  1. It is definately clear but there is soo little that I couldn't dab it. I tried this and the tissue immediately absorbed it. I tried it again anotrher more tactfully but still too little to determine if it is sticky. I tried with my finger still too little. But the issue is there is a very very small dark stain on my boxers after I leave the washroom and check a 30 seconds later so thats what causes my concern. Can I just assume its 'wadi' and get on with my life without worrying that all my ibadat is completely useless? Maybe I should wear diapers!!! wassalam. La fatah ila Ali.
  2. Salam: So I finish taking a shower (did not do any ghusls) and I want to do wudhu. I rub the towel on my head or use a blow dryer. Does the hair and head need to be dry? Is it okay if the hair and head are damp? what if the hair is dry and the scalp feels damp? This is of course, concerning the masah of the head as generally when you do wudhu, those areas that partake need to be dry. This is not an issue for the arms and legs becasue they can be dryed quickly but the head poses a question for concern. Shukran wassalm La fatah ila Ali
  3. Salam: Thanks. I have posed the question and I will post the answer when I have recieved it wassalam. La fatah ila Ali
  4. Bismilahirrahmaniraheem: Salamun 'alaykum w/r w/b: So here is the scene: I have a Christian roomate. He used a wooden spoon to stir a pasta meat sauce which contained ground beef which was non-halal (non zebiha meat). He put the wooden spoon into the dishwasher. It comes out clean and dry and he puts it back into the kitchen drawer. Next day I use that wooden spoon to stir some rice bioling in a pot. I eat that rice. Question: Have I just eaten something that has been contaminated buy a najis utensil? i.e I know that when something is Najis buy, I believe pork or non halal meat, or a dog licked it, then you need to wash with at least, kalil water seven times. Is the dishwasher a sufficient form of cleansing that the utensil doesn't need to be washed seven times once it has been washed by a dishwasher? Also, is there a difference if a utensil is contaminated with non-halal vs specifically pork? Or is that not an issue? Please reply with sources from Ayatollah Sistani (my Marja). Shukran wassalam 'alaikum w/r w/b. La fatah ila Ali
  5. Bismillahrirahmaniraheem: salamum `alaykum: Also if you think about it, It tells us the akhlaq to use when we are around the Imam of our time (Imam Sahibuzzaman (a.s)) when he arrives. Inshallah soon. wassalam La fatah ila Ali
  6. No the sweat is not najis, as janabat is a spiritual najasat and not a physical one. Sources: 1) http://www.al-islam.org/organizations/aalimnetwork/msg00406.html 2) http://www.ask.or.tz/viewtopic.php?f=100&t=2435
  7. Bismillahirrahmanirraheem: Salamun 'alaykum Going back to the original post. I also have read this fatwa recently. My question is..what is 'Wadi' scientifically speaking? I mean...how can it not be left over urine that did not get squeezed out? Also, my experience with 'wadi' is just a slight moisture at the tip after Istibra and so how can one know the difference between urinary incontinence vs 'wadi' (some times urinary incontinence can be just one drop). Furthermore the statement below seems ambiguous: ``The moisture which is discharged by man during wooing and courtship, is called 'Mazi'. It is Pak, and so is the liquid which is seen after ejaculation. It is called 'Wazi'. Similarly, the liquid which at times comes out after urine, is called 'Wadi' and it is Pak if urine has not reached it. If a person performs Istibra after urinating, and then discharges liquid doubting whether it is urine, or one of the above mentioned three liquids, that liquid is Pak." How does one know if urine has not reached it? colour? smell? Shukran. wassalam. La fatah ila Ali

  9. Bismillahirahmanirraheem Salamun 'alaykum: I was performing wudhu and I came to the part about washing and wiping the arms. 1) The water must be poured above the elbows, pouring the water on the elbows invalidates wudhu. This is what I remember form madresah at least. I made an observation and I would appreciate feedback/clarification. Lets say you are washing your right arm. so, you cup the water in your left hand and pour the water above the right elbow. IF, as the left hand is approaching the right elbow, and a few drops of water fall from the left hand and hit the right arm below the elbow, does this invalidate wudhu??? even if those few drops are not part of the 'main down pour' of water above the right elbow??? 2) Masah of the feet I did masah of the feet yesterday and as I was wiping my left foot with my middle finger of my left hand touched the ground for an instant as I was wiping. Does that invalidate the wudhu? would I have to start all over again? I do not know if it matters but the ground was dry and so no 'new' wetness was added to my hand, if anything, I probably lost a little wetness. Shukran wassalam La Fatah ila Ali
