  1. Assalamu alaikum Ya Ali (asws) Madad I would also just like to add that it seems that most people are unaware that the khutbas which are in Najul Israr can also be found in numerous other books including Biharul Anwar, Asma wa Alqaab Ameerul Momineen (asws), Khutab Nadra Ameerul Momineen (asws), and Manaqib ibn Shahr Ashoob. However because the majority of these books are only available in Arabic people are unaware of the numerous different books which these sermons of Moula Ali (asws) are in. Whenever Moula Ali (asws) spoke, His words were written down by countless scribes. It is narrated that when one scribe was asked to bring his collection of the sayings of Moula Ali (asws) regarding the tafseer of Sura al Hamd and it took 70 camels to carry all that he had written and this was only one scribe and only the sayings regarding one topic, the tafseer of Sura al Hamd. People somehow have come to believe that if something is not in Najul Balagha then it is unauthentic but if one scribe needed 70 camels to carry what he had recorded then imagine the extent of the sayings and sermons of Moula Ali (asws) just because something is not in Najul Balagha does not make it unauthentic and just because something is beyond our comprehension also does not make it unauthentic.
  2. Assalamu alaikum Ya Ali (asws) Madad The granddaughter of Moula Ali (asws), daughter of Moula Hussain (asws), Syeda Fatima (sa) bintul Hussain (asws) also known as Syeda Sakina (sa) who was only 4 years old delivered such an amazing sermon in Kufa that it caused the people to become astonished at Her eloquence and Her knowledge. This sermon had a major effect upon the people and caused them to feel immense shame and regret. It also caused them to realize how great the sin which they had committed was. You can read this glorious sermon of Syeda Sakina (sa) online or download a pdf copy: For English: http://www.wilayatmission.com/Sakina_eng.html For Urdu: http://www.wilayatmission.com/Sakina_ur.html Also visit our English Khutbas and Urdu Khutbas page to read more sermons of Masoomeen (asws): Sermon of Moula Abbas (as) on Roof of Kaaba Sermon of Imam Zainul Abideen (asws) in Kufa Sermon of Syeda Zainab (sa) in Kufa and Her Sermon in the Court of yazid (la)

  7. Assalamu alaikum Ya Ali (asws) Madad PDF copy of the full Ziarat including english translation, arabic text, and transliteration is available HERE The following is an extract of the ziarat, you may read it in its entirety by clicking the PDF link, this is taken from Mafatih al Jinan Sheikh Toosi has related in “Misbah al Mutahajjid from Safwan al Jammal that he said, “I took permission from Imam Jafar Sadiq (asws) to make ziarat to the shrine of our Master Imam Hussain (asws) and I asked Him to instruct me as how to properly make ziarat. Imam Jafar Sadiq (asws) said, “O’Safwan! Fast for three days before your departure, perform ghusl on the third day, gather your family members and your dependants and say , “O’Allah! I entrust to Thee …(say the name of each person) (Allahuma inni astawdi uka…) Then Imam (asws) taught Safwan a dua to recite when he reaches the Euphrates and added, “ Perform ghusl in that river, verily My Father (asws) narrated from His Forefathers (asws) that RasoolAllah (saw) said, “Surely, this Son of Mine, Hussain (asws), will be killed after Me on the banks of the Euphrates. Therefore, whoever performs ghusl in the Euphrates and then makes ziarat of His Shrine, his sins will be removed and he will become just like one who was just born.” While you are performing ghusl in Euphrates, you should recite the following: ÈöÓúãö Çááøóåö æó ÈöÇááøóåö Çááøóåõãøó ÇÌúÚóáúåõ äõæÑÇð æó ØóåõæÑÇð æó ÍöÑúÒÇð æó ÔöÝóÇÁð ãöäú ßõáøö ÏóÇÁò æó ÓõÞúãò æó ÂÝóÉò æó ÚóÇåóÉò In the name of the Lord and from the essence of the Lord, O’ my Lord declare this ghusl bright, sacred and a treatment for all diseases and troubles Çááøóåõãøó ØóåøöÑú Èöåö ÞóáúÈöí æó ÇÔúÑóÍú Èöåö ÕóÏúÑöí æó Óóåøöáú áöí Èöåö ÃóãúÑöíþ O’ my Lord protect me from evil purify my heart and open my chest and make things easy for me And when you get through with performing ghusl, wear two pieces of pure clothes and say two rak`ats of prayer outside the Mashra`ah which is the place about which Allah, the Exalted says in the Qur'an , “And in the earth there are tracts side by side and gardens of grapes and corn and palm trees having one root and (others) having distinct roots-- they are watered with one water, and We make some of them excel others in fruit; most surely there are signs in this for a people who understand." (Sura ar-Raad ayah 4)So, when you get through with the prayer, go towards the shrine calmly and tranquilly with short steps, for Allah, the Exalted will record for you a major hajj and a minor hajj (`umrah) for each step. Walk with humble heart, weeping eyes and frequently say: Çááøóåõ ÃóßúÈóÑõ æó áÇó Åöáóåó ÅöáÇøó Çááøóåõþ ALLAHU AKBAR WA LA ILLAHA ILLALLAH Allah is the greatest and there is no god except Allah and praise Allah, ask Allah to grant His Blessings upon the Prophet (saw) and His Progeny (asws) in particular Imam Hussain (asws). Also call down curses (lanat) from Heaven upon the killers of Imam Hussain (asws) frequently, and show disgust with those who established the foundation of oppression upon the Ahlul Bayt (asws) of RasoolAllah (saw). So when you get the gateway of the shrine stop and say: Çááøóåõ ÃóßúÈóÑõ ßóÈöíÑÇð æó ÇáúÍóãúÏõ áöáøóåö ßóËöíÑÇð æó ÓõÈúÍóÇäó Çááøóåö ÈõßúÑóÉð æó ÃóÕöíáÇð ALLAAHO AKBARO KABEERAN WALHAMDO LILLAAHE KASEERAN WA SUBHAANALLAHE BUKRATAN WA ASEELAN Allah is the greatest and all praise be unto Him and glory and praise be unto Him morning and evening ÇáúÍóãúÏõ áöáøóåö ÇáøóÐöí åóÏóÇäóÇ áöåóÐóÇ æó ãóÇ ßõäøóÇ áöäóåúÊóÏöíó áóæú áÇó Ãóäú åóÏóÇäóÇ Çááøóåõ áóÞóÏú ÌóÇÁóÊú ÑõÓõáõ ÑóÈøöäóÇ ÈöÇáúÍóÞöþ ALHAMDULILLAH ALDHEYA HADHA NALHADHA WA MA KUNNA-LIN HATDIYA LOWA LA IN HADAHANA ALLAHU LAQAD JAITH RASOOL RABBINA BILHAQ Praise be to Allah, the One Who guided us to this affair and certainly we would have not been guided, had Allah not guided us. 11. Assalamu alaikum Ya Ali (asws) Madad MashaAllah excellent point sister. We should be sighting the moon according to how Masoomeen (asws) have instructed us to. Not how the enemies of Masoomeen (asws) do. Since Muharram is so near I thought it appropriate to post a few practices for the month of Muharram as well as the night before Muharram. If you would like this in PDF format you can download PDF version by clicking HERE Practices and Merits of Muharram Syed ibn Tawoos in his book “Iqbal al Amal” has mentioned several prayers that are to be performed on this night. First Prayer: This prayer consists of 100 rakats. Sura Fatiha and Sura Tawhid (Ikhlaas) should be recited in every rakat. Second Prayer: This prayer consists of 2 rakats. In the first rakat one should recite Sura al Fatiha and Sura An’am. In the second rakat, one should recite Sura al Fatiha and Sura Yaseen. Third Prayer: This prayer consists of 2 rakats. Sura Fatiha and Sura Tawhid (Ikhlaas) should be recited 11 times each in every rakat. RasoolAllah (saw) said, “He who recites these two rakats of prayer on this night and holds fast on the following day is like one who has performed good deeds for the entire year. He will be protected during that year and if he dies, he will enter Paradise”. Vigil on the night before Muharram If possible one should keep awake on this night, spending it in recitation of Quran, dua, and prayer. Keeping fast during the first 9 days of Muharram Sheikh Toosi has written, “It is recommended to hold fast during the first 10 days of Muharram. However on the day of Ashura (10th Muharram) one should simply abstain from eating and drinking until the late afternoon, then he should eat a little of the soil from the grave of Imam Hussain (asws). To refrain from eating and drinking without making niyyat (intention) of fasting For Shias it is worth abstaining from eating and drinking without the intention of fasting during the day. In the late afternoon they should eat things which are eaten by the bereaved such as yogurt, milk, etc. and not eat delicious tasting foods. They should also wear clean clothes and roll up their sleeves like the bereaved people. Fasting is not allowed on the day of Ashura Allamah Majlisi in his book Zad al Ma’ad has written, “It is preferable to not hold fast on the 9th and 10th of Muharram because Bani Ummayyah (la) used to hold fast on these days in order to receive blessings and to rejoice at the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (asws). They (Bani Ummayyah la) have misled people by attributing to RasoolAllah (saw) a large number of false hadiths which claim the rewards of fasting on these two days. However there are numerous hadiths narrated by Masoomeen (asws) which state holding fast on these days but in particular the day of Ashura is haram.” Practices on the night before Ashura If one has been granted the blessing of going to Karbala to make ziarat of the shrine of Imam Hussain (asws) on this night and will spend this night in the holy shrine of Imam Hussain (asws), then Allah will resurrect him in the glory of the blood of Imam Hussain (asws). He will be considered as amongst the martyrs who accompanied Imam Hussain (asws). The tenth day of Muharram is the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (asws). This is the day of tragedy and great sorrow for Masoomeen (asws) and Their Shias. For the Shias, it is appropriate to not get involved in worldly affairs on this day and not to buy anything for storing in their houses. They should weep and mourn over the Imam (asws) and they should also narrate His tragedy. The Shias should hold majalis for Imam Hussain (asws) and express their grief in the way they do for their own dearest children or relatives. In addition, they should perform ziarat of Imam Hussain (asws) by reciting Ziarat Ashura. They should insist upon calling down the curses from Heaven upon the killers of Imam Hussain (asws) and in order to console one another due to this great tragedy, they should say: ÃÚÙã Çááå ÃÌæÑäÇ ÈãÕÇÈäÇ ÈÇáÍÓíä Úáíå ÇáÓáÇã Much and highly satisfying is the recompense from Allah for us when we are with Hussain (asws) æ ÌÚáäÇ æ ÅíÇßã ãä ÇáØÇáÈíä ÈËÇÑå ãÚ æáíå ÇáÅãÇã ÇáãåÏí ãä Âá ãÍãÏ Úáíåã ÇáÓáÇã In His sorrow and grief and surely He will make us and you to be amongst the good and worthy who will assist His cause and purpose under the wilayah of Imam al Mahdi (atfs) who is from Aal e Muhammad (asws) (Progeny (asws) of Muhammad saw) It is worth reciting the maqtal of Imam Hussain (asws) and causing tears to flow from the eyes of one another. It has been related that Nabi Musa (as) was ordered to visit Hz Khizr (as) and to learn from him. While talking to Musa (as), Hz Khizr (as) first narrated the tragedies and sufferings that Ahlul Bayt (asws) would have to bear which caused Hz Khizr (as) and Nabi Musa (as) to weep intensely. Ibn Abbas (ra) is quoted as saying, “I went to Imam Ali (asws) in Dhir Qar (near Basra). He took out a sheet of paper upon which He had written a saying of RasoolAllah (saw). Imam Ali (asws) read it for me. The paper included the tragedy of Imam Hussain (asws) and told how He would be slaughtered and identified those who would kill Him, those who would help Him, and those who would be martyred with Him. Then Imam Ali (asws) wept immensely and so did I.” Vigil on the night before Ashura It is related that, “One who keeps vigil on this night is like one who has worshipped Allah in the manner as the angels. The worship on this night is equal to the worship of 70 years”. Prayer of Moula Ali (asws) on the night before Ashura This prayer consists of 4 rakats. In every rakat one should recite Sura Fatiha once and Sura Tawhid (Ikhlaas) 50 times. This prayer has numerous rewards. One should frequently say the names of Allah upon completion of this prayer. 100 rakat prayer on the night before Ashura Syed ibn Tawoos in his book “Iqbal al Amal” has mentioned numerous duas and prayers that contain unlimited rewards for this night. Amongst them is a 100 rakat prayer. In each rakat one should recite Sura Fatiha once and Sura Tawhid (Ikhlaas) 3 times. When one completes the prayer he should say the following 70 times: ÓÈÍÇä Çááå æ ÇáÍãÏ ááå æ áÇ Åáå ÅáÇ Çááå Glory be to Allah and all praise be to Allah and there is no god except Allah æ Çááå ÃßÈÑ æ áÇ Íæá æ áÇ ÞæÉ ÅáÇ ÈÇááå ÇáÚáí ÇáÚÙíã Allah is the greatest and there is no power or strength except from Allah, Most High Most Great According to another hadith, before saying “Aliul Azeem” one should also ask Allah for forgiveness. 4 rakat prayer on the night before Ashura This prayer is to be performed late at night. In every rakat one should recite Sura Fatiha once and Ayatul Kursi, Sura Tawhid (Ikhlaas), Sura Falaq, and Sura al Nas ten times each. After one performs the salam of the prayer, then he should recite Sura Tawhid (Ikhlaas) 100 times. Refraining from mundane affairs on the Day of Ashura Bani Ummayyah (la) stored their provisions for the entire year in their houses on the Day of Ashura as a means of blessing. Imam Reza (asws) said , “If one does not attempt to earn his daily bread on the day of Ashura and does not occupy himself with work, then Allah Almighty will meet both his worldly and otherworldly requests. If one mourns, expresses sorrow, and weeps on the day of Ashura, then Allah will make the Day of Resurrection a day of happiness and joy for him and his eyes will be brightened by meeting Us in Paradise. If one considers the day of Ashura as a day of blessing and stores things in his house on that day, then Allah will not bless the provisions for him. In the hereafter, he will be gathered with yazid (la), ubaydullah (la) ibn ziyad (la) and umar (la) ibn saad (la).” Therefore, one should not involve himself in any way with the affairs of this world on the day of Ashura. Instead he should busy himself with weeping and mourning over the Imam (asws) as well as narrating His (Imam Hussain asws) tragedy. One should also tell one’s family members to hold majalis over the martyrdom of the Imam (asws) and to continue to remember it in the same manner as they would for the death of their dearest children or relatives. One should also abstain from eating and drinking on the day of Ashura without making the niyyat of fasting. Then one should end his abstaining by eating something even if it is as little as a sip of water in the late afternoon. He should not abstain from eating and drinking for the entire day. One should not store any provisions in his house, should not laugh, and should not busy himself with pleasure or amusement on this day. One should also call down the curses from Heaven upon the killers of Imam Hussain (asws) 1000 times by saying the following: Çááåã ÇáÚä ÞÊáÉ ÇáÍÓíä Úáíå ÇáÓáÇã O Allah lay a curse upon the killers of Imam Hussain (asws) Reference Mafatih al Jinan

  14. Prayer of Ghadeer It has been related that whoever observes this prayer will receive the same reward as one who was present with RasoolAllah (saw) on the Day of Ghadeer and pledged his allegiance to RasoolAllah (saw) regarding the wilayat of Moula Ali (asws). It is preferable to perform this 2 rakat prayer around noontime which is the time when RasoolAllah (saw) designed Moula Ali (asws) as Imam and caliph in Ghadeer Khum. One should recite Sura al Qadr in the first rakat and Sura Tawhid (Iklhaas) in the second rakat. After completing the prayer one should recite the following dua(due to the length of the dua I have linked its PDF copy) Practices & Merits of Eid ul Ghadeer Merits of the Day of Ghadeer The 18th day of Zil Hajj is the Day of Ghadeer. It is the greatest Eid of Allah and the Eid of Ahul Bayt (asws). No prophet was sent by Allah unless he testified that this day was an Eid and to be respected. In the heavens it is called Known Covenant (ahd ma’houd) and on the earth Taken Promise (al mithaq al makhoudh) and Witnessed Congregation (al jam al mashhoud). It is narrated Imam Sadiq (asws) was asked, “Is there any other eid for the muslims other than Friday, the Day of Sacrifice (Eidul Azha) or the Day of Fast Breaking (Eidul Fitr)?” Imam (asws) replied, “Yes there is another eid which is the most honored one. The narrator asked, “Which is that?” Imam (asws) replied, “It is the day when Ameerul Momineen (asws) was designated by RasoolAllah (saw) as His successor by saying “For whomsoever I am his Moula and guide, then Ali (asws) is his Moula and guide”. This day is the 18th of Zil Hajj”. The narrator asked, “What should be done on the day ?” Imam (asws) replied, “You should keep fast, worship Allah, remember Muhammad (saw) and His Progeny (asws) and should ask Allah to grant His blessings (salawat) upon Them.” RasoolAllah (saw) advised Moula Ali (asws) to consider this day as an Eid. Every prophet also advised their successor to consider this day as an eid. Ibn Abu Nasr al Bazanti has quoted Imam Reza (asws) as saying, “O’ son of Abu Nasr! Wherever you are, try to make ziyarat of the shrine of Ameerul Momineen (asws) on the Day of Ghadeer. Verily, Allah will free from hellfire double that of what He shall set free in the month of Ramadhan on the night of Qadr and on the eve of the Fast Breaking Day (Eidul Fitr). A drachma given to a momin (believing) brother on this day equals one thousand drachmas given at other times. Do good to your momin brothers on this day and make every believing man and woman happy. By Allah if the people knew the rewards of this day, the angels would shake hands with them ten times a day.” Dua for greetings on the day of Ghadeer When one meets a momin (believer), he should greet him/her in this way; الحمد لله الذي جعلنا من المتمسكين بولاية أمير المؤمنين و الائمة عليه السلام Alhamdulillah aldheya jalna min al matmaskeen bay-wilayat ameer al momineen wa al aimma alayhi alsalam Praise be to Allah who blessed us to be amongst those who cling and hold to the wilayat of Ameerul Momineen (asws) and all the Imams (asws) Another dua ; الحمد لله الذي أكرمنا بهذا اليوم و جعلنا من الموفين بعهده إلينا Alhamdulillah al dheya akramna bay-hadha al youm wa jalna min al mufeen biahdah ilayna Praise be to Allah who honored us with this day and included us among those who have been given all that which was promised to them و ميثاقه الذي واثقنا به من ولاية و لاة أمره و القوام بقسطه Wa maythaqah aldheya wa athaqna biha min wilayat walat ameerah wa alqoum biqastah And a covenant that binds them together in His wilayat and His justice و لم يجعلنا من الجاحدين و المكذبين بيوم الدين Wa lam yajalna min wal makdhabeen biyoum al deen And did not disgrace us to be amongst those who know better but deny the truth and treat the Day of Judgment as a false fable Expressing gratitude for the wilayat on the Day of Ghadeer One should recite the following 100 times; الحمد لله الذي جعل كمال و تمام نعمته بولاية أمير المومنين علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام Alhamdulillah aldheyaa jal kamal wa tamam naimatah bi-wilayat ameer al Momineen ali bin abi talib alayhi salam Praise be to Allah who had perfected His religion and completed His favour with the wilayat of Ameerul Momineen Ali (asws) ibn Abi Talib (as). First Practice: 2 rakat prayer One should say 2 rakat prayer half an hour prior to the mid-day. In each rakat one should recite Sura al Fatiha once and Sura Tawhid (Ikhlaas), Ayatul Kursi and Sura Qadr ten times each. The reward of this prayer equals 1000 hajj and 1000 umrah as well as worldly and other worldy duas will be granted by Allah. After completing this prayer, it is preferable for one to recite the following dua ; رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا ۚ رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ Our Lord! Lo! we have heard a crier calling unto Faith: "Believe ye in your Lord!" So we believed. Our Lord! Therefore forgive us our sins, and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die the death of the righteous. (Sura Aal e Imran ayah 193) رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدْتَنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ Our Lord! and grant us what Thou hast promised us by Thy messengers; and disgrace us not on the day of resurrection; surely Thou dost not fail to perform the promise (Sura Aal e Imran ayah 194) Second Practice: Holding fast on the Day of Ghadeer Holding fast on this day will atone the committing of sins within sixty years. It has been related that fasting on the Day of Ghadeer is equivalent to fasting the time span of the existence of the entire world and the performance of 1000 hajj and 1000 umrah. Third Practice: Ziyarat of Moula Ali (asws) One should attempt to perform ziyarat of the shrine of Ameerul Momineen (asws). One of the ziyarats which can be read from both near or far away is known as Ameenullah and another is one of the general ziyarats known as Jamiah. It is worth mentioning that each of the following acts on this day has great rewards; Wearing proper clothes, adornments, perfumes, rejoicing, gladdening the shia of Moula Ali (asws), forgiving their faults, meeting their requests, paying visit to one’s relatives, being generous towards one’s family, feeding the believers (momineen) and offering meals at the time of breaking the fast to those who are fasting, shaking hands with momineen (believers), visiting them and associating with them amiably, sending gifts to them, thanking Allah for granting the great blessing of wilayat and frequently reciting salawat and dhikr while worshipping. Giving a single dirham to one’s momin brother on this day equals giving one thousand drachmas given on other days. Also feeding a momin (believer) on this day equals feeding all the Prophets and the righteous on other days. In His sermon that He (Moula Ali asws) delivered on the Day of Ghadeer Moula Ali (asws) says, “Whoever provides a meal in the evening at the time of fast breaking to one who has fasted, it is as though he has done it for ten fasting fi’ams.” Someone asked, “O’ Ameerul Momineen (asws)! What do you mean by fi’am?” Moula Ali (asws) replied, “I mean 1000 prophets, righteous men, and martyrs. Now understand the rewards one will receive when he attempts to provide for a large number of momin (believers), men and women. Therefore I guarantee him before Allah for being saved by Allah from kufar (disbelief) and poverty.” Reference Mafatih al Jinan
  15. Assalamu alaikum Ya Ali (asws) Madad It is with the great blessings of Imam e Zamana (atfs) that we are today able to share with all momineen the sermon delivered by Moula Ali (asws) at Ghadeer Khum. You can read online or download PDF copy in English or Urdu and it is only available at Wilayat Mission. This is one of the greatest sermons of Ameerul Momineen (asws). What makes this sermon special is that Moula Ali (asws) delivered it on the Day of Ghadeer. Unfortunately, the enemies of Wilayat have tried to remove this sermon from the history. When they found they were unable to do so, they attempted to change the words of this sermon, but you must know that batil (falsehood) will never overcome haq (truth). The original Arabic text was found in a very old transcript . Alhamdulillah it is a great blessing of Masoomeen (asws) that we were chosen to translate this sermon and share it with you. In this sermon, Moula Ali (asws) says that it is wajib (obligatory) upon all to convey this message to others and that no excuse for not doing so will be accepted. May Moula (asws) increase the iman (faith) and marifat (recognition) of all of us. Ameen.
  16. Assalamu alaikum Ya Ali (asws) Madad With the help and blessings of Masoomeen (asws) we have been able to share the english translation of Tawheed al Muffadhal. Tawheed al Muffadhal is a brief account of the teachings of Imam Jafar Sadiq (asws) as narrated by Muffahdal ibn Omar who was a companion of Imam Jafar Sadiq (Asws). Muffadhal asks the Imam (asws) regarding all aspects of life. Questions such as does Allah exist, why is there day and night. why is man made the way he is, why are the animals made as they are, what is the purpose of tears, saliva, teeth, beard, etc. This is a very brief but very comprehensive book covering many aspects of life and answering many questions that we all ask ourselves such as "why do bad things happen to good people and good things happen to bad people". This is a must read book for every person regardless of what "sect" you label yourself with. You can read online or download a PDF version. Please remember us in your prayers and duas.
  17. Assalamu alaikum Ya Ali (asws) Madad Imam Jafar (asws) bin Mohammad (asws) who narrates from his father(asws) who narrates from Imam Ali (asws) bin Hussain (asws) who narrates from his father Imam Hussain (asws) who said: Ameerul Momineen (asws) was sitting in Rahbaha and people were sitting around him when a man stood up and said, “O Ameerul Momineen (asws), it is Allah that has placed you in this position however your father will be tortured in Hell.” Ameerul Momineen (asws) replied, “I swear by Allah who sent Muhammad (saw) as a prophet that if My Father intercedes for all of the sinners on earth, Allah will accept it. How can My Father be in Hell, while I, his son, am the one who divides between Paradise and Hell? I swear by Allah, who sent Muhammad (saw) as a prophet, my father’s noor on the Day of Judgement exceeds the noor of all creatures except the noor of five noors: the noor of Muhammad (saw), my (Imam Ali(asws)’s ) noor, the noor of Fatima (sa), the noor of Hasan (asws) and Hussain (asws), and the noor of the Imams (asws) from the sons of Hussain (asws). Be aware that Abu Talib (as)’s noor is from Our noor. Allah created his noor two thousand years before He created Adam.” Al-Hojja ‘Ala Al-Thaheb ila Takfeer Abi Taleb P72. Al-Darajatol Rafee’ah P50. 19. Assalamu alaikum Ya Ali (asws) Madad Sura Baqarah ayah 38 “We said: Go forth from this (state) all; so surely there will come to you a guidance from Me, then whoever follows My guidance, no fear shall come upon them, nor shall they grieve” Jabir narrates, “I asked Imam Abu Jafar (as) regarding this ayah, “so surely there will come to you a guidance from Me, then whoever follows My guidance, no fear shall come upon them, nor shall they grieve.”, Imam (as) said, “The guidance is Ali (asws) ibn Abi Talib (as).” (Tafseer Ayyashi First Edition pg 60)
  20. Assalamu alaikum This is Dua Samat. I apologize but due to its length I am only posting a portion of it here. YOu can read the entire dua online along with the arabic text and transliteration by clicking HERE Dua Samat also known as Dua Shubboor is recommended to be recited the last hour of Friday daytime. It goes without saying that it is amongst the well known duas. Most of the late scholars recited this dua. It can be found in the writing of Sheikh Toosi in his Misbah al Mutahajjid, Jamal al Usbou by Syed ibn Tawus, and in the writings of Sheikh Kafami. This dua was also narrated on the authority of Imam Muhammad Baqir (asws) and Imam Jafar Sadiq (asws). Allama Majlisi mentions it in his book “Biharul Anwar” along with its commentary. The following is the dua as cited by Sheikh Toosi in his “Misbah al Mutahajjid”. O’ Allah! I beseech You through Your Name, the great, the most great, the most majestic, the most magnificent and the most noble If You are requested therewith to open the closed doors of the sky these will open with Your mercy. If You are requested thereby to remove the narrowness of the doors of the earth, they will be opened wide. If You are requested thereby to make easy the difficulty, it will be made easy. If You are requested thereby to restore the dead to life, they will rise from their graves. If You are requested thereby to remove misery and adversity, it will be removed I beseech You through the Majesty of Your person, the Most Generous and the Most Honoured One, before Whom everybody bows down in submission and all necks bend down in reverence and all voices become humbled and all hearts tremble; through His fear and I beseech You through Your Might, which prevents the heaven from falling on the earth except with Your permission, and which controls all the heavens and the earth so closely that they cannot move away from their positions; and I beseech You through Your Will, which the whole world obeys, and through Your Word. By which You have created the heaven and the earth, and through Your Wisdom, with which You have created the wonders, and with which You created Darkness and made it Night, and made night the time of quiet and rest; and with which You created Light and made it Day, and made day the time of movement and observation; and with which You have created the Sun, and made the sun gleam And with which You have created the Moon, and made the moon light; and with which You have created heavenly bodies, and made them fixed stars and planets, and lamps for guidance at night, and as a means of decoration, and missiles for driving away devils, and have created for them east and west, and have created for them the places of ascendancy and orbits, and created for them a firmament and sphere, and fixed for them stages in the heaven and how beautiful the stages and shaped the stars and how beautiful the shapes and made them stable through Your Name; and from Your Wisdom You designed a system for them and what a good system,
  21. Assalamu alaikum Ya Ali (asws) Madad Imam Jafar (asws) bin Muhammad (asws) narrates from his father (asws) who narrates from Imam Ali (asws) bin Hussain (asws) who narrates from his father Imam Hussain (asws) who narrates from Ameerul Momineen (asws) who narrates; RasoolAllah (saw) said: [Allah has given so many incredible virtues to my brother, Ali (asws) bin Abi Talib (as), that they are impossible to count. If someone mentions one of his virtues while believing in it, Allah will forgive all of his past and future sins. If someone writes one of his virtues, angels will seek forgiveness for him for as long as that written text continues to exist. If someone listens to one of his virtues, Allah will forgive all of the sins that he has committed using his ears. If someone reads a book about his virtues, Allah will forgive all of the sins that he has committed using his eyes. Looking at Ali (asws) bin Abi Talib (as) is worshipping Allah, and mentioning him is worshipping Allah. Allah does not accept the beliefs of anyone who does not accept Ali (asws)’s Wilayat, and who does not renounce his enemies. Bihar Al-Anwar V26 P229 H10. Manaqeb Khawarezmi P2. Kefayat Al-Taleb P252. 24. Assalamu alaikum Ya Ali (asws) Madad Sermon without Alif of Ameerul Momineen (asws) (arabic text is included inPDF download) I praise the One Whose blessing is great, whose blessing overwhelms, whose mercy is faster than His anger, the One whose word is perfect, whose will is affected, whose argument (issue) is wise, whose case is just. I praise Him like one recognizing His Lord, submissive while adoring Him, dissociating himself from his sin, recognizing His Unity, seeking refuge with Him against His warning, hopeful for the mercy (forgiveness) of his Lord that saves him [from the Fire] on a Day when everyone will be distracted even from his offspring and tribe. We seek His help, guidance and directions. We believe in Him and depend on Him. I have testified to Him as a sincere and convinced servant; I recognize His Uniqueness as a pious believer, and I have recognized His Unity like a submissive servant. He has no partner in His domain; He relies on none in doing whatever He does. He is exalted above having an adviser or a vizier. He is above using a model or an assistant or a helper or a peer. He knows, so He covers; He is acquainted with the innermost, so He is most familiar [with our intentions]. He cast a look, so He assisted; He owns everything, so He subdues. He is disobeyed, yet He forgives; He is adored, so He thanks. He rules, so He affects justice, and He is generous and grants favors. He shall never come to an end, and He has always been as He is; there is nothing like Him. He, first and foremost, is a unique Lord in His exaltation, able through His might, holy through His sublimity, proud of His Majesty; no (mental) vision can realize Him, nor can anyone ever see Him. He is strong, invincible, seeing, hearing, clement, wise, affectionate and kind. One who attempts to describe Him can never do so; one who attempts to describe His attributes can never do so [either]. His blessing reaches those who get to know Him: He is near, so He is far [above mental or physical vision]; He is far yet He is near [closer to us than anything else]. He responds to the call of those who call on Him; He sustains His servant and surrounds him with His love; His niceties are hidden [from our comprehension]; His power is mighty; His mercy is wide; His penalty is painful; His mercy is a broad and a Garden of grandeur (Paradise); His punishment is Hell filled with horrors and chains. I have testified that He sent Muhammad (saw) as His servant and messenger, prophet, chosen one, loved one, friend, a link [with the Almighty] that grants him [Muhammad saw] fortune, bringing him closer to Him, elevating him, granting him nearness and closeness [to the Almighty]. He sent him during a good (opportune) period of time, when there was disbelief, as mercy for His servants and a boon for more. Through him He sealed His prophetic messages, strengthened (explained) His argument. So he admonished, advised, conveyed the message and worked hard [for people. He was, affectionate towards every believer, merciful, easy to please, the friend of anyone who is generous and pure: mercy, salutation, blessing and honor be with him from a forgiving, affectionate, kind, near, responsive and wise Lord. I have admonished you, O folks who are present here with me, to be pious (as your Lord has admonished) towards your Lord, and I have reminded you of the Sunna of your Prophet; so, take to awe that calms your hearts, fear that draws your tears, piety that saves you on a Day which will puzzle your minds and put you to the test, a day in which one shall win if the weight of his good deeds is heavy while that of his sins is light. Let your plea be in humility and surrender, appreciation and submission, repentance and dissociation [from sin], regret and return [to righteousness]. Let everyone of you seize the opportunity when he is healthy before the time when he is sick, when he is young before he is aged, old and sick, [the opportunity] of his ease before he is poor, of having free time before he is busy, of being wealthy before being impoverished, of being present at home before he is away traveling, of being alive before his death. He shall grow old, become weak, aged, sick, ailing, so much so that even his doctor is fed-up with him, even those who love him turn away from him. His lifespan will have come to an end. His color of complexion is changed. His mental power is decreased, so it is said that he is ailing and his body is failing. He is having a hard time as he finds himself suffering from the throes of death: He is attended by those who are close and who are distant. He gazes his looks, yearns as he turns his eyes, his forehead sweating, his [physical] senses being snatched away from him [one by one]. His sighs are now silent, his soul has departed, so he is mourned by his wife. His grave is dug, his children are now orphans, those who were around him (his friends or foes) are now dispersed from around him. What he had accumulated (legacy) has now been divided [among heirs]. Gone now are his faculty of seeing and hearing; so he receives Talqeen; he is stretched [on the ground] and directed [towards the Qibla]. He is stripped of his clothes, bathed, in the nude, dried then directed [towards the Qibla]. Something has been spread on the floor for him as his shrouds are being prepared. His chin has been tied, his soul has already departed from his body and he has been bidden farewell by all. He is now shrouded, his head wrapped, so is his body, and he has been handed over [for burial]. He is carried in a wooden box (coffin); his funeral prayers have been performed with Takbir but without prostration or the rubbing of the forehead. He is taken away from a decorated abode [this life], from well built mansions and chambers topping each other, so he is now in an enclosure of a grave which is very narrow and separated from others; it is built with baked clay on top of each other and is sealed with a rock. Dust has been healed on him, so he now is sure about that of which he was warned; his chest is now heavy; he is now a thing of the past. His friends, chosen ones, companions, in-laws and close friends have all left him behind. His company and loved ones are now changed, for he is now nothing but the filling of a grave and the pawn of a waste: Worms crawl all over his body, his pus drips from his nostrils on his neck and chest. Soil crushes his flesh as his blood dries and bone decays. He remains in his grave till the Day when he is herded with others and is given a new life; so, he is taken out of his grave. His trumpet is blown, he is called on to gather with others and stand trial. Graves are scattered around, the innermost in the hearts are recorded and calculated. Every prophet, Siddiq (truthful), martyr, anyone who speaks is brought and made to stand for the final judgment of One Who is fully knowledgeable of His servants, seeing [all what they do]. Countless exhalations engulf him, sighs fade him (distance him), in a horrific position and an awesome scene before a Great King Who knows about everything small and big. He is reined by his sweat, his worry crushing him, yet his tear has none to feel sorry for, his scream (defense) is not accepted. His record of deeds is brought, his innermost becomes visible, and every part of his body now speaks of his wrongdoings: His eyes testify about what he had seen, his hands about whom he beat, his legs about where he had gone, his skin about what he had contacted, his private parts about with whom he had had intercourse. He is threatened by Munkir and Nakir; and it is unveiled for him where he is heading; so his neck now is tied with chains and his hands are cuffed. He is taken alone, dragged and brought to Hell as he is in a great distress and hardship. He remains in the torment of hell given to drink of very hot pus that grills his face and separates his skin from his body. He is beaten by the torture angels of hell with iron clubs. His skin returns again and again anew after having been baked. He cries for help, yet even the angels in Hell turn away from him. He pleads for mercy, so he stays for a while regretful, yet he finds none to care about his regret. His regret will then be in vain. We seek refuge with an Able Lord from the evil of any final end such as this, and we plead for forgiveness similar to that of one with whom He is pleased and for an overlooking similar to that of one whose good deeds He has accepted; for He is my Master, ultimate pursuit and the one Who grants success to what I seek. Surely one who is pushed away from the torment of his Lord shall reside in Paradise near to Him and remain forever in well built mansions, having huris with large lovely eyes and servants. He is given to drink of fresh cool water mixed with ginger and sealed with musk and fragrance that perpetuates happiness and provides the sense of pleasure. He drinks from an orchard filled with all types of pleasures, and it never runs out; such is the ultimate end of one who fears his Lord, who is on guard about his sin, about the insinuations of his nafs (self), and that was the penalty of one who opposes the [sinless] way [in which] he was created, the one whose evil self decorates for him to do what is against his nature. Such is the final judgment and the ruling of One Who is just: He narrated parables, admonished through texts, revealed revelations from a Praiseworthy Wise One, revelations which He descended with a clear (able) Holy Spirit [arch-angel Gabriel] from a Glorious Lord unto a Prophet who is rightly guided and who guides others, one who shows others the right way, a mercy to the believers, clearly from a Great Lord, a master frequented by messengers (angels) who are honored and obedient [of their Lord]. I have sought refuge with a Lord Who is knowing, wise, able, merciful, from the evil of an enemy who is cursed and stoned; so, let everyone who pleads plead, and let everyone who seeks [favors of his Lord] seek and ask forgiveness of the Lord of lords for myself and for you all. Having finished his miraculous sermon, the Imam (asws) recited this following verse of the Holy Qur'an: "We shall grant that (eternal) abode of the hereafter to those who intend neither high-handedness nor mischief on earth, and such end is (the best reward) for the righteous" (Qur'an, 28:83). (Kifayat al-Talib, p. 248 , Sharh Nahj al-Balaghah, vol. 19, p. 140)
  25. Assalamu alaikum Ya Ali (asws) Madad I am not sure exactly what you're wanting I have a few hadiths that are in reference to the "rememberance of Allah" although they do not have the particular phrase you quoted maybe they might be of some benefit inshaAllah Kokab Durri page no. 35 Ameerul Momineen (asws) said, “I am the Face of Allah and attention towards Me is the same as attentions towards Allah. I am the Side of Allah and gaining My marifat (recognition) takes you towards to Allah. I am the Hand of Allah. All of His actions are done through Me. He orders and I do with My hands. I do and it is as if Allah has done Himself. I am the Eyes of Allah. The whole universe is laid out in front of Me and this world is like a speck before Me. I am Quran e Natiq (speaking Quran) and Burhan e Sadiq (absolute truth). My essence is haq (truth)and a proof of the one who is haq (Allah)” Sura Taha ayah 142: “But he who turneth away from remembrance of Me, his will be a narrow life, and I shall bring him blind to the assembly on the Day of Resurrection” In Tafseer e Furat page no 173, Imam Muhammad Baqir (as) said, “If anyone abandons Wilayat e Ali (as), Allah will make him blind and deaf. In this ayah, “remembrance of Me” is Ali (as) ibn Abi Talib (as). “ In Tafseer e Safi ref Kafi, Imam (as) says, “Remembrance of Me” means Wilayat e Ali (as). Blind means he will be raised blind on the day of judgement and ignorant in this world from Wilayat e Ali (as).” Sura Ankaboot ayah 45: “Recite that which has been revealed to you of the Book and keep up prayer; surely prayer keeps (one) away from indecency and evil, and certainly the remembrance of Allah is the greatest, and Allah knows what you do” In the tafseer of this ayah, Masoomeen (as) said, “We are the remembrance of Allah”. (Shahadatay Wilayat e Ali (as) page no. 180 ref Miratul Anwar, Tafseer e Burhan, Kifayatul Muhideen) Sura Jummah ayah 9: “O you who believe! when the call is made for prayer on Friday, then hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trading; that is better for you, if you know.” In the tafseer of this ayah, Imam Muhammad Baqir (as) says, “Remembrance of Allah is Wilayat e Ali (as).” (Shahadatay Wilayat e Ali (as) page 180 ref Akhtisaas)
