she would work too so she would be very tired at night(and hence not be in the mood). This brought more frustration for me. I would nag at her for intimacy however a lot of the time I felt like she just wasn’t interested. In hindsight, I could have done more things around like house like cooking to help her get some of the load off of her. I could have done a lot to help her out. Unfortunately though, with the addiction to porn you feel like you have a shortcut to pleasure, and you tend to not put in much effort into the relationship because of this.
Fast forward to current times. This addiction got me to the height of sin, to a point where the dopamine hit from videos just didn’t “hit the spot” anymore. My mind started justifying doing “other things”. Sad to say, it ended up in me using a sex worker which I regret. My wife found out and now, well you understand.
again. I ask all of you who have an interest in watching porn, don’t ruin your life. Please go and get help now. You might think that watching a video videos and masturbating is not a big deal, but I’m telling you it is. Fix this mental disease now before it ruins your life. I have three children, three beautiful children and I am asking myself how on earth did I come to this point.

Salam yeah you can do it in similar fashion of Sunni anyway according to shia islam you also can have congregation with to person too.
By default you must follow shia way but if you have had to do Taqiya so then you can mimic them.

SOULLESS SECULARISM: THE SECOND VULTURE
In the 1990's there was a widely circulated photo of a vulture waiting for a starving little girl to die and feast on her corp. That photo was taken during the 1993/94 famine in Sudan, by Kevin Carter, a South African photojournalist, who later won the Pulitzer Prize for this 'amazing shot'. However, as Kevin Carter was savouring his feat and being celebrated on major news channels and networks worldwide for such an 'exceptional photographic skill', he lived just for a few months to enjoy his supposed achievement and fame, as he later got depressed and took his own life! Kevin Carter's depression started, when during one of such interviews (a phone-in programme), someone called in and asked him what happened to the little girl. He simply replied, "I didn't wait to find out after this shot, as I had a flight to catch..." Then the caller said, "I put it to you that there were two vultures on that day, one had a camera". Thus, his constant thought of that statement, later led to depression and he ultimately committed suicide. Kevin Carter could have still been alive today and even much more famous, if he had just picked that little girl up and taken her to the United Nations Feeding Center, where she was attempting to reach or at least take her to somewhere safe. Today, regrettably this is what is happening all around the world. The world celebrates stupidity and inhumane act, at the detriment of other. Kevin Carter should have taken the girl away from that place, which will cost him nothing, yet he didn't. Here is the inhuman posture, "he had all time to take his shot, but he had no time to save the girl's life". Thus, we must all understand that, the purpose of life, is to also touch lives. So are you too a Vulture. In whatever we do, let humanity come first, before what we stand to gain out of the situation. In all we do let's always think of others and how we can be of benefit to humanity, how we can lend a helping hand and wipe away tears. Hence, when we seek knowledge, wealth, fame, skills or even positions, let's think of how we can use it to benefit the people and society at large. Today, there is a lot of poverty in the land, so if our God Almighty has blessed you, be a blessing to others, extend a helping hand to those in need. Remember, you giving, is also a way of appreciating divine blessings, bounties, and favour of God Almighty upon you. Therefore, it is very important that we all should help the poor and needy, the orphans and widows amongst us, so that they can meet their needs. Please don't be a Kevin Carter, be human and think humanity. Beware, we humans are not humans, if we lack humaneness in all we do.
