Aha, I get you're point. If the question was asked literally why would it be considered philosophical?

Like I said earlier: "for me all knowledge has philosophy as its foundation". I think philosophy is the study of the foundations of knowledge because when I look at the subjects (e.g. epistemology, logic, theology, ethics, the philosophy of science etc) studied by western philosophers, they seem to deal with the foundations of what we know.
If by 'literally' you mean a study of the technological and scientific advances made by philosophers compared to scientists, th...
