  1. The hadeeth is weak per shia rijaal standards brother.... Muhammad bin `eesa from yoonus bin Abdul Rahmaan is weak because of the problem with the itisaal. Salaam
  2. Inshaa' Allaah I will post the same thing (with some changes) as I did on the HCY forums: Assalaamu `Alaykum, Bismillaah. Rabbish raHlee Sadree wa yassirlee amree. Nader, who is my brother, made the blog to dive into Shee`ah books and for no other reasons. This was because Shee`ahs had more care for Sunnee books than even our own Shee`ah books of aHaadeeth and rijaal. A good test is to ask a Shee`ah to name our four major books of aHaadeeth and see if they can answer you. I can swear by Allaah and the beautiful Qur'aan we have been blessed to read, that this was his purpose. Whatever you take from our blog, inshaa' Allaah I hope that it helps you get to where you want to go. Ahl al-Bayt (as) doesn't guide only Shee`ahs, but they guide humanity. No one can claim SaHaabas or Ahl al-Bayt for themselves. NO ONE! We know what we put on our blogs are the pure words of the Ahl al-Bayt, if through an authentic chain. That is called belief (imaan). To follow the Prophet (SAWAS) and the Imaam (as) without questioning even if they tell you to kill someone who you don't even know (i.e. learn from the story of KhiDr and Moosa (as)... we don't know reasons for these things... this is the will of Allaah (SWT)). Hesitation is kufr. Submitting to them is submitting to Allaah (SWT). Inshaa' Allaah, I pray that our blog finds more people out there that are Sunnis and Shee`ahs. Guidance is from Allaah (SWT). We don't guide people to Sunnis or Shee`ahs. Assalaamu `Alaykum
  3. (bismillah) (salam) This is tafweeD bil amr, brother/sister. That in no way has to do with rizq, or the Prophet Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÂáå æÓáã, knowing everything that is going on in the universe, including every particle in every side of the universe. If you believe this is true, then I suggest you to truly reevaluate your belief in Allaah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì. This also has to do with forbidding wrong and doing right. AMR bil ma`roof and nahy an al-munkar. That is also tafweeD bil amr. (salam)

These products will give you proper nutrients that aren't stripped out of your foods like normal foods you get at stores. Where do you get this? Go to your local Whole Foods store if you have any. Also, HEB has many of the organic products. DON'T go to Walmart for your foods, unless the same organic products are there. - Stop eating any and all fast food. If you want to eat, then I would suggest probably Chipotle or some restaurant that carries at least organic ingredients. - Start drinking lots of water. Also, if you want to get even healthier, then take away the fluoride and other harmful elements from your water by using a fluoride filter. How do you do this? Go to PROPUR's website and buy a ~$180 legitimate water filter that takes away 99.9% of bad things from your water. - Milk products that are organic will help you consume milk. Some people who have milk allergy situations, then they will slowly realize that with organic products you might not have that same issue. - Stop drinking any kind of beverages like carbonated drinks (don't drink at any time). Stop the urges you get for binging at times i.e. eating chips or dessert. You can dibble and dabble once a week but that is all. - Start running at least 4 times a week or walking every day. - Get a bit more night sleep than you are used to getting. - Fasting is also a good solution at times. I'm not saying make it into a weight loss program, but try one or two days a week (i.e. Thursdays which is sunnah). - Finally, make du`aa that you lose the weight. If these don't help you out, then I don't know what will. Inshaa' Allaah. (salam)

When it comes to following certain sunan (i.e. doing miswaak, pulling up pants above ankles, telling people to straighten rows when I lead Sunnees in salaah, telling the followers of the leader to do shoulder to shoulder in salaah, etc...) and refraining from bid`ah (there's a laundry list here), I feel more comfortable following it in front of them and teaching them how we Shee`ahs are supposed to practice. When they see Shee`ah Islaam today, it truly is a deviated version of Shee`ah Islaam, so I explain them how you will find few truly guided Shee`ahs with legitimate `aqeedah and not practicing bid`ah. Once you teach them true Shee`ah Islaam (following the sunnah and refraining from bid`ah), then they will have so much more respect for you and they will see you as their equal. There are examples of this even on the internet (i.e. Farid a.k.a. Lord Botta gives high respect to my brother Nader Zaveri and vice versa). (salam)

  8. Muhammad bin Sinaan And each one would be case by case basis. I would have to see your examples. Show me your examples of thiqaat narrators narrating from thiqaat narrators only once ever. (one matn) I am a nobody and Allaah (SWT) is my witness that I mean that. I am simply pointing out the obvious points that if he ('Abd Allaah bin Sinaan) narrated from ibn Miskaan, where is it? Ibn Miskaan isn't a joe schmo. He is one of the aSHaab al-ijma`. If you were with a aSHaab al ijma` level person would you want only one hadeeth? Yes this was made by al-Kashshee the grouping, but their status among the community was known. Thank you brother. Whatever I have said that is correct is from Allaah (SWT) and whatever I have said that is incorrect is from myself and sharr al Shaytaan. As for sending la`n individually like "Oh Allaah, curse first, second, and third." No I don't do that. As far as saying "La`natullaah `alaa al-qawm al-zaalimeen" I do that. I also do "Rabbanaa aatihim Di`fayni minal `adhaab wal `anhum la`nan kabeera" in my qunoot in salaah. But I'm not going to be like those people who are doing it are doing bid`ah. I mean it is between them and Allaah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì. I preferably want to make sure I follow all SaHeeH hadeeth and go by that philosophy to be consistent with my `aqeedah and `ibaadah. That's why I never hate on Yaasir al-Habeeb. I think he is good. At least he isn't afraid to debate Sunnnes. Big up to him. And I, for one, am more leaning to doing la`n on them than not, but SaHeeH hadeeth is SaHeeH hadeeth. It pains me sometimes not to do it after seeing their garbage. But at the end of the day, I would be a hypocrite if I did la`n and it wasn't SaHeeH. Wallaahu 'Alam Fadlallaah answers this hadeeth: ÇáÑæÇíÉ ÛíÑ ãæËæÞÉ ÚäÏ ÓãÇÍÉ ÇáãÑÌÚ ÇáÓíÏ ÝÖá Çááå(ÑÖ) ÇáÓäÏ ãÚÊÈÑ ÈäÇÁ Úáì Ãä ÇáÑÇæí ÚÈÏ Çááå Èä ÓäÇä¡ áßä ÈäÇÁ Úáì ÇáãÕÇÏÑ ÇáÊí ÊÐßÑ (ÇÈä ÓäÇä) Ýåæ ãÑÏÏ Èíä ãÍãÏ æÚÈÏ Çááå¡ æÚäÏ ÓãÇÍÉ ÇáÓíÏ ãÍãÏ Èä ÓäÇä áíÓ ãæËÞÇð ßãÇ ÚäÏ ÇáÓíÏ ÇáÎæÆí ÅÖÇÝÉ Åáì ÅÖØÑÇÈ ÇáÑæÇíÇÊ ÇáæÇÑÏÉ Ýí ãÓÃáÉ ÊÚÑÖ ÇáÒåÑÇÁ(Ú) ááÖÑÈ æÅÓÞÇØ ÇáÌäíä
  9. (bismillah) (salam) There are no hidden feelings here but straight logic. Don't say that there is a possibility of this one hadeeth with this specific shaadh chain out of all the aHaadeeth in the world that one can narrate, they narrate on this specific incident? With a Ghaalee in there? I'm sorry but logic doesn't dictate that one shaadh chain magically appeared out of nowhere to speak about the most riveting story in Shee`ah and/or Sunnee Islaam. This is easily capable of being fabricated. This is in matters of `aqeedah. Let's not just jump the gun because it's something we have heard our whole lives or because it's in Sunnee books, also. Disclaimer: I hate to do these things, but I must for the readers out there to not get a bad impression of me. I don't like the Khulafaa' (the first three caliphs). Now, I won't curse them openly or privately because I haven't seen authentic aHaadeeth to curse them. This doesn't mean I like them and what I will say is I will, with all my heart, do tabarra (disassociate) from these individuals. They have done some good in their lives and one shouldn't take that away from them, but nifaaq entered into their hearts and they turned away from Islaam and died on the path of kufr. This topic has been discussed ad nauseam throughout SC history. Readers please see other topics in regards to this. Wallaahu 'Alam (salam)
  10. (bismillah) (salam) The two hadeeth above are weak and I can get into a dars on this but I won't for the readers. (I will one day make an article or something weakening the chain of `Amrikee from `Alee bin Ja`far inshaa' Allaah with the tawfeeq of Allaah (SWT)) First and foremost, the naskh issue is a problem. Let's just assume for now it isn't bin baHr because of the tabaqah of ibn abee najraan is the same. So good job for the person who fabricated this chain. Secondly, `Abd Allaah bin Sinaan NEVER narrates from `Abd Allaah bin Miskaan! Muhammad bin Sinaan narrates from `Abd Allaah bin Miskaan. Check all chains of all books. I haven't seen it. This is a completely a fabricated chain. But please see examples below: Úóäúåõ Úóäú íóÚúÞõæÈó Èúäö íóÒöíÏó Úóäú ãõÍóãóøÏö Èúäö ÓöäóÇäò Úóäú ÚóÈúÏö Çááóøåö Èúäö ãõÓúßóÇäó Úóäú ÃóÈöí ÈóÕöíÑò Úóäú ÃóÈöí ÚóÈúÏö Çááóøåö Ú ÞóÇáó : ãõÍóãóøÏõ Èúäõ íóÍúíóì Úóäú ÃóÍúãóÏó Èúäö ãõÍóãóøÏò Úóäú ãõÍóãóøÏö Èúäö ÓöäóÇäò Úóäú ÚóÈúÏö Çááóøåö Èúäö ãõÓúßóÇäó Úóäú ÃóÈöí ÈóÕöíÑò Úóäú ÃóÈöí ÚóÈúÏö Çááóøåö ÚI If I wanted to take out more chains I could probably take out 50 or so more of the same chains. It is impossible for the two narrators to have narrated from each other. There aren't any other ahaadeeth. (salam) Wallaahu 'Alam
  11. Most important thing in Islaam, in my opinion, is to know the Halaal and Haraam of actions. Out of those two, know the latter even more than the former. If you can keep away from the Haraam, then I am sure you would be doing many good things such as Salaah on time, etc. A great book to read and I always recommend this as a first read is: Greater Sins by Dastghaib Shirazi (http://www.al-islam.org/greater_sins_complete/) He passed away and may Allaah (SWT) grant him jannah. Aameen. This work is a priceless work and easy to read. Fast read. Please make this one of your first reads. If you have others as well, then that is cool. This will change your life as it did mine years ago. Nothing is more beneficial than, in my opinion, knowing exactly what is haraam in this religion and to hold fast to the words of the Ahlul al-Bayt (as). Anything that I have said on here or my previous post that was wrong was from me, and all that I have said that was good was from Allaah ÓÈÍÇäå æÊÚÇáì. Wallaahu 'Alam (And Allaah (SWT) knows best) Assalaamu 'Alaykum
  12. (bismillah) (salam) Crimson, Alhamdulillaah you have embarked upon a vast journey. One in which will never be exhausted. That is the best part. Learn a little bit everyday and keep to that. There is a hadeeth from the A'immah (as) that says to do a little bit at a time is better than to do alot at one time and never to do it again. Keep that in mind inshaa' Allaah. After 2-3 years you will see how far you have come. Do a little reading everyday. Sit down and browse around even many of the old ShiaChat posts that we have had discussions on here. There are alot of informative materials from many brothers and sisters in those threads. But once we get knowledge, inshaa' Allaah I say this to myself also, make sure not to forget the most important thing of all. Don't lose yourself. What I mean by this is that don't get an ego that you know more than another person who doesn't. Always remember where we came from, we were once in that position of not knowing as well. Keep that same compassion inshaa' Allaah in your mind. Let me give you a personal story: I was once a person who had very basic knowledge of Shee`ah Islaam and followed the waajibaat and knew, for the most part, the haraam actions. After a while, then I started to realize I need more. (This was around the age of 20 or so) A powerful speaker came and changed my life and my brothers lives and from then on, we have been learning Islaam in depth every since. (I am now around 25) As it says in the Qur'aan, that did not a messenger from amongst yourselves come to you. He was essentially our messenger in the sense of giving da`wah and telling us that the state of Shee`ah youth is trash. We had to do the other half and that was to start learning and take heed to the advice. The first part was easy by trying to give da`wah, but trying to change is not easy. It takes willpower and a hard shell. You will be looked down upon by your family, if you get more religious and you change, but you must not change your ways to your family. Don't build an ego and consider them out of the fold of Islaam or deviated because they don't follow the same manhaj (methodology) as you do. This will be easy to understand, but trust me it is difficult to actually put into practice once you start to get more serious about learning Islaam. Your friends will change (which will happen because you will always associate with those who have similar social interests). You will notice your environments will change. Then you will notice your attitude will change. Slowly these things will happen.... this isn't a bad thing, but it can be. Arrogance starts to slowly creep into the hearts of the believers. This is where it'll be up to you to grab it, slap it around and throw it out of your head. Inshaa' Allaah I ask Allaah (SWT) to help you in your endeavors as a taalib al `ilm (seeker of knowledge) and to grant you jannah and to keep you away from the fire. Aameen. (salam)
  13. (bismillah) (salam) Don't listen/read/make poetry in Shahru RamaDaan. (SaHeeH Hadeeth) Ingratiate yourself with the Qur'aan in this month. (salam)
  14. This was also given to Bilaal (ra). وقال الشيخ الصدوق : وَ رُوِيَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَمَلْتُ مَتَاعِي مِنَ الْبَصْرَةِ إِلَى مِصْرَ فَقَدِمْتُهَا فَبَيْنَمَا أَنَا فِي بَعْضِ الطَّرِيقِ إِذَا أَنَا بِشَيْخٍ طَوِيلٍ شَدِيدِ الْأُدْمَةِ أَبْيَضِ الرَّأْسِ وَ اللِّحْيَةِ عَلَيْهِ طِمْرَانِ أَحَدُهُمَا أَسْوَدُ وَ الْآخَرُ أَبْيَضُ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا فَقَالُوا هَذَا بِلَالٌ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وآله فَأَخَذْتُ أَلْوَاحاً فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الشَّيْخُ فَقَالَ : وَ عَلَيْكَ السَّلَام‏ Source: Man Laa YaHDuruh al-Faqeeh Vol. 1, Pg. 292, H. 905 The reason why we haven't posted up any ahaadeeth regarding the matter is because either they are in ibn shahr aashoob's book (in which it says shadeed al-adma) or in biHaar which sometimes takes from Sunnees. There are narrations as well which say Imaam 'Alee (as) was aHmar (red), aswar (brown), or shadeed al-adma (black). Hence, this would all be dabbling in conjecture, unless something more concrete like a SaHeeH hadeeth was there.
