  1. Islamic new year must be one in which Muslims promote peace and unity People said that things would calm down once the dictators had gone. But the dictators went and the conflict continues. They said that new laws and policies would re-establish order in countries, but they just fell into worse disorder. Brother continued attacking brother, and brother countries represented threats to one another. Refugee camps were established. Muslims in Syria and Muslims in Burma were unable to return to their homes. Every morning when they got up, people heard reports of new disasters, bloody images of the dead and protests filled with hatred. Was anyone speaking of love, friendship and peace? Sounds of conflict between Israel and Palestine were heard on the last night of 1433 Hijri-2012 AD. The Palestinian people wept. The Israeli people wept. It was again the innocent peoples of Palestine and Israel who suffered. We need to look carefully at the confusion in the Muslim world. Why is this happening? Because part of the Muslim world is in a state of error. That error lies in producing divisions and harboring lovelessness instead of love under a mask of religious devotion. People have been indoctrinated with the demands of radicals and bigots in Islam, as in all faiths and ideologies and opinions. Bigotry has suddenly become regarded as more powerful than the true Islam based on the Koran. And this has become regarded as the real Islam. As a Muslim woman, I have always been criticized by certain circles for advocating the morality of the Koran boldly, for communicating the importance of peace, love, democracy, freedom of thought and respect to every idea and for seeing Christians and Jews as my brothers and sisters, for respecting people from every thought and for espousing unity. I have always asked people to give me evidence from the Koran about the things that they criticize me for, yet I have never received a response to such calls. I have asked them to tell me with evidence from the Koran why they are so prone to hatred, how could killing be that easy for them and why they preferred conflicts over peace and why they keep away from music, art, science and aesthetics. As a matter of fact, I always knew that they wouldn’t be able to give evidence from the Koran. That is because Islam is not such a religion as they present it to be. Nevertheless I have shown them evidence from the Koran of the beautiful morality I advocate one by one and I continue to do so. This new Islamic year should be the year bigots and radicals will be educated with the true Islam. In this new Hijri year, we should wage a powerful intellectual struggle against this false understanding of Islam. Muslims should be educated as true Muslims that understand the message of love in the Koran. It needs to be communicated that the real Islam deems killing unlawful and never permits aggression and attacks on the other side. It needs to be explained that the true concept of jihad set out in the Koran comes from the root “jahd,” which means “striving” to tell the other side of moral virtues using knowledge, science, beauty and love. People need to be told that women are compared to flowers in the Koran and occupy a superior position and that arts, science, beauty, quality, music, dance, joy, friendship, merriness, unity, brotherhood, culture and education are deemed essential and agreeable things for Muslims. In this new Islamic year, I, as a Muslim, want to see Muslims come forward as people who embrace everyone, from all faiths, races and sects. I want to see Muslims who are united among themselves and who seek to unite the whole world in bonds of brotherhood. I want to see Muslims who treat Jews and Christians as brothers, rather than launching rockets at them. I want to see people of love with radiant faces on the papers instead of suicide bombers or protesters with swords in their hands. I want the Islamic world to become a world of love, peace, friendship, affection and joy. Before all else, I want to see Muslims embracing each other with love and unity without making any discrimination among sects. And then I want Muslims who embrace Jews and Christians with love and feel compassion for everyone no matter which religion or ideology they adopt. We urgently need such togetherness in this current disorder in the world. Otherwise, good people would always remain weak and powerless while those who create disorder, who regard good and honest people as a threat to them, who benefit from conflict, would continue with their sinister plans and grow even stronger. Allah is always with those who are steadfast and good. And the time for the world to become a beautiful place is imminent. 2. Sections from the President Mahmud Ahmedinejad's Speech at the Untied Nations about Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) - 67th United Nations General Assembly, New York, 26 September 2012 - In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon the greatest and trustworthy Prophet (saas) and his pure progeny, his chosen companions, and upon all divine Mmessengers. Oh, God, hasten the emergence of Your chosen beloved [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)], grant him good health and victory, make us his best companions, and all those who attest to his rightfulness. .. ........ Creating peace and lasting security with decent life for all, although a great and a historic mission can be accomplished. The Almighty God has not left us alone in this mission and has said that it will surely happen. If it doesn't, then it will be contradictory to his wisdom. God Almighty has promised us a man of kindness, a man who loves people and loves absolute justice, a man who is a perfect human being and is named Imam Al-Mahdi, a man who will come in the company of Jesus Christ (pbuh) and the righteous. By using the inherent potential of all the worthy men and women of all nations and I repeat, the inherent potential of "all the worthy men and women of all nations" he will lead humanity into achieving its glorious and eternal ideals. The arrival of the Ultimate Savior will mark a new beginning, a rebirth and a resurrection. It will be the beginning of peace, lasting security and genuine life. His arrival will be the end of oppression, immorality, poverty, discrimination and the beginning of justice, love and empathy. He will come and he will cut through ignorance, superstition, prejudice by opening the gates of science and knowledge. He will establish a world brimful of prudence and he will prepare the ground for the collective, active and constructive participation of all in the global management. He will come to grant kindness, hope, freedom and dignity to all humanity as a girl. He will come so mankind will taste the pleasure of being human and being in the company of other humans. He will come so that hands will be joined, hearts will be filled with love and thoughts will be purified to be at service of security, welfare and happiness for all. He will come to return all children of Adam irrespective of their skin colors to their innate origin after a long history of separation and division linking them to eternal happiness. The arrival of the Ultimate Savior, the Righteous [Hazrat Mahdi] and Jesus Christ will bring about an eternally bright future for mankind, not by force or waging wars but through thought awakening and developing kindness in everyone. Their arrival will breathe a new life in the cold and frozen body of the world. He will bless humanity with a spring that puts an end to our winter of ignorance, poverty and war with the tidings of a season of blooming. Now we can sense the sweet scent and the soulful breeze of the spring, a spring that has just begun and doesn't belong to a specific race, ethnicity, nation or a region, a spring that will soon reach all the territories in Asia, Europe, Africa and the US. He will be the spring of all the justice-seekers, freedom-lovers and the followers of heavenly prophets. He will be the spring of humanity and the greenery of all ages. Let us join hands and clear the way for his eventual arrival with empathy and cooperation, in harmony and unity. Let us march on this path to salvation for the thirsty souls of humanity to taste immortal joy and grace. Long live this spring, long live this spring and long live this spring. 3. Hazrat Ali describes the situation of those who mislead people, despite being perverse and having no knowledge There are two kinds of people that Allah dislikes most among all His creations: the first are those who have ceased to walk on the true path, who have deviated from the true path and have become random, uncontrolled entities. THEY PRAISE THINGS INVENTED SUBSEQUENTLY AND WASTE TIME OVER THEM; THEY ALSO LEAD PEOPLE TOWARD PERVERSION AND DISTRACT THEM FROM THE TRUE PATH. They are mischief to those who follow them and become corrupted, they have become corrupted off the way of their predecessors. They incite those who follow them in life or after death. They also assume the crimes of others; they have also sunk among their own crimes. AND THE OTHER IS THOSE WHO HAVE COLLECTED IGNORANCE IN THEIR LOWER SELVES; THEY INCITE THE IGNORANT ONES. They have dived into the darkness of corruption that enfolds all places; THEY ARE EXTREMELY BLIND WHEN IT COMES TO RECONCILIATION. THE ONES WHO DO NOT KNOW CALL THEM SCHOLARS. BUT IN FACT THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF ANY KIND. They pass the night until morning and have collected together the majority of things which are auspicious when they are few. They then extend their stomachs with foul, dirty water; they collect foul things and bring them together and imagine they are treasure. THEY ASSUME THE TASK OF FREEING DOUBTFUL THINGS FROM PEOPLE EXCLUDING THEMSELVES AND SETTLE TO ISSUE RULINGS. IF ASKED ABOUT UNKNOWN THINGS, THEY START SPEAKING SENSELESS AND MEANINGLESS WORDS;they issue definitive pronouncements; the fact is that they have doubts and look alike mosquito trapped into spider web. They themselves do not know if their pronouncements are true or false, if their pronouncements are right, they are afraid they don’t happen to be false and if they pronouncements are false, they hope they are true. They are ignorant, and they stumble among the darkness of ignorance and walk by; and they ride on blind camels.THEY HAVE NEVER COME UPON KNOWLEDGE. THEY HAVE NEVER HAD KNOWLEDGE, THEY HAVE NEVER CONSUMED KNOWLEDGE. THEY TELL STORIES UTTERING WORDS AS IF EATING DRY GRASS ON THE PLAINS. Thanks be to Allah that, as they have no power to pronounce on things asked of them, so they are not knowledgeable of the things asked of them. They imagine that other people are also ignorant of and deny the things that they deny. They believe there is no alternative to their own paths and pronouncements and that other people will not hold different opinions to their own. WHEN SOMETHING THAT SEEMS DARK TO THEM HAPPENS, THEY SEEK TO COVER THEMSELVES WITH IT; THEY DO NOT WANT OTHERS TO KNOW WHAT THEY DO NOT KNOW. They weep blood and cry out because of the torment in their pronouncements. I complain to Allah of those who live in ignorance and die in perversion. There is nothing less precious than books on the sight of those people, if read justly;but if words are taken out of context and meanings are altered, there is nothing more precious and profitable. In their opinion, nothing can be worse than what is good, and nothing is better than what is evil. (Nahj al-Balaghah, part 4) www.awaitedmahdi.com
  4. The secret knowledge that Bediuzzaman Said Nursi revealed about our century Until being called to the mercy of Allah in 1960, Bediüzzaman Said Nursi, the mujaddid of the 13th Islamic century, spent his entire life calling on people to believe in Allah, and to live by the moral values of the Qur’an. He suffered much in that cause, but he was always content with the life he led and faced all the difficulties he encountered with great submission, fortitude, faith and joy. His Risale-i Nur Collection, a commentary on the Qur’an, is full of much wise teaching that clearly reveals his joyous love of Allah, his deep faith, and his devotion to His religion. Bediüzzaman is a scholar who, in addition to having powerful faith, also possessed secret knowledge revealed to him by Almighty Allah. Many of the reports in question have come to pass in our own time. Bediüzzaman Said Nursi Described How the Way of the Dajjal Would Increase Its Influence in the 40-50 Years after Him, and How the Persecution and Oppression of Muslims Would Intensify “At this time, a man’s one sin does not remain one sin, but sometimes grows and spreads and becomes a hundred. (...) IN THIS TIME, AND PARTICULARLY 40-50 YEARS ON, evil and wickedness will not remain on the perpetrator; THE RIGHTS OF PERHAPS MILLIONS OF MUSLIMS WILL BE VIOLATED. MANY EXAMPLES WILL BE SEEN IN 40-50 YEARS’ TIME.” (“Old Said” Period Writings, Damascus Sermon, p. 350-1)In that particular sermon, Bediüzzaman made highly important statements about the state of the Islamic world 40-50 years after him. Calculating 40-50 years after the Master being called to the mercy of Allah in 1960, this indicates the dates: 1960+40 =2000 1960+50 =2010. Indeed, in line with the dates clearly and miraculously revealed by Bediüzzaman Said Nursi, the influence of the way of the dajjal has increased in the 2000s. Since the early 2000s, the Islamic world has been under the effect of serious problems such as conflict, anarchy, terror and the slaughter of the innocent, that show the way of the dajjal is at work. Muslim countries, especially Afghanistan and Iraq, have been invaded, and tyrannical despots have inflicted terrible cruelty in many Islamic countries. His Foretelling of the Events of 1971 On the basis of abjad calculations of verses from the Qur’an, Bediüzzaman foretold events that took place in 1971, 20 years beforehand, and these have all come to pass to the letter. Abjad calculation of the reference in verse 3 of Surat al-Falaq to “the darkness when it gathers” gives a date of 1971. Bediüzzaman Said Nursi refers to 1971 in the following passage: “If they are counted together, they make 1971, and give news of some ghastly evil at that date. If the crops of the seeds of the present are not rectified, the blows will certainly be terrible.” (The Rays / The Fruits of Belief - Eleventh Topic - p.289)In 1971, Turkey came to the brink of a military coup, a memorandum was issued and these events had a huge impact on the country’s social and political history. There followed a period of anarchy, fear and terror. Bediüzzaman Said Nursi wrote his Rays treatise between 1936 and 1949. Therefore, the Master foretold social events that would take place in 1971, about 30 years beforehand, and everything he said came to pass. His Foretelling the Formation of the European Union and the Glad Tidings of the Subsequent Reign of Islamic Moral Values In his “Münazarat,” (Disputations) written in 1911, Bediüzzaman foretold the establishment of the European Union, the foundations of which would only be laid 46 years later: “At that time Old Said said: ‘THE OTTOMAN GOVERNMENT IS PREGNANT WITH EUROPE. IT WILL GIVE BIRTH TO A GOVERNMENT LIKE EUROPE. And Europe is pregnant with Islam; and it will give birth to an Islamic state,’ he said this to Sheikh Bahid. That learned individual said, ‘I corroborate that.’” (Münazarat, p. 147) In foretelling the European Union, Bediüzzaman also foretold the reign of Islamic moral values in the End Times: “AND EUROPE IS PREGNANT WITH ISLAM; AND IT WILL GIVE BIRTH TO AN ISLAMIC STATE.” (Münazarat, p. 147)He Knew that Communism Would Collapse Another of Bediüzzaman’s predictions concerns the collapse of communism and the USSR, nearly 80 years after his own day. Said Nursi foretold this event, that nobody could even have imagined so long beforehand, to a Russian soldier: "Three lights will be revealed one after another in the Islamic world of Asia. Three shadows from your side on top of each other will be revealed. THE DESPOTIC CURTAIN WILL BE TORN AND PUCKERED, AND I WILL COME AND BUILD MY SCHOOL HERE." The Russian soldier said: "I am amazed at your optimism" Bediüzzaman replied: "And I am amazed by your thinking. Do you really think this winter can last? Every winter has a spring, and every night a dawn." (The Unknown Aspects of Bediüzzaman Said Nursi, p. 144, Nesil Yayınevi)Bediüzzaman Knew Beforehand the Date of His Death and that His Grave Would Remain Secret In his poem Eddai (The Supplicant), written in 1920, Bediüzzaman Said Nursi described in detail the date of his death, and how his grave would be demolished shortly afterward. The abjad value of the name of the poem, “Eddai,” is 86, Bediüzzaman’s age at death. “My demolished grave in which is heaped up seventy-nine dead Said's with his sins and sorrows.” The term “seventy-nine dead” refers to the year Hijri 1379. The Master died in that year. “The eightieth is a gravestone to a grave;” As described in these words, the Master’s grave was destroyed shortly after his death, in Hijri 1380, and his remains were transferred elsewhere. The Master wrote the Eddai between 1918 and 1920. In other words, by Allah’s leave and mercy, he revealed the time of his death 40 years beforehand. In addition, on page 186 of his Barla Addendum a letter by his student Hafi Ali says, “... the servant of the Qur’an of the 14th century served the Qur’an directly and without exception from the age of nine to sixty...” The Master was 60 when that letter was written. And above the word “sixty” the Master wrote the words, “eighty-six” in his own handwriting. He thus predicted, 26 years before the event, that he would live and serve the Qur’an until the age of EIGHTY-SIX. References to the Years 1980-1990 from Bediüzzaman Said Nursi In his famous sermon at the Umayyad Mosque in 1911, Bediüzzaman provided important dates for the appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) and the period when he would be active: IN [13]71, THE SUN BEGAN TO RISE (al-Fajr as-Sadiq) OR WILL BEGIN TO RISE. EVEN IF THIS IS ONLY THE INITIAL REDNESS IN THE HORIZON (al-Fajr al-Kazib), IN 30-40 YEARS AL-FAJR AS-SADIQ WILL APPEAR. (The Damascus Sermon, p. 23)Said Nursi stressed the time 30 and 40 years after the year Hijri 1371. 1371 + 30 = 1401 = 1980, the time of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) 1371+ 40 =1411 = 1990 Thirty years after Hijri 1371 equates to Hijri 1400, or 1980 AD, the date given by our Prophet (pbuh) for the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). The 1990s are the years when Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is active.Bediüzzaman’s References to the Year 2001 In the next part of his Damascus Sermon, Bediüzzaman refers to the 2000s, the period 50 years, or half a century, after Hijri 1371. “... He sent to the eight fronts of those eight foes. He has now begun to repulse them, INSHA’Allah, HE WILL SMASH THEM IN HALF A CENTURY’S TIME.” (Damascus Sermon, p. 25) Hijri 1371 +50 = Hijri 1421, or 2001 AD The 2000s are a very important time, when Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will intellectually silence the atheist ideological system by virtue of the means provided by science, scholarship and civilization. Bediüzzaman Said Nursi Described the Internet Years Beforehand In his Words, written in 1929, Bediüzzaman Said Nursi referred to the Internet, which only came into use in the 1980s. … in the tiny amount air expended with the word HE, the innumerable different exchanges, centers, receivers and transmitters of all the telephones, telegraphs and radios in the world so that each could perform those innumerable acts at the same time… (The Words / Thirteenth Word - Second Station - p.174In this passage, Bediüzzaman speaks of an advanced technology that will perform all the functions of technological equipment such as the wireless, telephone, telegraph and radio. It is quite clear that in this extract, Bediüzzaman is referring to the Internet, which only began being used 50 years after his own day. Bediüzzaman Foretold the Coming of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) in Hijri 1400, a Century after His Own Day In all his statements made at different times, Bediüzzaman referred to the Hijri 1400s as the time of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). In another passage, Bediüzzaman states that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will appear 1400 years after the Age of Bliss: “[THEY] SUPPOSED A FACT THAT WOULD OCCUR IN THE FUTURE OF THE WORLD ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED YEARS LATER TO BE CLOSE TO THEIR CENTURY …” (The Words, The Twenty-fourth Word: Third Branch, Eight Principle, p. 318)As Bediüzzaman says, “1400 years after the time of the Companions” equates to the beginning of the Hijri 1400s, or 1979-1980 AD. In his sermon preached to 10,000 people at the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus in 1327, Bediüzzaman made references to the future of the Islamic world after Hijri 1371. He noted the time of the struggle of the awaited Mahdi by giving various dates in the End Times. Bediüzzaman provides the following dates for Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) starting his work and intellectually defeating the atheist mindset: "The truths in the Damascus Sermon regarding the fate of the Islamic world after 1371... may be not now but 30-40 years later, in order to fully equip science and knowledge acquired through arts, science and skills, the goodness of civilization and those three forces, and to overcome the nine obstacles, He sent inclination for investigating the truth, moderation and love for human beings to the fronts of those nine foes. By Allah's Will, He will demolish them after half a century. (The Damascus Sermon, p. 25) In this address in Damascus, he indicates events that will take place after Hijri 1371 and states that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will commence work 30-40 years after 1371. That date equates to Hijri 1401-1411, or 1980-1990 AD. In another part of the same address, Bediüzzaman says that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will intellectually silence the atheist ideological system by using the means afforded by science, knowledge and civilization. He gives the date for that intellectual superiority as half a century after 1371. That means Hijri 1421, or 2001 AD. Another statement by Bediüzzaman regarding the End Times reads: IN [13]71, THE SUN BEGAN TO RISE (al-Fajr as-Sadiq) OR WILL BEGIN TO RISE. EVEN IF THIS IS ONLY THE INITIAL REDNESS IN THE HORIZON (al-Fajr al-Kazib), IN 30-40 YEARS AL-FAJR AS-SADIQ WILL APPEAR. (The Damascus Sermon, p. 23) The years when the true dawn (al-Fajr as-Sadiq) will appear, according to Bediüzzaman, are: 1371 + 30 = 1401 = 1981 1371 + 40 = 1411 = 1991According to this analysis by Bediüzzaman, atheism and the materialist philosophy, the ideas that represent falsehood against the Truth, will begin falling apart in 1981-1991 and will be completely silenced and ideologically dispersed in 2001. (Allah knows the truth) Another passage from Bediüzzaman Said Nursi about the coming of Hazrat Mahdi reads: There are such intellectual trends at that time that even if that person WHO IS TRULY AWAITED AND WILL COME IN A CENTURY’S TIME comes at that time... (Kastamonu Addendum, p. 57)Bediüzzaman Said Nursi is referring to Hazrat Mahdi in the words "that person who is truly awaited and will come in a century’s time," and emphasizing that he had not yet appeared in his own day. In addition, he says that he is awaited by Muslims and will come one century after his own day. Bediüzzaman lived in the Hijri 1300s. So the century after his, the Hijri 1400s, is when Hazrat Mahdi will appear. All this information goes to show that Bediüzzaman was a great scholar and a blessed individual. He was inspired by Allah to foretell many things that have taken place in our own day. And as he says in his works, by Allah’s leave, Hazrat Mahdi will appear in this century, the “Spring of Islam,” or Islamic Union, will come about and the moral values of Islam will prevail in the world. Bediüzzaman Said Nursi won the love of thousands of Muslims through his high virtue and sincere work. Everyone who knew him was amazed by his sincerity and friendship that reflected the warmth of religious moral values, and harbored a great and sincere love for him in their hearts. Although many years have passed since his demise, he is still remembered with love by those who knew him or who never knew him but have read even a single book by him. The Significant Contribution of the Risale–i Nur to the Islamic World Bediüzzaman Said Nursi preached the existence of Allah and the moral values of the Qur’an with great steadfastness over the years. His written and spoken preaching was instrumental in many formerly heedless people surrendering themselves to Allah, to acquiring a deeper faith and deciding to live in a manner that is pleasing to Him. He continued with this holy duty even after his death though his Risale-i Nur. That work is still continuing today. Bediüzzaman concentrated the essence of the Qur’an in his soul, had the insight to see the truth and fine details of events, and discussed everything that he knew in his own self, and that he thought people would need, in the wisest and most sincere language in his works. Every line and paragraph of the Risale-i Nur should therefore be reflected upon at length. These are works that people must see the wisdom of and draw lessons from. Indeed, everyone reading them with a sincere heart can easily find the answers to any erroneous ideas they may have and matters they are ignorant of through these works. In Bediüzzaman’s own words, the Risale-i Nur “swiftly heals people who are spiritually wounded and looking for the truth.” www.awaitedmahdi.com
  5. The Period of Hazrat Mahdi's (pbuh) Rule in the Torah and Other Judaic Scriptures And at that time... the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of God... (Maimonides, Mishnah Torah, Laws of Kings 12:5) Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. (Isaiah, 51:11) And at that time [Hazrat Mahdi's (pbuh) time]... they will perceive the esoteric truths and comprehend their Creator's wisdom as is the capacity of man. As it is written: "For the earth shall be filled with knowledge of God, as the waters cover the sea..." (Maimonides, Mishnah Torah, Laws of Kings 12:5) ... In the last days... He [the Lord]... will settle disputes for many peoples... Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. (Isaiah, 2:2-4; Micah, 4:1-3) ... Burn them [the weapons] up—the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears... They will use them for fuel... declares the Sovereign Lord. (Ezekiel, 39:9-10) The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together, and a little child will lead them... The lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the hole of the cobra, and the young child put his hand into the viper's nest. They will neither harm nor destroy... (Isaiah, 11:6-9) Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy... (Isaiah, 35:5-6) Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs... (Isaiah, 35:6-7) I will call for the grain and make it plentiful... I will increase the fruit of the trees and the crops of the field. (Ezekiel, 36:29-30) In that time [Hazrat Mahdi's (pbuh) era] there will be neither famine nor war, neither envy nor strife. All good things will be bestowed in abundance, and all delicacies will be accessible like dust. (Maimonides, Mishnah Torah, Laws of Kings 12:5) They will feed beside the roads and find pasture on every barren hill. They will neither hunger nor thirst... (Isaiah, 49:9-10) In the generation in which the son of David [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will come... all the wild trees... will bear fruit; for it is said in Scripture, for the tree bears its fruit, the fig-tree and the vine do yield their strength. [Joel, 2:22] (Talmud, Kethuboth, 112b) The Lord will be Ruler over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and His name the only name. (Zechariah, 14:9) ... For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea... (Isaiah, 11:9) ... They will see the Glory of the Lord, the splendor of our God. (Isaiah, 35:2) ... The Lord alone will be exalted in that day, and the idols will totally disappear. (Isaiah, 2:17-18) They will follow My laws and be careful to keep My decrees. (Ezekiel, 37:24) They will no longer defile themselves with their idols and vile images or with any of their offenses, for I will save them from all their sinful backsliding and I will cleanse them... (Ezekiel, 37:23-24) ... [At the time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), people] will do no wrong; they will speak no lies, nor will deceit be found in their mouths... (Zephaniah, 3:13) Justice will dwell in the desert and righteousness live in the fertile field. (Isaiah, 32:16) .... You will eat all the food you want and live in safety in your land. I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove savage beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country. (Leviticus, 26:5-6) ... They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them... (Amos, 9:14) ... The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low... (Isaiah, 2:17) No longer will the fool be called noble, nor the scoundrel be highly respected. (Isaiah, 32:5) ... In the [Hazrat Mahdi's (pbuh)] age... with very little effort they will be able to accomplish very much. (Maimonides, Mishnah Torah, Sanhedrin 10:1) The Messianic age [the age of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will be... outstanding in wisdom... (Maimonides, Mishnah Torah, Sanhedrin 10:1) ... In those days [of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] knowledge, wisdom and truth will be increased in the world, as it is written "... and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh"... 6. The Characteristics of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)in the Torah and Other Judaic Scriptures Righteousness will be his [Hazrat Mahdi's (pbuh)] belt, and faithfulness the sash around his waist. (Isaiah, 11:5) With righteousness shall he [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] judge the poor, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth... (Isaiah, 11:4) He [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth [he will influence with his words without having a weapon]; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked [he will make them spiritually ineffective by his speech.] (Isaiah, 11:4) He [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will [then] correct the entire world to serve God together, as is written: "For then I shall turn to the nations a pure tongue, that all shall call upon the name of God to serve Him shoulder to shoulder." [Zephaniah, 3:9] (Maimonides, Mishnah Torah, Laws of Kings 11:4) "Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit," says the Lord Almighty. (Zechariah, 4:6) See, My servant [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted. (Isaiah, 52:13) He [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] was given authority, glory and sovereign power. All the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed. (Daniel, 7:14) ... Son of David [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), like the Prophet Solomon (pbuh)]... reigned only over his couch... (Talmud, Sanhedrin 20b) I will take away the chariots... and the battle bow will be broken... He [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will proclaim peace to the nations... (Zechariah, 9:10) ... The spirit of the fear of Lord shall rest upon him [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)]... His delight shall be in the fear of Lord... (Isaiah, 11:2-3) ... That king who will arise from the descendants of David [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)]... will therefore [be able to] teach the people the ways of God and to fear Him... (Maimonides, Mishnah Torah, Repentance 9:2) ... A king [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will arise from the House of David... and repair the breaches [in the observance of Allah's Laws]... (Maimonides, Mishnah Torah, Laws of Kings 11:4) ... His [Hazrat Mahdi's (pbuh)] resting-place shall be glorious. (Isaiah, 11:10) He [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] smells [a man] and judges, as it is written, and he will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears; but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. [isaiah, 11:3-4] (Talmud, Sanhedrin 93b) How beautiful... are the feet of those... who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation... (Isaiah, 52:7) The Sages did not ask him [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] for any signs or wonders. (Maimonides, Mishnah Torah, Laws of Kings 11:2) He [Messiah (Hazrat Mahdi [pbuh])] will achieve great fame, and his reputation among the nations will be even greater than that of [the Prophet] King Solomon... (Maimonides, Mishnah Torah, Sanhedrin 10:1) ... What is his (the Messiah's [Hazrat Mahdi's (pbuh)]) name?... His name is Shiloh [sent by God, gift of God]... His name is Yinnon [His name shall endure]... His name is Haninah [blessed by God]... His name is Menachem [the comforter]... Because Menachem [the comforter], that would relieve my soul... Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows... (Talmud, Sanhedrin 98b)
  7. The Events Leading up to the Appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) in the Torah and Other Judaic Scriptures The generation when the son of David [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] comes... all the governments will be turned over to Minuth (will embrace the religion of the Minim [atheism]), and no preaching will avail... (Talmud, Sanhedrin 97a) In the footsteps of the Messiah [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)]... fearers of sin will be despised, and truth will be lacking. (Talmud, Sotah 49b) In the generation when the son of David [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] comes... an evil man will be honored. (Talmud, Sanhedrin 97a) In the footsteps of the Messiah [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)]... the government will turn to heresy, and there will be none [to offer them] reproof. (Talmud, Sotah 49b) In the generation in which the son of David [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] comes… [There will be] plunderers and plunderers of the plunderers... (Talmud, Kethuboth 112b) ... In the seven-year cycle at the end of which the son of David [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will come... the arrows of hunger will be sent forth... a great famine, in the course of which men, women, and children, pious men and saints will die. (Talmud, Sanhedrin 97a) ... The vintage shall fail, the ingathering shall not come. Smiting upon the breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine; for the land of My people whereon thorns and briers come up; yea, for all the houses of joy and the joyous city. (Isaiah, 32:10-13) In the generation when the son of David [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will come... multitudes of trouble and evil decrees will be promulgated anew, each new evil coming with haste before the other has ended... (Talmud, Sanhedrin 97a) [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will not come... unless they will renounce their hope to be redeemed. (Talmud, Sanhedrin 97a) In the generation in which the son of David [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will come, the houses of assembly will be converted into houses of prostitution. (Talmud, Sanhedrin 97a) In footsteps of the Messiah [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)]... a son will not feel ashamed before his father. (Talmud, Sotah 49b) In the footsteps of the Messiah [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)]... the dewellers on the frontier will go about [begging] from place to place without anyone to take pity on them... (Talmud, Sotah 49b) I will gather all the nations... to fight... the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile... (Zechariah, 14:2) This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought... Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. (Zechariah, 14:12) ... All joy turns to gloom, all gaiety is banished from the earth. (Isaiah, 24:11) ... The foundations of the earth shake... The earth is thoroughly shaken... It sways like a hut in the wind... (Isaiah, 24:18-20) The Lord of Armies will punish you with thunder, earthquakes, and loud noises, with windstorms, rainstorms, and fire storms. (Isaiah, 29:6) In the seven-year cycle at the end of which the son of David [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will come–in the first year, this verse will be fulfilled: And I will cause it to rain upon one city and cause it not to rain upon another city. (Talmud, Sanhedrin 97a) An oracle concerning Babylon that Isaiah... They come from faraway lands, from the ends of the heavens... to destroy the whole country... Their wives [will be] ravished... Their houses will be looted... Their bows will strike down the young men; they will have no mercy on infants nor will they look with compassion on children. (Isaiah, 13:1, 5-16-18)
  8. Like the cup fills with water, SO WILL EARTH FILL WITH PEACE. THERE WILL BE NO ENMITY LEFT BETWEEN ANY PEOPLE. ALL HOSTILITY, FIGHTING, AND ENVY WILL DISAPPEAR. ...(Sahih Muslim, 1/136) ... In the same way that Almighty Allah began Islam with us, so He will bring it to an end with him [Hazrat Mahdi (as)]. In the same way that they were freed from polytheism and enmity andTHEIR HEARTS WERE FILLED WITH FRIENDSHIP AND LOVE THROUGH ME, SO IT WILL BE AGAIN WITH THE COMING OF HAZRAT MAHDI (as). (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman, p. 20) ... In his [Hazrat Mahdi’s (as)] time, THE GOODNESS OF GOOD MEN WILL GROW, AND EVEN THE BAD WILL BE TREATED WELL.(Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman, p. 17) The world filled with oppression and tyranny WILL OVERFLOW WITH JUSTICE AFTER HE [HAZRAT MAHDI (as)] COMES. (Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar, p. 20) [in Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) time] ALL ENMITIES, GRUDGE DISAPPEAR, the poison of each poisonous animal is drawn. Furthermore, a child puts his hand in the mouth of a snake but that snake does not give harm to it. A wolf becomes like a shepherd dog among a sheep herd. THE EARTH IS FILLED WITH PEACE AND SECURITY as if a bowl is filled with water. A single word (the word of tawhid) remains and people worship only Allah. WARRIORS LEAVE THEIR LOAD (THAT IS THEIR ARMS, WEAPONS ETC.)(Al-Sharani, Mukhtasar Tazkirah al-Qurtubi, pp. 496-497) [in the age of Hazrat Mahdi (as)] THE SHEEP WILL GRAZE WITH THE WOLF AND CHILDREN WILL PLAY WITH SNAKES AND SCORPIONS BUT WILL COME TO NO HARM....(Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi `Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntadhar, p. 43) Hazrat Mahdi (as) is one of my people, andHE WILL FILL THE EARTH WITH TRUTH AND JUSTICE, just as it is now filled with cruelty and torture. (Sunan Abu Dawud, 5/93) This (Amr) [Hazrat Mahdi (as)] WILL FILL THE EARTH WITH JUSTICE, just as people previously filled it with cruelty. (Sunan Ibn Majah, 10/348) Hear the glad tidings of Hazrat Mahdi (as). He is one from Quraysh and from my Ahl al-Bayt. He will appear at a time when people are in disputes and social upheaval. HE [HAZRAT MAHDI (as)] WILL FILL THE EARTH WITH JUSTICE AND COMPASSION, WHEN BEFORE HIM IT WAS FILLED WITH CRUELTY AND OPPRESSION. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman, p. 13)
  9. Alaikom Salam, Thank you very much, you will find so many interesting hadits in my posts and resource which I mentioned below. Regards
  10. The blocking and stopping of the waters of the Euphrates is another portent of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as) One of the portents of THE COMING OF Hazrat Mahdi (as) Is the stoppIng of the Euphrates. (Al-Muttaqi Al-Hindi, Al-Burhan Fi Alamat Al-Mahdi, P. 39) ‘The stopping of the waters of the Euphrates and the appearance of treasure the value of gold,’ appears in many books of hadiths, such as Muslim, Bukhari and Abu Dawud. Turkey’s greatest river: The Euphrates... This river witnessed a major event in 1975. The 210-m high Keban Dam built over the river stopped its waters: in other words, the river was “halted.” The portent indicated in the hadith of our Prophet (saas) duly took place. Another of our Prophet’s (saas) hadiths on the subject reads: Allah's Messenger (saas) said: "The Hour will not come to pass before the Euphrates dries up to unveil the mountain of gold, for which people will fight. Ninety-nine out of one hundred will die [in the fighting], and every man among them will say: 'Perhaps I may be the only one to remain alive.' " (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, 3: 332) Let us now examine some of the expressions in the hadith: “ before the Euphrates dries up...” In the view of such great hadith scholars as Imam Suyuti, our Prophet (saas) is here referring to the ‘halting of the flow of the River Euphrates.’ The Keban Dam, constructed in 1975, really did stop the waters of the Euphrates, and this sign of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as) of the End Times duly took place. " to unveil the mountain of gold..." Thanks to this dam, resembling a 210-m high “mountain,” the fertility of the land has been enhanced by the production of electricity and the water collected being used for irrigation, meaning that these lands have indeed become as valuable as “gold.” As can be seen from diagrams of the region, this dam literally resembles a concrete mountain. And a treasure the value of gold pours from it, in line with the words of the hadith “a mountain of gold.” “ for which people will fight...” Because of the terror which persisted for so long in the region and is still going on, these lands suffered terribly from anarchy. And more than 30,000 people lost their lives, just as our Prophet (saas) foretold in the hadiths. There is no doubt that the events foretold in the hadiths of our Prophet (saas) coming about one after the other, just as described, shows that the time of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as) is here. Therefore, the stopping of the waters of the Euphrates in 1975 is a most significant portent of the End Times, telling us that Hazrat Mahdi (as), reported as expected to begin work in Hijri 1400, or 1979-80 AD, is at work now and that the days of his appearance are close at hand. www.awaitedmahdi.com

  12. The world being in a major economic crisis is a sign of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as) By setting out the portents of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as) in the hadiths, our Prophet (saas) makes it possible for Muslims to realize that Hazrat Mahdi (as) has appeared when they see these events taking place one after the other. As foretold in the hadiths, one of these portents of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as) is a great economic crisis that will affect the whole world. Rasulullah (saas) tells us that trade will stagnate in the End Times, everyone will complain of reduced earnings, the cost of living will rise and, in short, there will be severe economic problems. This hadith describes the period in the run-up to the appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (as) as follows: Before Hazrat Mahdi (as) appears, TRADE AND ROADS between nations WILL BE CUT and strife among people will grow. (Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi `Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntazar, p. 39) The next part of the hadith says that these problems will come to an end in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as): "… We came to seek that person [Hazrat Mahdi (as)] BY WHOSE HAND STRIFE WILL BE EXTINGUISHED.” (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman, p. 52) [before Hazrat Mahdi (as) appears] "THE MARKETS BEING STILLED, A DECREASE IN EARNINGS..." (Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Rasul Barzanji, Al-Isha'ah li-ashrat al-sa'ah, p. 148) Everyone COMPLAINING OF LOW EARNINGS... the rich respected for their money... (Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Rasul Barzanji, Al-Isha'ah li-ashrat al-sa'ah, p. 146) BUSINESS BEING STAGNANT. Everyone will complain ‘I cannot sell, buy or earn anything.’ (Al-Barzanji, Al-Isha'ah li-ashrat al-sa'ah, p. 152) The crisis that erupted in October 2007 in the USA was not restricted to that country alone. It turned into a global crisis that stunned all the economic markets of countries such as Great Britain, Germany, China, Hungary, Poland, Argentina, Holland, France and Russia. The United Nations described this crisis as "THE CRISIS OF THE CENTURY." The crisis led to the collapse of tens of major companies, millions being made unemployed, thousands of people losing their homes, production coming to an almost entire standstill in many countries and even to whole nations becoming bankrupt. Poverty was no longer a problem of concern to specific countries in the world and began threatening societies in developed countries. VARIOUS HEADLINES REFLECTING THE GLOBAL IMPACT OF THE CRISIS The world’s largest brokerage company, Merrill Lynch, lost some $46 billion because of the global crisis. According to a report by the U.S. Department of Employment, 73,000 people lost their jobs in August alone, while 159,000 jobs were lost in September. A total of 760,000 people have lost their jobs over the last nine months. 700 banks have gone bust in the USA, and there is a possibility of a further 700 doing so. In Japan, the world’s second largest economy, Yamato Life Insurance, an insurance company dating back 98 years and with total debts of $2.7 billion, went bankrupt in October 2008. Iceland, in second place on the United Nations’ “Countries with the Highest Levels of Well-Being,” went bankrupt. Because of decreased worldwide demand, leading global automotive companies halted production in their companies and laid off thousands of workers. More than 100,000 people have been laid off in the financial sector since September. XL, the third largest tourism company in Britain, went bankrupt in September 2008. In addition, the airline British Airways cited the crisis as a reason for laying off 1400 staff. Greece’s credit ratings were lowered and the country came to the brink of bankruptcy. There is uncertainty over whether the country can repay its debts. Portugal has also entered a debt spiral because of rising interest rates and is heading toward bankruptcy. Spain is also said to be facing the danger of bankruptcy. Dubai, known for its great wealth, is also among those going bankrupt. THERE ARE REFERENCES TO THE ECONOMIC CRISIS IN THE QUR’AN Allah tells us in the Qur’an that when He sends a Messenger or Prophet to warn or remind communities, He first warns those societies with troubles, poverty and difficulty, in other words, through economic crises. We have never sent a Prophet to any city without seizing its people with HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS so that, hopefully, they might learn humility. (Surat al-A'raf, 94)Allah has made His Messenger instrumental in the happiness of societies. Every messenger or prophet is the Mahdi of his time. Hazrat Mahdi (as) will be instrumental in people attaining happiness in these, the End Times. In the same way that Allah warned and tested earlier peoples with economic crises, so He has produced a major economic crisis in the End Times, in the run-up to the appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (as). By Allah's leave, this crisis will come to an end when the moral values of Islam fully rule the world and poverty and want will be replaced by a hitherto unknown wealth and plenty. www.awaitedmahdi.com

  15. The superior characteristics of the followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) and their similarities to the Ashab al-Suffa -1- The Ashab al-Suffa They devoted all their time to earning Allah’s approval alone. The constantly studied the Qur’an and listened to the teachings of our Prophet (saas). Our Prophet (saas) took a close interest in their training. They took no interest in commerce or worldly things. They did not marry, and had no family or tribal loyalties. They were few in number. They traveled to teach the Qur’an and the Sunnah to Muslim tribes. They were known as the Army of the Learned. They devoted their entire lives to Allah’s path. The Ashab al-Suffa of the End Times are the followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as). “Ashab al-Suffa” is the name given to a group of Companions made up of young people who stayed in an area subsequently added on to the northern part of the Mosque of our Prophet (saas) and known as the Suffa. The followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) bear a close resemblance to these blessed people in terms of many of their characteristics. The moral values of the followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) resemble those of the Ashab al-Suffa, such as their faith and loyalty and obedience to Almighty Allah and Hazrat Mahdi (as) are all praised in the hadiths. Hazrat Mahdi (as) also has an Ashab al-Suffa. A small group of young people constantly acting together with Hazrat Mahdi (as). They also leave their families and strive together for Allah, just as it was in the time of the Prophet (saas), insha’Allah. (10 October 2010, Kanal Avrupa and Çay TV) According to the hadiths, the followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) are devout by night and lions by day. By night they teach, while by day they wage an intellectual struggle like lions. They intellectually uproot such bastions of disbelief as Darwinism and materialism. They are courageous, determined and submissive on Allah’s path. Patience is one of their characteristics; they are never hasty. They wage a patient intellectual struggle with all their might so that Qur’anic values will dominate the world. Submission to Allah is their greatest source of strength in their faith. They are fully submitted to Almighty Allah. In times of danger, they are never uneasy, but say, “It is all for the best.”Let us now look at the features of these blessed people of the End Times, the followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as), in the light of the hadiths. Like the Ashab al-Suffa, the Followers of Hazrat Mahdi (as) Will Consist of Young People The hadiths reveal that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will have youthful helpers. “THE FOLLOWERS of the Qaim [Hazrat Mahdi (as)] ARE YOUNG, and there are no elderly people among them. (Seikh Muhammad Ibn Ibrahim Numani, Ghaybah al Numani, p. 374) Many prophets had young helpers. Allah reveals this in verse 83 of Surah Yunus: No one believed in Moses except for a few of his people out of fear that Pharaoh, and the elders, would persecute them. Pharaoh was high and mighty in the land. He was one of the profligate. (Surah Yunus, 83) Other hadiths reveal that Hazrat Mahdi will have youthful followers: Most of these followers [of Hazrat Mahdi ] ARE YOUNG while the old are very few. (Bihar al-Anwar, vol: 52, p. 334) Another hadith indicating there will be young people around Hazrat Mahdi reads: Hazrat Mahdi’s standard-bearer will be a small YOUNG MAN with a slight, yellow beard. (Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi `Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntadhar, p. 51) The followers of Hazrat Mahdi are made up of young people. The followers of the Prophet Moses were made up of young people. Young people are less worn down mentally. A rigidity sets in with age. It is harder for an older person to turn to living by the True Religion. But young people are less entrenched in sin. They are more innocent. They are more idealistic. That is how Allah creates their natures. So Allah produces a blessing within them, insha’Allah... The Community of Hazrat Mahdi Will Be Few in Number As revealed in the hadiths, very few people, just 313, will believe in Hazrat Mahdi . These will be highly sincere people in whose hearts Allah has deliberately established faith. Abu Bashir says: Imam Abu Abdullah said: "There WILL BE VERY FEW PEOPLE from among the Arabs alongside the Qaim [Hazrat Mahdi ]."... (Sheikh Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Numani, al-Ghaybah al-Numani, p. 239) Their numbers will be those of the people of Badr (313). In the same way that those before them cannot pass beyond them, neither those who come after can reach them. Their number is as many as those who crossed the river with Saul. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-Zaman, p. 57) They consist of a group, including women, of 313 people. They will overcome all tyrants. Their hearts are like iron, and they are lions by day and devout believers by night. Neither those before nor after them can match them in self-sacrifice. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-Zaman, pp. 57-58) The way of the Mahdi is the only entity to oppose them. The Messenger of Allah says, “They are 313 people.” In other words, the students of Hazrat Mahdi are like a single body with 600 eyes, 600 ears and 300 brains. Nobody can overcome that, because there is no such entity in the world. One cannot overcome that. Look, “If there are twenty of you who are steadfast, they will overcome two hundred.” The students of Hazrat Mahdi are overcoming the whole world, the atheist, Darwinist and materialist system in the world, as a very small community, insha’Allah. The followers of Jesus the Messiah number just 1,400. So do the followers of the Prophet Jesus . They are destroying the system. Look, by Allah’s leave 1,400 people will bring the world to its knees. “And if there are a hundred of you, they will overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve.” Almighty Allah stresses the importance of quality. In other words, numbers are irrelevant, but quality matters. Bediüzzaman also notes that the followers of Hazrat Mahdi will be few in number, but that they will have an enormous spiritual force: The force and spiritual army this duty depends on is some followers in full possession of titles of loyalty and solidarity. No matter how few they may be, they are spiritually as powerful and valuable as an army. (Emirdag Addendum, p. 259) Hazrat Mahdi Will Have a Working Group of 30 People Among his 313 followers, Hazrat Mahdi will have a group of 30 people who support him in his activities. With the STRONG THIRTY ALLIES OF THE IMAM [Hazrat Mahdi ], he is not alone. (Bihar al-Anwar, 52:153) For example, Bediüzzaman says; “In demolishing the way of the dajjal, Darwinism and materialism, a very small team from among his own followers-notice that a distinct team-will help him in this matter.” In other words, in the preparation of works that demolish Darwinism and materialism, he will make use of works written by scientists and produce books against Darwinism and materialism. But in doing this, Hazrat Mahdi’s time is limited, he says. “His time and circumstances are not appropriate for this,” he says. “Hazrat Mahdi will do this work together with his followers,” he says. “But he will charge some of his followers with this task,” he says. Part of them. “And that part of his followers will prepare those books, and he will thus have discharged his first duty,” he says. Hazrat Mahdi’s Followers Will Have a Powerful Faith The followers of Hazrat Mahdi will have a deep and unquestioning faith in Allah. This will make them stand out in the society they live in. The followers of Imam az-Zamaan [Hazrat Mahdi ] will not have an iota of doubt concerning Allah, the Almighty and they will recognize Him as he ought to be recognized... (Al -Bayaan Fi Akhbaar - e -Mahdi Aakher al -Zamaan (a .s.), chapter 5; Mikyaal al-Makaarem, vol. 1, p. 65) They (the followers of Hazrat Mahdi ) WILL TREMBLE WITH DIVINE FEAR. (Mikyaal al-Makaarem, Vol. 1, p. 65) It is also revealed in the hadiths that the followers of Hazrat Mahdi will spend their nights in worship: They (the followers of Hazrat Mahdi ) WILL BE DEVOUT BELIEVERS BY NIGHT AND MOVE AROUND LIKE LIONS BY DAY.(Mikyaal al-Makaarem, Vol. 1, p. 65) Unlike those who spend their nights in comfort, they (the followers of Hazrat Mahdi ) WILL SPEND THEM WORSHIPING THEIR LORD. (Mikyaal al-Makaarem, Vol. 1, p. 65) The Followers of Hazrat Mahdi Will Be Very Strong Spiritually The hadiths indicate that the followers of Hazrat Mahdi will be highly developed spiritually, people who turn to Allah with a deep faith and a sincere heart. Their [followers of Hazrat Mahdi ] souls are BRIGHT LIKE LAMPS AND THEIR HEARTS ARE LIGHTED AS WELL. (Mikyaal al-Makaarem, vol. 1, p. 65) The nature of his [Hazrat Mahdi’s ] followers will be PURE AND IMMACULATE. THEY WILL BE FREE FROM HYPOCRICY AND ALL OTHER CONTAMINATIONS. (Bihar al-Anwar, vol 52, p. 35) Hazrat Mahdi will be instrumental in these people having a powerful love and fear of Allah. They (the followers of Hazrat Mahdi ) WILL BE COMPLETELY SUBMITTED TO OMNIPOTENT Allah. (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 52, p. 35 & 311 Handed down by Akhbaar al-Reza ) Their [Hazrat Mahdi’s followers’] HEARTS WILL BE UNTAINTED AND UNADULTERATED FROM MALICE, JEALOUSY AND ENMITY. (Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 52, p. 35) www.awaitedmahdi.com
