  2. Who's a problem in the chains?
  3. Narration from myself. I entered upon Cake one day to ask him about modship when he started speaking before I asked, saying: "I was there when the forum was down for 2 weeks. I was there when we all thought Ja'far Shibli was Nader Zaveri under a new account. I was there when the tatbeer threads started getting out of control. I was there when there was no hadith sciences sub-forum. I was there when Shiachatters were debating if it is acceptable to curse Abu Bakr and Omar. I was there when there was no chatroom. I was there when Ali still had a presence on the site. I was there when Muhammed Ali was cracking down on dissidents." Then he turned to me and said: "O' Abu'l Khattab, whoever rejects me is not from me."
  4. No that would put me under the ban hammer surely.
  5. Ja'far Shibli (Majhool) narrated to me from Qa'im (Thiqa) from Abu Tufayl (Thiqa) from a man who said to a group of people: "Do you see this sun?" They said yes. He continued: "Do you doubt in its rise every morning?" They said no. He said: "Shall I inform you of something which is more certain?" They said: "Please, may we be sacrified for you." He said: "The right of Cake for modship is more certain than the rising of the sun every morning." In another narration with a same tradition, from Darth Vader (Thiqa) who said: "I was sitting with Cake when a man entered upon him and started insulting him. I stood up to refute him but Cake held me back and said: "Leave the man be." So the man continued insulting until he became furious with the lack of response from us and left. Cake said to me: "Do you know who that man was?" I said: "No, may I be sacrified for you, who is it?" Cake looked at me from under his glasses and said: "That was Iblees. Verily, Iblees runs from me faster than the flapping of a hummingbird's wing." So what will you deny now from not making Cake a mod?
  6. Very weak argument. There's nothing wrong with saying to look at the ahadith first, unless you have some kind of problem with the Ma'soom opening their mouths. Also, please don't use this typical "but guys, what about the Qur'an?!" argument, because it's full of holes. Imamah started in the Qur'an? Who gave you the Qur'an though? Oh yeah, an Imam. Who knows the Qur'an the best? Oh yeah, the Imam too. Who established the laws of Amr bil-Ma'roof? Hey, look who it is, the Imam. Trying to belittle the narrations as a secondary proof isn't going to get you far, unless you believe you can do just fine without the Ma'soom.
  7. This is the problem with some of you on this forum, you can't decide what to believe in. There's a burning desire in some of you (namely CM and baradar jackson) to form this image of al-Hussain as revolutionary fighter and predecessor for Wilayat al-Faqeeh and whatever quasi-Zaydi revolutions you advocate for. The only problem is, Imam al-Hussain was martyred, and didn't get hold of the empire, and that doesn't sit well with the "revolutionary fighter" fable image that you try to make. What do they then do to solve this problem? They make Ashura into a general theme for revolutions, hence the fabricated and insulting slogan of "Every day is Ashura and every land is Karbala." Hussain fought for the akhira, your revolutionary ideologies only care about worldly benefits. Hence why you don't get why al-Hussain was sacrificed.
  8. From Imam al-Sadiq (as) who said about the verse: "Whether you show what is within yourselves or conceal it, Allah will bring you to account for it. Then He will forgive whom He wills and punish whom He wills" (2:284) He (as) said: "It is Allah's right not to enter paradise the one who has the weight of a mustard seed of love for Abu Bakr and Omar."
  9. Owls, as said in our narrations, spend the day in holy solitude (that's why you don't see them in the day) and spend the night mourning for Imam al-Hussain.
  10. They should just pin one of these posts so people can debate until it's 300 pages until having 20 different threads at once
  11. This proves my point. If you read more than just posting slogans against tatbeerists, you would've known that Amr bil-Ma'roof is Wajib Kifa'i, not Wajib Ayni. But the point isn't about Amr bil-Ma'roof, it's to propagate a specific political stance. Take what I said or leave it, you're the one who loses in the end.
  12. The same topic, by the same people, with the same posts. The best part is, as I've been on this site, people have been talking about repulsive innovations and reviving islamic traditions, but they have done little to prove it. The same people have been stuck in the same phases for the longest time, and there's no sign they want to let up. I'll make two notable exceptions of people on this thread. Ibn al-Ja'abi and Ali_Hussain (yes, I'm giving him a compliment, take a picture). The two brothers have made a notable improvement in their arabic skills and have contributed to the site on an ever-increasing scale. The rest of you (take it generally) have been posting the same things since you've come on the site. We get it already, you don't like tatbeer. Many other people don't either. But guess what's worse? Not learning the narrations of Ahlul Bayt, and worse yet, rejecting them without even knowing because you haven't given time to read the narrations thoroughly. So stop wasting your time on tatbeer threads. People who do tatbeer aren't going to stop, neither are their opponents. Running around in circles will only hurt you in the long run, and not anyone else. Your time on this earth is set, use it well.
  13. This verse is the perfect response to your question, and was also used by the Imams to prove that reciting Du'as is better than reciting the Qur'an. Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent. (25:77) قل ما يعبأ بكم ربي لولا دعاؤكم فقد كذبتم فسوف يكون لزاما
  14. What if those personalities killed the Ahlul Bayt? Do you still respect them?
  15. Or you could just become a Nusayri and let the Wilayah of Ahlul Bayt sink in. In all serious though, a very good idea. Some people prefer to worship in groups and this would help.
  16. Oh please, you really can't compare someone who believes in the full Wilayah of Ahlul Bayt upon the creation as a whole versus someone who says they love Ahlul bayt but when asked to follow them he says "the sahaba were closer to the Prophet". Stop trying to fool yourself into thinking that somehow people who follow the Wilayah of Ahlul Bayt are at the same level as those who reject and mock the Wilayah.
  17. Crocodile tears don't help you here, following Ahlul Bayt (as) will.
  18. It is recommended to fast but if it makes you too weak to do du'a (which is more important), then it's better not to fast. This is what the narrations on this conclude.
  19. I never knew Ayatollah Araki was against oneself, maybe you should check his IP address. Fact of the matter remains, he can hide behind Araki's name if he wants, he's still giving the avenue to insulting a Marja' who hundreds of thousands of Shi'as follow. Sounds kind of like what's not allowed in the forum rules don't you think?
  20. Muhammed Ali said he'd give the same treatment to those who insult Syed al-Shirazi as I (apparently) did with Kamal al-Haidari. Where is he now?
  21. Talk about a run-on sentence lol. It speaks volumes when Sufi-esque SCers are called out on being self-hating Shias, and the only response they have is "you are the last person to care about deviant behaviour being used against us." What is more deviant than going to the deviants themselves and poisoning the minds of ignorant Shi'as by claiming that their material is beneficial for them and won't confuse them? You're delusional to think I don't care about deviant behaviour being used against us. But I choose to be lenient on the Shi'a like the Imams said, and you choose be harsh against them, kind of like how Allah stated to deal with the disbelievers in the Qur'an ironically. From Omar b. Hanthala, from Imam al-Sadiq (as) who said: "O' Omar, do not burden our Shi'a, and be friendly with them, for the people can not handle what you ( the Shi'a) can handle." This hadith will probably fall upon deaf ears, but the next time you choose to have a double standard in how you deal with Shi'as versus their enemies, remember this narration.
  22. So you're calling your brother in faith and iman an animal, but would you do the same for the Sufi cult leaders you post so much about? No, you wouldn't. Don't then say you don't have a double standard when you obviously do, and it's a double standard on the wrong side anyways.
  23. Oh, how I wish war was that clean and simple. Too bad it isn't, and the Qur'an doesn't say that either. Some scholars used the verse I posted above to say it's permissible to behead ISIS fighters even after they've died. I do agree with you though, I'd prefer he use a combination of one of these punishments rather than slicing the guy up. "Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment," (5:33) Harshness in war is imperative in conquering the psychological aspect of it. " O you who have believed, fight those adjacent to you of the disbelievers and let them find in you harshness. And know that Allah is with the righteous." (9:123) "O Prophet, fight against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them. And their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the destination." (9:73) I am not condoning unneeded mutilation techniques, I do believe even if Abu Azra'eel is wrong, he is still a believer and can repent easily for what he has done. You're left with 3 options here: 1. Agree with what he did and parade it around. 2. Disagree with what he did and hope Allah forgives him. 3. Take Ali_Hussain's approach and call him an animal while not calling non-Shi'a deviants the same out of glorification for their creed.
