  1. What's wrong? Because every country that has done that has made a biiiig mistake. Look at Iraq. Do you honestly think that America sticking its nose in the problem is going to give the solution, and out of all nations.. America?
  2. (bismillah) (salam) source: presstv.ir Does anyone else smell a possible war? 8 countries have already sent their ships to Libyan waters.... (wasalam)
  3. (bismillah) (salam) Ah yes. It is at that point in your life when you drop everything, stop what your doing and raise your hands to Rabna swt. It is at that point that when you reach sajdah or raise your hands, it is not you that speaks, it is your soul complaining.. I don't think I can count the amount times that this sort of stuff has happened, but don't worry, you have come to the awareness of the evilness of the duniya. This life and the evil limits of people's souls, as well of the Shaytan himself, can push you yourself to the limit and make you someone that you are not. It is at this point where you speak to none other than Allah. Yes, it becomes hard when you feel like the world does not listen and you are not answered. It hurts to know that you are existing when you are yet to realise your purposes .. but it takes time of course, with your effort, to be healed spiritually. Once healed spiritually, you will look at the world and deal with situations from a whole different point of view. And your Lord says: "Call on Me; I will answer your Prayer!" (Surah 40: 60) Know that Allah is there for you, despite the fact you could have committed a thousand sins and feel ultimately like krap, his doors are open. Do dua, stay put with your salat and read quran, so that you may always renew this love that you have for Allah and your sincere repentance to him. (wasalam)
  4. OMG LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. (bismillah) (salam) hmm, never had it done on myself. But I know quite a few people, including my sister, and they say laser does wonders. you need to go regularly though, and what you spend is worth it.. the hair disappears gradually after every treatment, making you go less and less to the salon. (wasalam)
  6. (salam) Funny narration because that would make Rasulullah a hypocrit (astaghfirullah)... Sayyeda Fatima (as) was one of the first women to write and read the quran in the religion of Islam. I can't reason with this hadeeth at all. (wasalam)
  7. meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :yaali:
  8. (bismillah) (salam) Hope everyone is in the best of health and wellbeing.. I sincerely hope my question does not offend anyone. It is out of my pure and honest curiosity and reasoning, and I want to hear people's opinions. Many Shias say that we need to unite with our Sunni brothers/sisters of faith. The reason why I can't get past this statement is we have such different beliefs and they, clearly, support and praise the people that are the reason why we do Tabarra... not to mention that every time they say (ra) for these people, it offends the love that they should have for Ahlul Bayt (as) ... So what do people mean exactly when they say they want "Unity" ? Truth is, I stumble on this issue many many times and fail to see the reasons as to why we should reunite when deep down we know that their beliefs will and always be the same. Help me out... (wasalam)
  9. (salam) I have a dua that is said to be helpful for childbirth. A couple of women I know have had this dua recited to them in times of labour and alhamdulilah it soothes the woman. Dua Yastasheer: http://www.duas.org/alaviya/dua1.htm (wasalam)
  10. hmm I guess it wasnt your fault but don't go to parties like that in the first place. Repent and May Allah swt forgive you, he is the most Merciful :) (wasalam)
  11. The best kind of wealth is to give up inordinate desires. (Imam Ali as.)
