  1. No, I'm talking specifically about QIYAMAH. There should be a Hadith from Ahlul Bayt (as) about this.
  2. I have a Joke, no need to be offended because I'm half pakistani and I find this funny . A paki and black guy jumps of a cliff .... Who survives? Society. LoL
  3. Incredible. You see, this is the state I want to reach. Well, who wouldn't? I know I'm asking a lot of questions, I'm sorry, but is there a biography on the life of Sheikh Bahjat? I'm really interested to see what he personally did in order to gain such closeness to Allah swt and Ahlul Bayt(as) Edit - found something http://www.al-islam.org/uswat_alarifin/
  4. Dude ... Give me a break lol , talk about far fetched :P ahmedinejad is Shia , not illuminati , kapeesho.
  5. That's really interesting! This shows how ascetic scholars were able to do these miracles. the part I bolded, does it mean Allah will bestow some of his power and authority to such a servant? Can you briefly explain that part ?
  6. It might mean something... MIGHT.... I mean, I had a dream that I saw the ka'ba split up into 6 or 7 rectangle shapes and it was in HD. What could this possibly mean???
  7. lol that's what I thought, but no.. Just Ahmadinejad showing his cool side, I guess. Rock On.
  8. Why can't Aya. Khamenei release a harsh statement on the oppressive leader and legislation of Bahrain? Would this help?
  9. .....I thought you'd be banned by now Jen, you clearly seem have no interest in Islam and I've seen from your other posts how you try to bash Islam "behind the scenes" , very sly. Other people may not see it, but I do. @ akf "Allah says: My servant cannot get closer to me by something more beloved to me than what I have made fard (obligatory) on him. And he can get close to me with the nafila (mustahab) until I love him. And if I love him then I will become the hearing through which he hears and the sight through which he sees and the tongue through which he speaks and the hand that he hits with. If he calls me I will answer and if he asks me then I will give him. " I finally understand this , its amazing, is it in Hadith Qudsi?
  10. +1 You're very right, I must take a realistic practical approach and let spirituality come naturally. Btw isn't "being spiritual" an emotion in itself, though? I know one thing. In order to reach the aspect of getting "closer to Allah" you must connect with your soul, so would meditation, in a place that has a positive vibe, be good to achieve this along with prayer? or is Salaah sufficient do you think? I just want to add, when I say I want to reach spirituality and asceticism, I mean it in a way of "feeling closer towards Allah and the Ahlul Bayt" , and even FURTHER than that. I hear these stories of Aalims such as ayatollah Bahjat who had reached such a spiritual station that apparently he could transport from one place to another. I've also heard of this other great scholar who had the ability to "fly" .... Are these things possible for even us laymen?
  11. Thanks everyone for the enlightenment you've given me, i really appreciate it. syedabatool, i've read that book "Concentration in Prayer" before and i forgot about it! I'm reading it again, and i really recommend everyone to read that book, its awesome. Anyway, you're all right that Salaah is the only way to achieve the asceticism that i really need along with recitation of Quran n Duas. I'll also read the stuggles of the Ahlul Bayt (as) and how they dealt with various situations, since i can implement it into my life .. Can anyone recommend good books of Ahlul Bayt (as) , such as their full biography and every event that took place in their lives? I want to read something like this, it will help me a great deal. Jazakallahx
  12. Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah dear brother:)
